Bought a 10 year service contract. They will call and remind you to schedule service if you forget (I do). They are prompt to come out, or will call if they get delayed on another call. Excellent service and don't press needles repairs on you. Recommend things you can do to keep things running smoothly.

For the second year in a row ACE Home Service called the day of my appointment to reschedule. This time the reason was some of their technicians requested time off. I scheduled a vacation day in order to be home for the appointment. When I spoke to the representative about needing a tech to come out same day she said there was nothing they could do except to reschedule. I chose not to reschedule and will never use them again.

Annual check of the air conditioning unit yesterday was completed satisfactorily The Ace serviceman explained all the inspection requirements and findings He added very helpful recommendations for future maintenance of the unitSigned a seven-year annual maintenance agreementThe Ace serviceman was professional, respectful, and knowledgeable

I can't say enough about the service I received from Ace Home Service Had problems with my carrier ac Tech# [redacted] Tim was greatHe worked very hard to solve the problems with the unitI would recommend this company to everyone with a heating or air problem

Ace Homes Services acquired the previous company I used for my A/C service The service tech that came out to my home was Skylar Lundburg He was very polite and actually explained a lot about my unit that no other service tech took the time to do before I am very thankful for his help and will definitely be continue to use Ace Home Services for my annual A/C service

A representative arrived for regular HVAC check and service Found that both of my HVAC systems were fine and cleaned outside coils Before leaving he informed me that one of them is not designed to heat as a hear pump and only heats with electric heat strips., the other one is old but runs good Here is a direct quote from the service form: "When arriving I verified paperwork and cycled both systems to heat I got decent temperature split and began checking through the heaters One system is a heat pump and the newer system is heat strips Heat strips working fine I then checked heat pump and even though it's older it's running as Good as it can." A week later the outside fan on the second system stops working and it behaves strangely I call another company and schedule a visit That representative find: that the first heat pump needs a new safety switch, replaces it, and has it set to work (both while heating or while cooling) as a heat pump, instead of using its emergency heat strips replaces a bad condenser (reading with rating 18.6) on the second unit You would be better off using a company that can tell a heat pump when one sees one (and that is capable of detecting a bad condenser)

Had our unit installed in and, at the time, bought the extended warranty for years Last year, decided to buy a year maintenance contract Called them out at the beginning of May, 2017, for the yearly maintenance so the unit wouldn't take a poop on the hottest day of the year Everything was deemed to be OK On the hottest day of the year, June 19th, the unit took a poop Called to have someone come out, and the customer service person on the phone tried to convince me that the unit was working OK I told him the unit definitely was not working properly, so a tech was scheduled to come out The tech arrived during the time I was told he would, and the cause of my problem was a burnt out motor Since I had the extended warranty, there would be no charge for the part itself The tech proceeded to tell me that he did not have the factory part of his truck, and would put a substitute motor on for the evening and come back the next day to install the factory motor For this, I was going to be charged an extra hours worth of labor for him to do this I explained to him that it was not my fault he did not have the proper motor on his truck, and I should not be charged the extra hour He said that he would need to drive to the warehouse to pick up the motor, drive back to my house, and install the proper motor (a minute job) When I said again that it wasn't my fault he didn't carry factory parts on his truck, he laughed and said it I wanted to go without A/C that night, he wouldn't put the substitute motor on and would just charge me for the hour the next day It was degrees that day, I'm in my seventies, and I have a year old dog I didn't think it was a reasonable solution, so I didn't take him up on his offer He returned the next day and did install the factory motor For this service, I was charged a total of hours of service I called the office days later to complain about the double charge, and was told that Becky was not available, but would call me back I waited a week with no call from Becky, even thou I called everyday trying to get her to listen to my concerns The following week, after getting the run around and no phone call, I called and stayed on the line for minutes until Becky took my phone call I explained my reluctance to pay a second labor charge for the tech to drive around town picking up a part that should have been on his truck I'm self-employed, and I don't charge my clients to drive around town; they're charged when I show up to provide the service to them She stated that factory warrantied parts are NEVER on the tech trucks So why am I paying extra for an extended warranty if each time I have a problem, I will be charged a second hour of service to have the problem resolved? I also stated that installing the motor itself was a minute job She stated that their minimum labor charge is hour at $an hour Be grateful mechanics don't charge a minimum of an hour when a repair takes minutes or minutes to complete But even they don't charge $an hour for their services I thought I was doing the right thing by buying an extended warranty thru this company, but, in essence, will be penalized each time I need a warranty part replaced on my unit in the future if they continue to not carry factory warranty parts on their trucks Besides the lousy customer service and run around I received when I attempted to talk to the office manager about this issue, do not buy any additional contracts with this company unless you want to be taken advantage of and charged twice for their services

