Appliances Connection Reviews (991)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The items was never shipped, nor received.  This retailer is a crook.  I challenge them to produce proof of receipt for the fridge or microwave.  Any retailer who indicates they shipped an online order 6 weeks after someone orders, no communication at all during this time of NO SHIPMENTS.  They had no idea it had not even been shipped until I called to cancel.  They now claim magically they shipped it the day after I called?  They clearly are trying not to lose any revenue they determined they would lose from not shipping the items.Criminal charges are being pursued with the Atty Generals office due to the volume of scam claims filed against this company.  Contact you local Atty generals office to get updates of claims filed against this company.  Most people would not pursue these types of claims because of the time involved.  This happened to a business that has an [redacted] who does not want us to let this type of behavior continue.

Appliances Connection is the all time worst customer experience I have ever had. My blood pressure rises just thinking about this company. I cannot urge you strongly enough to not shop with this company. I made a large purchase that arrived totally destroyed on my doorstep. The replacement they sent arrived totally destroyed and then they refused to come pick it up. I spent hours - I mean really hours - on infuriating phone calls, on email, trying to get them to make this situation right. They repeatedly made promises or agreements that they didn't even try to keep. They have no regard whatsoever for customer satisfaction or even basic decency. They also will censor any negative reviews on their website, which is why you won't see anything there. Please, please do not shop here.

I ordered a vanity in November 2016 that was listed as "available," even though everywhere else said it was backordered. I naively thought that I had found the last one. After a couple of weeks went by with no ship date, I called only to find out that they didn't actually have the vanity in stock. They had to order it. They said it was on its way and they would have it within a week, which would mean I would get it within two weeks. I called back a week later to confirm they had it, and to my surprise they did not. They said they didn't have the phone number to their manufacturers, only their email (?), and that although they had been checking up on the status daily, as I had previously asked, the order still managed to "get lost" for a week. Thus, they don't have any in their warehouse. The problem is that their website CURRENTLY says they have ten in stock ready for quick ship. I was so frustrated by being sucked into purchasing through them that I canceled my order. Luckily for me, in the three weeks I had been waiting for a ship date from Appliances Connection, a ton of other places were restocked and ready to ship. I purchased the same vanity today through [redacted], and it has already been shipped! Even though I ordered it through [redacted] on 12/**/2016, I will get the vanity a full six days sooner than Appliances Connection, from whom I ordered on 11/**/2016. They engage in a scheme of false advertising to encourage sales at the expense of the customer. I will never shop there again.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

ALL THEY SAID WAS "WE WILL UPDATE YOU SHORTLY" WHICH THEY HAVE BEEN TELLING ME FOR MONTHS.  NOTHING IS RESOLVED AND I REJECT THIS RESPONSE.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and although they have not recounted the events leading up to my complaint correctly, especially the part where they say that they do not know what happened to the extended warranties , when in fact they voided them as recently as early April 0f 2016. But they have offered to reinstate the extended warranties after I filed a review on [redacted] and since my original goal was to have the warranties reinstated, although it is not for the period of 10 years as they have stated in their response I find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.
Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Rather than honor what was fair and after knowing that I had reviewed their company negatively they decided to cancel my order without approval even after already charging the total fee for the refrigerator to their credit card company which I owed.

Upon reviewing the complaint , our records indicate we have emailed the customer RA information to return the bench for Full credit .we understand the customer's concern about the shipping charges ,as a courtesy we are willing to offer $30 discount so the customer keep the product or sell it as he...

mention on [redacted] .please advise if we should process and credit the $30 discount .?

We do understand your frustrations and do want to resolve this matter as soon as possible, The RMA was issued and a return period has been provided, if you need us to extend the return period, we can do that as well as a courtesy. We do however see that there was a part that was shipped and has...

already arrived at your premises as of yesterday. If the part is in good condition, please contact us as soon as possible and we will schedule the technician to install it for you. As for why a replacement is not due, that is because the unit is not deemed as defective by Samsung. Regardless of whom caused the defect/damage, we had offered to procure manufacturer certified technicians to bring it back to factory condition, as new appliances are also protected by the [redacted] such that, if in case an unit under full warranty is noted as damaged by the consumer, the provider of the warranty must permit the consumer to elect either a refund or a replacement, after a reasonable number of repair attempts. In this case, it is three attempts. Support is constantly being sent, we will still provide you with the 3 year full parts and labor warranty as [redacted] has previously promised, but instead increase it to a 5 year for the inconveniences in this matter, to assure you that your unit is not defective, and will be guaranteed working order for the next six years.

