Best Price moved a couch for us from our office downtown to our new home in the suburbs.The owner made it so easy. He quoted me a time and price right on the phone. They showed up on time, wrapped the couch professionally and delivered it right away. They were very friendly and professional. A heck of a lot cheaper and easier than renting a van for the day and lugging furniture ourselves. I will call them next time I need something moved or next time I purchase a large item in which I have to pay delivery charges.

[redacted] Lines Relocation is a moving broker and ultimately responsible, yes. However, on the Revdex.com complaint I filed in [redacted] on them, they pointed the finger at Best Price.
Best Price was supposed to deliver our furniture within 4-9 days not 22 days. Also, Best Price even failed to pack and move many items from our house in [redacted] to [redacted]
I have a complaint with the Revdex.com of [redacted] on [redacted] and have not had any luck on the problems of price switching (bait and switch) and the conditions they brought our household items to us. Many boxes smashed, furniture damaged, toys destroyed.

The contract that the customer signed is not with Best Price Moving. According to that contract deliveries are performed within 30 business days from the date the customer is available. Any delivery times given were only estimates and not guaranteed days. I was never offered a "guarantee delivery package" nor was I told about a delivery window. I was guaranteed delivery when I booked over the phone and again by the gentlemen that picked up my stuff for no later then Tuesday. I received a call Sunday after filing this that my things would be delivered between 1-5 on Sunday 10/5/14. After 4 pm I received another call that said they would arrive between 10-11 pm. A friend I stayed up and waited no one arrived. Nor did my neighbors ever see a moving truck. I called today to be told that they do not know where my things are only that they are in storage somewhere and I will have to pay. This is unacceptable. Legal council and a police report is my next step.

This is not acceptable. I am paying the funds to the storage to get my things. But I was home 1-5 pm waiting for delivery as scheduled. Then I was told they would not arrive until 10-11 pm. This is unacceptable because there is no way they could have unloaded my thing at this hour due to curfew. I went out to dinner but was home by 7:30. The friend I was with can verify this. I was home watching the game the rest of the night. No one knocked on my door. I looked outside around 9:30 to see if there was any activity. My neighbor was sitting outside, he had been out there for over a half hour and never seen a moving truck arrive. I was up until 11 PM then took a shower and went to bed. As for the photo it could have been taken at 1 AM as far as I know and even if the moving truck arrived at 9 PM they could not of moved in my things at that time due to curfew. Though I do not believe that they were there at this time. I will be seeking a full refund for this. I have had to buy many items to get by and I am keeping each receipt.

The driver contacted the customer when he arrived at the delivery address. He called and texted the customer to let him know that he is outside waiting. The phone records and a screenshot of the driver's phone show us that he sent a message to the customer notifying him that he was waiting outside for over 20 minutes. That message was sent around 9:30 pm and we can provide proof of that if required.
We have done everything possible to deliver this customer as fast as possible. The driver was there when he was supposed to and the customer was not present for the delivery.

Best Price Moving Inc. ("Best Price") moved my personal belongings from Chicago to North Carolina.

At first, the sales agent with Best Price, Lisa, was extremely persistent and logged an unbelievable amount of emails and phone calls to obtain my business. After low balling my estimate to win my business, the service went out the window from that point on.

It was apparent from the start that Best Price exhibited an extreme lack of care/respect for my belongings, as my items were poorly packages and thrown on to the truck. This lack of care continued throughout the move and delivery of my items, which resulted in significant monetary and personal losses.

When I attempted to call the customer service line to help remediate issues, including tracking down lost and undelivered items, I ran into a wall. No one could help me and I never recieved the call backs I was promised - despite my persistent efforts.

They also had a bunch of hidden fees and extra charges they threw on during both pickup and delivery - despite the many vocal promises from the Sales staff I was given that my estimate was final.

All in all, I estimated over $2,000 in losses from all grievances.

Best Price should consider putting this same effort they have into winning business as the care of the move, as I am confident my experience was not unique.

