Review: This company is engaged in fraud.

Contacted the company directly via phone on 6/28 regarding a part for my car. Was told that the part was in stock and would be shipping ASAP. After 2 weeks of not receiving my item, nor getting any follow up email I called the company and was told that the item was damaged and would not ship. I was also told a refund was issued. After reviewing my bank statement and seeing that the refund was not issues, I again reached out to the company twice and was put on hold or hung up on. The total amount of my order was $291.28. After reviewing similar customer complains on [redacted], I felt it best to contact you directly and ask that you investigate this business because it is FRAUD and is ripping consumers off left and right. Please put an end to this. In the meantime I will cotinue to reach out to the company and hope that by some miracle I will be refunded my $291!! I have not contacted an attorney. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want my $291.28 refunded immediately. And this business should be shut down for fraud. or at a minimum investigated.

Review: On 9/11/2014, I ordered a transmission from Bavarian Auto Recycling and gave them my credit card number. I had been told over the phone that I could pick-up the transmission. On 9/13/2014, I drove 100 miles to Bavarian Auto Recycling to pick-up the transmission. When I arrived, they said the transmission was not ready. "It is still in the car". I told them to reverse the charges on my card. They said they would take care of it. They have not. I called my credit card on 9/29/2014. The charges are still on my card. I told my credit card company to contest the charges. I also called Bavarian Auto Recycling many times. Most phone calls have long holds. When I ask for my money back, I am transferred to "accounting", where no one answers the phone, but I can "leave a message". I left a message at this number on 9/22/2014, and there has been no response. When I ask to talk to a supervisor, owner, anybody, I am transferred to other voicemails. Phone calls to Bavarian Auto Recycling are endlessly time consuming. At this point, I don't believe there is an accounting department, and I plan on calling the Police after I am done filing this complaint.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of $871.94

Business

Response:

I looked in to the status of your refund and it shows a pending charge-back, therefore we have to let the charge-back continue.

Thank You,

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I believe the statement from Bavarian Auto Recycling is false, and they have no intention of returning my money. I have never had to wait for 2 weeks for a refund from any business. Most department store cashiers can reverse charges while you wait. At worst, the cashier may have to ask someone for help. In either case, the credit to the credit card is done while I wait.

Business

Response:

Company states they were contacted from the bank on 9/31/2014 and that the refund is going to occur from a charge-back from the bank.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the vague response made by the business in reference to my concern. I called my credit card company, and found that my money had been refunded 34 days after non-delivery of parts ordered. While I find Bavarian Auto Recycling's conduct outrageous, this resolution is satisfactory to me.

It should be noted that when trying to get my money back from Bavarian Auto Recycling: there were many lengthy holds on the phone, transfers to departments where I could "leave a message", no messages answered, and I doubt their "accounting dept" even exists in any real capacity. I was given the runaround and wasted a massive amount of time trying to get my money back. Without the help of [redacted] Card and the Revdex.com, I am convinced that I would never had got my money back. Many thanks to [redacted] Card and the Revdex.com!

Review: I purchased a replacement part on 05/19/15 which they deliver not on the date I was told it will. When the item arrive, it was the wrong item for the right model. I was told not to return the item cause they will deliver the "right part " whiting a week and a half. Well, almost two weeks went by and no item., I did call back and they told me that they still not have a part available yet. " part available" I said, you told me I was gonna get the part by week and a half. I have been trying call them 2 times a week with the same result every week until I request a refund, I told them I needed the money as soon as possible cause I need to buy the part to fix my vehicle so I need the refund of the money. After a week I called them back to find out when I was gonna get my refund and every time I was refer to a refund number and left a message to the accounting department. Based on reports filed by other people's complaints where they said it has taken weeks with no results on getting their money back. I hope I don't get screwed by this people.Desired Settlement: I want them to refund me the money as soon as possible cause I have already had a unsuccessful experience with their business deals so I need the money refunded so I can purchase the part that I need for my vehicle.

