I am rejecting this response because: Chris never addressed the fact that their own rep begged me to not cancel and in return, promised me two specific things - delivery first thing in the morning since he knew it was important to me it go out that same same day as they advertised on their website at 1:in the afternoon; and secondly they would UPGRADE one level making it PREMIUM The fact that the arrangement failed to contain the extra flowers as well as failed to meet the iconic compact round shape wasn't my biggest complaint, it was an additional note but not to take away from the first two issues those being time of next day delivery and size was promised to be upgraded When I asked them about these two issues, they wouldn't acknowledge the second delay and only stated they didn't see anywhere in their notes it was to be upgraded I told the rep to look on the notes, to ask the agent of record who had solidified my order and that to me, that was the deciding factor to NOT CANCEL THE ORDER ALTOGETHERSo I fail to see that they honored our agreement at all What about THEIR PROMISE ON THE TIME, which they promised would be FIRST THING by 10:a.m., which ended up to be p.m., without an explanation to me or an apology to the recipient ALSO, they admitted the size delivered to the recipient got a DELUXE size and disregarded and wouldn't even discuss the possibility of their rep promising it to save the sale? I am the CUSTOMER, and I, THE CUSTOMER AM NOT SATISFIED with any part of this transaction Promises by one rep, denial by another; product discrepancy in shape and size, and I was actually accused that I "should have known better than to think it could be delivered same day even though my order concluded about 1: The best they could do was offer me less than $as a refund on a $sale plus give me 20% off my next purchase! What a total insult to any customer
I spoke to the [redacted] the day that I made the complaint to you and my credit card company Ava's flowers staff refused to speak with me They sent me insane e mails regarding this, are not disputing my complaint with the credit card company Plus I just got off the phone with Amy at the [redacted] Steak house, I just got off the phone with Amy at the [redacted] and she said that their response is a blatant lie There is not Patricia working there, nothing was delivered for [redacted] and the [redacted] from me.This company was so God awful on the phone when I was trying to track the arrangement They hung up on me at least times, or would transfer me to a message that said I had to schedule my inquiry that no one could speak to me I received several illiterate e mails stating that they have no proof of delivery except that it was delivered but no information was available.Then I received an e mail stating that there were sorry that the arrangement never made it and they wanted me to fill out a internal complaint form, and finally they sent me an e mail inviting me to become a member of the Ava's flower club They advertised as a local [redacted] florist In reality they are a call center in Mahwah My real anger is with myself that I did not read all of the bad yelp reviews

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I paid over $for a horrible arrangrment that was not what I chose on their websiteThe recipient of the flowers was embarrassed to sent them back as they thought I would be upset, even though they agreed that what they received was nothing like what I paid forThey offered me a $store credit which I refused because I would never give this company my business ever sgain, and the $credit to my account is not acceptable what was delivered were no where near worth $97, so I am requesting half my money backI believe that is very fair Thank you Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: First of all, I only ordered ONE (1) basket which was supposed to contain both girl AND boy itemsI don't know why they sent two! The family in [redacted] WAS AT HOME waiting for the delivery at pm that day and NO ONE came to the door, rang the bell, or made their presence known They have no porch, only a mud room, which I told them they could leave it in there So the florists facts are incorrect And no one ever called me to tell me that the delivery was "so-called" attempted on 3/25/15, as I was the one who called them after finding out it never came Secondly, the next day attempt was NOT at pm as stated, as I was on the phone with the manager " [redacted] " at that time asking where the delivery isI asked if they could find out where the driver was, and they said they didn't know They had no information to give me other than "it is on the truck" When I asked for his full name, he told me he did not have to give it to meHe was rude and not accommodating He also hung up on me In actuality, The baskets came at 2:pm according to Angela who accepted them And as far as the other floral arrangement sent to " [redacted] ", it turned out to be another florist who mis-delivered it, so disregard that statement) I also have a picture on my phone of the contents of the basket, and it shows the broken toy (sent to me approxminafter delivery) I was very stressed out all day hoping this delivery would get there at all

I am rejecting this response because: I do not agree with a resolution of a $credit when you are in the business of delivery for special occasions and fail to deliver in a timely mannerWhen I ordered online specificly from a local florist in the city that my mom resides in it was specificly to avoid any delay in delivery timeAlso the fact that website is deceiving in the sense that you think your ordering local when in fact certain orders are outsourced to an affiliate in New Jersey of all placesMakes no sense what so everAn apology phone call to the recipient was offered which is not what I want to hear when all I want is for the delivery to reach its destination when I payed a pretty penny just to have someone get it there and surprise my family memberI was told that a full refund would be possible but only if I was to ask the recipient to reject the delivery at arrivalWell who would want to ask their loved one to reject a delivery of flowers that was meant to put a smile on their face on their special day? My name is Chris with Avas Flowers customer service management and I am very sorry there was such trouble with thisOur records indicate that this order was placed by you on the web with the following special instructions entered: "If not home please leave on side door steps." This is not our delivery policy, but we will do so if instructed to do so The local designer has confirmed that was done as requested
I am rejecting this response because: As described to Avas in each of my four phone calls, the recipient was home every moment from Friday evening 6/19/until the present She is recovering from foot surgery and has a home health aid there as well This is a single family home in safe neighborhood with a very clear front door It is an square foot cottage There is no way they would not have heard FedEx arrive The are a few other cottages on the same culdesac, but all the neighbors know one another and would have brought the flowers to Susan if they were left at a home nearby When I apologized to my friend that the flowers did not arrive, she noted that someone had tried to send her flowers via Avas in the past and they never got there
I am rejecting this response because my account still does not reflect the credit that was supposedly processed last week I have not experienced this in the past with my bank so clearly the vendor is STILL HOLDING MY MONEY
