Review: For over a month, we have been waiting on a part. We have called over a dozen times & get the same response... It was our fault & it will be there in a day or two. [redacted] has lied over & over. When we call the office, they transfer us to NOBODY! I'm currently on hold & have been for over 30 minutes. I have been hung up on. All this & still NO ANSWERS! Horrible customer support. Liars. You guys have no problem taking our money, blaming everyone but yourself & then avoid us like the plague. Started out nice... now very RUDE! The entire sales staff are in on it as well. I even heard them laugh the last time I called & all I asked for was a Manager. The guy that picked up the phone said... "He wants a manager." They put me on hold for 34 minutes, then someone picked up & hung up when I said... "I'm still waiting for a Manager."

Sad that you guys aren't professional & allow your staff to act unprofessional. Bad on-line reviews coming. Hope you don't treat all people the way you treat us.Desired Settlement: I want what we ordered... asap. Or refund us & I'll get it elsewhere. Simple.

Review: I have been trying to get my promised refund from Bavarian Auto Recycling since February 2015. The part in question was returned and signed for by their employee and acknowledge. The RMA number in question is [redacted]. After literally 18 calls to their customer service people the answer you routinely get is that you have to contact their accounting department (option 6) No one ever answers the phone or responds to voice mails left. Finally about 4 months ago one of the service reps. name ** gave me the owners voice mail and email to get this matter resolved. Once again there is no response even from the owner.Desired Settlement: I want the monies owed to me for the returned part credited to my account or mailed to me.

Review: I ordered two used BMW parts from this company on 5/20/2016 from [redacted]. It took them weeks to ship the parts and when I received them they were wrong. I was not able to use the vehicle during this time. I contacted them and they agreed to replace the parts and told me not to send the incorrect parts back. It cost them more than they are worth. After contacting them several times and waiting for the correct parts to ship I decided I could not wait any longer I needed the car. I canceled the order with [redacted] on 6/21/2016 and was told I would receive a credit on my Visa. I was given a cancellation number 90267 so I could check on it.

I still have not gotten a credit. I have called both the sales people and accounting numerous times with no response and no credit.Desired Settlement: Credit me the cost of the original order.

Review: I purchased a driveshaft on 6/9/2015. It never came. I have contacted the company 3 times, and spoken with [redacted] in sales each time. The first 2 times they had an excuse, but on the second phone call he agreed to refund it and gave me an RMA number. I never got a refund or credit to my account, so I called back today. He stated there was nothing more he could do for me and would transfer me to "accounting," which I was not able to speak with a live person. I have still not received a credit, or the product advertised. It appears to be fraud.Desired Settlement: I just want to have my credit card refunded for the amount. I don't care about pursuing it further, although this is a fraudulent company.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

To Bavarian Auto and their employees: Thank you kindly. I appreciate this correction.Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: I purchased a BMW instrument cluster for my 2002 530i a month ago from Bavarian Auto Recycler. When I received it there was NO invoice on the box or in it. I had asked how many miles were on the cluster and they said they didn't know. I called several BMW dealerships to find out this cluster CANNOT be programmed to properly roll back mileage to match my vehicle. I called them asking what address to send this package back to get a refund and then they started arguing with me that a package cannot leave their shipping department unless it had an invoice attached to it, which it DID in fact arrive without it. On an E39 BMW 5 Series, there are 4 places that store mileage of a vehicle. If my car has 102,000 miles on it and the cluster has 230,000 miles on it, it grabs the MOST mileage it sees between Light Module, ECU, Cluster and Key. Which then BMW CANNOT dial mileage back. They can only set cluster to match VIN#. When I explained that I cannot use this cluster and I needed my money back they started to become very rude. One employee even argued and said "BMW could code it because I had someone code mine because I replaced an engine in my car (E36)and the engine had less miles on it than the car, so I had them roll back the mileage on my car to match the engine" (which is illegal by the way) They then told me they DONT OFFER refunds on electronics but they would make an exception. I saw nothing on their site about non-refundable items. They then had me go through their "Accounting Dept." and gave me their extension which is automated. Ive left several messages with all my info they asked for and still no one has called or emailed me back. I returned my cluster on the 29th of Sept. via [redacted] with verified signature from them. It is now Oct.6 and no refund and no response. I want my money back NOW! Its been over 2 weeks.Desired Settlement: I want my money back for the cluster AND I want the money I paid for shipping the item back. Total:$253.63

