Review: Bavarian deals in used auto parts. I ordered a sun roof for my 2005 [redacted] X5 and the wrong part was delivered to my mechanic in Walnut Creek. I called Bavarian and was told they would see if they had the right part. Three calls later I was finally told no they did not and they would pick up the sunroof at my mechanic's. I was told I would get a refund. After one month I called accounting, a robo-answer that tells you to leave a refund code and email address and they would get back to you. I had to call the main number back to get the code, but that was not a problem. My calling has been going on for weeks and I am calling every day. Same robo answer. No response, no refund. If you call the main number (where I ordered the parts), they say they will "transfer" you to accounting. Then they hang up on you. This has happened three times. I am out $886 for the part that they took back almost two months ago!Desired Settlement: I need the $886 credited to my Credit Card.

Review: Purchased a door latch for 1997 BMW M3 for $95.54 in January 2014. They sent the wrong part twice, where I had to return the parts and pay the S&H and insurance. I called them back a couple of weeks later in February and spoke with a salesperson who confirmed receipt of the part, and I requested a refund at that time. The return numbers (RM#) assigned to me was R80674, and I was told that the refund should take a week to process. Since that time I have made repeated calls, once again confirming that the refund was "in process", and I was transferred to the accounting department, where I was required to leave a message with the relevant information. They never responded to me after multiple attempts. I called my bank (I paid with Visa), and they made a few attempts to resolve the issue, and found that they would not get any reply either. I have returned part as requested, but they are avoiding giving me any remedy. I visited Yelp and found that there are numerous complaints of the same nature, and that only with a complaint with the Revdex.com did any resolution take place. It appears that this business is running a highly unethical business in our state. Please help me.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the purchase price as per my discussion with the sales representative. To accept a part as requested and then dodge the refund seems criminal to me, and not the practice any business should be allowed to do in the state of California, or any state / city in the USA. I am happy that we have the Revdex.com to report this take of business activity. Please help.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

But I still feel that this is a stalling tactics as they have said the same to me for months now.

Thank you,

Review: I purchased used parts from Bavarian auto recycling on about Feb 21st 2014 my first complaint was it took eight days to get my parts shipped at a cost of $150.OO When I received my invoice the collision shops name was wrong the invoice. When I brought this to attention of the rep who helped he said that was a big deal and the parts would get to [redacted] collision center even through he had name wrong he put ** collision center on shipping invoice okay but I was told parts would arrive max 7 business days they came in eight. I spent $1168 on parts of 3 of the parts I couldn't use the 4th part front bumper I had to have repair work on that at a cost $250.00 the biggest complaint that I have is when I receivedthe invoice address was wrong and it took eights days for them to get here and then 4 out the six parts were substandard and were in need of repair or replacement when I brought them. I called the rep back and ask if I returned the parts could I Get A refund I was told the for the bumper repair he would give me 100.00 refund only and for the other parts I could only get an in store credit and He Added He was sure I would need to use. because of the year of my car. I felt like he was being a smart aleck. My 2002 BMW is still in shop because the other three parts I had to reorder, I am very sorry I ever ordered the parts from Bavarian auto recycling.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the parts that are being returned not a store credit because I will never use it and the bumper repair charge should at least be half of what I spent about 150.00 all total my refund should be about $500.00

I have had very bad experience with this so called business. Took them 3 weeks to tell me they had an issue with my part and were just going to refund me. In a additional 3 weeks period time I have been calling daily looking for my refund. My so called sales rep. was Dan at ext. 613 but all he can do is transfer me to his Accounting Dept. as they are the only ones who can process refunds. Not to mention their "accounting dept." is location in another city. And their voice message states to leave your email and they will get back to me. Again 3 weeks and no email or refund. Have been getting the run around for over a month now. Please do NOT do any kind of purchase with them.

