Review: I called in an order more than two months ago and the service person took my payment over the phone and said I would have the part within 7 days. 7 days later, I called back to find out that the part hadn't shipped yet and would ship in the next day or two. Several more days went by and the next phone call was to find out that the item was lost in shipping and I would get a refund. I've reached out to the company on three occasions for the refund and they are 'unsure' why after a couple of months the payment hasn't been processed and there is no direct human communication with the accounting department which seems to be outsourced. You can call and leave a message or email them. I've done both and my last message was to let them know that if I didn't see the credit within a certain number of days, I would report them and dispute the charges with my credit card company. I've given them more than three times the amount of days I initially said I would.Desired Settlement: I'm looking for the full refund.

Review: On 1/8/2015 I purchased: Brake Booster 2 Hood Shocks 1 Turn signal switch for my 1988 BMW 635CSI. I was told my parts would arrive in 5-7 business days. AFter waiting the time stated, nothing arived. I called and asked what happened to my order? I was told the turn signal switch was faulty & they were waiting on another parts car to arrive the following week. The next week came & still no turn signal switch. So I requested that the hood shocks & brake booster be sent to me and to refund my money for the turn signal switch to my card. George the tsalesperson stated he'll send a e-mail to accounting and I should have my refund of $186.00 placed back on my card by one billing cycle. Received brake booster on or about 2/28/15. No hood shocks came til 2015. Every time I call regarding my refund I'm told that they don't handle refunds & transfer me to the accounting department. I can never get a live person and all messages have gone unanswered.Desired Settlement: A refund of my $175.00 for turn signal switch I never received plus $11.00 shipping for a total refund to my card of $186.00 as I was told and is due.

Response:

Bavarian Auto Recycling's accounting department is a joke. You can never reach a live person when you call. And nobody in sales can give you any info about the department. Multiple calls and messages have gone unanswered to the accounting department. I've been waiting since January for my refund to my debit card for 186.00.

Review: I ordered left and right headlamp assemblies from BAR in Feb 2015 by phone. The agent, [redacted], said the headlights were in stock and assured me they would arrive by the end of the following week. The parts actually arrived a week after that which caused me to rent a car for a business trip. The rental car cost me over $300 not including gas. After returning from my trip, I installed the BAR parts and found that the passengers side headlight was foggy and the drivers side light did not work. I called [redacted] at BAR and got a run around about whether replacement headlights were available. I ordered headlights from another source (on [redacted]) which arrived on time and worked perfectly, so I called [redacted] and asked for a refund. [redacted] said I would only receive $1250 of my approx $1660 purchase price due to the restocking fee. I swallowed hard and accepted the refund amount. After a few days calling [redacted], I finally received a return authorization number by email (RMA [redacted]). I packaged the headlights in the original BAR box and original packaging (plus more packaging added by me) and shipped the headlights to BAR via [redacted]. (I have the [redacted] receipt from BAR signed by "[redacted]" showing that the headlights arrived at BAR on 02/25/15.) When the refund didn't arrive, I called [redacted], and he said that the accounting dept processes refunds weekly and that it must have gotten hung-up. After two more weeks I called again and got the same from [redacted], "the refund is being processed". After that [redacted] would not answer my phone calls or return my detailed voice mails. I also called the Accounting Dept at BAR and followed their recorded voice instructions for refunds to the letter. No refund, no response. After reading the numerous negative reports on line regarding BAR not paying refunds, I believe that BAR does not intend to pay mine. $1250 is a lot of money to me and my family. I believe this is theft but I cannot afford a lawyer.Desired Settlement: I wish Bavarian Auto Recycling to pay the refund they promised me; $1250. I returned their defective parts on 02/25/15. I have followed their return procedures to the letter. I have called them and spoken to [redacted] and have left emails and voice mails with him and the BAR Accounting Department on numerous occasions.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: The same lame response has been sent to me from [redacted] for eight weeks. I have attempted to contact the accounting department myself without success. I have paid Bavarian Auto Recycling the $1660 purchase price even before they delivered their parts to me. I returned their defective parts to them two months ago. I have complied with all the precedures which they require for a return. All I ask from Bavarian Auto Recycling is that they pay me the $1250 refund to which they have agreed. I pay my debts on time when they are due. BAR has a lot more money than I have. I need this money to support my family. Bavarian Auto Recycling needs to pay me immediately.