Business

Response:

I see that when you ordered the item you insisted that you could have it reprogrammed and your mechanic told you that he could set it within 10K of your original mileage. You later called back and said that he could not get it close and you wanted a refund.

However I did look into your order and it has been submitted to our accounting department for a refund. Depending on your credit card company. this could take a full billing cycle.

Thank You

Consumer

Response:

I am trying to understand why they have had the returned product since 9-22-14 with verified shipping and I am just now hearing back from them through the Revdex.com? Why have they NOT returned any of my calls from the past 2 weeks? Or responded to my voice mails I've left the past 3 weeks?!?

This response through the Revdex.com is the first I've heard from them.

Review: After several weeks Bavaraian Auto Recycling has failed to issue my refund for a $2700 car part they never found after 2.5 months of searching. They directed me to their accounting department, but no one answered or returned my call after I left several messages.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the order #236863 of $2700 like we discussed.

Consumer

Response:

Consumer spoke to business, who stated they refunded the money on 05/08/2014. Consumer waiting on card statement to confirm refund. Complaint is now considered resolved.

Review: Vendor has not issued a credit of 91.78. The damaged auto part was returned 9/4 and as of this date accounting has not refunded my money.

On 8/19/13 I ordered one Mirror Assembly and when it was received it was damaged. [redacted] offered to ship a different one but could not obtain one. He got UPS to pick it up and the part was returned on 9/4/13 and was signed by [redacted]. I was told the credit should show up on 9/13/13. As of this date my credit card has not been credited.Desired Settlement: Credit my credit card for $91.78

Review: (2001 BMW 740I)

To whom this may concern: My name is "[redacted]" I will like to make a complaint against Bavarian Auto Recycling Inc. who sells BMW parts. They sold me a defect cooling radiator over flow tank and a L front grill that was the wrong one. The inside grill color was black and mines is silver and I told the salesperson [redacted] over and over again please send me the grill with silver in the middle teeth. I paid my money to sending t back. Because the first didn't have no teeth in the grill it was just the frame. So I took pictures and for everything to [redacted]. So [redacted] agreed with me over the phone that he was going to replace everything correctly. He ends up sending me two cooling radiator over flow tanks. He sent one to my old address and another to my new address on the same day on 09-30-15 Both of them one was supposed to be cooling radiator over flow tank and the other supposed to be the L grill with silver in the middle. But he ends up sending two cooling radiator over flow tanks. So he made 4 mistakes with me after all Ive been through this is really sad. Wasting my time and money and also stress on this company for putting through all this red tape. My car is at the shop waiting for them the company to send my L grill so they can do everything at once. This has been an on and on situation. I'm upset about this situation. I've made 20 calls to the company and also 10 calls to post office in Rancho Cordova, Cali, and also my post office in Memphis, TN. They are investigating this situation. I also sent my grill back on 10-02-15 at 2:52 pm and it arrived at 10-05-015 at 2:52 pm and it arrived at 10-05-15 at 11:55 am that's was tracking number and the postal person told me which he agreed over the phone to send me the correct one. He has been telling me lies about that he never received it and te postal told me they did an investigation and the scan it and the company has it the package.Desired Settlement: I have proof of my recents and paper work postal case number, they have on file, I want my money back my grill and for putting through Red tape please to whom this concern please check the dates and [redacted] and the company trying to get over consumers. Please call me

