Hello I am working with ABC Financial to get all the details on the accountThey handle all cancelations for usIt does not sound like the member followed proper procedures for a cancelationI will confirm and get back to you early next week as ABC is closed on weekendsABC does keep record of
all calls and this can be provided as well? Jeremy *** Owner

We are very sorry that Danielle was offended by the difference in opinion that our Trainer Jennifer had regarding  the [redacted] news story that was aired during one of their training sessions. We have reached out to Danielle by means of email and phone call and numerous times to...

help resolve this issue. She has spoken to [redacted] of the Business, [redacted] Wife, the [redacted], The office [redacted] and the Personal Training [redacted] as well as the Corporate Team. Along with our apologies we have offered to replace the Personal Training Sessions (6 Qty.) at a value of $240.00, she paid $200 down for her Training Package. We are saddened that this misunderstanding and difference in opinion has effected Danielle so deeply and have offered what we feel is a fair settlement. We would love to move forward, mend these broken bridges and regain a professional relationship with Danielle.

[redacted]  I apologize for not having responded sooner to the above complaint.  I did receive the complaint and left a voice mail message for [redacted] on January 20, 2016.  I was...

hoping to hear back from him so that he and I could come to a satisfactory resolution.  He has not called me back as of today.  I would be able to adjust the late fees from his account which would leave him owing only the amount for the 30 day notice period.  I will try to call him again today.   If I do not hear back from Jonathan, I can adjust the late fees off and leave a balance of  $36.04 that he will have to pay for his last month.[redacted]

Attached is the copy of [redacted]'s contract. What she is saying is simply untrue. If anyone asks about the cancellation policies when they sign up, we tell them flat out its due to a medical reason or moving to where there is no Anytime Fitness. Keep in mind if they are moving it has to be to a different address from where they signed up with.

The comment was rude and definitely unwelcoming, there was much more that was stated in the previous email sent to corporate.  (COPIED MESSEGE)---  I have decided to take some time to email some of my concerns I have had with the Tomah Gym and also explain why my husband or myself have not been back to the gym since the end of July 2017.  I have struggled with weight my whole life and keeping it off does not come easy for me.  So my husband decided he would join the gym with me.  We have had a membership at the Anytime Gym in Tomah in the past and I was very successful at losing 85lbs, so we decided to join again February 2017 and we both paid for the year upfront.  I was having a hard time losing, doing what I did the first time I had lost weight,  assuming it was because I was older so I approached Jen asking for help and how to use some of the equipment and if she had any ideas.  She talked about personal training and said it would benefit me.  I decided I would give it a try.  She said I could do payments on it if I would like so I put $200 down right away.  It did not help me, infact it made me feel worse!  She was NOT motivational at all,  she complained about numerous members,  which later found out I was topic of conversion at one point.   She was so consumed in her wedding planning that one session was basically looking at pictures of where her wedding was going to take place and what they were going to do while in Florida and Tennessee.  Also, 90% off the time she would be looking in the mirrors fluffing or fixing her hair.  One session she had mentioned she wished she had more trainers so she didn't have to continue doing the sessions with people, which did make me feel like I was more of an inconvenience.  The thing that got me the most and was my breaking point was a comment she made about bigger people!!  The comment came about because [redacted] was on TV talking and she (Jen) made a comment about how she did not like [redacted] and feels she should not be in the public eye.  Also,  that she didn't agree with all the publicity she had gotten about her weight because she feels if your going to be in the public eye you should be fit and take care of yourself.   This really upset me because I, myself struggle with weight on a daily basis, not because I don't take care of myself!!  After that session I or my husband have not returned to the gym.  I actually left crying that day and called my husband and said that I give up on trying to loose weight because a place I went to try and better myself and become more fit, now felt more judged than anything.  I did message Jen to say I felt the training was not working out and that I would not be continuing.  I told her I just felt our schedules weren't working out together, because at that point in time I felt defeated.   I had only done 6 sessions with her to feel worse about myself than I did starting off.   I am looking for a refund for 7 Month for husband and myself as we missed out on 7 months due to comments and unprofessionalism that was addressed in emails!  Also, message that was received through Facebook by [redacted] of Anytime Fitness showed no concern what so every of her actions or how it made me feel.  I have heard from numerous people they have left Tomah Anytime Fitness for the same reasons.  As said before I will not step foot in this gym again.  I have numerous people that will back statements and sign a form stating these concerns.  Looking for refund nothing less of this. Thank you, Danielle [redacted] Revdex.com:

