The short review, Best Price Moving is exceptional! The long review, They came to our apartment earlier than expected (which was perfect) and they were able to move all of our items to their truck well under 90 minutes. Not only did they beat us to our home, they were already preparing to unload the truck. Once they were ready to unloading, they laid down soft carpet all throughout the house to prevent any damage to our floors (hardwood) and delivered each box or item exactly where we wanted it. They were the definition of professional, quick, and amazing! The team were all very nice. I would not only recommend these guys as your first choice, but I will definitely be using them in the future! Thank you again Best Price Moving, you made our move perfect.

I highly advise potential customers to look elsewhere for a moving company. Here's my story:

I hired this company to handle my items in a move across the country from Chicagoland to Southern California. Booking my move was effortless- the sales associate I spoke with was very polite and informative. The movers that arrived to my apartment were also polite and made sure all of my items that I carefully packed in heavy duty totes were secured by adding extra tape to the outside of the containers. They even made a second stop to pick up all of my classroom items that I needed for my new school. Everything was going well!

When it came to delivery of my property everything went horribly wrong and quickly. I could not get in touch with the Best Price Moving associates to confirm a delivery date. I called several times, and when I eventually did reach someone there was no information they could relay to me. I asked to speak to the associate I initially spoke with about my move and was told that she had left the company. Paraphrasing what I was told by one of Best Price's associates was that this company was not "like Goldman Sachs." Employees of Best Price Moving are not "there because of the benefits" and employees have a "high turnover rate."

Once a delivery date was confirmed, I was told I needed to ensure that a large delivery truck - an 18 wheeler - would be able to access my location. Since my delivery was to an apartment complex I was not sure if the truck would fit. I was shocked to hear that I would have to pay an additional $400 to have my items delivered in a smaller truck. I was not aware of this and was rudely told that this was standard practice if I would read the estimate paperwork.

Unpacking my items was a disaster. I had many things that were broken, including many of the heavy duty storage totes, a metal valet that was missing pieces and bent beyond usage, several hands-on manipulatives for my classroom, and my television. All items were packed with protection, especially the television. My television was packed in its original box, complete with the original packing padding/foam inserts and screen cover. Not only was it was clearly marked as a television, but I told the movers completing my pick-up what was inside the box. After my items were delivered to me I was worried to see that one corner of the television box was damaged. I was hopeful that the television inside was still OK, but the same corner of the television was shattered. Best Price Moving was contacted, and long story short I was told that the item they broke would not be fixed or replaced. I was shocked, especially since I was told by Best Price Moving that my items were insured. Apparently, what I did not know was that only the items that the moving company packs into boxes for me would be covered. Because I packed my television myself, they would not cover it. Also, the "insurance" they have is not actually insurance- any issues with damage are to be completed through Anthem Claim Management, which is more of a middle man dispute regulator. It was explained to me by Anthem Claim Management that they would take my claim and send it to Best Price Moving, where they would have the authority to either accept or deny my claim.

I am sickened that my belongings were not handled with care, and even more disgusted with the lack of kindness and courtesy from the associates I had contact with during this move.

Please save yourself the heartache and frustration of dealing with this company, and look elsewhere for your moving needs.

I contracted through [redacted], who then hired Best Price Moving and Storage. Best Price Moving and Storage took my belongings to actually move them. My belonging were gone through and stollen by an employee of Best Price Moving and Storage. Who is in fact responsible for the stolen goods. I have signed contracts from Best Price Moving and Storage, so in fact I am a customer. Again a felony crime was committed by and employee of Best Price Moving and Storage, they should be responsible for who they hire, and what they do while on the job.

We highly recommend Best Price Moving. We needed a particular date for our move and they were able to fit us into their schedule which we greatly appreciated. On the day of our move, they called to let me know they would be a few minutes late and three men arrived soon after, well within the original timeframe we'd agreed upon. It took them about 3 hours to load up all furniture and boxes from our old home and about 4 and a half hours to move it into our new home.
The movers were professional and clever (arranging and rearranging the contents of the truck to make sure we could take everything in just one trip). While unloading they were in constant contact about each item to make sure everything was placed where we needed it to be. Go with Best Price, you won't be dissapointed!

I found them very well-mannered and understanding to my needs. Every time I needed things done in a certain way they didn't question it, they just accommodated me. In my entire life I've moved most likely 8 times before, and I have never had service like this before. It was great. The owner was very nice and very accommodating with my move date. I had to change it a couple of times and he was able to make things happen for me. It was an incredible difficult time for me and he was quite reassuring of everything.

Two handsome employees arrived promptly on time with big smiles on their faces, ready to do the job. This was nice to see in an industry that has a bad reputation. [redacted] shakes up the industry in a positive way! Thank you for making my single item pick up smooth and even enjoyable!