Worst seller ever on [redacted]. These guys have poor customer service and are completely untrustworthy. I asked to cancel my order because it was the wrong size within 24 hours of my order. "Magically," my order delivery date speeds up and they send me a response saying it has already been shipped. However, they said if I wanted to return it now, it would cost an arm and a leg because I would be responsible for the shipping of the fridge in both directions (essentially making the return a poison pill). If they really had shipped it, I would have received the order by now. Of course, the delivery date came and went and the product still isn't here. Probably because it wasn't ever shipped...all part of their evil plan to take advantage of people. Terrible company. Don't ever do business with them!!! These guys have a bad reputation online. Google them, see their 1.5 star [redacted] rating, see the complaints on the Revdex.com and [redacted] sites, read for yourself! Stay away from these guys. You've been warned.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by AppliancesConnection.com regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:...

Appliances Connection said their installer had notes written that they installed everything as ordered and removed all cardboard.  My mom's paperwork doesn't have any of this documented and she would have initialed each line item b/c she's very detailed! Their [redacted] (social media) customer service person contacted me and said they'd get back to me.  No response yet and it's been about 3 weeks.
If an installer writes additional notes onto paperwork, they should provide the exact copy to the customer using carbon paper or a copy machine. It's too easy for the installer to write notes after the fact and say the customer has signed.  Also v suspicious that the notes are exactly what we've complained about.  If one pays for white glove service, it's not likely that the person would write that the 'cardboard was removed from property' as that seems obvious.
My poor mom had to lug all that cardboard downstairs by herself and we had to pay for someone to install the ice maker and change the door.

The customer stated that the driver told him to "sign fully not inspected" and that the procedure is okay by the store's policy. is incorrect we had sent multiple emails on different occasion during the process and prior to delivery stressing the fact of inspecting the product while the driver still present , the customer didn't mention that he moved three heavy boxes to the second floor, which led the shipping company to believe the damage occurred while the product at the customer's location ,we have worked with the customer to resolve the issue to his satisfaction we have requested FULL credit but neither the shipping company nor the manufacturer held liable for the damage happened at the customer's house , the customer sent us photos of the bed indicating the bed was installed and used , the customer never sent us any invoices for the repair and we don't know who performed the repair , nevertheless in an effort to resolve this ongoing issue we have offered 60% discount for the damages , we have yet to hear the customer acceptance of this offer .

Hello,   Please be advised that we have come into an agreement with our customer and offered the customer 50% discount to keep the merchandise received ASIS , our customer accepted our offer and the refund was issued on 06/**/2016.   Kindly ,update your records and close the case.

According to our records this order has been cancelled and full refund has been issued NOT a penny less.
We do apologize for any inconvenience this may...

have caused, kindly update your records and close the case.

Lawsuit waiting to happen!!! Canceled my order without telling me a month after we placed the order. Lied and said we threatened to call the credit card company after they saw we made a complaint with the Revdex.com. Gave us a full refund after calling them on multiple lies. VERY rude and dishonest people. Case closed and letting everyone we know what kind of business this is.

Good price. Prompt service on great product!

We are very pleased with our new Loveseat recently purchased from Appliances Connection. The price was significantly less than we would have paid for the same loveseat at our local furniture store and we even gave them a chance to match the price. The free in-home delivery was surprisingly speedy and handled very professionally by your contracted shipping company. Thank you for your excellent service and we look forward to doing business with your company again in the future.

They are probably the worst of the worst I have dealt with my entire life. Never order from them.
I ordered a Viking Cooktop on March **, 2015. 5 weeks later , after so many followup calls they sent me a cooktop which didn't work. I called the Viking Tech and he mentioned that AC sent me LP version of the cooktop. I wanted them to swap out with Natural gas version but they said they wont do that because I opened it. They did nothing to correct their mistake and after breaking my head and wasting a lot of time they said they can send me a Natural gas conversion kit and the Part number is [redacted].
After waiting for few more weeks I get a mail that part won't ship until another 30 days as its not available. I just took the part number from them and they agreed to pay me the cost.
When I got the part from local store and tried installing it the orifice sizes were all wrong. I called Viking and they told me the Correct part number would be [redacted]. They haven't paid for the part and now its wrong part ($110 part). I am so fed up and its in first week of July I still don't have my cooktop working.
I have wasted so many hours dealing with these unresonable and irresponsible and totally useless company. Please avoid them at all costs.
