Review: On May 28, 2016, I ordered BMW part oil filter housing for 1995 BMW 530i.

Instead I was sent part which is for 1992 thru 1996 BMW 540i. I sent pictures

of both my part as well as picture of incorrectly sent part. I was told correct part would be

sent. replacement never arrived; called and was told I would be issued credit on my credit card

with credit memorandum of R 90270 in amount of $89.46. I was also told not to return

missent item since their shipping cost would not justify it. I still have not received credit

and have called almost daily regarding this and am always given over to accounting which

never has a live person and instead asked for my email, phone# and credit . I did so at least 8 times with no response.Desired Settlement: I wish a complete refund

Review: I purchased a used engine for my 1998 528i BMW from Bavarian Auto Recycling. When the engine was installed by Horseless Carriage shop here in [redacted], it did not work properly, in fact the engine overheated and skipped at the mechanic shop. I called to see how to get a replacement engine, and was told to take pictures of the heat tabs and send in a written diagnosis. After following there instructions, I was told that it was the mechanic shops fault that the engine did not work. The representative **, at Bavarian Auto Recycling also laughed at the situation when he blamed the mechanic, in which I thought was very unprofessional.Bavarian Auto Recycling Customer# [redacted]Desired Settlement: I just want a refund of my money or another engine.

I bought a Transmission Oil Cooler Regulator Valve for my 1999 bmw 740il, they send me one with a crack and since it was a used part I decided to buy a second one from them. It took three weeks to receive the first one. After waiting for three and half weeks for the second one, I decided to call them. I don't know why the consumer department in CA, allows such business to exist. They kept me on hold for more than an hour and every now and then someone picks the phone and then tells me to hold again. Finally they said they'd call me back which never happened, I called them the next day and they started the same hide and seek game again. I kept hanging up and calling again and nobody wanted to deal with me soon as I gave them my phone number. Finally I talked to someone, I told him I wanted to cancel the transaction who sent me to accounts department who then send me back to them for RMA. He told me it'd take up to three weeks to get my refund. They were very eager to get my money from my credit card the very minute I ordered the part. I hope never ever to do any business with these crooks and hopefully nobody will ever go through the same experience. They monitor the phone and I don' t understand whether they sell parts they don't have or they are just crooks?

Review: I purchased an amplifier for my bmw 745i in October of 2013 with a six month warranty and its July of 2014 and I still have no amplifier. They had sent me three different amplifiers that didn't work and in my warranty if the amplifier is bad Bavarian auto recycling was supposed to reimburse my money back for the shipping which they never done.I made several attempts to call Bavarian auto recycling about the issue the service advisor name [redacted] was very rude and unprofessional and hung up on me twice, when I tried to talk to the manger [redacted] said that he wasnt there so I left a message which the manger never responded back to my message regarding my amplifier .I paid over 700 dollars for a amplifier that doesn't work for my vechile.I have been dealing with this iusse for nine months now and still no good results yet. I am very frustrated about this issue they promise and guaranteed a quality working amplifier which Bavarian auto recycling has failed to do.Desired Settlement: A good quality amplifier for my bmw 745i or my money back and shipping costs.

Business

Response:

I looked into your order and you do have a 6-month

warranty. These amplifiers are tested when they are shipped, but because they are

a used part we cannot anticipate how long they will last. I see that one of the

parts lasted 4-months and the other did not last but one month. I apologize for

your inconvenience, keep in mind that we have sent replacement parts out when

needed and the last one was already shipped out [redacted].

Date Time Shipped: 7/25/2014 13:39:14

Carrier: [redacted]

Shipping Tracking#: [redacted]

I would be happy to extend your warranty another 6-

months.

Thank You,

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: the company did not reinburse me my money back on the previous amps that I have sent to them in which I have all my receipts. It was covered under my warranty if it was a bad part they pay for my shipping costs in which they didn't.

Business

Response:

Desired Settlement:

"A good quality amplifier for my bmw 745i or my money back and shipping costs."

It you had to pay shipping costs, please call me so I can take care of that as well. I had no idea that you paid for the return shipping.

