Company owns foreclosed home behind mine - inground pool uncovered and no fence around pool. What little fence is left is falling into my propety.
This company owns 157 Castle Heights Ave in Pennsville, NJ. They bought it at foreclosure. I live in the property that abuts the backyard. The property has been in disrepair since prior to foreclosure, however, since the "Bank" took over the inground pool is now uncovered and the fence surrounding the property has begun falling into my property. There has been missing piece of fence for a long period of time. Our local statutes REQUIRE properties with pools to have a fence. I can not let my toddler child play in our backyard for fear of her safety - both of the pool itself and the decrepit fence.

Desired Outcome

I want the company to FOLLOW THE LAW and provide an appropriate fence around 157 Castle Heights Ave.

I want to pay this account off in full "today"! However, since I'm a senior citizen my son handles all of my accounts. I need someone to work with us
My account number is XXXXXXX. Sometime in April; Bayview Loan took over my account from Citi-financial. When that happened my direct deposit stopped which caused a few of my payments to fall behind. April's payment of $197.26 was paid despite it still being showed on my July statement as past due. There is currently $1,197.26 listed as unapplied/suspense funds on my account. My son made a payment by phone of $1,000 in June. Hence, the total of $1,187,26. Why hasn't this been applied yet? The remaining balance is $1,186.52 that I am willing to pay by phone "today". I simply need someone to accept a payment from my son as he maintains and pays all of my accounts since I am a senior citizen. My son's name is ***. Can we add him for a 24 hour hold in order for this payment to be made? I'm even open to 3-way calling him if that helps. I've sent a letter in the past, and even asked for him to be added to my account for 24hrs to no avail. Can someone please work with me on this to get this account paid off?

Desired Outcome

Apply to my account the suspense or unapplied funds of $1,197.26 ASAP. Then please work with my son to accept a final payment on this account. My son can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX. Lastly, please send me a receipt, a letter relinquishing any holds, liens, etc.

I received a payoff letter from Bayview Loans dated 03 Aug 2018. The payoff amount on this letter was $1,212.45. I sent this payment in, and it CLEARED my account on 10 Aug 2018 by Cashiers Check. The most recent monthly statement for Aug sent to me (see attached doc) is dated 12 Aug 2018 which is after when my final payment was made. I'm not sure why Aug's monthly statement doesn't show this payment. In addition the total amount owed on the statement shows $1,183.56. The difference is $28.89 that I appear to be owed. Bottom line is that I have paid this account in FULL. I need my statement to reflect that, and not past due or delinquent payment amounts that are incorrect. Also I am requesting a payoff letter that shows this account has been paid in full, and a receipt of payment.

company has violated my mortgage contract non stop sense illegally obtaining ownership of said mortgage
November 2015 continuing through today this company has broken the mortgage contract agreed to by us through the original mortgage company. They have falsified documents to show us owing money for an escrow we do not have. They sent request for monies paid to insurance and tax agency for our property when they actually paid nothing. They claim to have put insurance on our property but it was already insured. They send documents stating that we requested a loan modification, which we have never done. They do not apply money we pay directly to our mortgage, which is a direct requirement of our mortgage. Changing terms of our mortgage without our permission. We have been bombarded with collection letters, threats of foreclosure and false totals and amounts due. They send people to our home and they come on our property and take pictures of our property. At the time of the transfer of our mortgage to this company they were immediately informed that we had disputed the sale of the mortgage due to the dispute of the balance. I have repeatedly requested the name of the actual owner of my mortgage and get nothing. Today when I called to dispute the latest anticipated escrow disbursement statement I was told by the computer my number was recognized and I would be connected in one minute. 5 minutes and 37 seconds later I hung up.

Desired Outcome

This mortgage balance, interest and other corrections must be made. The harassing letters and visits must stop. This is a mortgage not some overdue debt. If this violation is not corrected we believe they are in violation of the terms and are required to forfeit the ownership of the mortgage.

