This company has the worst customer serviceACE proposed a repair solution to an A/C problem we were having with a "pancake" unitThe "solution" itself was installed improperly including leaving the plenum covered with "gummy tape" rather than metal as one would expect and with a 4" gap It also improperly wired or connected the furnacesSince this happened late in the season, October, we didn't recognize the problem until summer when our electrical bills were to 4x normalThey did make repairs in September after failed attempts and another call back because of their negligence in failing, again, to turn on a gas valveWe asked for the return of the cost of the initial non-repair plus the increased electrical costsThat lead to discussions with John Twho then turned it over to Tim H., service manager, then finally to K.J (Kwan ***) the operations managerWe suggested, in compromise, that ACE do three things: (1) install blown in cellulose insulation to bring our attic from to and (2) install two Western Control units and (3) duct cleaning and register sealWe knew the cost of our request was about $far less than our initial demandsWhile John and to some extent Tim tried to address our issues with ACE, Mr*** offered a deal whereby ACE would among the other things install blown in cellulose insulation to bring our attic from to at 50% off published priceOf course, when asked what the published price was it turned out to be almost 4x what another company provided in writingEven with 50% off it was about 70% higher! Treating customers as fools is not good for businessDo not let these people into your home

The scheduling process, tech arrival time and service provided was quality Everyone involved in this process went above and beyond the minimum scope of workThank You

Bought a year service contractThey will call and remind you to schedule service if you forget (I do)They are prompt to come out, or will call if they get delayed on another callExcellent service and don't press needles repairs on youRecommend things you can do to keep things running smoothly

ACE Home Services has an excellent protocol for notifying their scheduled customers; and the technician was top-drawerI'm pleased this is the company who took over from my previous AC companyThese guys are the best, bar none!

Ace A/C Senior Technician Mark Palma came to my home at the end of a hour day to fix my new A/C unit that had been installed in the past daysThe unit would not put out cool airHe troubleshot the problem and found a bad 24volt wireHe went into the attic and promptly replaced the wireHe was kind and professional and explained exactly what he was doing and whyThis gave me greater confidence in the ACE team that they will stand behind their work and care for their customers even in monsoon heat and humidty no matter how long their day might be.THANK You again to Mark Palma for his exceptional service

I'm sorry but it was really difficult to just choose ONE complaint type
I purchased my unit new through Ace Air in late The gentleman that I met first with, I was totally confident with! To my misfortune he personally didn't do the work and is no longer with the company!
My profession as an airline pilot for over thirty years has taught me to try and do everything I can in advance so as not to incur a problem! We purchased an additional eight years service contract on top of our 10/10/10/warranty! My wife and I both like our house cool! With this in mind we purchased a slightly oversized and very efficient unitDon ( our original salesman ) suggested adding an additional return and several new registersGreat advice but again he didn't do the work! Over time we purchased EVERYTHING each technician suggested including more attic insulationOver the past four years my kWh usage increased dramatically ! Ace air could find no problems although my unit ran continuously!

Scott arrived early (a positive) and spent all the time needed to both, 1) address my concerns in a friendly and professional way, and 2) working and testing system and thermostat to our mutual satisfactionVery pleased with appointment and props to Scott

I scheduled a regular maintenance check on 6/7, which I had to take the day off work, then I get a call saying they will have to reschedule because of other units being down, I tell them it will have to on a Saturday since I'm not taking off work again They proceed to tell they don't do maintenance on Saturdays but I left them no choice, scheduled for 6/ Waiting around I called to check status they wanted to reschedule again, I asked to speak to a manager, never got a call back, so I called spoke to office manager, she tells me they will be here today, we shall see,

Health issue answer could be possibly above due to leaking gas usedI bought brand new ac units from ace air and added year warrantee on both systems, kept a maintenance at agreement with them to keep them up to speedDid everything asked of a customerI had them out for yearly check and was told the main coil was corroded due to new govt gas and poor design of copper and aluminum causing electrolysis the cost to replace $ I asked about the ten year warrantee and was told ace would not cover itThey stated everyone had been complaining about this defect or poor design, yet no one getting any satisfactionThis is wrong...it's not the customers fault or responsibility to cover suppliers mistakes or design flaws or gov' t changes in gases used, yet that's what been shoveled our wayI have copies available of warrantee and would love to send them to you in hopes to shed light on them and all other companies not honoring warranties

FRANSISCO AND ZACHARY WERE EFFICIENT AND FIXED THE PROBLEM

When I got home today the house was degrees I called Ace Home Services and they were out to my house with an hour and had the problem fixed with the next hour $in labor was reasonable considering they were so prompt

The two gentleman that came to my home were both courteous and polite First for home inspection and then for some repairs

JIM WAS PROFICIENT IN HIS WORK FIXED ONE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY
