I have been with Ace for several years now and was extremely disappointed with how their customer service has declined My review will be aimed at their lack of knowledge about their appointments and clients, as well as the fact that they are unreliable with returning calls as promised I had received an email on Sunday stating I had an appointment Monday morning Since we had been waiting on a part to arrive to fix one of our three air conditioners, I assumed it was for that So my husband and I scrambled to see who could take the day off with such short notice So, my husband stayed home and on Monday morning I called them to confirm the appointment At 8am they told me I couldn't get an update since the rest of the customer service department doesn't come in until 7am, when I informed them that it was well past that time, they said they would give me a call back Never received that call So, I called on my lunch break and the lady confirmed that our appointment was between 11am and 1pm I asked to speak to a supervisor, but was told they were in a meeting By 3:30pm they still had not arrived, so I called my technician with no response and then called the office back I was told I still couldn't speak with a supervisor because they were in a meeting and was promised a return call Later that evening my technician returned my call and said we were never scheduled for that day and that the part was not even in yet I explained the issue with the email and he said he'd look into it So, several days go by and I get another email (same one!) that said they would be there between and 11am I called to confirm and was told it was in fact scheduled and I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told they were in a meeting and were unavailable So, I requested to speak with who ever their boss was (the supervisors) since they were always in meetings, and that I'd wait until they were available A few minutes later, Becky picked up the phone and said she was a supervisor I explained my concerns and she asked me what it was that I wanted her to do about it...I explained that a little remorse would be nice since my husband stayed home from work for no reason after we paid them 3k to take care of our AC problem and then never received a call back, despite leaving several requests for a call back She said she was sorry and that she would rectify the issue and use this example for training purposes There has been no rectification I realized that there was no remorse or ownership of their error or recognition of their inadequate customer service I won't be using them anymore and making sure any of my neighbors who are looking for this service don't use them due to this and could not be more disappointed in how it was handled The frustration it has caused is beyond measure and unnecessary Since I was on hold and listened to their advertising of A rating with the Revdex.com, I decided to make it known some of the issues we had

Patrick C [redacted] was honest, professional, and pleasant as a consumer you can not expect more yet he added his tech knowledge to help in my decisions

We have been using Ace Air for ten years and are completely happy with their serviceAll the technicians that have hepled us were well trained and very friendly I would highly recommend them to my friends

Tyler was great Arrived on time, very pleasant, and patiently answered all of my questions Very knowledgeable

ACE acquired [redacted] In their first call, they informed us about the acquisition and said that all contract with [redacted] will be honored by ACE now onwards, as is the case with any acquisition They performed the first service per the agreement but now they are asking $for the next service

My AC system stopped working and called the ACE Home Services company to check my AC system they send a technician name Brain M [redacted] to check and they said the charge will be $just to find out what is the problem but when the Brain check the system he said the AC Condenser cap is bad he need to change it and the cost will be $mins the diagnostic charge which is $ I told him we have home warranty and he said we don't deal with home warranty and I said fine I will wait until the home warranty technician shthen he said the prices I gave you set up by the company but I have the part your AC need in my track for $and your system will work perfect but you have to pay me cash, I said fine I went to the bank to get cash and when I come back he said he already install the part (cap) and let me check your fer-ion on the system and then he said the fer-ion is too low, I asked him how much will cost that? , he said $but your AC will work, and I said I will wait for

Excellent sevice Brian was prompt and professional Had ACE come out for a pre-summer inspection of my AC unit Checked it over and we reviewed my options Highly recommend this service

On Saturday Jan 7th, my water softener unit sprung a leakI usually use Parker & Sons for my plumbing needs but they couldn't see me til MondayI called around and Ace Home Services was available that same day Two servicemen, Jeremy and Charles showed upMy water softener unit was over years old so they claimed that there were no parts to be found to make a repairThey tried to sell me a $water softener filtration unit that I didn't need They also claimed that they couldn't bypass the unit without drilling holes in my wall I suspect that they trying to take advantage of me being a female owner of a large home who has no plumbing knowledge They charged me $for the service call Luckily a friend recommended Biltmore Plumbing who gave me the option of replacing the defective part (apparently the parts are compatible) or replacing the unit for a very reasonable feeHe also told me that the unit could have been bypassed by simply turning off a valve So be very careful when dealing with this company and do your research!

Looking for an air-conditioning company to repair your unit in 110+ weather is a difficult task ACE Home Services is extremely professional, a company based upon integrity and a resource I am forever grateful to find Mark P [redacted] is a 'senior tech' and was definitely more helpful than any a/c tech I had out over the past six weeks from the three companies I used Not only was nothing in need of replacement as I had been advised by the other companies, he took the time to give me pointers for more efficient use Definitely worth the $charge to diagnose the issues or lack there of in our case I took extra cards to give to our friends ACE is forever a trusted home repair company for us, our friends and relatives!!!