Review: Numerous attempts to process a refund as promised. Email and phone correspondence. Not one single call or email returned. To reach the accounting department, you cannot speak to a person. Review: I ordered a BMW 3.91 Non Posi Differential for my BMW 328 328i SEDAN E36 on 11/08/2014 from Bavarian Auto Recycle and had my father - who is a technician and worked as a BMW technician - install the part to my car. He took my car and the part to his work. At the shop he noticed the differential sent in by Bavarian Auto Recycle came with oil. His own boss, who is also a technician, was confused why they sent in the differential with oil. My father checked the level oil, saw it was clean and at the right level before test driving the car. My father test drove the car for a mile and noticed the car made a humming noise when driving near 60 mph. He drove back to his work and re-installed the original differential my car had. The Bavarian Auto Recycle differential was faulty. Today, 11/17/2014, my father called Bavarian Auto Recycle to ask for a refund. He told them the above story and they refused to believe the differential came with fluid. Their customer service representative and the boss of that department both argued and were rude with my father, which is disrespectful since he is a technician. We have 2 witnesses, who are technicians, who were there when my father checked the differential fluid level.Desired Settlement: All I want is for them to accept my return, receive the credit back on my American Express credit card, and a return label to ship back the product.

Business

Response:

Mr. [redacted]All our parts are drained of all fluids before they are shipped because of strict EPA guidelines. Every parts goes through our Quality Control department and is inspected for defects. Once it passes quality control it is then drained and cleaned in a pressure washing tank. We then have to check it again to insure no water infiltrated its way into the unit.We take this process very seriously and perform this "fluid check" twice so we can be sure we are not violating any state or federal laws concerning the shipment of parts with fluid.Installing the Differential without adding fluid voids the warranty. However, we understand that mistakes happen and we are willing to warranty it out for you. If you would like us to send you another part, give us a call and we will set you up with a RMA number and a replacement part.Thank you,

Review: I ordered a part from this company for my car. After 2 wks I never got the part & they never charged my cc. When I called they told me the part was tested & it was defective so they got a new one. It was supposed to be priority shipped. They charged my cc & told me I would have the part in 3 days. Well the part never came. After several calls & being told that it was shipped & it would be there by Thursday (this was on a monday), never received it. Waited until the following monday to call to see where it was, "[redacted]" said he had to track down the shipment & get me a tracking number he would call me back. After 2 days & still no call back, no tracking number I finally called again & was told he was trying to locate the shipment. Would again call me back with the tracking number. After a week of back & forth, I was told that they couldn't find the shipment & they ("[redacted]") knows it was sent but there is no shipping label or confirmation that it was sent out. So I requested a refund. It's now been 4 wks since I requested the refund & I still have not gotten my money back. [redacted] says it was refunded but you have to speak to Annette in accounting & she doesn't return any calls at all. I've left her several messages. I finally filed a claim with my bank & they gave me a temporary credit but the company still has yet to return my money. This has been going on since 2/26/14.My reviews of this company are less than 1 star. I would never recommend them to anyone at all & I will never use them or order from them again.Desired Settlement: I would like the total dollar amt of my money refunded.

Business

Response:

Original items were found to be damaged during fulfillment. We were unable to locate the replacement shipment or the tracking number in order to track it and file a claim for the loss. The customer disputed the charge and received full order credit of $1000.00 on 4-23-14. This credit may take up to 7 days to post to customer's account. We apologize for the inconvenience with this order. Thank you.

Review: I contacted Bavarian Auto on July 24th regarding a [redacted] E30 Engine they had for sale on [redacted], I emailed them asking to ship the engine to my mechanic and if there is any more information needed regarding that engine shipping, someone at this number [redacted] named George contacted me to confirm the address and giving me word 7-10 business days for delivery and I paid over the phone with my [redacted]. Since I have paid, I have no received any information regarding my order. So When I emailed Auto Bavaria, since they don't pick up the phone,They Answered and was helpful to tell me that "The engine I bought and was initiate as good working Engine is bad and his guys is picking up another one for me" I stated my concern in the email and I asked to cancel the order that was on Augest 6th, since none of that meets our agreement. They never get back to me after that email as I have resend the same email again on the 10th of augest to confirm, I have no gotten my refund. I called again today Augest 21st to ask why I haven't gotten refund, someone told me they shipped it on Tuesday Augest 18th. and yet they was not able to provide any information on what shipping carrier are they shipping with or even a tracking number.Desired Settlement: Simply I would like a refund as I stated early in the canceling. According to them violating to of their business with me, 1- not getting the shipping details within 7-10 business days.2- sold different item than the one originally bought.