Thanks, [redacted]

Review: I ordered a CD navigational disc for my BMW GPS system back in DECEMBER 5, 2015.

Bavarian Auto Recycling sent me a whole GPS system that was broken, and not necessary. The BMW dealer could not install it because it was so severely damaged. I sent it back December 12/2015 and was told that I would receive my refund at the end of the first quarter. It is now 4/4/16. When I call them I get the same answer, "It's in the system for return," and that's it! I just want my money back for services not Rendered!Desired Settlement: I just want my money refunded please, and I will never do business with those people again.

Review: On March 18th I called Bavarian Auto Recycle and purchased a used door latch assembly for my 1995 [redacted] 840CI for $195.After a couple weeks of not receiving the part, I called Bavarian Auto recycle and the Sales person TAI told me that the parts they thought they had turned out to be not working. Fair enough...Then he transferred me to their Accounting Department that is nothing but a recording t leave your name, phone number, RMA number and an email. I did all of that and have done it now literally 8 times. I have never received a call back or email from Bavarian Auto Recycle. It has been over a month now since I doled out my money to these guys and still no refund. Every time I call Bavarian Auto Recycle and give the sales team my plight they transfer me to their non-existing accounting department and they do so (i can tell from their voice inflections) that they know I will not be contacted. Please be warned - these guys are thieves and if you work hard for your money, like I do, do not do business with BAVARIAN AUTO RECYCLE.Desired Settlement: I would like all my money, all hard earned $195, to be refunded to me forthwith and without delay

Business

Response:

I apologize for any inconvenience, I will contact the accounting department and have them look into this matter for you. [redacted] / [redacted]Thank you,

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I have called them a minimum of 5 times (one time per day) and they keep sending me to the non-existing "accounting department" that is nothing but an answering machine that ask you to leave the RMA number and email and still no one has contacted me from this accounting department. I want my money back promptly.Again, their response is unacceptable. Thank you,[redacted]

Review: I purchased a headlight which I had installed at the salesmans ([redacted]) direction even though the garage said it was defective. We told [redacted] that but he said that it would work after installation. Which we did and it was defective. The headlight was returned in April to Bavarian at the salesmans direction at which time he promised that I would be issued a refund for the installation costs of the faulty headlight. $417.60. A copy of the installation invoice was provided to [redacted].I have called [redacted] several times and he indicated that he has told the accounting department to issue my refund against RA# R85237. He also said he contacted the owner in order to expedite the refund. Also called the accounting department (x636) several times and no live person ever answers. Msg says that refunds are issued weekly and that an email will be sent giving the status of the refund. I left all requested info each time but no email has ever been received. Have also sent letters to the general manager but no response from anyone. Loren Smith Customer [redacted]Desired Settlement: A refund issued to the credit card used to pay for the headlight.

Review: call Bavarian auto recycling on April 15th purchase the engine for $3750.00 I was never told about a restocking fee or nor there was any mention of a restocking fee on any of the web pages I call back on April 19th to cancel the engine the purchase before it was shipped and then I was told that's when they try to charge me a 310 dollar restocking fee that. They said they would send my information over to the accounting department for refund it will take 1 to 2 weeks and as of the date 6/19/15 I have not received my refund I call them several times talk to [redacted] he told me that he was going to forward my information to the accounting department on several occasions but I never got a response from them, I have no way of getting in touch with the accounting department, I trird contact therm several times no managers are in the office that I can talk to, that's my complaint.Desired Settlement: full refund of my $3,750.

Business

Response:

I apologize for any inconvenience,I looked into your order and it has been submitted to our accounting department for a refund. Depending on your credit card company, this could take a full billing cycle. I also re-submitted it to the accounting department to speed things up. A 35% restocking fee applies to all returns for items ordered in error -- or not needed. ([redacted])Thank You

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: at the time of purchase I was never informed about a restocking fee in there is nothing stating a restocking fee on their web pages the only way I found out about the restocking fee is when I call to cancel the order and then I was informed that it was a 25% restocking fee but I would be charged a 10% restocking fee which was $310 and now they're telling me that you charge me 35 percent restocking fee on $3,750.00 which brings that restocking charge up to $1,312.05 which is ridiculous so I do reject the offer

