AC died after yearsAHS came out to repair and we were told we needed a new unitNo high pressure sale tactics just here are your options and prices

I researched companies and manufactures to find Ace was top rated by Revdex.com and *** was also one of the best units in the industry with the best reputationThey boasted about the year parts, labor, and compressor warranty that also explained why their prices were higher than competitors I purchased a new *** through ACE on November ***,
I had my unit serviced times over the past years with of them being performed by *** *** *** ***I had a problem with my ac not blowing cold air on 5/**/Ace came to my house, told me I had a bad capacitor, was going to cost me $just for the part, and my warranty was not valid because I did not have ACE service my unit every year since purchaseI saved all my records and asked him to show me in the warranty fine print where it stated I had to have ACE service my unit annuallyHe couldn’tHowever, he said that was what he was told by the officeHe felt bad and was not going to charge me for the service callHe also said he would like to cut me a deal but can’t because the office said to charge full priceI was told the capacitor most likely overheated and blew due to dirty coilsAdditionally, he could not inspect the rest of the unit or clean anything and that I needed a separate appointment for that and would have to pay more for that as wellHe tried to sell me a maintenance plan tooI called to verify with ACE and spoke to Becky the office manager and she confirmed the year warranty was now null and void and they would not cover the costI argued with documents in hand and she said she would take it to her supervisors to see if they would cover the costsIn the mean time I need cold air so I paid the price and then researched the issueI called Becky back times with no answer or response still
I had *** come out 5/19/** and they inspected the unit and said it was in excellent conditionThe coils did not need cleaning inside or outThe Freon was good and temp was in the excellent rangeI called around and learned ACE technicians are “commission based” so they are like car salesmen coming to your houseNow I realize why the tech was telling me all his personal heartbreaking stories and how he was a survivorI was ripped off I also learned the capacitor most likely only cost at most $to $This company has no ethics, no honor, and as a vet that served during the first gulf war, I’m disgusted by the lack of integrity and representation of this company and the technician that came to my house
I will be filing a formal complaint with Revdex.com, ***, and will pepper the internet with my warnings and caution if you ever use ACE as a service companyThey did perform a beautiful job on the install, but did so with a hidden agenda to screw me over the next yearsI suspect from reading the other comments here on Revdex.com, ***, and *** *** that I was not the only one that fell for their story

Good experience with company and crewGood workmanship and no issues with AC/Heater replacement

The serviceman, Nick, was quick and thorough He explained what was done and the condition of all the things he reviewed and tested I was very satisfied

Scot knows our system inside and out and always is concern and does a very good job He goes out of his way to do the best anyone can Last year he spent several trips to correct others mistakes

Ace Home Services was by far the worst customer experience i've delt with to date I have been calling and waiting on promised return phone calls since March 10th All I want to know is what it would cost to get the repairs done that Patrick advised my tenant and not me the owner They should call this company Patrick's home services It's amazing how a tech can recommend service but the company not know how to price it out Patrick you should work for yourself however in not dealing with you I also could see how you may not survive corporate America See Ace just takes the grief off your hands from dissatisfied customers like myself Also Patrick you should learn something called privacy Not only will you potentially receive no service but you got guys like Patrick who know their not dealing with the homeowner and give all the information to the non owner So I take you blew me off to escape your screw up? Also the information you shared was from a previous home owner by the way let me say what that was In Ace said the unit needed complete replacement That never happened as it was untrue and it lasted another years So pardon me if I'm already quite puzzled by the previous diagnostic let alone the lack there of for myself this time around actually dealing with your company Either way you had business days to get me a quote I never said the services were not needed but I don't even know what services are being recommended Patrick's (Ace) home services is not in the business of completing each job effectively, ethically, or professionally Let's keep it real all company's have that one person like Patrick, heck we all may have been a Patrick So that's my experience wish all other consumers the best in their dealings as its time for me to move on with my AC needs and find a quality company

Very professional service, even checked the temperature going in to ac unit and temperature coming out at each room by the vent This was performed during a routine maintenance on ac unit, in plus years I never had a technician check the airflow thru out the house

FRANSISCO AND ZACHARY WERE EFFICIENT AND FIXED THE PROBLEM

Mike and Sergio went right to work on our projectThey were conscientious to keep work area clean and cleaned up completely after the jobThey let us know throughout the project where they were at and when it would be done

They do a very good job and are very professional They explain everything so you can actually know what they are doing They do not pressure you to buy any additional services, all they do is recommend things that may need to be done in the future

ACE Home Services has an excellent protocol for notifying their scheduled customers; and the technician was top-drawerI'm pleased this is the company who took over from my previous AC companyThese guys are the best, bar none!

I found this company over priced for Trane A/C repair by 30% over another Trane certified A/C I needed a new Fan Motor and Module which I was quoted $by *** *** ** but Ace Home Services quote was $ This was with a 10% part discount for having a service plan with themYeah, some discount They took over ** *** *** *** accounts, but it doesn't buy you much except free services two times a year If needed expensive repairs beware, and get a second quote on anything significant as I found Ace is very over priced!!! It cost me $service call to find this out I am not happy customer of Ace

I was out of town and old mother was at home by herselfI called with air condition issuesI was told they would charge $for diagnostics I asked and INSISTED repeatedly if it needs any repair please contact me so I wouldn't get surprised hundreds of dollars surprised chargesWhat do they do while I am not home and my elder mom is home!!!? They replace parts that I could have bought them from Gringer for $each which I have done that before myselfPlus he told me he put lbs of cooling agentAre you ready for this!!? They called me and gave a bill for $I freaked out, that was exactly what I didn't want them to doI asked why wasn't I told before the two cheap parts were put in!,,, no answerThe only thing the guy Named Francsico could tdo to tell me he talked to his manager and give me 35% discountInstalling $dollars worth off part and now they want $640.00!!! When I said I need to talk to his manager he went back home and threaten my elder

For the past three years I have used Ace Home Services for my a/c and plumbing inspections They are prompt, efficient, and knowledgeable I have followed all their recommendations and have had no issues with the a/c or the plumbing since inception

They purchased a service contract from the company that installed a new system at my homeI had a second maintenance contract on a separate unit not related to the installOne of the new units had a coil leakI was informed that it would take 10-days to get a new coil and labor to installThey recommended a new 10k system which they could have in hoursAnother company had the coil at my house in hours and installed for When I called ACE to schedule my preventive maintenance, they refused because I had a Home Depot systemI informed them that the 3rd unit was not a Home Depot unit and had years left, which they replied that since I had Home Depot units on property and didn't use them for repairs, they would not honor any of the maintenance contractsFrom their reviews, it looks like I dodged a bullet since they seem more interested in selling than maintenance and repair