I ordered a part through Bavarian Auto Recycling. I did get the wrong part. I ordered on 5/19/15, when the part arrived, it was the wrong part. I requested a refund and I was told to leave a message at the accounting dep ext. [redacted] with my RM number. I have left several messages and voice mails with no one EVER retuned my calls or emails. I have talked to Ty at costumer service ext. [redacted] and he has been irrational and rude most of the time. It has been almost two months and no refund has ever been made, no one U.S. Acknowledge my calls or emails. No response what so ever. I would like to get to speak with someone that can assure me I will get my refund or not.I want my money back. Nothing else. I will not do business with this company no more ever.

Review: Order No : 254754 dated March 20, 2015 and the RMA No. [redacted] I placed the above order on March 20, 2015. The order was processed the same day and charged my Credit Card for 216.99. The company couldn't ship the item till March 30 and I have been advised by the Company that they are not in a position to give me a date when the item will be shipped. In view of the above I cancelled the order, company provided me with an RMA No. [redacted] and informed the refund will be made by end of the week. As a matter of fact, I have been contacting the company for more than 3 weeks without any response from their side. Also, I send an email on April 20th to [email protected] and till today I didn't get any refund or not even a single response from their side. I request Revdex.com's help in getting this refund. Thanks and regards, [redacted].Desired Settlement: Bavarian Auto Parts should refund the amount of 216.99

Review: I ordered two auto parts from the Bavarian Auto recycling Inc. one a tail light and the second a steering wheel and paid $450.00. I received the tail light but it was defective. They said they would not replace the tail light until the defective part was sent back to them. I mailed the defective part back and paid $20 shipping fee. The steering wheel I never received, they told me the steering wheel was shipped to the wrong person. These parts where suppose to be sent within a week. Through out the whole process I felt like I was being given the run around so I told them forget the order and to just give me my money back. I never received my return from them. Every time I contacted them in regards to the where abouts of my return I was always forwarded to accounting which was an answering service. The first time I spoke with someone I was told that I would receive my return within their next billing cycle. It has been over 3 months now and I still don't have my return. I have called at least 10 to 15 times regarding this situation and now they either hang up on me or forward me to an answering machine.Desired Settlement: please just refund the $450.00 I paid, for parts that I never received.

This people are a bunch of CROOKS if not outright THIEVES!! Do not give them your business. On 5/26/2016, I ordered a transmission form them. Gave the guy all my vehicle details including VIN and production month and they still shipped the wrong part. When I called them, they were so rude, claiming I gave them the wrong information. They gave me RMA number to return the part which was delivered to them on 7/6/16. I have called them numerous times after that, transferred to the accounts department where nobody picks up, just voicemail. I have resorted to calling my bank and Visa today 7/26/16 and hoping to get my $600 back.

Revdex.com Sacramento,This refund has not shown up in my account. They have said "sent to accounting" a few times before. What are my options?

Review: I ordered a part with a prepaid credit card that got damaged before they even shipped it to me. They said they were going to issue a refund and have not. It has been since june that I was told I would be issued a refund. I have tried to contact them several times but they just keep putting me through to the answering machines in the billing department who never calls back. I tried to talk to someone to let them know I was contacting the Revdex.com they were rude and cut me off and said my mother did a bad job raising me.Desired Settlement: simple have the funds put back on the card they took it off of. Response:

I am rejecting this response because: This is the same thing I was told before and nothing happened. I feel they are just feeding me a line to buy more time. How long is a billing cycle?? They don't tell you, so I still have no clue when to expect these funds. To me 470$ is a lot of money to not have for over 2 months. I just don't see why all the difficulty and delay. I would love a response with some sort of date instead of.."may take a billing cycle". Just want the funds returned to the card they came from.