Business

Response:

Review: 2/25/15 I purchased a transmission from this business for 1,150.00. I purchased a Lifetime Warranty for an additional 345.00 on the same day. The transmission was shipped to a transmission shop in Kern County, the 2nd largest transmission shop in the state of California. The shops has contracts for Kern county Sheriff's Dept. and Bakersfield PD. [redacted] sold us the transmission and we asked for a receipt. He said the receipt is on the website. We were not satisfied and again asked for a receipt and warranty receipt. We purchased the transmission from this company due to the lifetime warranty that we paid additional money for.6/19/15 the Check Transmission light comes on, car loses power as safety mechanism and is unable to drive. Car is towed to shop that installed transmission. 6/22 Owner of transmission shop contacts this business and informs them the pump on the transmission is bad along with additional issues related to the transmission itself. Bavarian tells them they will have to speak with [redacted] because he sold us the transmission and lifetime warranty. [redacted] is not in. 6/28/15-7/7/15 We continue to call the business as does the transmission shop and are told that [redacted] is not in and the car is still not in my possession. it remains at the transmission shop waiting for [redacted] to call. Which he has not to date. We paid 1,676.01 for a transmission and lifetime warranty of the transmission. It has been diagnosed by two transmission specialists two auto mechanic shops as being faulted. After driving the car for approximately 3 months and paying 1,676.01 the cars transmission broke and the company refuses to fix the matter. This is our first course of action. We hope this has been a miscommunication by the above business and will be resolved swiftly. However, based on the 123 consumer complaints with this company we are objective.Desired Settlement: We want a refund of the money or prompt resolution and repair of this issue as diagnosed by the two transmission shops. It is unacceptable to pay 1,676.01 for a transmission that only lasts for three months and less than 900 miles. We desire a refund or prompt resolution. It has already been 2 weeks since we first contacted the company to report the transmission and have incurred rental fees to date.

Business

Response:

I apologize for any inconvenience, It appears [redacted] spoke to someone and resolved the situation on 7/8/15 ([redacted])Thank you,

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I am filing the claim. I purchased the transmission. I do not have any knowledge of the current status of this issue. I need to know what is being done to resolve this. Specifically. Thank you. Also, I do not know who "someone" is nor does any person reading this. Please specify.

Review: We ordered a part March 4, 2016 and gave detailed information as to where the part should be shipped. We live in Decatur GA, the part was to be shipped to the mechanic in Baton Rouge LA. It took 2 weeks for them to ship the part and the shipped it to our home address in GA. We were told that they would reimburse the shipping charges of more than $77.00. I have contacted [redacted] on at least 10 different occasions via email and phone inquiring about the refund. We have emails saying that the refund would be processed but still no refund. Needleless to say they shipped the incorrect part and had to send another part. This has cost us so much money from traveling, to storage and hauling. We have recently been told that the 2nd part that they shipped is not working properly either.Desired Settlement: A refund of the shipping charges and replacing the part that is currently not working.

Review: Numerous attempts to process a refund as promised. Email, phone, letter correspondence. Not one single call or email returned.Desired Settlement: $160.00 USD refund. RMA number (issued by sales rep)for the refund is [redacted]. This was to be processed in June.

Business

Review: I purchased an antenna from this business on March 18th, 2014 Order #[redacted]. They charged me $90 for the part and I only recieved half of the order a couple days later. I called back to the store and told them they forgot the antenna, the Sales guy ** stated he would send it again...never showed. I called again a week later and he said they didn't have any in stock and he would send it when it comes in. I called today, April 25th and he still didn't have the part, he also stated he would not give me a return on my money, unless I returned the base of the antenna back to him. The problem is, I already had the base installed in my vehicle, with hopes of the rest of the antenna being delivered. Ty has very poor customre service and his attention to detail is lacking what it needs to be in customer service.Desired Settlement: $90, I will buy from a different company.