Review: On April 1, 2014 I placed and order of a 1997 BMW 318i engine, to which the customer sales rep., ([redacted]) assured me of product in stock and day of shipment for a total cost of $1163.94. Review: I placed a call to Bavarian Auto on 08/08/2014 and ordered door hinges for my 1982 [redacted]. The total cost for the hinges and shipping was taken out the very same day in the amount of $161.78. I received the hinges and they were faulty...actually worse than the ones I already had on my car. I made another phone call to [redacted] at [redacted] x [redacted]. He informed me to ship the hinges back via [redacted] which I did on 08/20/2014 and paid the fee of $28.10. [redacted] stated that once received I would be credited back the price of the hinges plus the shipping in the first amount of $161.78. I waited for a few weeks and never received the money, a phone call, an email, etc. I called again and was given a number for the accounting and what they call an R number and the name of [redacted]. That phone number is [redacted] X [redacted]. I called that number and it stated that if I had an R number to leave the number, my name, phone number and email address and they would contact me and email me. I haven't received anything to this day. I called [redacted] again and he stated that there was no manager and nothing more he could do or nothing more anyone could do. I called the accounting number several times and spelled out information to them. Still I received nothing. I called one more time to both places and was told nothing they could do and I again left all my information on that I am assuming fake line. Bavarian Auto Recycling has their parts back but I don't have my money back. I can't believe they would sell faulty parts, charge me for them and when I send them back they refuse to help me or give me my money back as promised. They have the parts and my money. I am not happy with this company. I just want my money back. I have done everything I was asked to do and they act like I don't exist. Sincerely,[redacted]Desired Settlement: Please help me to get my money back. I would like to get both amounts back now due to all the hassle when it could have been simple. Bavarian Auto Recycling just had to put the money back in my account like they took it out. Please help me to get my refund of $161.28 and the $28.10. Thank you.[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

It has been over two months since this nightmare began and I still have not received a refund, a phone call, or a proper email from Bavarian Auto! How can they get away with this type of activity? This to me is considered stealing! If we kept their parts and didn't pay wouldn't we be guilty of stealing from them? I am afraid to see how many people they have done this to. Bavarian Auto took our money the same day but two months later I still don't have a refund for the faulty parts they sent!!! I gave them our information so many times and still nothing! Is this how they get their money? This is so wrong to treat customers they way they have treated me. I paid in good faith but I have been ignored! The only email was Sorry for the inconvenience I will check with the accounting department and still there isn't a name on that email and only received this email when Revdex.com got involved. Unbelievable! I want my money back. I have a family and a working person. I don't want to just give my money away! I will do what is necessary to get my refund! This whole thing is ridiculous! Just give me back my money! This should have never went this far! You took my money the same day! I am waiting two months later!!! I hope everyone that you have done this to gets their money back too because I know I am not the only one! I waited one week since the email that was given and still nothing! GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AND END THIS NOW!

Review: I ordered a transmission for my 1990 BMW 535i and upon receiving the transmission I ordered, the mechanic informed me that it was defective. Bavarian auto recycling guarantees that all their parts are tested and to be operational, which was not the case. After a year and 2 different parts being sent the transmission still does not work. I have been lied to by my sales representative as well. He informed me he had another transmission that he will send me but instead said he'd referred my situation to a specialist in my area to check things out... but no one showed up! Now they are stringing me along with attempts to avoid giving me a refund of my money. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with their service and only wish to receive my money in return.Desired Settlement: The money spent on transmission totaled to $954.82

We apologize for any inconvenience, I looked into your order and we did keep in contact with you

and your husband throughout the duration of the order. You were given the opportunity

for a full refund or for us to continue looking for a replacement part on many occasions.

We were instructed to keep the order open and continue looking.

On 6/30/14 you indicated that you did not want another part and would like a full refund, at

that time we processed a pick up order, once the original item is returned to

us you will receive a full refund $940.32 as agreed.

Thank You,

Review: Ordered a product over 3 months ago. Had it voided, and had a refund processed with an order number over two months ago. Never received refund.