Our office was instructed to call all our past due accounts sometime around the 15th to the 17th of May by our owner. My assistant [redacted] contacted Ms. [redacted] by phone and at that time Ms. [redacted] got "sassy" with [redacted]'s words exactly) and refused to pay her past due balance stating that...

her husband had cancelled her account "A long time ago". Upon pulling up her history, we had no record of a cancellation on our end. Additionally (as in our account notes) our billing company had been leaving messages at the phone number listed on her acct several times during April and the first half of May letting Ms. [redacted] know her account was delinquent. We received no phone call from Ms. [redacted] in response to said phone calls at all showing concern that she had cancelled her account. These phone calls persisted for 6 weeks and went unanswered. [redacted] did let me know about Ms. [redacted] however I was out of the office for a few days dealing with a very sick dog that eventually died. I came back in during the week of May 21st (the next week but forget the day exactly) to find a note on my desk from [redacted] to call Ms. [redacted] however that very evening, her husband (I believe his name is [redacted]) called the office to cancel [redacted] account. We typically do not allow cancellations over the phone or for one person to cancel an account for another person AND we definitely do NOT allow people to cancel who have a delinquent balance which had been the case the last time I had viewed this particular account. However, Mr. [redacted] was very polite and upon pulling up the account history, I saw that the account had been paid and was up to date so I made an exception and cancelled the account right then and there. Mr. [redacted], at that time, made ZERO mention of ever trying to cancel this account before which I would think would have been the case had he truly ever tried to do so. He was very polite and our conversation was pleasant. I assumed since the account had been paid and cancelled that there was no need to call Ms. [redacted] because everything had been taken care of. Until the next day when Ms. [redacted] called me and chewed me out, talking over me and not letting me explain anything that had transpired regarding her account. She began to get beligerent stating that "my customer service sucked" and that she was "going to come down here and get her $90 back". At that point, tired of being insulted and threatened I hung up the phone, called my boss to let him know what had transpired and went to grab my lunch that I had already ordered from [redacted]. When I returned to the office approx20 minutes laterI saw that I had multiple missed calls from Ms. [redacted]. I began to eat my lunch andwithin 5 minutesreceived a phone call from another number requesting the name of my supervisor. At that time I knew it was a friend of Ms. [redacted]'s calling to get the number. I gave it to her and let her know it was ok to call and that my manager was already apprised of the situation. By the time I had finished my lunch, Ms. [redacted] angrily came into my office and began to insult me some more. She refused to let me explain what had transpired on our end instead wanting to argue her point and state that she wanted her $90. I tried once again to explain that we have record of making multiple attempts to contact her about her past due account, no record of any cancellation and also that per her contract that she signed we have a 30 day cancellation policy and that I had already spoken to her husband and took care of the whole thing. Instead she talked over me, recorded me without my knowledge (I found out at the END of the conversation) and insulted me OVER and OVER again. I was in the process of trying to pull up her account on the computer to show her our computerized notes showing the multiple unreturned phone calls we had made to her when she insulted me one more time. Finally I asked her to leave my office or I would call the police. She did so and that was the last I heard from her until receiving your notice in the mail.

Hello,  [redacted] is in month to month at the end of her membership. All she has to do to cancel this is to come down and pay her 30 day notice payment of 54.95, sign off on her cancel form, and she would be good to go. We have told her this twice, but she refuses to come down to sign the...

form. She joined 10/21/16, and the contract part of her 12 month membership ran out on 10/21/17. At the end of our memberships it automatically goes month to month, she was told this when she signed up and after that as well. She had 2 free months on the end of her membership after that, so she didn't make a payment at all on 10/21/17 or 11/21/17. Then billing on the month to month portion resumed for 12/21/17. So, once again, all she has to do to cancel her account is come down to the club, sign off on her cancellation form, and pay the 54.95 that is past due, and she would be good to go.  Thank you!