I purchased a new air conditioner on June 21, at approx4:PM from technician Ryan G [redacted] who had informed me that my present air conditioner was on its last leg He typed all the pertinent information into his tablet and had me electronically sign He explained each area where I signed Upon leaving he informed me that he had emailed me the paperwork When it arrived I read it over Seeing that I was able to cancel the purchase within e days, I did so around noon June 22, by phone and by sending letter via email Later that afternoon Ace called and informed me that I owed them $for a 15% restock fee I argued and asked them to have the Director call me Did not happen I called the tech and asked why he did not disclose the day period or the restock fee His response was he did not feel it was necessary Their explanation for the restock fee was they would be charged that much from the manufacture to return it

After being awakened Saturday @ 4:30am on due to excessive heat, I checked a few things out and found my1-1/yr old AC unit was not coolingI made a call to ACE HOME SERVICES around 5:15am and told the operator of the problem At about 8am I received a call from ACE and was told a technician would be here between 9am 11amAt 8:30am I received a call the technician was on his way Jim arrived a few minutes later, and found we had burst a capacitor which he repaired in short order I'm very happy with the service of reporting the problem and Jim was great in solving the problem

CUSTOMER: [redacted] ***FACTS:  Aug 13, 2015: entered into month air conditioner maintenance contractApril I,2016: company came and checked a/c and said it was okay.but said we needed the air duck cleanedPaid $and they cleaned them on April4,Found out by accident that they did not do what they charged us for so we received a $rebateTheir machine gouged a dining chair and cut the leather on the chair April 23, 2016: Came to house and checked a/c due to me calling saying that it didn't sound right when it startedCould not find anything wrong, but after talking a while, went back to a/c and finally said that we needed a new fan motor and thermostat at a cost of around $1, Did not have them do thatMay found that they had not cleaned the ducts properly by a company representative and he inspected the damaged chairUsed a wire brush on chair and made the cut worse,S.May 9,2016: Cleaned air duct

AC unit was installed on 6-4-no problems with installation or the folks doing the workA+ Group Our contract states that we will get our garage attic access repaired as part of the purchase of the new AC unit weeks and can't seem to get anyone to either call us or respond with anything other than we'll call you back

Francisco is an excellent professionally trained technician repairing our air condition in a very timely manner ACE Home Services should be proude of having such an employee

Ace Air representative, Ryan Grimes, arrived at my home in Sun City yesterday at approximately 3-30pm to inspect my air conditioner unit and advise what replacements it may or may not needit was determined, by myself, that the cost of the replacements would be a waste of monies and after speaking with Mr Grimes he convinced me the best method would be to install a new unitMr Grimes was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions; he even took the time to explain "air flow" to meI give this young man, MrRyan Grimes< an outstanding rating BettyMay

On the hottest day of 2014, my year-old Carrier A/C system failedI called ACEminutes later Tim arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem to a blown start-run capacitor for the condenser, which he replaced in a few minutesHe said the fan motor is getting old and drawing excessive current and would probably not last much longerBeing a mechanical engineer, I knew what he was saying was honestThat impressed meHis professional demeanor caused me to invite him to tell me about a new Carrier heating-cooling systemI was impressed with his presentationHe gave me his cardI said I would call him when the time was right Two years later, again on the hottest day of 2016, with the fan making sounds of ‘help’, the capacitor blew againI grabbed Tim’s card and called himHe immediately answered saying “Tim of Ace Home Services”That really impressed meI told Tim that the time was right and I wanted to purchase a new Carrier systemHe arrived within an hourHaving done my research, I chose a more efficient SEER Carrier systemThe system was scheduled to be installed a couple days later on Saturday, July 2, during the holiday weekend The installation crew (Justin & Trey) arrived on time at AM in an attractive ACE van with trailerThey worked diligently for hours with no stop for lunch (very impressive)They were respectful and answered all of my questionsBy PM the cool was flowing from the new unitThey gave me a tutorial using the new digital, programmable thermostatI asked them to test the gas furnace to make sure it was also working properlyThe heat worked well In the coming days I fell in love with the new systemThe much larger and stylish condenser unit outside is super quiet in comparison to the old oneThe electronic controlled Xramping blower motor in the attic is wonderfulInstead of the old whine when the fan turned on, I hear a slow transition from zero to full speedIts almost unnoticeableThe digital programmable thermostat keeps the temp perfectly controlled within a half degree at all timesIts a great improvement over the old several degree temp cycle swing of too warm-too coolMost of all, I love the energy efficiency of the SEER systemBeing an SRP Time-of-Use customer, I monitor my energy consumption by the hourThe new system is saving about 15% in energy cost during the hot summer months over my old SEER system, just like Tim said it would In conclusion, the quality of installation, system performance, quietness, temperature control are all excellentI have become an ACE believer

I was very much delighted with Charles B He came to my house to inspect my air conditioner that [redacted] Air had installed about a year ago He was very helpful, polite, and friendly - and made several recommendations that I could use to my benefit I hope he will be able to come for my services again

Don't use these guysI wouldn't trust them Service tech sold me a new high efficiency unit because my older heat pump fan wasn't workingHe said, if it was possible to fix, it would be at least $5K because it was old(So am I.) After changing the filter and allowing to unfreeze the lines, my old unit worked fineI tried to cancel, but was advised that to cancel the order would be a $restocking feeWhat a rip off Once you are hooked, they don't want to let you off.....even if they lied to get you to purchase in the first placeNot my idea of a trustworthy company

I'm sorry but it was really difficult to just choose ONE complaint type I purchased my unit new through Ace Air in late The gentleman that I met first with, I was totally confident with! To my misfortune he personally didn't do the work and is no longer with the company! My profession as an airline pilot for over thirty years has taught me to try and do everything I can in advance so as not to incur a problem! We purchased an additional eight years service contract on top of our 10/10/10/warranty! My wife and I both like our house cool! With this in mind we purchased a slightly oversized and very efficient unitDon ( our original salesman ) suggested adding an additional return and several new registersGreat advice but again he didn't do the work! Over time we purchased EVERYTHING each technician suggested including more attic insulationOver the past four years my kWh usage increased dramatically ! Ace air could find no problems although my unit ran continuously!

Ace Home Services has serviced my home Carrier HVAC system for the past six yearsThis week after years the compressor decided that it had enough of life in the desertA big thank you to Marc, Joe, and Wyatt for getting and installing a new Carrier system at a competitive price (Considering it is August)
