I plan to use it with my iPhone X encased in the Otterbox DefenderWill be totally stoked if it charges through that “thick skin.” If not, “f”-it, will use it as a backup battery anyway w/o the wireless chargingI believe that Apple is recommending a Belkin or Mophie QI charger, but hey, why not...$10! Can’t have too many batteries for other stuff like Bluetooth headphones and speakers!
UPDATE, 11.18.17: Yes it works wellI charged the unit overnightUnplugged it this morningTonight I pushed the Sony’s button and immediately set the iPhone X on it (while still in it’s Otterbox Defender minus the piece with the clip) and the LED instantly changed from red to blue! The lightning bolt symbol also was displayed on the X! I’m stoked! I was hoping that it worked and it does! I’m a newbie to QI so this is thrilling to me, and I’m not sure how it could be betterIt was my pre-“Black Friday” purchase - $total! Very happy with this! Go get one!

Very disappointing I ordered a samsung vrheadset It came with the main device but no co er for the phone to be mountedNo head strap or usb c cables or adapterThe product was useless
