OUR ACE REP DID A GREAT JOB VERY QUICKLY AND ALL IS WORKING GREAT!

We had such a wonderful experience with ACE Home ServicesOur 17y/o AC unit was completely out and we couldn't afford a new oneI called ACE (had used them for service in 2012) and they came out the next day (Wed)They helped me get financing (we don't have great credit), and helped to rush everything throughI got approved on Thursday at 345p and ACE got me scheduled for Friday at 8a, on a holiday weekend! The installers that came out (Francisco and Matt) were awesomePolite, friendly, courteous, professional, cleanThey went to work right away, got it all up and running in 6hrs and cleaned up after themselvesThey were very thorough and organizedThe office staff are efficient, their follow up customer service is exceptionalThey called on TUE morning to schedule a f/u to ensure everything was as it should beThey came on time and at our convenienceWe are definitely life long customers

I took the day off for a scheduled appointment between and 1p on Friday I was excited to hear from them at 945a to tell me they would be here in minutesTwo hours later, I decided to call to find out what happened Oh there was an emergency that came up, we have someone e else coming At 1245p I received a call it will be another minutes to an hour No thank you Four hours of my off day, o thank you

I have an air conditioner service contract with this companyTheir technicians are always right on time, and are very knowledgeable about the serviceWe had a technician, Mark come out today, and he was greatHe explained everything, and even took pictures on his phone so we could see what he was talking about

In January 2011, my wife and I bought a 9-year old home in MesaAce Home Services (formerly Ace Air Conditioning) called and talked us into having their maintenance tech clean and check out our ACAfter cleaning and inspecting our AC, he told us both compressors needed replacement and both ACs were at the end of their service lifeHe said we needed to replace them immediately to avoid major problems! An Ace sales rep called two days later and convinced us under high pressure that we should sign a 10-year maintenance contract, which would cover the current inspectionHe continued the high pressure to buy two new ACs
Because of the replacement cost, we called for a second opinionThe second company said there were no problems with our ACs including the compressors
I called the ACE Air office manager and complained about the high pressure to buy he service contract and to buy two new ACsI also told her the results of the second opinionI demanded cancellation of the maintenance contract and a refund of the unused moniesShe agreed to both demands, and said Ace Air would cancel the contract and refund the unused fundsI called back in two weeks and again four weeks later and she said the same thing, but still no checkI filed a Revdex.com complaint, but heard nothing!
This morning, I received a robo call on my cell phone (which I understand is against the law) from Ace Home Services wanting to know if we needed AC serviceThe robo call ended by saying that if I did not want any more calls to provide my telephone number and state that I wanted no more callsI followed the directions recording my cell number and requesting for no more robo calls
At approximately pm this evening, I received a call from a "live" Ace Home Services service center rep wanting to know if we needed AC serviceI condensed the above and told him to never call againI also told him I had left my number and requested no more calls, He said they don't monitored their voice mail very often!
My wife and I renew our request to ACE to refund the monies from our cancelled service contract as promised by the Ace Air office manager in 2011!

The response to problems was great and fastThe only problem was with the original workmanship

Paul and Henry came out to provide an estimate for replacing water treatment equipment, were very helpful and knowledgableI am looking forward to reviewing ACE again after our work is completedToni Garcia was also very helpful and patient as we dealt with some logistical difficulties in implementation of our appoint that were entirely my fault

A representative arrived for regular HVAC check and service Found that both of my HVAC systems were fine and cleaned outside coils Before leaving he informed me that
one of them is not designed to heat as a hear pump and only heats with electric heat strips.,
the other one is old but runs good
Here is a direct quote from the service form:
"When arriving I verified paperwork and cycled both systems to heat I got decent temperature split and began checking through the heaters One system is a heat pump and the newer system is heat strips Heat strips working fine I then checked heat pump and even though it's older it's running as Good as it can."
A week later the outside fan on the second system stops working and it behaves strangely I call another company and schedule a visit That representative find:
that the first heat pump needs a new safety switch, replaces it, and has it set to work (both while heating or while cooling) as a heat pump, instead of using its emergency heat strips
replaces a bad condenser (reading with rating 18.6) on the second unit
You would be better off using a company that can tell a heat pump when one sees one (and that is capable of detecting a bad condenser)

Super fast response and remediation and repairs from water leak in kitchen under slateProfessional, extremely knowledgeable and cost was super deal for amount of work doneClaims adjuster was amazed and actually gave me more on my claim as he said “ there work saved us (insurance company) a lot of moneyAce also last year installed new AC units on mt home another great experienceHave them coming out this week for another project running gas line for cook topWill use them without hesitation