After careful review we see that again Bayview has not addressed our concerns but instead constantly change the subject to us being behind in our mortgage. item1-We stopped the sell of our mortgage twice because of the dispute. When we found out the sell went through we contacted citifi and bayview and disputed the sell. When we talked to bayview again we voiced our concern with the fact that we did not agree with the balance. Bayview sent debt validation letters at which time we called and restated the fact that we did not agree with the amount of debt. This has been ignored. A *** would not even continue the conversation with me when I told her the balance was wrong. Item 2-bayview response was a good description of how a mortgage works but it has nothing to do with item #2 Bayview told me there was no reason to make a payment because they would hold it in suspense until I pay all amounts due. I told them one payment was due and I wanted to pay it. They said they did not know what payment was due but I missed one. Until I pay it they will hold all moneys in suspense until I catch up. This goes against our contract which says when we make a payment it is to be applied immediately. And my contract states that a payment is to be paid every thirty days with the fourth starting the mortgage. Iten #3 We contacted Treasurer if Indianapolis and they show no payments made by any other persons other than us. So we do not know who you paid $270.74. When the threat of insurance was made we called Bayview and told them we had insurance, told them they could call our agent and he could give what you needed. He gave you a deck page for the current insurance, what you asked for, and you assume we have no insurance. You will find previous deck page attached. As our new mortgage company you should have our file and previous information including the insurance information. You have never shown insurance information so we only have you telling us you paid insurance premiums. I do not believe you can have a policy for the same amount we have the house covered for, that is what we thought could be criminal. In no way have you dealt with the fact that you have repeatedly tried to force us to change our mortgage and add an escrow. Item #4 - I will try to respond even though bayview did not respond to the original complaint on this one.We have received many offers to modify our loan. We have never asked for any of them. When bayview notified us of an missed october payment we proved the payment. They verified with citifi that payment was made but that we missed another. They could not verify the other. Bayview said they would investigate. hey never returned with a payment. Just kept hounding us. Just of the notices we have kept we have 5 "you requested this" offers. From the beginning we have made it very clear to citifi and to bayview, we do not want "out from under our house". It is not a burden. And although we have had times that we struggled we will always have our mortgage payment. We even called a mortgage counselor to help us deal with this collection/mortgage company and he was dumbfounded at the fact this company thought we could find a "cheaper" place to live with a family of three. You mention on 6/24/16 bayview noticed we had a balance due on our homeowners insurance. We had a balance because we paid monthly. After being informed we had no escrow our insurance company was kind enough to refund your money and accept our monthly payments. Unfortunately our insurance company said they no longer had the insurance we required and at renewal we had to find another company. So now bayview has not only interfered with our ability to easily pay on our mortgage but to have homeowners insurance without issues. You claim the loan has been "reverted back" to a non-escrow account. We say we have never given permission or agreed to a change of any kind. Our insurance refunded your money and the city of Indy says you never paid. We do not owe you any money for any escrow. and never agreed to any $9.44 being deducted from our payment. We have believed from the beginning that our money would be applied as it is legal required because we have a contract. If any of our money has been applied to any escrow fees by bayview we hereby demand they be immediately returned to our account and any and all interest be adjusted accordingly. Item #5-(all papers we have, not included are ones not kept) 20 "notice of default", 5 "you requested this" offers, 5 "get back on track" offers 9 "introducing your new agent" offers, 6 "new team assigned to help" offers, 8 "home ownership counseling" offers, 43 "you are in default" demands and 4 "annual escrow disclosure statements" for a mortgage with no escrow. Item6-car parks in middle of street they walk on property, take pics, they stop in middle of street in front of neighbors and take a pic, pull up fast front bumper to my front bumper laughing run up my front hill and put smart phone up to my address label on house. First this is not business like, it is rude, even harassment. Some might see it intimidating. And maybe you feel you have the right. However we are not in debt, we are not behind on our payments. We are not in default. And We will not be intimidated by your practices. From 12/4/05-10/4/XX XXX payments due, we paid 118 and had a deferment which citifi already verified. At the time you took over our mortgage we owed 11/4/15 and tried to pay that month on three occasions at which time we found out the sell went through and that bayview had no intention of allowing us to make a payment, maybe no intention of allowing us to keep our home. Item #7 We were never asked for detail regarding citifi balances. if you go by the activity statement from citifi it does show the wrong balance. you did not provide a statement from citifi so we can not verify what balance you were given. we have an activity statement from citifi that shows $34,074.57 for the balance. we can say after trying to figure the correct balance we find the balance off by at least $1500. With the extra interest charged daily since the errors by citifi and now bayview we do not know the amount we have been over charged. We lost our mortgage insurance because of this matter and that too was an issue holding up the sell of our mortgage to bayview.
Your response to Item #8 is no answer to the treatment we have received over and over buy this collection agency. I was told I had one minute wait. Your computer acknowledge my phone number and linked it to my account. I was given ad after ad and even transferred. It was like the game that we have played since this mortgage sell started. If bayview does have an activity statement from citifi than they have seen the halt of the first two sells. That was because we disputed the sell. We have heard no mention of the *** that we spoke with first. The one we told of the wrong balance and the sell dispute.

