warranty decisions are made by the store that sold the product in question. It
states in the warranty booklet Ms. [redacted] should have received with her
furniture, “If a problem should arise which you feel is covered by our Limited
Warranties, contact the Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. authorized retailer
from whom you purchased your furniture.”
I took the liberty of
forwarding the information provided by the Revdex.com to the corporate office for the [redacted]
store, along with a request for them to investigate this matter further and
contact Ms. [redacted] to discuss her options.

warranty claims at the retail level. It states in the Claim Procedure section
of the warranty booklet Mr. [redacted] should have received with his furniture,
“If a problem should arise which you feel is covered by our Limited Warranties,
contact the Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. authorized retailer from whom you
purchased your furniture.”
I took the liberty of
forwarding the information provided by the Revdex.com to the Ashley Marketing
Specialist who works with the Exchanges. The Marketing Specialist will assist
store management with this claim and will instruct them to contact Mr. [redacted]

[redacted]’s claim, Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. sent a third party repair
service (U.S. Quality Furniture Service) to complete an inspection of Ms.
[redacted]’s furniture. The technician reports that the furniture does not show any
signs of manufacturing or workmanship defects, therefore the issues Ms. [redacted] has
are not covered under Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. Limited warranties. This
was explained in a letter that was sent to Ms. [redacted].
 
We are very sorry we are
unable to assist Ms. [redacted] any further with her concerns.

We assert again and for the last time that individual stores do not create the Ashley contracts.  Ashley headquarters are responsible to ensure that the individual stores share information about the toxic products that are in and placed on the furniture. We are prepared to take this further legally. The contracts, nor did any Ashley material, state that there were toxins in or on the sectional. We suggest that the headquarters visit with the individual store themselves, verify that no information was given to us discussing the toxins found in and  on the sectional, refund our money in full and remove the sofa from our home.

This was not completely true!  They called from a local store and said they could come out, I was at work when I received the call, coming out that day was never mentioned by the caller, however they asked if they could schedule another day, I looked at my work schedule and other appointments and said I had a complete clear scedule on Wedesday, so I do not appreciate lies being told especially from someone who never spoke to me personally.   I again later on that day contacted by the same person from a local store saying rather than them come out they would rather offer me a full refund, which yes would be great, but given that the hoildays are approaching this would leave me with nothing to sit on, and the man I spoke to agreed with me that it would not be a nice situation to be in over the holidays so I asked them if they could replace the sofas or given the condition of the sofas that I received and the comments from the person I spoke to at [redacted] furnitre who told me that they could not gurantee that the sofas would not be in the same condition if re - ordered tells me there is no quality control and are selling seconds as new at a new price.  The ,man who called me totally agreed with me and agreed that the price should reflect the items.  He understood the circumstances I am due to the this, I had given my sofas away the day before the delivery of the new ones, it took me severral months to find the color and size that would fit my place.  So I want a replacement, that is fully inspected before delivery and gurantee they will not scratch and mark my wooden floors as I have just had them re-waxed by the landlord, or I would like the price adjusted to match the condition of the items.