Nick is a very courteous and technically competetnt service technician He has good follskills and is very good at explaining any issues he finds

I am very satisfied with the work and and appreciated the professional work manship

Ace Home Services is refusing to honor their 10-year warranty installed on our roof after we purchased the homeThe contractor who subcontracted Ace had to withhold their payment for the unit until Ace returned to reinstall the unit correctly Now Ace is refusing to fix the unit indicating we did not fulfill their service contractWe never purchased a service contract with them due to a lack of an offer and the quality of service receivedWe were encouraged to reach out to Ace regarding their warranty on the air conditioning unit, but now we have to hire an attorney

I recently had Francisco La technician with ACE Home Services to my home to do a maintenance check on my AC unit He provided quality service spending ample time to check out the unit explain to me each and every step that he would take to provide the service than at the end went over everything that he had done, what he found that may be a problem repaired what he felt would become an issue being proactive to a situation that could become a problem during the heat of the summer Francisco was prompt, courteous and very much a professional as he always has been in the past, that is why I request he be the technician to provide service for both my AC unit and furnace when it comes to maintenance checks or repairs as needed I have complete confidence in his work his integrity and the company that he works for ACE Home Services

Called in to notify company one of their delivery drivers was driving erraticallySpoke to Becky the office manager who called me a liar and did not resolve the issue at allVery argumentative and nothing was doneThe driver needs to be removed from the road ASAP

I called ace home services for my annual a/c check upthe lady said my warranty expired .the serviceman came out and upon checking the unit he said I needed a part that cost $he said if I would take there maintenance plan for $he would not charge me the $or the $service call .thinking this sounded like a good deal, I said okupon filling his invoice I found my warranty is good to2019.I called there office ,the same day as the service and explained since I did not need to pay for the $I did want the maintenance plan and credit me the $and only charge me for the $service callthey said they would call me back (3/24/2017)no callback so I called on 3/28/2017,again I would get a call back.no call back, called again 3/30/and got the office manager Becky who said she would call backit is now 4/8/NO CALLBACK is this fraud by trying to sell me apart that is under warranty and using it to conn me into buying there maintenance p

Had our unit installed in and, at the time, bought the extended warranty for years Last year, decided to buy a year maintenance contract Called them out at the beginning of May, 2017, for the yearly maintenance so the unit wouldn't take a poop on the hottest day of the year Everything was deemed to be OK On the hottest day of the year, June 19th, the unit took a poop Called to have someone come out, and the customer service person on the phone tried to convince me that the unit was working OK I told him the unit definitely was not working properly, so a tech was scheduled to come out The tech arrived during the time I was told he would, and the cause of my problem was a burnt out motor Since I had the extended warranty, there would be no charge for the part itself The tech proceeded to tell me that he did not have the factory part of his truck, and would put a substitute motor on for the evening and come back the next day to install the factory motor For this, I was going to be charged an extra hours
worth of labor for him to do this I explained to him that it was not my fault he did not have the proper motor on his truck, and I should not be charged the extra hour He said that he would need to drive to the warehouse to pick up the motor, drive back to my house, and install the proper motor (a minute job) When I said again that it wasn't my fault he didn't carry factory parts on his truck, he laughed and said it I wanted to go without A/C that night, he wouldn't put the substitute motor on and would just charge me for the hour the next day It was degrees that day, I'm in my seventies, and I have a
year old dog I didn't think it was a reasonable solution, so I didn't take him up on his offer He returned the next day and did install the factory motor For this service, I was charged a total of hours of service I called the office days later to complain about the double charge, and was told that Becky was not available, but would call me back I waited a week with no call from Becky, even thou I called everyday trying to get her to listen to my concerns The following week, after getting the run around and no phone call, I called and stayed on the line for minutes until Becky took my phone call
I explained my reluctance to pay a second labor charge for the tech to drive around town picking up a part that should have been on his truck I'm self-employed, and I don't charge my clients to drive around town; they're charged when I show up to provide the service to them She stated that factory warrantied parts are NEVER on the tech trucks So why am I paying extra for an extended warranty if each time I have a problem, I will be charged a second hour of service to have the problem resolved? I also stated that installing the motor itself was a minute job She stated that their minimum labor charge is hour at $an hour Be grateful mechanics don't charge a minimum of an hour when a repair takes minutes or minutes to complete But even they don't charge $an hour for their services I thought I was doing the right thing by buying an extended warranty thru this company, but, in essence, will be penalized each time I need a warranty part replaced on my unit in the future if they continue to not carry factory warranty parts on their trucks Besides the lousy customer service and run around I received when I attempted to talk to the office manager about this issue, do not buy any additional contracts with this company unless you want to be taken advantage of and charged twice for their services