They are a rip-off. Not a honest company

My loan was paid up to the principal the sold to Bayview. They classified it as a default loan and ruined my credit.

Regarding Loan Number:XXXXXXX My name is ***. I had this loan with CitiFinancial who decided to sell the loan to Bayview. It was paid unto the balance principal only. All the interests were paid. The company sold it to Bayview after all interests was paid. After I was notified by Bayview Loan Servicing, LLC they stated two choices of paying the full remainder or splitting into eight payments each being of $239.78 plus a down payment of $268.69. I stated then and was assured that it wasn't being refinanced. I made the statement that the interest was already paid on the loan. I was assured that it was just the principal and no interest would be taken. I had chosen the split payment. I now, at this time, understand that Bayview had made this a defaulted loan settlement. This being a defaulted loan is not the case. I want this defaulted loan status and any so called late payments removed from my credit/credit history. They have been reporting this to the credit bureaus, and have been destroying my credit. From the beginning after creating an online account and making the payments there was no access through the online account. Payments did not show and I kept receiving notifications of non-payment. I repeatedly called Stephen Rodriguez and customer service about this and they assured me to ignore those notices that my account showed it was being payed, and that it was an automatic mailing system issue. They stated the payments were being put aside till all payments were collected and then would be payed all at once. They repeatedly had said their system isn't designed to show on the online account site. Of course I was worried about this, but they give you no choice. They also stated that is the way there system was setup for my account and that it wasn't defaulted as stated. After making the December down payment the January payment was mistakenly paid at a higher amount than what was scheduled. February's payment was made at the $239.78. March's payment was made over the phone on March 28 confirmation# XXXXXXX, but was kept in a pending transaction. I had left out of state for a week or so. My wife told me on the trip that she saw the still pending transaction. When I arrived back home I contacted Bayview and was told there was a mistake on my banks side. I had contacted the bank and they assured me that it was Bayview's issue and that the pending transaction meant they had access to the account. I called Bayview back and informed them of this. I put the payment through again and still had a pending. I put the same info through again and it finally went through. The final confirmation # was XXXXXXX. The issue was on Bayview's side not mine nor my bank's fault as repeatedly stated by Bayview's representatives/customer support. I wasn't late and I had the money at all times in my bank account. The issue was Bayview not taking it for "whatever" reason. When the payment is showing pending that means they had accessed to my account. All payments have been made, and I had never defaulted on the loan. This should have never been reported as a defaulted loan. This needs to be corrected to my credit/credit history. I want to see this rectified and verified through the credit bureaus immediately.

Desired Outcome

All payments have been made, and I had never defaulted on the loan. This should have never been reported as a defaulted loan. This needs to be corrected to my credit/credit history. I want to see this rectified and verified through the credit bureaus immediately.