We attempted to deliver the customer's items and the 1st time she said she was not available because it was her birthday. The second time she was scheduled for delivery we left several messages with her mother included, but the customer...

did not return any of our calls so we could not deliver her goods without confirmation. The customer's belongings were placed in storage and the customer has already paid her moving balance and has been provided with the address of the storage facility so she may take possession of her items. We would have gladly scheduled a third delivery time, but the customer could not afford to pay the re-delivery fees.

We hired Best Price to move our mother out of her condo to her new place. The things that we liked the most about Best Price were both in their treatment of us AND in the way that they took such good care of our Mom's priceless belongings that she cares so much about. After many years, and many moves, we really must say that Best Price is the best mover we have experienced, bar none!

I do not accept the response from the Company. How come I called everyday for a week straight starting with the day after delivery leaving messages each time for Mary and I still have not received a return call from her. It goes right to her voice mail. Once they have your phone number they ignore you if you have a complaint but they sure are quick to sell you on their company and take the deposit, next payment due at pickup and they insist on being paid in cssh at the time of delivery. They are a dishonest company who preys on honest people. I would like Mary or someone from the company to at least return my call and discuss the over charge with me. I have started my claim with Anthem for the full amount of items damaged due to their horrendous moving staff. I have also contacted the State Attorney General Office in Illinois and Pennsylvania.

The company is super fast at answering your calls and accepting your money. As previously stated in the complaint, upon delivery of the goods and examining them. I immediately called the next day and every day for a week. My phone call went right into Mary's voice mail and I have yet to receive a phone call from anyone at the company. It has been six weeks. My claim package has been delivered to the company for a week now and still no communication. When I initially called the phone was answered by the second ring and when I called back with questions, again the phone was answered quickly. But when a complaint is leveled at this company they dodge the calls. It is unacceptable the way they handled the outrageous damage done to my furniture. Stand up and admit and make good on the damages. I will tell everyone to not deal with this horrendous company ever again.

The crew of Best Price packed our belongings carefully and meticulously. They were on time, cheerful, courteous, and professional. Not a single item broke, or was damaged, during the move. The crew works very hard and never complains. They hoisted a bookcase up to the second floor, and through the deck, when it wouldn’t fit up the stairway! Throughout they went above and beyond their duties (thank you!!).. We highly recommend this company, we’ve used them twice and recommended them to friends.

We understand the customer's confusion but we cannot help them with an explanation on the charges because she is not a Best Price customer. Her contract was with [redacted] so all her billing questions or any other issues have to be addressed directly with them. We are sorry...

We’ve chosen Best Price Moving and Storage based on the great reviews posted by other people and are glad that we did. We used them to move my girlfriend and I from our respective apartments into a new apartment together. They really helped make it a less stressful day. They were total pro's and their rate was very reasonable. They arrived early and worked quickly while being careful with our belongings. The move involved multiple stairs and some tight spaces and they managed it all without any difficulty or complaint. Overall, we thought they were efficient and did a good job. I would definitely recommend them.

Just wanted to say thank you for the excellent services provided during our move. Your guys were professional, organized, careful handling our things and very helpful. A great experience overall!

I moved from a 4 bedrm to a 3 bedrm house, the guys showed up on time, were happy, courteous and very hard working for 8 hours. They set up the rooms perfectly and helped me figure out a layout for main level as it was a little awkward I have to move again in 1 1/2 years and will definitely be using them again. Thanks guys!

The guys showed up early, did a walk through to assess what was being moved and then they got right to work. What a great group of movers! They were always happy and joking with us, and not once did they complain - even after seeing the amount of stuff being picked up from our second location (which was on the 5th floor of a building with the slowest elevator ever!) These guys didn't even stop to take a break, they just kept going!
Even though one of our small tables got a bit damaged in the move, the guys were honest and upfront about it, and the company offered to cover the cost to replace the table.
Honestly, I've used other movers in the past, but this was by far, THE BEST moving experience ever!

They were extremely professional and proficient. They showed up on time (even early!!), which I've never experienced with movers, and I couldn't believe how fast they wrapped all of our furniture and had it packed out and into our storage unit. It was all extremely well done and nothing broke. These guys are seriously the best, and I'd highly recommend them!

If you need help packing - this is the place to call! We had three guys show up on time and they worked very hard and very fast. Pleasant while in our home and they were extremely careful with our belongings! I highly recommend Best Price Moving and Storage.

My company paid for this bc they will be reimbursed. I did not agree on any packing materials and for this this move to take 15 days and counting for my belongings to be delivered.

We had a couple of very heavy tables that needed to be moved from the basement of one location to another location. The Best Price movers were early, friendly, patient, efficient and got the job done quickly. I couldn't have asked for better service!

This review is long overdue but can't say enough good things for Best Price Moving! Had a tighttimeline to have our whole house moved from Indianapolis to Los Angeles and our moving coordinator was prompt, friendly, and extremely helpful with her response. Reached out to her on a Friday, had the movers in by Monday, and everything unpacked and set in California by Thursday. No hidden costs or extra charges either! I would recommend this company to anyone who's planning a move as we all know it can be a stressful process
