Great overall

Casey H*** from ACE Home Services came to my home to service my HVAC system on 9-16- On that day he found an issue with the air flow from the laundry room into the kitchen To resolve the air flow issue, he attempted to install a vent in the door separating the two rooms During his repair, he inadvertently cut the hole in the door at the top of the door instead of the bottom He took the door with him and said he would obtain a replacement and bring it back with the vent in the bottom of the door I have called the company numerous times to get my replacement door, but they have not provided it They have referred me to contractors who do not return my calls, and now the manager *** will not return my calls or send a replacement door

Paul Mis a very courteous and professional young man who took care of my plumbing situationHe is a young man that is on the up and up with Ace because of his concern for the customer's problem, concern for Ace as his employment and his ability to solve the situation and complete the problem with accuracyHe is an asset to ACE

Dependable service and knowledgeable ACE representatives We have a service contract with them and couldn't be more satisfied They call us when our annual check ups for AC and plumbing are due Easy to schedule appointmentsFriendly and great communicators

Electrics Steve was wonderfulWithout any pressure he explained the future benefit to add additional part to my air conditionerHe explain very simple and polite wayHe is definitely a big plus for that companyI am ver pleased with his workThank you

Ace always does a good job repairing or diagnosing our AC issues They arrive as promised and give excellent advice on how to solve a problem

Shane was great to work with, always kept me posted on all steps of installing a new unit in my rental unit

On the hottest day of 2014, my year-old Carrier A/C system failedI called ACEminutes later Tim arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem to a blown start-run capacitor for the condenser, which he replaced in a few minutesHe said the fan motor is getting old and drawing excessive current and would probably not last much longerBeing a mechanical engineer, I knew what he was saying was honestThat impressed meHis professional demeanor caused me to invite him to tell me about a new Carrier heating-cooling systemI was impressed with his presentationHe gave me his cardI said I would call him when the time was right
Two years later, again on the hottest day of 2016, with the fan making sounds of ‘help’, the capacitor blew againI grabbed Tim’s card and called himHe immediately answered saying “Tim of Ace Home Services”That really impressed meI told Tim that the time was right and I wanted to purchase a new Carrier systemHe arrived within an hourHaving done my research, I chose a more efficient SEER Carrier systemThe system was scheduled to be installed a couple days later on Saturday, July 2, during the holiday weekend
The installation crew (Justin & Trey) arrived on time at AM in an attractive ACE van with trailerThey worked diligently for hours with no stop for lunch (very impressive)They were respectful and answered all of my questionsBy PM the cool was flowing from the new unitThey gave me a tutorial using the new digital, programmable thermostatI asked them to test the gas furnace to make sure it was also working properlyThe heat worked well
In the coming days I fell in love with the new systemThe much larger and stylish condenser unit outside is super quiet in comparison to the old oneThe electronic controlled Xramping blower motor in the attic is wonderfulInstead of the old whine when the fan turned on, I hear a slow transition from zero to full speedIts almost unnoticeableThe digital programmable thermostat keeps the temp perfectly controlled within a half degree at all timesIts a great improvement over the old several degree temp cycle swing of too warm-too coolMost of all, I love the energy efficiency of the SEER systemBeing an SRP Time-of-Use customer, I monitor my energy consumption by the hourThe new system is saving about 15% in energy cost during the hot summer months over my old SEER system, just like Tim said it would
In conclusion, the quality of installation, system performance, quietness, temperature control are all excellentI have become an ACE believer

This year our experience was wonderful because the technician (Francisco Lopez) was absolutely wonderful He explained everything, asked if we had questions and finished the inspection quickly I hope we get him again next year

After being awakened Saturday @ 4:30am on due to excessive heat, I checked a few things out and found my1-1/yr old AC unit was not coolingI made a call to ACE HOME SERVICES around 5:15am and told the operator of the problem
At about 8am I received a call from ACE and was told a technician would be here between 9am 11amAt 8:30am I received a call the technician was on his way
Jim arrived a few minutes later, and found we had burst a capacitor which he repaired in short order
I'm very happy with the service of reporting the problem and Jim was great in solving the problem

Ace Home Services is refusing to honor their 10-year warranty installed on our roof after we purchased the homeThe contractor who subcontracted Ace had to withhold their payment for the unit until Ace returned to reinstall the unit correctly Now Ace is refusing to fix the unit indicating we did not fulfill their service contractWe never purchased a service contract with them due to a lack of an offer and the quality of service receivedWe were encouraged to reach out to Ace regarding their warranty on the air conditioning unit, but now we have to hire an attorney

Stuart, the tech from Ace Home Services, was a pleasure to have work on our placeHighly recommended and a super guy

The repairmen were very courteous and efficient

Mark was amazingI would like to have him service our A/c in the futureI feel like he is very honest and he really treated us wellWe have liked every technician with Ace and they have always been good to us but we really liked mark

I purchased an central air-conditioning system years ago from ACE It was sold with a year parts and labor warranty When purchased, there was no mention of any requirement to purchase a maintenance contract I called ACE when the system malfunctioned and they sent a technician to troubleshoot the problem When they found the problem, they told me that they would not fix it until we bought a year maintenance contract for about $ They said I would have to renew the maintenance contract after years to keep the warranty in force This maintenance contract was never mentioned when I paid over $for the equipment The end result was that ACE refused to fix the unit that was under warranty unless I paid for their maintenance contract This was simple extortion for ACE to demand a fee to honor the warranty that was given with the unit when I purchased it Buyer Be Ware!
This company will not honor their contracts and will do everything possible to extract additional money from you I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

Bad way to start a dayYou need a new Air Conditioner No one wants to accept this but when someone like Sky explains, with pictures it makes it easier to take He made sure we understood what was going on and what had happened over the past year to make this necessaryHe walked us through the process of what had happened (evidently there was evidence of a small fire), and everything was rusted and a mess(not his term) Being aware of the problems and the age of the unit we decided to purchase a unit from Ace Home Services Sky was helpful in seeing that we felt we were getting the best possible buy from Ace and with next day installation we are very pleased

Ace Home Services has provided me with exceptional service, both for repairs and for maintenance

Francisco L*** does work for usHe is always, professional, polite, courteous and has been a continued hire to check and fix our AC/Furnace system every year!!
We highly recommend him and his work!!

The guy that has serviced my unit for the past year, Jimmy, has always been kind and patient with all my questions I have never been pressured into getting the necessary items repaired despite my financial status