Problem date was over two months ago. Had a refund number and had the product order voided. Never received a refund through the bank and it was never even processed apparently. Called the store multiple times and got connected to "[redacted]" even though I left 18 messages and she's supposed to return phone calls in 24 hours. Invoice number was XXXXXX, payed with a credit card over the phone, and the purchase amount was 45 dollars.Desired Settlement: I would just like a timely refund, otherwise I'm prepared to take this further than small claims court for the sole purpose of the principle. That is all.

Review: On 4/2/15 I purchase two items from BAVARIAN AUTO RECYCLING and the following day I cancelled my order since I found my parts in a local repair shop near my location. My sale rep was [redacted] at 800-269-8970 XT 612. [redacted] provided me with two R numbers for my refund which I had misplaced, so I waited for a couple of weeks to see if I saw my refund post on my account and nothing. I called the main number to try to reach the finance department of this company and as I try to talk to one of the other sale reps they hanged up on me three times because I was not able to provide my refund numbers that I had misplaced. I asked the sales rep to find my account by my name or phone number and said he could not find me. I am not what kind of company they are running where they are not able to find a customer by name or phone number. So I tried calling the finance department where they dont have anyone that you can talk to and they require the R number so they can give you an update by email only, left voice msg explaining my situation and asking them to call me back and nothing. So this is around mid April that I called so I tried calling them once more left another message and still no call back. Finally on 4th of May I was able to reach my original sales rep [redacted] and he was able to provide me with the R number for both my transactions listed below: here are the two refund numbers. R85351, R8535204/02/1504/02/15BAVARIAN AUTO RECYCLING $210.1604/02/1504/02/15BAVARIAN AUTO RECYCLING$200.00So I called the finance department once more on the same day and left another voice msg with the R numbers with my email address and still no contact. Today 5/6/15 I checked my credit card and still no refund. I have contacted my credit card company and have put a rebuttable on these two charges. [redacted] had informed me that they were going to have to charge me restock fees and one shipping fee, I had agreed back on 4/3/15 but now I am asking for my entire refund.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund I can see from the list of complaints they have a very bad record, this guys have horrible customer service worse one I ever have experience.

Review: On 12 November 2014 Bavarian sold me a used engine that they didn't have, though they didn't mention that. They did, however, accept my payment of $1,289.79, saying the engine would ship the following Friday. That never happened and for a month they kept putting me off with more stories of not being able to find an acceptable engine. On or about 11 December I canceled the order and asked for a refund. Nothing happened, despite repeated phone calls. I finally got a Return Number and an extension for their "Finance" Dept, which turned out to be a recording that said they processed refunds on a weekly basis and that if I left my email address they'd be in touch. Now, after another month and more telephone calls, nothing has happened. I'm still waiting for my refund with no word from them. Their "Finance" department turns out to be a woman who doesn't work full time at the company's address. A reputable firm would have refunded my money long before now.Desired Settlement: The funds in question ($1,289.79) are to be deposited in my checking account. They have my account number.

I am rejecting this response because: This is essentially the same thing that the recording states when I phoned the accounting dept myself on numerous occasions and nothing has happened after a month. Anyone can hear the recording by dialing 800-2169-8970, ext. 636. You never get to talk to a person. I won't be satisfied or placated until I see that $1289.79 has been deposited in my bank account.

Review: I ordered a used engine it had a defective head which ultimately caused a motor failure and cost me $4000

I ordered a replacement motor for my sons 1998 BMW 3Z, I had it installed by [redacted] in [redacted] WA whom I have used before and has done very good work. If you read the Bavarians website and listen to their recording they brag about how they test their motors, however my mechanic will testify that the motor arrived with a stripped spark plug hole, they had to replace an oil pump, water pump and many other parts to make it work and even than it didn't work and took more work. $4000 later it worked one week and then head blew causing the radiator hose to come off. Bavarian immediately is accusing the mechanics and saying they didn't tighten the hose. But the mechanics tightened it to proper torque as required. I talked to a BMW mechanic who said if there was a head failure it could create pressure and cause this. When I asked [redacted] if the motor had been tested and ran at first he said well of course its a used motor it ran at some point so then I said was it tested and ran prior to being stored at your facility as your websites states, he said yes I than said how can you do a compression check with a stripped spark plug and he began to call my mechanic who I have I have used at least 5 times with no complaints a liar. If you read their reviews you will see most people had serious issues with motors and parts. They refuse a refund and want to send a replacement and expect me to shell out another $2000 in labor on a gambled. This company should not be in business they lie and their staff is rude and accusatory. I left a message with their owner Brice and also explained the situation, he has not called back yet. Please help me with this I am at wits end and my next step is Small Claims court, also do you have information regarding how I could file a small claims case against them?Desired Settlement: I want either a refund of the motor cost and the labor costs for installation approximately $4000 or they send me an actual rebuilt engine and I pay the labor or they send another long block in working condition and pay for labor to install it, otherwise we will be going to court and costs will be much closer to $10,000. I will not except a replacement motor without labor costs or a refund without labor costs $4000