Review: We bought a rear differential for a 1996 bmw On 3/18/2015 told it would be 7 to 10 business days well that never happened. We did get the wrong part. Called [redacted] again our sales person and he said they didn't have our part but will arrange to have the wrong part picked up and a refund issue. It should only take 2 to 7 days. This was on 4/22/2015. Many calls to accounting with our RMA# and emails to [redacted] no refund of $550.13. An no return calls or emails. This company needs to be shut down or an investigation on business practices. I need our refund.Sales person [redacted] JonceskiRMA#[redacted]... date entered 4/22/2015order # [redacted]reason for refund.. wrong part pulled no correct part at this time.Desired Settlement: I want my refund of $550.13I would love to have the more because of the time without a car and the time it sat that caused the e.break to freeze up, and then needing it towed because of it, ect.. while we put our trust into this company. But will be happy with the $550.13 refund

Review: I ordered a part then cancelled that same day they said they would refund me [redacted] from acct, the refund never came. Now she doesnt return my calls.

On the morning of September 21, 2013 around 9AM. I ordered a fuel pump for my car. I later found out around 12noon that my car didnt need a fuel pump when a mechanic inspected my car. It was whole new issue that occured with my roadside assistance. So now the insurance was going to take care of it. P.s. I have documentation of this whole issue if you need it.

Anyhow so I called Bavarian Auto Recycling and asked to erase order and they agreed and said since order wasnt even processed or mailed since it was the weekend they would just delete and reverse the charge to my card. The charge was pending in my bank account. On Monday it cleared which shouldnt have if they would of reversed it as promised since no part was ever sent to me.

So I gave it two more days and Nothing, so by Wednesday I called them back and the account I spoke to on Saturday named [redacted] who promised the refund, wouldnt answer anymore any of my calls or 10 voice messagages I left her. I talked to other people in customer service and they would always just foward me to here that they knew nothing about any refunds. So til this day they stil have not answer my calls ect. I talked to my bank and they disputed the charge and they told me that they answered them saying they mailed me the pump.

Like I told my bank I never recieved any any part or any credit.

I called Bavarian and left [redacted] another two messages on 10/26/13 and in the message informed her about this. It is now 11/4/13 and she still has not returned any of my calls Ive left more than 15 messages.

I dont know what else to do I called the bank again and they told me to file a claim here.

I have documentation that my insurance fixed my car due to a negligiance of their roadside assistance company.

I never recieved the fuel pump or any credit. I can provide proofs of all this.

All I am asking for is my refund for an order I cancelled the same day within a couple of hours of placing it in the first place.Desired Settlement: I am asking for a refund of the amount taken from my bank account and I never recieved their part.

Business

Response:

Researched order and found that item was returned by customer as not needed and refund was reviewed and processed to original credit card on 11-29-13. Applicable restocking fee was waived and full item refund was granted and processed. Customer has purchased other items since without issue.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I have not since purchase from this company nor willeven even will as their accounting dept never answers or returns calls.

Review: On June 23, 2015 I ordered a mirror for a 1996 BMW Z3 and my debit card was charged $215.00 by Bavarian Auto Recycling. A week later I inquired about the order because I had not heard from them. I was told the part was not in stock and they would process a refund. A week later I called again because I hadn't heard from them. This time I was given a refund number of R86661 and told to check with accounting. No one in accounting ever answers the phone. I have left several voice mails requesting the status of my refund and no one ever responds.Desired Settlement: Process my refund of $215.00 immediately.

Business

Response:

I apologize for any inconvenience,I looked into your order and it has been submitted to our accounting department for a refund. Depending on your credit card company, this could take a full billing cycle. I also re-submitted it to the accounting department to speed things up.Thank You

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: What is a billing cycle? Why does no one in accounting ever answer their phone? Why does no one in accounting ever respond to voicemail they ask you to leave? There are over 100 complaints on line about this company billing customers for parts they don't have in stock, or claiming the part was defective when they tested it. or sending the wrong part and refusing to pay to ship it back, and making promises of refunds and never to be heard from again, and on and on. I would like a date as to when they intend to process my refund. The accounting office says they process refunds on a weekly basis; it's been two weeks already.