Review: On 5/30/2015 I purchased a used part from [redacted], whom stated to be the manager. My credit card was debited in the amount of $ 197.08 on 6/2/2015.I've requested via e-mail and Order Confirmation and Delivery time: No responseTen days later requested Confirmation again: No response. After several phone calls with no one available to respond, Mr [redacted] came to the phone and informed that Bavarian did not have the part I ordered so I cancelled the Order and requested a full Refund, to which he promised will be processed in a weeks time. After more phone calls (9) and emails (4) to [redacted] and voice mail (2) messages to the accounting department, no one ever responded with an explanation.Eleven weeks have passed and not a single word from Bavarian. This is blatant abuse and a total disregard for consumer's rights.Desired Settlement: Very simple: a prompt, full refund.

I am rejecting this response because: That is precisely the answer I've got the First AND Second time I requested the refund back in June and July. Once again, it is a dilatory tactic. We'll see.

Review: My husband order an [redacted] pump for $1,000 from this company on 5/6/15 which was delivered via [redacted] on 5/14/2015, (We we told all parts are tested to ensure they work prior to shipping) After paying our mechanic to put in this part (which turned out not usable) Contacted our sales rep who advised he would send us out a replacement part, The replacement [redacted] label was created on 5/20.. I waited 2 days and the [redacted] status had not changed ("Label Created"). We paid to have the bad pump removed and Bavarian sent [redacted] to pick up the package & return to their location, which was delivered 6/5/15 @ 10:19. First we were told the the refund will be processed immediately, after 1 week I called to check on a status, I spoke with TY who told me the "girl" who processes returns is not in his office, you can only leave her a vm or an email. He then advised refunds are processed twice a month but he was not sure of an exact date. I have left several emails for the accounting department, I even tried to email the owner, I have left voicemails with no avail. This issue has been going no where for almost two months. They were happy to take my payment, plus their return part.. I am still out of $1,000 which was promised to be returned. Please help. I have all documentation of what has transpired.Desired Settlement: I want the refund that was promised by [redacted] (our sales rep)

Review: I ordered a [redacted] bumper for my vehicle on January 14th 2015 and was charged $600 for the cost that same business day. I was told it will be a primer complete assembly meaning all parts needed for instant installment will be there and it will be 7-10 business days for delivery. Twelve days later I receive a bumper that was heavily damaged, was not primer, missing parts, and absolutely filthy. I called about the bumper and sent pictures to show them what they sent me. They assured me they sent me the wrong bumper and would send me the correct bumper within a few days. Its been a month I have not been contacted, not been given a tracking number, nor a simple email. Worst sales experience ever. I 've called to speak to Manager/Management and they responded that he is rarely in the office. I left him a few voice messages with my contact information and have not heard back as of yet. The gentleman who gave me the managers information offered to help and asked for my confirmation number for the part which I gave to him and he said that number is not coming up in the system meaning it doesn't exist? What do I do ? I'm a Disabled Veteran which was not on the checklist.Desired Settlement: $600 and the Part I was promised a month ago if possible for this terrible experience.

Business

Response:

I apologize for any inconvenience, the item you received was the unfinished one and was not intended to be shipped. Our sales representative explained this and offered to send you a re-finished bumper cover. You declined our offer and asked for a full refund. ([redacted])When we attempted to have our parts picked up, you informed us that you threw out all the items /parts and only want a refund instead of replacement parts. All parts must be returned before we can process a full refund. Please have all the parts boxed up and we will have them picked up at no cost to you. Please write this return number ([redacted])on the outside of the package and we wil have UPS come by and pick it up Thank you