Business

Response:

We have contacted the customer and offered a full refund; we also allowed him to

keep the part as well and are looking forward to doing future business with him.

Review: On November 21st, 2015 I ordered a transfer case and a door latch assembly for an X5 [redacted] 2003 model. I was told by ([redacted]) the salesperson that I would receive the part within 5-7 business days. I stated to him at that time that I needed the part right away. He assured me that FedEx ground I pretty good about delivering on time and I agreed because I have used them on several occasions for shipping in my produce business. The package did not arrive within seven days, so I called [redacted] and he told me that I should be getting the package any day now. Ten business days had passed and my customer became very angry with me and had her vehicle town away from my place of business because I didn’t receive the part and fixed the vehicle as promised. During this time I still didn’t get my parts. Several more days had passed, no parts. I finally receive the transfer case on Dec 7, 2015. When I called Bavarian Auto parts they told me that they had the part in stock. The date on the enclosed bill will show that they charged my master card 749.44 on the 21st of November at 12:01 pm. The date that the parts was shipped was on or after Dec 2, 2015 which is shown at the top of the enclosed bill. I received the part Dec 7, 2015. When I received the part I called [redacted] and asked him what’s the procedure of getting my money back. “He stated to me to ship the parts back in the same box it came in to Bavarian Auto parts. When we receive the parts the money will be credited back to your card.”Desired Settlement: Two days after the package arrived I called [redacted] and he said it take (3) weeks before the accounts would take care of it. I told him that wasn’t what he told me and then he said he would put a rush on it. Another week goes by and he wouldn’t return my calls. I finally got him on the phone threw another sales agent and told him that I was aware of Bavarian Auto parts business practices and that his name was all over the internet Ripoff Report and that I wanted my money and that this wasn’t going away. “He told me to have a good day and hung up in my face.

If you call Bavarian you can’t get anyone from customer service on the phone (it doesn’t exist).

The voicemails are a joke and it’s just another way of evading customers.

I did nothing wrong!!!

The ripoff reports will show that this is an ongoing fraud.

Also you will find where Mr. [redacted] signed for the package that was sent back RED# [redacted] ground

They charged me 120.81 for shipping it to me and it only cost 47.00 to ship it back.

Phone # [redacted] email [redacted]

Review: I ordered a replacement driver seat for 1991 BMW convertible in March 2015. I ordered a tan seat and was sent a black one instead. I promptly called Bavarian Auto Recycling they admitted their error and said they would send the correct color seat. I have called them back in May. June, July , August and October. They always say they are sending the replacement but it is never sent. The contact person at BAR is [redacted]. My expense was $375.00 for seat and $195.00 for shipping.Desired Settlement: I want the tan driver's seat for my BMW 1991 Convertible sent to my address [redacted]as they have said they would on multiple discussions.

Review: We ordered an engine from Bavarian Auto Recycling. Within half an hour, we put a hold on the engine as the client we were purchasing engine for decided not to go through with repair for personal reasons. I contacted Bavarian immediately to request a refund. This was our first business dealings with Bavarian as this was a very rare engine. [redacted] at Bavarian put a hold on the engine May 31,2016. June 2, 2016 we requested a refund. Follow up emails and phone calls let us know the refund would take 7-10 days. June 23,2016 we finally got our next response from [redacted] claiming that refund should have already been completed and [redacted] would look into it. All phone calls to [redacted] or anyone else in service, put us through to an extension for accounting where no one answered. We have left many messages there, as well as emails as suggested by Bavarian. We have never heard a response to our inquiries. The amount we are waiting for is $14,000 USD. July 20,2016, we demanded to speak with a supervisor, and we got the owner, who we had to leave a voice mail for.Desired Settlement: We would like the money put back on our credit card.