Ace Home Services has provided me with exceptional service, both for repairs and for maintenance

In January 2011, my wife and I bought a 9-year old home in MesaAce Home Services (formerly Ace Air Conditioning) called and talked us into having their maintenance tech clean and check out our ACAfter cleaning and inspecting our AC, he told us both compressors needed replacement and both ACs were at the end of their service lifeHe said we needed to replace them immediately to avoid major problems! An Ace sales rep called two days later and convinced us under high pressure that we should sign a 10-year maintenance contract, which would cover the current inspectionHe continued the high pressure to buy two new ACs Because of the replacement cost, we called for a second opinionThe second company said there were no problems with our ACs including the compressors I called the ACE Air office manager and complained about the high pressure to buy he service contract and to buy two new ACsI also told her the results of the second opinionI demanded cancellation of the maintenance contract and a refund of the unused moniesShe agreed to both demands, and said Ace Air would cancel the contract and refund the unused fundsI called back in two weeks and again four weeks later and she said the same thing, but still no checkI filed a Revdex.com complaint, but heard nothing! This morning, I received a robo call on my cell phone (which I understand is against the law) from Ace Home Services wanting to know if we needed AC serviceThe robo call ended by saying that if I did not want any more calls to provide my telephone number and state that I wanted no more callsI followed the directions recording my cell number and requesting for no more robo calls At approximately pm this evening, I received a call from a "live" Ace Home Services service center rep wanting to know if we needed AC serviceI condensed the above and told him to never call againI also told him I had left my number and requested no more calls, He said they don't monitored their voice mail very often! My wife and I renew our request to ACE to refund the monies from our cancelled service contract as promised by the Ace Air office manager in 2011!

I was out of town and old mother was at home by herselfI called with air condition issuesI was told they would charge $for diagnostics I asked and INSISTED repeatedly if it needs any repair please contact me so I wouldn't get surprised hundreds of dollars surprised chargesWhat do they do while I am not home and my elder mom is home!!!? They replace parts that I could have bought them from Gringer for $each which I have done that before myselfPlus he told me he put lbs of cooling agentAre you ready for this!!? They called me and gave a bill for $I freaked out, that was exactly what I didn't want them to doI asked why wasn't I told before the two cheap parts were put in!,,, no answerThe only thing the guy Named Francsico could tdo to tell me he talked to his manager and give me 35% discountInstalling $dollars worth off part and now they want $640.00!!! When I said I need to talk to his manager he went back home and threaten my elder

[redacted] is efficient, trustworthy and honest! I trust him to work on our air-con He always tells us "like it is"! I do not get that same feeling from many of the other service agents! My problem is not with the service fellows it is with the actual machine that was sold to us and installed in our home It is a LEMON and should be painted yellow! We have had so many extremely expensive repairs that we could have purchased a new machine twice over!!!!!!

My experience with ACE started off with an estimate for a new Air Conditioning unitRobert came out and had the estimate completed quickly as well as verified my financing optionsHe was very straight-forward and kind representative of the company who made sure I looked at the reasons for the new unit (roof) and showed me any issues with the ductingThe process was quick and easy with the unit being installed on the following business day (estimate was on a Saturday) My wife was home for the installation and explained ACE was able to remove, install the new unit, hood, and new thermostat in a good timeframe (hours)Overall, our experience with ACE was a positive one and we suggest their services to any homeowner looking for any Air Conditioning repair/maintenance

Dear word! Don't try to get anyone after hours to fix your unit! First time we had an issue was during the summer, soon after my father purchase a NEW unitIt was degrees during the day and that evening the unit stopped working! They had NO ONE to service the unit all nightThe house was degrees inside that night....They finally sent a tech to repair the unit the following day around 9am! Again, this week, the unit stopped workingNO heat in the house! Called in and the response was we will send a tech between and pm7:got a call, the tech was running into trouble and couldn't make itNO ONE is available to come out tonight and fix the unit Horrible customer service and no dependable after hours support other that an operator telling you someone will get back to you some time today Ugh.....Should have went with [redacted] !

Great experience. The service Tech Scott was professional, thorough, explained everything clearly, was polite and attentive to all of my questions.