I believe Bayview is not apply payments correctly and billing for things not needed on my mortgage. Principal has not gone down as much as it should.
I have been with Bayview Loan Servicing for a number of years. In Sept of 2013 my mortgage balance was $184,123.00 with a 3.375% interest rate. After 5 years of payments in July 2018 my mortgage balance is $174.874.00. I send in payments of $1,000.00 which more than my monthly mortgage payment of $867.78. $197.76 goes to my principal, $490.73 goes to interest, $179.29 goes to my escrow and the remaining $122.22 they put into a fund call UNAPPLIED FUNDS and not towards my principal or past due balance. I also found where they can charge $400 - $675 for appraisals, which each year I get someone at my home saying that they are here on behalf of my mortgage company to do an appraisal. Why do they do this each year and if so, are they charging me for the appraisal? At the rate my principal is being paid, it will take me 73 years to pay off my loan. How is this correct, how can a company apply more than half of the payment towards interest at 3.375%, how can a company take you extra payment money and not apply it towards past due balance or the principal. I am not sure where to turn or who to contact. I can not hire an attorney, I do not have the money. Please look into this matter for me. I am behind on my mortgage and trying to catch up, but if I send in extra money that is not applied to my balance due or principal. Why should I continue?

Desired Outcome

I would like someone to see if these practices are just and that they are not stealing from home owners. I would like a review of my mortgage, payment history, and billing history. I am seeking help in finding where my payments are going to and if there funds that have not been applied correctly.

Estate administration practices & negligence
Bayview Loans is refusing to accept administration rights for the state of NC.

August/2014, My father passed *** whereas the mortgage loan was in both of my parents name, from the date of the death of my father, my mother made several documented attempt's to obtain information as to have the mortgage refinanced to obtain lower interest rate since Bayview's rip off rate of 10.5%

As I said my mother was meticulous on record keeping, whereas after she passed, I found her notebook records on this ordeal in which we feel contributed to her stress & possible death, the law's in NC state that if the spouse of a deceased is listed on the original deed or mortage in this case both was satisfied with the probates courts in Brunswick NC, however Bayview would not accept this NC law.

August/15/2017, I took over the estate as a legal appointed Administrator and have fought this for almost a year now, whereas I'm not the legal administrator of the estate, however I spoke with
Ervin Ibarra & then his supervisor Rafael Bonafonte multiple times.

5/17/18 at 9:59am Mr Bonafonte was able to dig into the records, original deed & mortgage and found my mothers signature and was told that they can now accept my administration rights, whereas supposedly the loan was modified for me to begin payments representing the estate and was asked to give them 2 day's to process the over the phone payment that was made on 5/31/18.

Payment made on 5/31/18, 7/1/18 received notice payment is in the arrears, & not received, late fees applied, whereas I attempted to call customer support and was told that they could not speak with me as further documentation was needed, even though I have documentation from Bayview that the loan was modified to accept me as the administrator, through the 5/17/18 conversation with Mr. Bonafonte.

I also asked about the mortgage life insurance policy that when my father passed, should have taken care of this, but was told there was no such policy, even though I have it in the original loan documentation that was through Citigroup, also listed in the escrow???

This is my last step as I've already started legal procedures with my attorney Trest & Twiggs, whereas they contacted their legal team to no avail, I'm guessing it's lawsuit time, didn't want to have to go this route but it looks as if we are forced too.

Desired Outcome

Loan dissolved.

How is the corrupt, non professional, loan servicer still able to operate? There are so many lawsuits against Bayview - they steal homeowners monies and still pursue frivolous foreclosures acts. Let's set up a class action suit NOW!

This company is absolutely ridiculous to deal with. After I received a letter from my town stating my taxes were not paid (two months after the due date) this is still not resolved now three months after due date. I offered to pay them myself and take a credit on my escrow they refuse. They do not return calls and their representatives are condescending. I don't understand why I am required to pay my bills monthly, but they are not.... and now a lien can be placed on my home! If this is not resolved by them by 7.10.18 I will pay my own taxes.

