Review: On December 19, 2015 I ordered parts. After not receiving them after approximately three weeks, I called to inquire as to why. "[redacted]", who answered the phone claimed the transporter damaged them in transit and never notified him. He then gave me the option of reordering new ones or a refund for which I opted for new parts at a cost of over $1200.00. He assured me they would be shipped the following day. After another three weeks and never receiving them, I called to cancel my order on February 10, 2016 after finding they hadn't shipped any parts whatsoever. He assured me, again, that the refund would take 3 to 4 business days. As of today, and after countless phone calls and runarounds, I have not yet received any refunds nor has my credit card company whom I filed a dispute with, have heard nothing back from this company. My refund reference number they gave is [redacted].Desired Settlement: A refund for the full amount of $1223.63 which was billed to my credit card. I received no parts or services.

Review: Ordered a part ($554.96) in April. Never received it. First, "it got lost in the mail", then "it was bent" according to the sales person. Now they won't issue a credit on our credit card. They say they did, but Bank of America indicates that no credit has been posted. Bavarian will not respond in any manner. We've left repeated voice messages, emails, and had conversation with the sales people. NO RESOLUTION. The accounting dept. cannot be reached. Left messages with no return calls. Review: On 10/30/2014 I placed an order for a lower valance to fit my 87 BMW 325. I was told by the salesman the part was in stock and I was required to pre-pay (this was a will call order) $112.44 for the part. I paid the $112.44 with a debit card and this amount was withdrawn from my account on 10/31/2014. On 11/5/2014 I was told the company was unable to procure the part and the salesman cancelled the order. I was told I would receive a refund and was subsequently given an RMA number, RMA 83716, to use when contacting the accounting department. All attempts, by phone and email, to contact the accounting department have failed to produce a refund or response. I tried contacting the accounting department through the costumer service staff but was told the accounting department is offsite and only "responds" to phone messages or email. It has been 41 days since the order was cancelled and I have not received my refund or any form of response from this company.Desired Settlement: I want a refund in the amount of $112.44

It took less than 24 hours for the funds for this purchase to be withdrawn from my account. I am rejecting this response because: I have been more than "patient" waiting for this company to return my money. My RMA R83716 was submitted to the accounting department on November 5th 2014! It is now December 30th and I still don't have the $112.44 Bavarian Auto Recycling owes me. From the research I've done I've discovered this is the operating mode of this company when it comes to refunds. They simply refuse to return money. Once again it took less than 24 hours for the accounting department to process my payment. It has now been 55 days since my RMA number was issued. This is a stalling tactic and this company is refusing to return my money.I'll add that not once, in the many times I've left phone and email messages to both accounting and the general manager, has anyone from Bavarian Auto Recycling contacted me to provide any information concerning my refund.The only acceptable solution is for Bavarian Auto Recycling to immediately process my refund of $112.44 and deposit the funds into the account from which they were withdrawn.[redacted]

12/19 Husband talks to [redacted] – [redacted] states that he can’t see the tracking number yet – that it was shipped on Friday 12/18 call back Monday.

12/19 Tried to talk to shipping they do not answer their extension – their mailbox is full and you can not leave a request for information.

Tried to call accounting could not leave a message their mail box is full – recording states they only “run Refunds 1 time per week and all refunds are subject to a restocking fee” They always say that it could take a complete billing cycle to receive a refund. [redacted] Fraud department has confirmed that any credit issued by a merchant is applied to customer account within the 24 hour posting cycle and there is no delay for such service.

12/21 Husband is given Fraudulent tracking number for [redacted] – [redacted] confirms to my husband it was sent out – [redacted] tracking show a label was created 12/23 2 4:30 pm but a pick up request was never made by the company 12/23 Travis states that he has checked the dock and the part is not there. That [redacted] picked up and did not scan so now it’s lost. Travis then issued a “refund”. When I asked what the time frame of refund Travis said different dept not in this building could not give contact name or # As of today no credit has appeared in our account.

Indicated in complaint that I paid in cash as opposed to the credit card option as there is no billing cycle with the debit card to slow an immediate refund since the product was never shipped and the reps lied that it had been.