Review: I ordered a windshield over the phone for my partner, [redacted], After not hearing from them for 6 days, we called and they informed us they could not get the windshield out and would refund out money. I have called and emailed them almost daily for the last 2 weeks and have heard nothing in response or a refund. We have also called numerous other times through out the last 2 months, and have only been able to leave a message. The windshield was purchased on May 29, 2015 and the money was taken out of my account on May 30, 2015, it is now August 4, 2015.Desired Settlement: I would like the full refund credited to my account immediately.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: this has been the same message I have received via your accounting message for the past 2 months or in your terms, 2 billing cycles. I want an immediate refund, it is unacceptable that you can take the money out of my account in less than 24 hours and I have to wait over 2 months, not alone all the time I have spent contacting you, to get a refund!

Review: I have been waiting for a refund for a part that I never recieved but paid for! I can never get ahold of anyone and when I did twice I was hung up on! I left numerous messages with no reply!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of 260.00

Review: I ordered a headlight asembley for a 2006 bmw 352i around Feb 25 2016 at least that's when they took the 650 dollars out of my account. I waited two weeks never heard from or received the headlight. So I called on a Thursday the said it must still be in the shop getting buffed out said he put a rush on it and have it out by the following Monday. Another week goes by still nothing so I call again and was told it must still be at shop well I said lets just go ahead and cancel the order he said no problem they would put the 650 dollars back on my card. I've called several times now and each time they put you though to their accounting department which is just answering machine I left all the information they asked for still haven't heard a word. Here it is two months later and still no response sure could use my 650 I lost my job thank you.Desired Settlement: Refund my money please.

Review: I ordered a seat from them on 04-08/2014, they said it was in stock and would be shipped out within a week, when I called on 04-16-2014 they said it had a bad lift motor and could not find another, on 04-21-2014 I spoke with [redacted], he said a refund would be sent, I called again on 04-28-2014 and was given a rma of R81488 and told the refund would be sent. My confirmation number for the order is 240017. My debit card was charged $520.80 and I have not received my refund, when I called again on 05-12-2014 I was told only accounting can do anything, I have left 5 voicemails and have not received any info back from them. I would like my money back, this has been over a month.Desired Settlement: Credit to my account, maybe a check if it is good.

Review: I bought a used engine for a 95 BMW840 from Bavarian Auto Recycling, Inc.,phone #800-269-8970. They state on their website that they thoroughly test their used engines for compression, leakdown and oil leaks. The engine they sent me was NEVER tested by them. My mehanic said there was water in all the spark plug holes, the engine had abnormal rust as if it had left outside for a long period or had beeen underwater. There was also coolant on one of the sparks plugs and it failed both the compression test and the leckdown- head gasket failure. These people are liars and appear to be running a scam business. In 22 years of business I only had one complaint- these people have had "58" in one year! Now the company wants me to send back the engine at my own expense and wait to get reimbursed. They can pickup their engine along with certified funds for $1000., or I intend to file charges. This is a fraudulent business.Desired Settlement: They pick-up their engine at the delivery address, deliver $1000. in certified funds to my mechanic before taking possession of engine- time frame by 7/30/15.

Business

Response:

Here at Bavarian Auto Recycling inc we thoroughly test every product before it is shipped and this includes the 1995 BMW 840 engine which was sent to Mr. [redacted]. After speaking with the mechanic I learned that he did not do a compression test, just a cold leakdown test. Per BMW(and just about every other automobile manufacturer) leakdown tests are to be performed when the engine is warm which is exactly how we do it in our quality control department. You cannot expect an engine to produce test results within BMW specifications if it is not tested by BMW specified procedures. Water in the spark plug holes is a common result of our cleaning process and does not harm the engine at all. Simply blow the water out with compressed air and install the engine as normal. For over 20 years Bavarian Auto Recycling inc has made customer satisfaction it’s number one priority. That is why if you are not happy with a product you are welcome to send it back for a refund. During a phone call on 7/27/15 the mechanic expressed that he was in the process of shipping the engine back. When it is received a refund for the price of the part and sales tax will refunded to your credit card.Thank You,

Review: I purchased an engine and had to return it because it had a blown head gasket when I received it. After returning the engine I had to call back and was told they don't know how long it would be until they had another engine. After a couple weeks of no updates I called back and was told I could get a refund, and received a rma# [redacted] to give to the accounting department if I needed any updates. Is been 2 weeks with no refund, I've left 3 voice mails and have called at least 50 times with no answer or reply. And when I call the guys I bought the engine from they say there is nothing they can do and I have to talk with the accounting department.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund.