I tried to pay my mortgage over the phone and they didn't allow it.
Account # XXXXXXX. Since Bayview took over the servicing of my loan in October of 2016, they have held my mortgage payment checks for up to 10 days after receipt. Rather than stressing over why they werent cashing my check month after month, I decided to use their automated bill pay over the phone to make my payments. After my numerous complaints to the CFPB, including a recent Notice of Error over fees I found inappropriate, they now are not even allowing me to pay my mortgage over the automated service. In the past when I used that service, it recognized my account by the phone number, and would ask me to confirm the last 4 of my social, before asking if I wanted to make a payment. Very smooth, simple transaction. Today, after following all the same steps, I was told to hold for a representative. I went through the same process 11 times over 52 minutes, giving the social, etc., and then being told by the automated service to please hold for a representative. I tried it from another phone number not in their system, and as soon as I put in my account number I went around the same circles again. I have no doubt that this company is deliberately trying to force a default.

Desired Outcome

I would like to pay my mortgage payment with no hassle. They refused to send me a statement for over a year, because I was in Bankruptcy (13) and they knew that they didn't have to. They have repeatedly added fees to my mortgage, that have each been challenged and were later removed, but this abuse has been ongoing and it needs to stop. I just want to be able to pay my mortgage without the constant threat of losing my home. I've not missed a payment in 27 years, and if I had no equity in this house, I'm SURE they wouldn't be doing this to me.

On page 2 of the pdf that Bayview attached in their response, that includes Bayview's response, their response is incomplete. I was not transferred to a representative, the automated voice told me to HOLD for a representative, and at that point I went through the procedure of inputting all of my information again, 16 MORE times, each time being told to hold for a representative, but never actually reaching a human. On page 3 of the pdf, Bayview enclosed documents IN LIEU of items I specifically requested, which was not even part of THIS specific complaint. Those documents were requested in a Notice of Error that I sent on *** 30th, which they had already responded to. Additionally, in their haste to send me non requested documents, Bayview included TWO Title documents, both with all of the same information, except that ONE version had the original title company redacted and another title company in its place. This opens a whole new can of worms! Why are there two identical documents with two different title companies (see page 70, 72, and pages 17 & 18). Finally, on page 6 of their response, they offer a customer service number which is the SAME automated number that I was unable to reach a human on, once I entered my account number as prompted. This is the same number that prior to my Notice of Error, I was able to pay my mortgage payments on. After my NOE was received AND responded to appropriately, I was no longer able to make my mortgage payment via this automated number once my account number was recognized.

Although my concerns were acknowledged, the explanations are not satisfactory. It seems that the various departments are not working together, as I get a minimum of two letters a week telling me that Bayview is looking into my concerns and that they will respond promptly. One letter last week appeared to be the 4th response to my initial complaint filed in ***. I just want to pay my contractual obligation in peace with no hassle. In 28 years I have missed no payments, and there is no reason for Bayview to cause me such distress nor to make my ability to make monthly payments so difficult.

Bayview is saying i'm not paying my payments. And keeps saying i'm 4 months past due when I paid $1720 which is what they requested to get caught up.
Bayview took over my mortgage from suntrust. They have been deceitful ever since. I paid all the payments to get caught up. Now they are saying that im $3790 past due after paying $1720 which is what they told me to pay to get the payments caught up. They have many bad reviews and complaints on their Revdex.com about not applying payments to peoples mortgage. I don't appreciate them trying to play with my feelings and emotions and falsely accusing me of not paying my payments when they took them out of my bank account and I have proof of it too! This is stealing my money and I will not have it! Bayview has sent people to my home twice asking them to call them asap and I did talk to them several times and paid two payments. They claim they have the right to inspect my home. But I don't appreciate them lying saying they are trying to reach me even though I have called them and my bank statement with them taking my money out of $860 will show I talked with them. I will not have it! with them trying this deceitful and lying to me like they have donw to others!

Bayview escrow amount increased from $1273.63 monthly to $1425.63. I have contacted Bayview Loan Servicing on several occasions and have been given the run around. My Real Estate Taxes in 2017 was $2,990 and 2018 taxes is $2,964.97 which is only a $25.03 decrease. In addition, the home owners insurance went from 2017 $1049 to 2018 $1112 which is a $63 increase. Furthermore, Safety Insurance disbursed $1106 towards escrow 2018 due to error on their part for no refunding it back in 2017. At this point I'm really frustrated as this increase is additional $152 more a month that does not make any sense even with the increase of the minimal amounts. I'm unsure at this point who I need to contact to get this rectified as it seems no one seems to care to listen the fact that I should have had a -$1143.97 credit on this escrow in bringing my payment down not increase. Please help.