Review: I purchased parts on 7/13/15. My card was billed instantly. The total purchase is for $1114.68. The parts were supposedly lost in shipping, so another order was shipped. I was told refunds were issued on Friday's and today is Tuesday and I still do not have any money in my account.

Review: I ordered a small part for my BMW from [redacted] at this business on 06/22/15. He told me several times it would take 2-4 days for me to receive it. When we completed our transaction, I asked for the tracking number, and he replied that I would need to call back the following day (Tuesday) for that number. I hadn't received the part by that Saturday (06/27/15), so called for that tracking number. Another employee said I'd have to call Monday to get it from [redacted]. When I called for the tracking number on Monday (06/29/15), [redacted] NOW informed me that it takes 7-10 days and there was no tracking number yet. I reminded him that he had initially stated it would be 2-4 days. He became very combative and repetitive, stating that it was always 7-10 days. I finally broke into his tirade to inform him that I, too, was recording my call for training purposes, (as their auto system informs you at the beginning of the call). He got very sarcastic at this point, telling me to basically prove it. (I can)I ended up talking over the top of him to tell him to cancel the order, to which he replied that it was cancelled.I called on 07/15/15 to get the refund number and ask where it was ($51.77 was debited to my account on 06/23/15). I left a message with my e-mail, phone number and the ref# on their VM as directed. (Their recording states refunds are processed weekly.)I called again on 07/21/05, leaving another message and have not heard from them. This was NOT a charitable donation!Desired Settlement: I want my money back. No product was ever even shipped, therefore should not have been charged. I'd also like the business to suffer some kind of citation, fine, whatever, for allowing this guy to continually assault unsuspecting people who innocently, and reasonably, attempt a simple business transaction. I took my business to Idaho Falls BMW and was treated as you would expect to be treated AND I got my part ON the day they said it would arrive. Pain free!

It appears you paid for ground shipping 7-10 days. I am rejecting this response because:1) There was no "confusion" regarding the 2-4 day shipping on my part, and the condescending attitude of whomever sent this reply, only serves to solidify Bavarian's status as a class-lacking "business". I was never given an option of shipping times, and if this person had done their homework, they would've known that from the recorded phone conversation. 2) The bogus charge still has not been credited back to my account, and their accounting department has yet to contact me regarding this, "via e-mail", as their outgoing message states.

Review: The used BMW 740il engine I bought from BAVARIAN AUTO RECYCLING, INC. a little over a year ago was recently installed in my car. I took the car for a tune up when the mechanic notice that oil was leaking from the rear seal but more devasting also from a crack in the side of the motor casing. The rear seal leak can be repaired but not the crack. The car is a project car, so it is not driven as I am still remodeling it. I have lost $1500 on the engine install, now that it is defective. I contacted the sales agent ** at Bavarian and explained that the engine/motor had a crack and that I would like it replaced through the two year/100,000 mile warranty on the engine from time of purchase. He debated that the motor was not leaking from the crack. Eventually he decided that they will take the engine back and refund my money but I would have to ship it to them. Shipping is $500 to transport the engine to California. I already paid shipping when the engine was sent to me. Under the warranty, Bavarian is suppose to pay for shipping and replace the engine with a proper one.Desired Settlement: At this stage all I want is for them to pick up the engine from the garage and refund my money.