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: First of all I ordered the product in question on January 14, 2015 from [redacted] Extension #612 and was charged for it that same day. I received the product two days after the 7-10 days projected delivery date, which is understandable in certain circumstances. As soon as I opened the package I observed that the product was not prime coated black which should have been and ready for painting as I was promised. Second of all the product was heavily damage and obviously not from shipping. The product was cracked, broken, and had heavy road rash. The passenger side fog light was missing, fog light assembly was missing, passenger side bumper cover guide was missing, license plate holder was missing, and on top of all that the product was filthy covered in mud. As soon as I saw these flaws with the product I called [redacted] on January 26, 2015 and sent him pictures to show him what was sent to me. He told me that the wrong product was sent out and to discard the product I received...exact words to me were "go ahead and trash it and I will send you a replacement in a few days”. A few days turned into a month from the original purchase date without any feedback, courtesy call, or tracking number. At the month mark time frame I was pretty upset I hadn’t received the product so I called the company which they informed me [redacted] was not working that day so I asked the gentleman if he could help me and look up my product confirmation number to find out what’s taking so long. To my surprise he told me he couldn’t find my product in the system and that I should call back the next day to speak [redacted] personally. I got even more angered and requested to speak to a manager or management to ask for a complete refund. The gentleman told me that Manager [redacted] Extension #[redacted] is rarely in the office. I called his extension number several times left multiple voice mails and left my contact information every time. Not once did I get a call back so I had no option but to wait until the next day to call back. I called back the next day to speak to [redacted] who surprisingly told me that my product is ready to be “shipped” keep in mind this is a month later. After a month the product was still at their establishment to my frustrated surprise. He said since I called the day before and asked for a refund he was not able to ship the product. Not only did it take a month several phone calls, and a request for a refund for the product to amazingly be ready to be shipped the day after I requested the refund. This is where it get’s interesting [redacted] informed me that in order to receive a refund I would have to repackage and ship their product back to their establishment keep in mind the product in question he initially instructed me to discard on January 26, 2015. Then he has the nerve to ask me why would I throw away salvageable parts simultaneously “thinking to myself what makes you think I know anything about salvageable parts or the auto body industry”. But what I said was that I was instructed to do so by you personally [redacted]. Every conversation we had was recorded by the company's audio recording system which I requested for him to listen to the audio recordings of our conversations so he can verify his own instructions. He told the audio recordings don’t matter regarding a refund and the only way a refund is possible is for myself to return their product back to them. I was in absolute total shock and furious to say the least! This happens to be the worst customer service, online purchase transaction, and waste of time I have ever encountered. This matter can easily be settled by listening to those recordings and quickly end this dispute. If I have to I will seek legal representation in order to acquire my refund.

Response:

These bumpers can be refurbished, I spoke to our sales representative and at notime did he instruct you to throw out a $600.00 bumper that can be repaired andresold. We offered to send you out a replacement part and have thedamaged one picked up after you received the replacement. If you did indeed throw away the parts, wewill not be able to refund you without having our product in hand. However, we are willing to warranty it out and send you a replacementorder. Thank You,

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I need to know exactly what you mean by you'll warranty it out and send me a replacement. If your intentions are to send me what I originally ordered which is a primer coated black, undamaged, with no missing parts complete bumper assembly for a 2000 two door 323Ci [redacted] then I need you to specify that.

Review: I ORDER AN E60 NAVIGATION CD CHANGER ON 8/26/2014. WHEN PART CAME IN IT WAS WRONG PART. I CONTACTED [redacted] MY PARTS SALES REP WHO SENT ME ANOTHER PART BUT IT WAS INOP WHEN RECEIVED. I ONCE AGAIN CALLED [redacted] MY PARTS SALES REP AND INFORMED I WANTED TO RETURN DUE TO ME GETTING THE RIGHT, WORKING PART LOCAL AND REQUEST A REFUND OF $553.63 PLUS SHIPPING AND HANDLING OF $26.11 TOTALING $579.74. GEOGE AUTHORIZED THE PART RETURN ON 09/26/2014. I ALSO RETAINED A RMA#.....RMA#[redacted]. I HAVE MADE NO LESS THAN A DOZEN ATTEMPTS TO GET MY REFUND AND HAVE TALKED TO "[redacted]" ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS AND HE PERSONALLY ASSURED ME THAT HE HAS SENT AND RESENT REQUEST VIA EMAIL TO ACCOUNTING WITH NO RESPONSE. I HAVE CALLED ACCOUNTING AND FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS PER AUTOMATED SYSTEM LEAVING RMA#, NAME, PHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL ADDRESS. I HAVE DONE THIS ON 6 SEPARATE OCCASIONS AND STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM BAVARIAN AUTO TO THIS DATE.Desired Settlement: I WANT A FULL REFUND OF $553.63 AND SHIPPING AND HANDLING OF $26.11 TOTALING $579.74