Review: I ordered parts from Bavarian Auto Recycling in October of 2015. It took over a month to receive the parts I ordered. When they arrived, they were found to be broken AND the wrong parts. I contacted Bavarian Auto Recycling and was told to return the parts. When I informed them that both parts were broken, they advised me to throw the parts away. They said that they would send out replacement parts right away. I was also promised a tracking number so I could be at home when they arrived. No tracking number was sent. After another week, I called again. I was told that they found the door panel but it needed repair. They would send both parts together. Another few weeks went by and the door panel arrived but not the door lock assembly. I called again and was told that "they forgot to ship it". I asked that they send it out right away. They promised to do so. November was now passed so 6 weeks had gone by. I called again and was told that the shipping department had forgotten to send it. I was , at my request, transferred to the owner once. I got voicemail, left a message but he never called back. I again waited weeks and the part still did not arrive. I spoke with them again today and was told by the person handling my order that he was waiting for the return of the broken part. I reminded him that he told me to throw the broken part away. He replied. " I know. I just forgot to hit the right key to send the order.

So from October 20th, 2015 until December 8th, 2015, I have been waiting for Bavarian Auto Recycling to deliver the part that I paid for. Every time I call I now ask to speak with the owner. I am told that he is not in. I left a message with the accounting department in order to bypass the counter man and they have not replied.

The gentleman at the counter seems to be rather amused by all of this as he actually giggles when I ask for delivery.

My cr is [redacted] my quote number is [redacted] Invoice number is [redacted]

The amount paid was $300.Desired Settlement: I would like to speak Directly with the owner of the business.

I want the correct part, unbroken and complete to be delivered to me by express shipping.

If they cannot deliver the door latch assembly upon receipt of this complaint, I want a refund of the full purchase price plus shipping.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I have been told by Bavarian Auto Recycling that the item in question has been shipped at least five times. It has NOT arrived. That is the point of this complaint. I have lost faith in the company in question. I have been without the use of my car for just a few days short of 2 months. When I asked the representative at extension 612 for my part, he just laughed. Bavarian Auto Recycling really ought to retrain their employees and do a complete overhaul of their current system of finding and delivering parts. Stop making excuses for non-delivery and tell the truth !I will let you know if the part actually arrives. Only then should the account be closed. Regards[redacted]

Review: On April 20th I ordered a rear seat for my BMW. The sales person was totally obnoxious and rude and told me I didn't need to give him a part number (1st red flag). He gave me a confirmation# and said it would arrive in 7 business days (this is a CA business sending to a CA residence, not out of state). I never received an email confirmation which they later stated they were not yet set up for in their system - BOLD LIE, read the YELP reviews from last year and people discuss receiving email confirmations but days later after their credit cards were charged. When I called on May 1st to ask where the seat was, another rude person said it would arrive by May 4th or 5th. On May 5th, I called again to ask for a tracking number and the third rude guy said there wasn't one, that it hadn't been sent because they were looking for a good seat to send. I said this was a joke and that I should have been notified that it was not on it's way yet. Not to mention, my card should not have been charged for $523.31 on April 20th (now on Math 6th) if they didn't even have the merchandise. I said to cancel the order and credit my card, which of course he said he would do and so far has not. How are these jokers still in business and based on the YELP reviews they need to be shut down. I was remiss in not looking at YELP before contacting these creeps.Desired Settlement: Refund. Shut this business down, a bunch of crooks!

Review: They have not refund me my money as they do not have the part I purchased.