Thank you for the clarification as this was not stated when called or on escrow breakdown received. There is a missing payment $1118 check number 3244. I've also attached the new insurance policy on 6.13.18 through the website and emailed (see attached). Again, thank you.

Only question is the monthly payment did not adjust after escrow payment. Thank you so much!

If you happen to make a partial payment to this mortgage servicing company they apply the funds directly to principle. This leads to them showing you not have paid your mortgage in full and being charged late fees. After one phone call to correct the situation I was assured that the funds would be applied appropriately. A month and a half later I found out that the situation was never corrected and called again. After a lengthy phone call I was assured that this time the situation was fixed. Another phone call a week later confirmed that indeed it had not been fixed and that, while they would waive one late charge, they could not waive all of them. After becoming irate on the phone as the late charges were due to their accounting error they agreed to waive them all, but at tis point I am still not sure that they have applied the funds correctly to my account to show it being current. This company is very difficult to deal with. On their own statements it says partial payments will be put into suspense, awaiting further funds to then be applied to the amount due, Instead they automatically get applied to principle which results in them saying you have missed your required monthly payment. At this point you have to call and fight to get the funds taken out of principle and applied to your monthly payment, as well as fight to have any late fees reversed. TOTAL NIGHTMARE!! It would be one thing if they fixed it when you called the first time but I am on month three now and still not sure it has been fixed.

Requested payoff amount is over 10,000 more than listed and no one can explain why.
I am trying to get refinanced to a reasonable rate and this company will not cooperate. Refuse to let me talk to supervisors and supervisors never return phone calls. Now I am trying to find why my payoff is more than 10,000 more than it should be and no one can explain it to me

Desired Outcome

Correction of the payoff amount TODAY!

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
That is correct, Bayview DID NOT and WOULD NOT refinance this loan. They would not work with me on any assistance in any manner. So I went and found a loan company that would. That company reached out to Bayview on numerous occasions and were denied information, including payoff and statements about payments. Bayview also withheld $658.00 until after the loan was paid off even though I provided overwhelming proof that the payoff amount did not reflect this $658.00 money that was in the unapplied funds section of my statement. Bayview's delay tactics and failure to properly list payments so it would reflect the correct amount for my payoff, which caused a inaccurate amount to be brought to the bankruptcy court to apply for my new loan. this in turn caused me to pay over $1500.00 to actually close my loan.
Also as I did research on Bayview Loan Servicing, I did not find one positive review and actually found many customers that had been treated the same way or even worse. This company should be ashamed of how they treat people.

I have been working with Bayview Loan Servicing on a Loan Modification since my husband was paralyzed in an accident and was trying to work part time while on SSDI. We have always spoke to Bayview about our desire to keep the property, It's in perfect shape and we have a lot of equity. We have always communicated with them and we always make payments. My husband broke his back and suffered a spinal cord injury. He's paralyzed and lost a toe already. He has always tried to work to supplement SSDI but the past year he has been unable to . He has contracted an infection on his paralyzed leg and he's facing amputation of that leg. I've missed work taking him to appointments. We filed for a medication and made the modifications payments as requested. Then, when they sent the final paperwork, they requested that it be modified. This took us some extra time because he's been so sick. IN the past we always got the paperwork back in because he didn't have to leave the house to have it modified. He's been in and out of the hospital for the past year - most recently this past Saturday. We did send the paperwork back and we did have it notarized. Now, Bayview is saying TOO LATE - we are going to foreclose. When I spoke to The Customer Rep *** I begged for a soluation, but all she keep repeating was that it was going into foreclosue - all over a few weeks late paperwork that they did ultimately receive. She wouldn't transfer me to a supervisor and she wouldn't say anything to help. I begged for a solution - but she kept saying no! She was so rude and so evasive, I'm afraid I'm going to lose my house. Where will we live. We have three kids, two in college and my husband is facing amputation. We are willing to pay and did pay the modification plan. I don't even know what to pya this month. She informed me that I wasn't likely to get another modification in her opion.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I want the modification that we paid for for 4 months instituted. They have all of our notarizied paperwork - I sent in on *** 30th and she said they uploaded in on June 6th. I don't understand why she gave me such a hard time.

