The service at the oxford Alabama branch sucks!!! The manager of the store is very RUDE and disrespectful to the employeesAnd the customers receive the same treatment
I have never been insulted and treated so poorly1st....they attempted to deliver my furniture incompleteWas going to deliver and setup the entire bedroom and make me wait 2-days for my mattressWhoever heard of such a thing? If we didn't call the day before, they would've done it
2nd...the delivery was not on time and the decided to send ya a loaner mattess but instructed us to not remove the plastic and expect us to sleep on crunching plastic for 2-daysNOT ACCEPTABLE! 3rd....They delivered my furniture late and it was not installed and setup properly
Their solution was a HUGE insult!!! $credit!!
When we called to discuss with manager, he kept passing comments and words through a sales rep and not wanting to come to phone to talk with an upset customer
Additionally, we were told we should receive a call in a couple days from a manager that never occurredAfter days, we contacted corporate with same resultsThey told us that they will forward to a district manager and they will call us in a couple days
This place is HORRIBLE!!! I will NEVER recommend or shop at the Oxford Alabama Branch ever againI would pay more at another store/furniture place before going back to this store!!! If I could give negative stars, I would!!!

Delivery issues
I purchased a power sofa and recliner a couple of weeks ago When my purchase was delivered, the recliner did not have the power cords I contacted the store (Oscar) and was told that was impossible, that could not have happenedThen it was noted in the computer that the cords were not attached The store made arrangements for the cords to be delivered, and the warehouse sent a loveseat More arrangements were made to deliver the cords, and nobody showed up I missed day of work and previously scheduled appointment on Saturday and still no cord I am VERY disappointed and the store manager Van has tried his best to get the cords to me and (Wendy) with Badcock Complaint line was very condescending and her attitude was "too bad, so sad"I NEVER want to speak to her again

A love seat that has been damage since August 22,

I opened the account with Badcock I was explained that I could do mos same as cash option I agreed to the option, however I was not informed properly that my payment would be a set payment amount each month I had issues getting the order so it delayed me being billed for the order However when I got the bill I immediately called their finance dept to explain to them that I get bonus checks that is how I knew I would be able to pay off within months with no problem but I couldn't afford to pay the $monthly payment per my normally pay would not afford that payment but I would add large sums to the bill when I get my bonus checks the person on the phone told me that she couldn't do anything about and they have to fix the account type in the store I went to the store to speak with the owner Joey he was not available the rep in the store called him on the phone and he stated he would see what he could do if anything it was out of his control So about weeks later he

We purchased our furniture from Badcock less than a year agoWithin the first few months our furnitures reclining mechanisms broke and would not work properlyWe punched the protection plan warranty with our sofa and love seat so we called badcock explained the issues and they came and picked of the love seat first, and it took them about a month or possibly longer to fix love seat! When we received the love seat back we did not want to send our sofa with them because of how long it took them with the love seatThey said it took so long because the parts take two weeks to come in to fix the reclining mechanisms, so a few months laters the sofa became worse and you could not open and close the recliner part at all without out standing and pushing it in with full force, so we called and explained the issues and they said they would order the parts and then get back with usWell months went by and they never called and said the parts came in or anything, and the love seat also tore up

Badcock Furniture and More goes above and beyond to make their customers happyThe Furniture is beautiful and well pricedThe staff is exceptionalWe bought a dinning room table and chairs and the table was damaged in delivery I went into the store to request that they do something to fix it and they are sending out a brand new table at no further cost to us I will definitely recommend Badcock Furniture to anyone and everyone looking for beautiful Furniture at a reasonable price

We purchased a bedroom set on 9/we were told we would receive a delivery on 9/between 9-we did not We were then told it would be 9/

On Jan 21,my wife made a double payment on my account and the company will not honor it
My wife called in to the Tallahassee location to make my monthly payment, she told the rep that she was making the current payment and the next month payment,the man taking the payment told her to hold on then said proceed with credit card number.The next month billing statement came and I was being asked to pay the same payment that was made the month earlierMy wife called corporate and they told her that if she made the payment on 1/22/instead of 1/21/then they would have split it upSince she made it a day early I had to pay it again corporate then told her to call our local store since they took the payment they had to fix it,and she did only to be told by the local store that she had to call corporate cause they are the only ones that can make changes to accounts in regards to re-applying payments, I called trying to get resolution and they refused to take off the late payme

Negative Credit practices
After being a customer for over years in good standing they have changed their credit practicesOnce a year they evaluate your credit regardless of you history with them; and have reduced my limit from to with a current balance of over This looks as though I have an account that is over the limit and reflects on my credit negativelyWhen asked if they cough change that and shut off my charging abilities until the balance is reduced they refused and said that they would continue to report that I was over the limit until I pay it down

Recliner Base broken up to weeks to repair Recliner broke within weeks of use
I purchased a seat Sofa, Love Seat and a reclinerWith in weeks the recliner broke was told it needs a new base and would be ordered, After waiting weeks I phoned the store and was told the part would take up to weeksI Suggested as the chair was new and was only usable for weeks they should replace it with a new one as that would only take a few daysI was told by the store manager She would have to find out and would call me backThat was days agoThey could have delivered an new one in that timeAs it is I am stuck with an unusable chair