Review: I ordered an Auxiliary Fan Unit (Pusher Fan) from Bavarian Auto Recycling on 3/25/15. The amount was $182.55. I received the fan on 4/1/15. The fan was broken and defective. I immediately contacted the company, and asked for a new part to be sent. I was told that the company would send [redacted] to pick up the part, there was no need for me to return it. Two few weeks later a new part did not come. I contacted the company again, and, [redacted], my salesman said a new part was being inspected and it would be sent within the week. A new part did not come. I called [redacted]. He said the part he was going to send me was defective, and he was going to send another part once it passed inspection. I was told to call back within the next few days to check on the part. I called, again, the part did not pass inspection, and there were no other parts available. I asked for a refund, and [redacted] said he would issue me a refund. I received a refund claim number. The next day, I contacted accounting, but an automatic voicemail picked up. Every time I call, it is an automatic voicemail. I left messages for them to contact me about the status of the refund. They have not called. Whenever I try to call [redacted], he is on vacation or "out of the office." I still have not been issued my refund for the defective part I was sent. This company stole $182.55 from me.In addition, each time I called, I am given the run around. They act like they don't want to talk to me. They also do not inform anyone if there is a problem with a purchase. Instead, they expect you to wait around, assuming a part will be sent. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the $182.55. I was delivered a defective part which is useless.

this company is TERRIBLE!! They never had my part, told me they did, charged my card and never received anything. EVERYONE I dealt with to get refund was rude and disrespectful. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM (OR YOUR MONEY!!!) Had to contact my credit card and have them file a dispute. Hopefully I will get my credit that way...over $1,000!!

Review: Many issues in this category. The employees lied to me multiple times, they would put me on hold for almost 20 minutes then hang up on me every time I called. I was lied to about the engine I purchased, being told it was in good working condition and infact it was completely broken and useless. When I asked for information about the product I purchased I was either ignored or told they could not get it at that time. On multiple occasions the employees I spoke with would give me incredicle attitude over the phone, and put the blame on me for the product issue. Currently, I am waiting for my return refund from them, however they lied about that as well and have been waiting over a week for my money back. Please help me it is impossible for me to get anywhere with this company.Desired Settlement: I just want to settle this all out and get my money back because I feel as though they are steeling from me. Thank you.

I apologize for any inconvenience, I contacted the accounting department and they had to put a stop on the refund because you submitted a charge back with your CC company. They were in contact your credit card company and authorized the refund. Thank You,

Review: I contacted Bavarian Auto Recycling Inc. on October 28, 2013 looking to purchase a 2009 or newer cylinder head assembly for a BMW N52 engine. I was sent quote number [redacted] from Mr. [redacted] which was as follows:Part Description: ENGINE - ASSEMBLY Cylinder Head - Used Vehicle Model: 2009 BMW 328i 2DR (E92) Your Cost: ($1950.00) I agreed to the terms of the quotation and instructed Bavarian to proceed with the purchase. I was assigned order number [redacted]. My credit card was charged $2,043.63 on October 29, 2013.By January 8, 2014 I still had not received the cylinder head. I contacted Mr. [redacted], and he told me that the shipment had been lost and that he would issue a refund that would take two to seven business days. He also told me that he had a cylinder head assembly from a 2010 N52 engine that he could offer me. I asked him to proceed with the refund, and said I would provide him with new credit card information once the 2010 cylinder head was ready to ship. After ten business days I still hadn't received the refund. I called Mr. [redacted] and he told me that the 2010 cylinder head was ready to ship. On January 22, 2014 he provided me with UPS tracking information, and the shipment arrived at my shipping address on January 24, 2014. I was never asked for new credit card information, and I never received the refund on the original credit card used. The invoice attached to the shipment was dated October 28, 2013. The item description on the invoice was "2009 328i 2DR (E92) ENGINE - ASSEMBLY Cylinder Head Used". However, the cylinder head inside the box had a date of manufacture of February 21, 2007. Further, the casting number on the cylinder head was [redacted], which is not consistent with the casting number of the cylinder head used by BMW in 2009 or 2010. I very clearly was sent an older cylinder head which does not adhere to the original quotation that I agreed to. It also doesn't conform to the verbal agreement to accept shipment of a 2010 cylinder head.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund for this order, since Bavarian Auto Recycling clearly has not honored the terms of this agreement. I will return the cylinder head that I received.