Business

Response:

A billing cycle is the time between two billing periods. Approximately 30 days. Your account does show a pending refund. Thank You,

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: Despite this company's claim, no refund has been submitted. My bank provides same-day access to any deposited funds. It is apparent that this company has not issued a refund and their malarkey about billing cycles is nothing but a stall tactic. If the Revdex.com has no enforcement authority, maybe the court does.

Review: Ordered a remanufactured engine on March 1, 2016 by phone from Bavarian sales person [redacted], he said I would have to pay in full prior to the order, he then charged my credit card in the full amount of $5350.67. The engine was promised 6-8 weeks from order date. I called Bavarian every week since week 6 checking status and was given an excuse as to why it was delayed every time I called. On July 7, after the engine was apparently shipped by mistake to somewhere in Arizona and returned to Bavarian damaged. This new damage would now require another 3 weeks to repair. I was then offered a full refund from Bavarian manager [redacted]. He agreed to fully refund/credit my card immediately, that was 22 days ago and still have not received a refund.Desired Settlement: Fully refund my credit card in the amount of $5350.67

Review: WARNING

On 06/06/2016 I ordered and paid via AmEx for an auto part which I was told was in stock. To date, 07/20/2016 I have not receive same.

When I phoned Bavarian Auto Recycling to inquire about the (my) part, I remained on hold for 16 minutes. When Bavarian finally answered my call, [redacted] my rep?, gave me a "Shipping Conformation Number" but during the same conversation, [redacted] told me the part was never shipped. Bavarian than stated [redacted] lost the part. Requesting a tracking number resulted in another inordinately long hold time - of 14 minutes. Disgusted and frustrated, I finally hung up. Never DID GET THE TRACKING NUMBER. However, I called Bavarian back within approx. 30 minutes. Pushed "my" reps extension, he answered ... put me on hold again. Came back after about 10 min. hold time and stated he would transfer my call to the Accounting Dept. for a refund. Whereupon, I was immediately disconnected. Called the rep. back, left message on his voice mail asking he phone me (left my no.), explained I was disconnected. Good chance of a call back?? Yea Right! Called back today 6/20. Spoke with [redacted] he was going to connect me with the Accounting Dept in order to receive a refund. GUESS WHAT -- I WAS DISCONNECTED ... AGAIN!!

Needless to say, this co. is A RIP-OFF and therefore, totally NON-customer Service Orientated. At this point, I believe NOTHING they say ... nor should you. If you're reading this you must have concerns about the ethics of Bavarian Auto Recycling. Your concerns are justified and no doubt correct. Just read Revdex.com's "review/complaints" for Bavarian Auto Recycling and you'll discover Customer Service is not bad ... it's non-existent. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!

Go with your instincts before buying from this company.! LOOk for your part somewhere else. Chances are you'll not get kissed by Bavarian Auto Parts but you will get screwed.

YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!Desired Settlement: Refund my money. Never rec'd the paid for and needed auto part.

Got my money and my part ... life's not fair.

Review: Hello,My name is [redacted] I purchased a headlight from Bavarian recently the light adaptive system was not working I spoke with [redacted] who suggested I send it back for a full refund. I sent this item back with signed delivery and a refund request was sent. It has been 2months and I still have no refund I have left over 15 voice mails on the accounting voice mail where it states that an email will be sent in 24hrs in response and I have yet to receive an email. I spoke with [redacted] last week who stated that my refund will be deposited today Tuesday 9/23/14 but still I have no refund I called in and spoke with a gentleman today who spoke to me so rudely saying "i don't know. When you will get your refund it could be a year from now" I found this guy insulting and very disrespectful. I will be contacting the Revdex.com today to file a complaint. I want my refund and will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH BAVARIAN NOR WILL I RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS HORRIFIC ESTABLISHMENT attached to this email is a copy of my invoice.A Very Unsatisfied Customer,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want a complete and full refund!!!!!