The movers were so professional and went straight to work even before they were on the clock. The were super friendly and helpful. The move was difficult because we were moving out of a stacked townhouse complex but they were pros! Would definitely use them again

I am a paying customer of Best Price Moving and Storage and have the paper work and receipts to prove it. Both companies are placing the blame on each other so clearly they are both in the wrong and should own up to their poor communication and customer service.

The customer's contract and paperwork is with American Moving & Storage. Best Price Moving & Storage was hired as a carrier for the customer. All communications about delivery and other issues have to be done through an American Moving & Storage representative. They are the customer's point of contact. August 1st was the customer's first available delivery date and not a guaranteed delivery window. Any claims for delays must be done through American Moving & Storage.

I am rejecting this response because: Only after we contacted Revdex.com did we received a check for only $81.00. This doesn't even cover the cost of the bike replacement. The 1970 Schwinn Pea Picker was a classic bike that they missed placed and for us to replaced it they start for $300.00 up to $2650.00on EBay. Also the other damages on the oak floor of our old house, Oak Head Board bed cracked , Chipped Porcelain lamp and Iron board broken frame.

I spent hours calling different moving companies as we had to arrange our move pretty fast during a very busy season-in August. Some companies just said they had no trucks available. Best Price was very accommodating with our schedule and we had an excellent experience! Good movers, reasonable price. I have had movers in the past that left much to be desired. Not these guys. They worked hard and were efficient, competent and friendly. Nothing was broken or damaged. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Would definitely use them again. Cant thank you enough for making this a pleasant and painless experience.

Our staff did not go through her items everything is sealed in storage units until the customer is ready for delivery. We are sorry she has damaged items and we advise her to file a claim by going to www.mymoveclaim.com so she may get compensated per contract.

Best Price Moving was thoroughly professional in its approach and the attention to the detail that was paid by them, led to a completely successful moving project for me.
They looked after each and every aspect of the job to perfection, right from the first visit when they assessed and evaluated my requirement to the final unpacking of my stuff at my new home. All the tasks were properly scheduled and completed in time, so there were no hassles for me. Also, the services are absolutely affordable, in addition to being of high standards. All the items were transported in perfect condition, without even a single scratch or any other kind of damage. Amazing service. Was very stressed about my removal and had a lot of questions for the documentation. All of my questions were answered in couple hours time and made my moving much easier. Arrived with no damages, and the price was very reasonable. If I ever move again, that is a company I will always use.

Best Price Movers brought my stuff from Chicago to [redacted] We were in contact with [redacted] who works at Best Price movers and said she would call us back with a refund and we never heard from her.

The customer will need to file a claim for delivery delay with American Moving & Storage and they will get compensated per contractual terms. As far as the cost of the move is concerned, the customer had more than double the amount of items she was quoted for. That is the reason her price went up. The balance was confirmed with the customer after the pick up of her items. Without balance confirmation, the shipment cannot be sent out for delivery.

I highly recommend this company! They do what they say and are trustworthy people to work with.

After researching many moving companies (about 10) myself, Best Price was the one that gave me best cost/benefit. The foreman was always helpful on the phone to arrange everything for the moving day. When the big day arrived, I had two guys and a truck. The guys were very gentle with our furniture and unbelievable fast. Although I lived in a small 1 br. apartment, and had few furniture, I moved in to a big townhouse with 4 bedrooms, and even though the 3 stories, the guys did everything in almost 3 hours. As I knew, I had to pay for the full time charge (minimum 4 hours and 1/2 for travelling charge), but overall was worthy. I had some few scratches in my furniture, but I just ignored it, because I know such things are difficult to avoid it.

The company's response is unacceptable because the initial verbal promise from "[redacted]" was that my items would be delivered in 7 days. Not business days and certainly not 2 to 10 business days as outlined in the message from the company yesterday. When I spoke with "[redacted]" from their unprofessional dispatch area, she told me that it was 2 to 7 business days and even that time has passed without an update or further information. The only correspondence from this company has been an updated bill that does not reflect the amount due in the bill given to me at the time of pick up on the 21st of August. It is over the amount by $100 without cause or explanation. [redacted] also told me that I would receive a delivery update on September 3rd and today is that date. I did NOT receive a call or any other information from the company about the location of my property. I am seeking a full refund of the price of the move.