Please see the formal response attached, thank you. TS 06/28/2018

Bayview changed my interest rate on July 1st bill. Per the terms of my mortgage note it does not to adjust until November 1st as it does every year
Account #XXXXXX
July 1, 2018 billing

I have an adjustable mortgage which adjust on November 1st yearly and is clearly stated in my Mortgage Note. Bayview sent me bill due on July 1st, 2018 with a higher interest rate. The current rate is 3.375 and they adjusted it to 4% unlawfully.

On June 11 & June 14 I spoke with a person named *** XXX-XXX-XXXX and it still is not resolved. She said she sent emails to the deparment/person that can change the interest back to what it should be but has not received a response. She verified that my note does indeed call for an adjustment on November 1st (NOT on July 1)has it does every year. *** said that she is unable to make the change but could not give me a phone # or name of a person that I can speak to to get this handled.

Desired Outcome

Correct their mistake and re-bill me for the correct mortgage amount using the correct interest rate. This servicing company should be investigated for unfair/illegal business practices. I believe this was done purposely with hopes that I wouldn't catch it. I can send a copy of the mortgage note and the previous bills showing the interest rates

I had requested that my account be reviewed and get answers about this mysterious amount. No one can give me any clear answer about amount that is due for the final payoff. *** was supposed to call me back by the end of last week and I still have not heard from her or anyone at Bayview. I was supposed to close on a Refi Monday, June 18, 2018. I closed on Tuesday and it cost me an extra 1500 dollars to close due to misinformation and inaccuracies in their accounting methods. No answers from Bayview were simple or straightforward. Still no one can call back in a timely or even ever. The documentation provided is broad and not direct answers.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I finally was contacted by *** about my "account review and reconciliation". As I expected, their recods show that I had an over payment of over 655 dollars. In the rebuttal I received, there were several mistakes on Bayview's part, but I am not going to get into it as it is an obvious waste of time.
This "company" has made everything a hassle from day one that I had contact with them. Here are the glaring issues:
1. Customer service - refusal to answer questions in a timely manner. Many times, when calling in and being "on hold for a supervisor", the call would get disconnected. No one ever called back. Refusal to transfer to a supervisor when requested. If you do get to a supervisor, they have no answers and will promise to call you back, but will do so at a much later date than promised if at all.
2 Accounting practice - As stated by *** and several other agents at Bayview. "When a payoff is requested, any money payed to the account is put in suspense until the payoff is competed or the date is passed." To me, this says that they know how much the payoff is for, but in my case, that was not true. In the course of 3 weeks, we received 3 different payoff amounts and then in actuality, they still were incorrect.
3. No answers were provided or even forthcoming until the Revdex.com was contacted. Once they received the complaint, I began to get answers, but they were still not accurate. When you press the issue and try to compare numbers with them, they can't because "they do not have access to the information needed".
4. No one couls accurately tell me if I was ahead, behind or on time with my payments. From day 1 when I contacted them, I asked this question and I received many answers up until right before my payoff was requested. From February of 2017 until April of this year, the answer was I was on time or sue for the current month. Once a payoff was requested, it went from you are on time, to a little ahead to a month behind. I even asked at one point how much I was behind and NO ONE COULD TELL ME! I calculated the numbers and made a 500 dollar payment on 6/11/18 and I had *** say on more than one occasion that she did not see that payment or it wasn't posted properly.
In closing and in all honesty, Bayview will never provide an answer that will satisfy my complaint. Had they provided any of the information requested, I would not still have an outstanding overage in their hands and waiting for a check from them that should be here "by the end of this week or next week at the latest." Bayview is an discourteous, rude, demeaning, disrespectful and unethical company. Do you know that in all my research, I have not found one positive comment on any web page or social media site? After dealing with them for the last year and a half, I can truly understand why that is.
