We are good loyal customers that always pay our monthly bill on time We have never asked you for anything other than what we pay for each month....only this month on 8/and 8/you did not deliver....on what we paid for....and it caused us significant financial loss....as well as extreme frustration, anxiety and severe headaches!!!
We respectfully request a fair and reasonable compensation credit of $(our loss is more than this but we are trying to be fair about it) to our Cable One Internet account for the following reason(s):
Your Internet outage that started in the AM of 8/caused nothing but chaos and financial loss for us My husband works from home (this requires Internet service), and he does NOT get paid for Internet down time This is our ONLY source of income

After recently increasing speeds to the plans, without warning the company had increased prices on existing servicesAlthough tolerable, they also seem to be fabricating information with data caps that were not disclosed upon purchaseFriends and family have come across a coherent problem recently where we are suddenly told through our usage that we have reached data caps and would be "forced" into paying a higher tier plan from a payment that is automatically drafted from my account with no disclosure or mailing agreement to do suchThrough our month to month usage we have suddenly come to realize that we are being forced into higher tiers because of these data caps due to monopolized area exclusiveness, I've also had the service for nearly a year without changing my day to day practices and now suddenly and consecutively seem to be experiencing data cap issues, even upon decreased usageUpon calling them as if to set up new service we were presented with information

We moved to a new house over months ago, and when they set up our internet they left a cable across different backyards and told us they would be back to fix itThey didn't show up later (which they made it sound) and so we called themThey then gave us a different number for the local branchThey told us it would be 6-WEEKS but they put us in the listweeks later still not fixedWe repeatedly call that number and never get an answerFinally we call corporate, and they told us that that information we were given was wrong and because of the time of year it would be another MONTHS before they could do it but we are at the front of the listThose months pass and nothing happensCall again oh we just need to put you on our work order, it will be doneAnother months later nothingCall again and they tell us oh we have different computer programs, I only see it in oneI will fix it and get the work order approved because it is burying the cableI will make more of your sprinklers, Someone from the local area will call you and set up an appointmentdays later we wake up to find a sorry we missed you note on our doorThe issue with this is 1) they never called to set up an appointment like they said they would and 2) we WERE home, meaning they never rang the doorbell (our dogs bark like mad every time it goes off, we can't miss it)So I call back and make them schedule me an appointment, but they only do all day appointments 8am-7pmSo I have to drop everything and wait all day, and I had a sick dog whose vet appointment I had to push to the next dayI wait all day ( I left my back gate open for easy access) and no one ever comes to my doorWe are on a corner lot, so there is a side of the house I cannot seeI went to close the back gate for a second (to let my dogs out) and noticed a cable one truck on that side of the house, so in effort not to get in the way, I leave the gate open and leash my dog and take her out front insteadBefore we make it back inside the house the truck leaves and I never saw anyone get outCable one does a lot in my area, so I thought maybe it was at a neighbors or something and continue waiting ALL day for someone else to show up and no one didWe call them AGAIN and asked what happenedApparently they cancelled my appointment without notifying me (again I had other things to do) because they have to go through a different agency, they same one from the beginning that lied to us and then quit answering our callsSo needless to say, we have been pulled around in a giant circle and are very frustratedI wouldn't recommended cable one to anyone if you can avoid them (because of our rural location we cannot)

The data caps are ridiculousAny one who uses their supposedly fast internet will go over data capsThen they force you to upgrade your service and not only is it much more you will still go over the caps

The company internet data usage is controlled by themIt did not reflect correctly my actual internet usageThere were multiple instances the internet usage was bumped up a tier, so that the business can upsale a high tier data plan, which in turn to boost their revenue/incomeWith the overusage, the internet bill will go up

My problem is cable one is very dishonestCable one wants to charge me for their modem because they told me that the label would not re-stick but of course it did re-stick to the bottom of the modemI was told I could take the label by one of their techs and put it where it would be convenient for me of course they said that's not so just like the label would not re-stick but the label is on there secure now by just sticking the label back on without adding any other adhesive and they know that modem came from my house with that labelThey are doing this because I just disconnected my service from Cable one Cable one is very dishonest and should not be trusted at allI just want to get my refund and return their modem but the local office in Pocatello, ID has made that impossible