Anytime Fitness4641 Airport Rd Suite 9505-424-9770Revdex.com 7007 Jefferson St NE Suite A Albuquerque, NM 87109 Dear Revdex.com,This letter is in response to complaint ID [redacted] broke a mirror in the gym by dropping a weight on the floor that bounced into the mirror. There is a...

sign on the mirror telling members that if they break the mirror, they would be held responsible for it. [redacted] initially took responsibility for the mirror and agreed to pay 25.00 dollars a week until the repair fee was paid off. After speaking to representatives from the Anytime Fitness at the [redacted]s location, (which has no affiliation to the Airport Rd. location) [redacted] informed us that he wasn't going to pay. He agreed to pay the deductible. I informed him that we didn't file an insurance claim, but he'd be responsible for the entire amount regardless. He refused to pay and had been very rude to my staff. The police had to be called because he refused to leave the office. He is therefore no longer welcomed in our gym, and we filed a lawsuit for the cost of the mirror.Regards, Richard B[redacted]Anytime Fitness SouthsideCo-Owner[redacted]

I researched the account under [redacted]'s name and found that he and his friend both signed agreements with our club. Each agreement lists out the amount of the monthly dues, the type of membership plan (24 months), and our cancellation policy. Both members were given 3 free months up front on their...

agreements, with payments beginning in March of 2018. I have e-mailed copies of both of the agreements to [redacted].

Mr. G[redacted] called from the business stated that they make calls to reach out to consumers to see how they are and if there is anything they can do to help them, etc. Mr. G[redacted] stated that no more phone calls will be received.

Revdex.com spoke with the business. While this customer did not follow through the proper cancellation process this account has been since cancelled.

Thank you so much for reaching out to us regarding this member.  I am happy to explain.  Mr. [redacted] first came in requesting to only cancel his wife.  He turned in the required 30 days notice and the request was submitted.  He then came in requesting to cancel himself also. ...

Because to requests were made in a very short period of time, it was thought that he originally wanted to cancel the whole family, which is how most people cancel when they turn in a request.  It was then thought that he decided that he wanted to keep his membership, so the monthly was adjusted to reflect only one member: him.  He was then charged for the monthly of only one person.  We later realized that he actually wanted to cancel the whole contract including all members.  Once this was figured out, we requested that ABC financial refund him the amount that he paid.  We didn't intentionally charge him after turning in a notice.  The information wasn't relayed from the club level to the owner what the end goal was to be since 2 different notices were turned in for the same family.  When 2 notices are turned in, with one saying to keep the primary member active, being [redacted], that was what was honored.  Again, it was figured out and the member said that he understood the confusion and he has been refunded, so I am not sure why you are even receiving a complaint, but it has been resolved 3 weeks ago.  Thank you for you time.  Attached you will see notes copied from ABC billing co where the acct was cancelled and where the refund was issued.  Thank you, [redacted] DC, FNPOwner

Our response to this is the same as what I stated previously. We are following the same protocol we do for all of our members with this case. Thank you!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

When Mr. [redacted] came in to sign up, he was given the option of having the two months free and paying 44.90 per month (which is a regular membership), or paying 35.16 per month with no joining fee. Mr. [redacted] made the decision to pay the 35.16 a month, without the two months free, after the sales associate explained the different options. We wish Mr. [redacted] would have addressed these issues at the time of his sign up if he felt this deal was unfair, or at least asked more questions to gain a better understanding of the options that were offered to him. We would hate to lose a valued member, so we would like to offer Mr. [redacted] one free month and keep him at the corporate rate of 35.16 per month, which would be reflected on his January dues. We hope both parties can learn from this and come to an agreement soon. Thank you,[redacted], Office Manager