Business

Response:

Our part interchange information reflected that the part sent was an exact application match for the customer's requested application and would have been a perfect fit regardless of specific casting batch numbers. The customer returned the item and disputed the charge and was issued a full charge back credit for order of $2043.63

Consumer

Response:

Consumer states the company sent me the same casting that I already had, it was a 2007 model. I did receive a refund through my credit card company but the whole process was very frustrating.

Do not do any type of business with this company. They didn't ship the part we ordered and refuse to reconcile this issue. They will not do a refund or investigation into the shipping discrepancy. In my opinion, they never shipped the $700 part to start with.

They will not return our phone calls and when we call, they leave us on hold indefinitely.

Stay far away from this company!

Review: I ordered a transmission for my 2004 BMW 745i on 4/6/15 From Bavarian auto recycling 3688 Omec Circle Rancho Cordova,CA 95742 and paid for it in full with my debit card and was told I would receive it within 7days ....every time I called to ask about the status of it there was always some excuse about why there was a hold up ....here it is 4/23/15 and I still have no part and was told I had to wait 3weeks for my money back !!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: to get my money back

Business

Response:

I do apologize for the delay, we do pre-test our transmissions in the vehicles when they arrive. We also inspect the fluid when they are being drained to ensure you will receive a product that will last. Metal flakes, burnt smell or a gritty texture is a sure sign of premature failure and this alone will keep us from sending it out, resulting in your delayed order. Your order was indeed canceled and submitted to accounting for a refund R85154 / $1673.63 Refunds can take up to a full billing cycle to process. I did contact accounting for you to try and speed things up.Thank You,

Review: I placed a order to Bavarian auto recycling for two headlights for $1224.88 on 03/05/14 and found them cheaper and canceled them the next day they said they would refund the money back to the card, I talked to several managers and for weeks they told me it was processed and would be back on the card on Friday 04/18/14 and now it's Saturday 04/19/14Desired Settlement: I just want my money refunded

Business

Response:

Sorry for the inconvenience with this order. The $1224.88 has been credited to the original card used for this order but it may take up to one billing cycle to post to your account. If this credit is not showing on your account by 4-30, please contact us directly so we can track it with your card company. Thank you

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I was told this same response over a month ago and still have not received anything. Far as talking to someone, I have not talked to anyone. Every time I seem to call and talk to someone they redirect me to accounting where I leave a message and no one yet still has called me back. It's going on two months and I still have not received a refund or a call.

Review: On 12/29/14 I paid Bavarian Auto Recycling $247.03 for an automobile seat and seat belt part that was never delivered. I have called every month (sometimes several times) and have been told 1) the products are on their way. 2) the product is sitting right in front of me and someone didn't do their job so I'll get right on it. 3) the seat you ordered was damaged in transit so we are sending you a replacement, and finally, 4) you should've gotten a refund credited to your credit card as we sent this matter over to accounting. Several calls to accounting, several messages left with my "RMA" number [redacted]. Order #[redacted] Spoke with "[redacted]", "[redacted]" and too many to remember.Desired Settlement: They took my money and their customer service staff said the accounting office will credit my credit card account.