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I have been calling and getting different answers each time regarding my refund since 9/4/2014. I was told that my refund would be here by 09/23/2014 I was told that by [redacted]. When I called back they were rude to me. I was told by [redacted] that the last billing cycle was Friday 9/19/2013 and that I should have my refund by 09/23/2014 but now its being processed. Im sorry but Ive have been told so many lies by this company until I dont trust nor believe anything they say. I WANT MY REFUND AND I WANT IT ASAP!!!!!!! $735.96 is not a small amount of money and I want it back asap....

Refund amount has been submitted and is currently still pending. Please be patient with the process. It may take a while but it will get done.

Review: I ordered (from [redacted]) and paid for a part on June 24, 2015. I called on July 2, 2015, to see if the part had shipped. I was told (by **) that the part had not shipped yet, so I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. I was told it would take up to two weeks to "process" the refund. Since the two week mark passed, I have called five times. After the third call, I was assigned a 'refund number'. I have called twice since then - I'm either dumped to a voicemail for accounting (which has never been returned) or told that the salesman will 'email accounting'. They refuse to send any kind of acknowledgement of any of this. This company has had my money for six weeks now and it has been over a month since I requested a refund.I wish I had checked Revdex.com before attempting to purchase from this company.Desired Settlement: I want my refund processed immediately. Thank you

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I've heard the 'full business cycle' excuse for more than a month now. I've also already heard the 'I'll re-submit this to accounting' response, and judging from all of the Revdex.com complaints, I'm not the only one.I will accept the response when I actually see the refund. Thank you.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: This is the same response I've been getting from the sales reps since the cancellation of my order on Nov. 20 2013..It seems to me that there is no one accountable. According to the recording at the supposedly accounting dept. the refund will take up to 2 weeks at the the next billing cycle..It has been 3 1/2 billing cycles since my cancellation.. Please note that this order was Never Filled and not an item that was returned..

Review: On 6/17/2015 I called bavarian auto recycling to see if they had a part available which they did for a price of $143 I went ahead and paid for the part via debit card over the phone. The sales associate had told me the part would be ready for pickup within a day and since I was in a rush to get it that worked out perfectly. After the day had passed I called bavarian recycling to confirm that the part was ready to go, which I was informed that it wasnt and was told to wait another day.The next day I called bavarian an hour before closing time and I was notified the part was still not ready. I knew from first hand experience that it takes only about 30 min to pull this part so I asked to have my mney refunded, which was met with a brash tone and a hang up.Fast forward a month and I still had not received my refund so I called multiple times where I was redirected to an "accountants voicemail" who just so happens to never be working. I have tried calling the owner of the establishment twice without any results. At this point I had to file a claim with my bank as well as having to order a new debit card etc. to try and get my refund. It is now 9/21/2015 without a refund.I would urge that nobody conducts business with this unorganized joke of a company, this experience is past ridiculous and frustrating.Desired Settlement: Give me my refund

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I placed an order with this company back in February for a [redacted] driveshaft that I never received. I called them 2 weeks after not receiving the product and they told me that the car just came in and had to be put on "the lift" and the part had to be removed. A month goes by and I still didn't receive the part. I continue to make follow up calls asking what happened to the driveshaft. They explained that It must've got lost in the mail and that it "happens all the time". After I heard that I had a feeling I was never going to get the part but instead I gave them one more chance because maybe the part really did get lost. They told me they had another manual 540i coming in the following week and can send that driveshaft at no extra charge. Oh really no extra charge a month and half after I originally placed the order?? Sure why not.. 2 months go by and I follow up again.. They didn't feel the need to call or email me that the driveshaft they pulled wasn't in working condition so I was waiting for something that would ever show up. They told me that I would recieve a refund in a few days for my initial amount for $290.00 that was placed 2 months prior. Weeks go by no refund... more follow up calls and emails only to hear that they have a separate "accounting department" that only goes to voicemail and that they handle all refunds. I left countless voicemails and sent several emails and still have not received the refund. I even left the owner [redacted]? a voicemail explaining the situation. I have no idea how Bavarian Auto Recycling is still in business but I will never order from them again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

I can attach a screenshot of the transaction history with my debit card if you need it.

Thank youDesired Settlement: I would just like to receive my $290.00 refund I have been waiting nearly 4 months for. My refund Rma# is [redacted]

Thank you