Review: May 1, 2014 [redacted]. ordered an engine for a 2007 BMW Mini Cooper from Bavarian Auto Recycling Inc. in the amount of $3700.00 which included $300.00 for shipping. We were informed by [redacted] at the service desk an engine was available that met our specifications and Bavarians policy was payment had to be made in advance, the engine would arrive at our location in Pittsburgh, PA. within 7 to 10 business days. The amount of $3700.00 was taken from our account on May 1, 2014. The Bavarian Auto Recycling quote number is 241252.May, 15, 2014 we called back to inquire about the engine and [redacted] informed me that the engine would arrive the middle of the next week. May 22, 2014 we called again concerned that the engine did not arrive. [redacted] stated that he would check shipping and call me back that [redacted] did not receive a callback.May 23, 2014 we again spoke to [redacted] and were told the engine was shipped via [redacted] and should arrive on May 27, 2014, the engine did not arrive on that date. We gave the delivery a couple of extra days allowing for Memorial Day delay and the engine did not arrive.May 29, 2014 we called again and requested customer service. We were told the engine never shipped and no engine was available. We were told our only recourse was to request a refund and were given the refund number [redacted]. Several voice mail messages have been left with the accounting department since then and we have yet to contact a live person or receive any information that would resolve and expedite our refund. We also sent several emails to the Bavarians accounting department and all have been returned undeliverable.We professionally ordered and paid for the engine up front and in response were consistently misled by [redacted] and Bavarian Auto Recycling Inc. We want our refund of $3700 resolved immediately so no further action will be required. Review: In December of 2014 I needed a part for a 2006 BMW 330Xi. the part is CCC (Car Communication Computer)i found one at Bavarian auto Recycling for $488 including shipping. I dealt with a manager with the name [redacted]. I charged teh full amount on my [redacted] which was posted right away. for the next couple of weeks nothing was shipped to me. I called [redacted] and he indicted that he would look into it and get back to me. I did not hear from [redacted], so I waited a few more days and called him back. He said he's going to put a trace on it with [redacted] and see what happened. once again I had to call because these people do not care about their customers and never call back. he told me that [redacted] came back with a message that the package was lost or damaged.He offered me another part he had "Available" I agreed and he said he would send it "right away" I waited fro a couple of weeks and nothing came. I called [redacted] and he did not respond, I left messages. I called back and asked to speak with a Manger. I got a [redacted] on the phone and he said that the item was not shipped and that I need to handle it with [redacted] whom was on vacation. I finally got a hold of him and he confirmed that the part was not shipped and offered me a full refund. I said please do.since then I have been getting the runaround and have received a single cent from my money. he keeps referring me to the Accounting dept. which is only a VM they ask you for your info and they say they will get back to you via email. it has been well over a month and I have not heard from anyone. This company is a FRAUD and if aI have read all the bad reviews online I would've never done business with them. most of the reviews were similar to my problem. Review: Placed an order with them and was told that my order would take 7-10 days to receive. After 3 weeks I called and was told that the parts I ordered were not up to there standards and that the were waiting on another set to be removed from another vehicle and my order would ship the next day. A few days later I called back and was told the other set of airbags they pulled were no good as well. I immediately asked for a refund. The sales man issued me a rma# and said it would be processed in 2-3 business days. Since then I have called at least 5times to try and speak with someone in there accounting department and all I ever get is a voicemail. After several weeks of trying to speak to someone I got in touch with a salesman who was very rude and told me there was nothing he could do. The company sold me a non working part that cost well over $1,000. I was promised an immediate refund I have not received a response. Review: Bavarian Auto Recycling sent me the incorrect part through no fault of my own. When speaking with [redacted], he accused me of lying and insinuated that my car had been altered at some point. I have had this vehicle for over 15 years so I know my vehicle. Mr. [redacted] was very condescending and surly during the conversation. He finally agreed to a refund for the purchase price and for the amount spent for 2-day guaranteed shipping. I returned the product on Aug. 11 via UPS. I contacted Bavarian on Aug. 21 and was told that a credit had been issued. I contacted customer service at my bank to check on a credit from Bavarian. As of Aug. 27, the company has not credited my account.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund for the purchase price of the product and for the cost of 2-day shipping.

Review: The company shipped the wrong part and we returned it as directed and they stated that they would send the correct one out after they receive the other part back. Upon them receiving the radio that was shipped in error, they stated that they no longer had the particular radio we needed and would refund our money. However, the company has not refund my money and its been over 60 days. The employee stated that it takes at least a billing cycle before we would be refunded, none the less, I still have not gotten any responds from the company. They continue to give me their accounting office which is a voice mail that states they will return your call and/or send you an email, but, I have not received any emails or phone calls. I am rejecting this response because: this is the comment I have been getting from the employees of this company for the past 60 days. I need to know when to expect my payment. They stated it takes a billing cycle and most billing cycles are 30 days. It has been over 60 days since I've bee trying to get my refund. How many days is their billing cycle? When can I expect to get paid? Sad to say, I read other consumers comments and this is a constant problem and evidently it's several of us awaiting refund and getting the voice mail tag Gane and now this evidently generic responds to our complaint.I just want my refund.