Review: I ordered a used car wheel on Dec 5, 2015. I was shipped another customer's part. When I called Bavarian after delivery of the wrong package, they said they were wondering what happened to my order. They didn't contact me to resolve the issue though.

I needed to call the other customer and ask him to contact Bavarian Auto Recycling to arrange for him to return my part. Bavarian Auto did not have another part for my order. So I needed to wait for the other customer to return the part. Bavarian Auto has not called me at any point to resolve the issue or give me an update. I have had to call them ~5 times over the past month.

They were not able to have my package delivered directly from the other customer to my, so I needed to wait longer for them to receive and re-ship my package. They also told me a delivery company would pick up the package which was incorrectly shipped to me. That never happened.

After 52+ days, I still have not received the correct part. I called again today and they said it should be delivered on Jan 26, 2016.

Today on Jan 22 2016, I asked for a refund of the shipping and partial or full refund of the cost due to the amount of my time this has taken to handle and the fact that it's still not resolved. The person on the phone laughed and said they couldn't do that. I need to call yet again to talk with a salesperson to request a partial refund.Desired Settlement: I would like the cost of shipping refunded completely and either a full or partial refund of the part cost. I would also like confirmation of the tracking number and when I can expect my part to finally be delivered.

I refuted the charge for $203 with my credit card company. I would still like to buy the original item at a significant discount on the original price. And I would like Bavarian to provide a way for me to return the item they incorrectly shipped to me.Thanks, [redacted]

Review: I ordered a transmission from Bavarian Auto Recycling on August 17, 2015 with a NLT date of August 27, 2015 and the transmission never arrived. I was given multiple excuses of what the transmission hadn't arrived and the company would not give me a tracking number. I allowed the transmission arrival all the way until 1September 2015 and the transmission still did not arrived. When I inquired with the company they stated that it was out of there control and they did not know when it was going to arrive. The attendant ([redacted]) told me that I could cancel and get a full refund or wait. I told the attendant I could wait no longer and that I wanted a refund. He gave me a number and then asked me to call their accounting department. I call and got a voice mail which asked me to leave a message regarding refunds. I have called on a number of occasion and I also have emailed the company to no avail. I do not have my refund and it well past ten days since I canceled the order. I have never talked to anyone and I have no assurance that I will receive my money back. I need my money to pay for the repairs to my carDesired Settlement: Return my money in full immediately to the amount of 1593.60.

Business

Response:

I apologize for any inconvenience, I looked into your order and it has been submitted to our accounting department for a refund. Depending on your credit card company, this could take a full billing cycle. I also re-submitted it to the accounting department to speed things up.Thank You

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: The resolution for this problem does not take a full billing cycle to resolve. Please return my funds to my card immediately, it doesn't take a full billing cycle to accept payment and it doesn't take that long to return it. There still is has been no verification of receipt of cancellation and or refund of my full amount of $1593.63. To state that you had to resubmit to be sure of submission, indicates that there is no tracking of my refund. The excuse of waiting a full billing cycle has nothing to do with the return of my funds to my card. I've received verification from other companies within days when funds were taken from my card. I have been dealing with this company since August 14, and have got nothing but promises. They are in possession of something that belongs to be, my money! If you can't return it to my card immediately, please send it to my home address immediately. Please acknowledge and give me some specific accountability regarding the return of my money. At this point, I don't have names, no acknowledgement of receipt of cancellation, nothing, and this appears to be the operating practices of this company. [redacted]Address:9[redacted]