I contacted Bavarian on 9/20/13 seeking a driveline for my 2004 BMW X3. I spoke with ** who advised me they had the part in stock. I gave him my credit card information and was charged $340.00. He told me I will recieve the part within 3 to 5 business days. The Part never came within the 5 days. I called again and was advised that they part would be coming in that day. A week after this call, I called back as I hadn't recieved the part and was told they didn't have it and would refund my money. To date, I have not recieved a refund. According to the Representative ** who answer the phone for every option (billing, shipping, and refunds) the only person that can refund my money Is [redacted] and she is never in all I can do is leave her a message about refunding my money.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund of $340.00

Review: I have been waiting for a refund for a part ordered, but never received. I originally ordered a camshaft for a BMW in October, 2015. I was sent wheel covers instead and was instructed to keep them by [redacted] at Bavarian. The next shipment was also incorrect. At this point, I was told they did not have the correct part and I would receive a refund. [redacted] stated I must wait for the end of their billing cycle before they could issue the refund. I have waited through the billing cycle and made several phone calls to [redacted] and have left messages with [redacted], the owner, and [redacted] in accounting as instructed. I still have not received my refund or any contact from their accounting department as promised.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund in the amount of $225.18 that was deducted from my bank on November 2, 2015.

Review: After finding on car-part.com that they had the sport seats that I wanted for my 2011 BMW 328i, I called and talked to [redacted]. He assured me that they were what I wanted (tan, electric, seat heaters, full wiring harness). So, I agreed to the $1,100 that he quoted me and paid with my credit card on March 3, 2016. I assumed it would take some time to pull the seats, check them, package, and ship to me in Atlanta. I called two weeks later to check. They had been pulled, but there was an issue with the wiring harness and he was getting the part to fix. Fine. Called again two weeks later and the part still hasn't shipped. [redacted] would check and get back to me. Called again the following week. Nothing. This continued until May. The seats finally shipped, but they didn't have a tracking number. They'll call me back with it. Since I get no call, I call them. Still no tracking number. Then the next week, I call. Now I hear that the driver left them out on a dock and they got soaked with rain when transferring to another truck. OK. Do I want a refund? No. I'd like the seats. [redacted] said a new set were due in next week. Great. Again, a few weeks. I call, have they shipped? I think, let me call the shipping department. This goes on for a few more weeks. Then I call (note that I've never received a single call back or e-mail even though I've confirmed that they have my phone number and e-mail each time I call) and they tell me that the driver ran them over with the back of the truck when he came to pick them up. Fine. I'll take that refund. This is now June and I ordered in March. Get a refund number and get transferred to accounting. Leave a message. Call back two weeks later, leave another message. Call back another two weeks later, leave another message. Called again today, left another message. Seems like they don't actually have the parts, but will bill you and hope that they come in. Too bad, they could have a great business going. Should have checked their Revdex.com score.Desired Settlement: I'd just like my $1,100 back and I'll never deal with this company again.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I ordered a set of turbos for my 2009 BMW 335i from Bavarian on 8/26/2014. They were the wrong parts for my car. I called sales rep, he issued and RMA, initiated a parts refund and I returned the parts. Parts were picked up by UPS on 9/4/2014. I have made numerous calls to Bavarian trying to get the status of my refund. The accounting department is not available to speak with and they only allow you to leave a message that they never return. I have left my RMA#, name, phone, and email address as requested by the recording 3 times over the past 14 days. I have not recieved any communication from them about my refund they owe me. My car cannot be repaired because I do not have the money available to purchase the correct parts.Desired Settlement: I want a refund immediately in the amount they charged my card, $630.79, so I can get my car repaired.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and as long as I receive an immediate refund in full for the incorrect parts that I returned I will be satisfied. This is the only appropriate resolution.

Thank you,

Consumer

Response:

Customer states: Refund has not been received and no communication has been given from the company.

Business

Response:

I looked into your order and it has been submitted to our accounting department for a refund. (R83234) Depending on your credit card company, this could take a full billing cycle.Thank You

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:I want this complaint left open until I receive the money....1. This level of customer service they provide by refusing to communicate with their customer is unacceptable. It would not take 5 minutes to pick up the phone and call your customer. I am a small business owner and if I treated my customer base in the same fashion I would be out of business. 2. Since they will only communicate with the Revdex.com, I would like to know, "What date was the refund issued exactly?" I have recieved other refunds from other companies on this same account and it never takes more than 5-7 days.
