Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: When I originally called my local Blink Fitness center I was not advised that I was required to complete a cancellation formBlink Fitness continues to bill me for my membership even though I have not use the gym since September **, I tried to cancel my membership in person by going into my local Blink Fitness center and was told I that I needed to satisfy the outstanding balance on my accountTherefore, the continue to bill me for services that I am not using I am willing to pay for one month of service in order to cancel but not for months In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Hello, Thank you for your inquiryThis member joined our 54th street location during pre-sale as a Green access member for a $stafeeAll pre-sale members are not allowed access to any location while their home facility is not openThe reason is they have not paid any membership dues to utilize a facility and they have been given an exclusive $20/month rate instead of the $25/month rate given to non-pre-sale members who join open facilitiesOur system experienced a glitch for this particular membership which allowed him access to facilities despite being a pre-sale memberHe used multiple facilities sometimes twice a day for months prior to the opening date of the 54th street location with out paying any membership duesHe essentially had months of free time to work out in Blink facilitiesWhen joining all members are required to sign a membership contractBlue and Green memberships do include a year obligationThis member did sign an agreement, agreeing to all terms and conditionsThree months after joining a blink, the annual maintenance fee is charged which is $+ taxThe language regarding the annual maintenance fee is listed under each membership class upon joining, in the FAQ page on the website, as well as in the membership terms and conditionsWe feel we gave more than adequate notice of our monthly fees, the year obligation, and the annual maintenance fee Language on the site: 12-month agreement, billed monthly on the 1st.$annual maintenance fee is charged on the 3rd day of the 3rd month after joining Language on the FAQ The annual maintenance fee is $and charged on the 3rd day of the 3rd month after joining and each subsequent anniversary of this date (i.eJanuary joins are billed April 3rd, February joins are billed May 3rd, etc.) It is invested straight back into our locations to maintain equipment and ensure the gyms are always fresh and clean In good health, Blink Member Services

Consistent trend for other member to try and interfere with other people's work outWhen you report the behavior you get told the same thing " I just want to make sure everyone has spaceUsing a machine or stretching should not give other members the right to physically stand in your way or so close to you that you can no longer continue because they are physically blocking you on purposeI reported these behaviors several times and the inadequate response is dangerous as I've also recorded member behavior that is deliberately targeting others to interfereIn ever single case these are individuals that do not take their gym time seriously and will spend more time talking on the phone, talking with friends, and staring at others before they inch closer and closer trying to prevent others from working out

Hello, Cancellations are processed by either visiting the club, filling out a cancellation form at the front desk, or by submitting a certified letter to: Blink Member Services [redacted] We process cancellations this way because it provides a receipt of cancellation for you in the event that there’s a discrepancyWe require a 45-day notice with a pro-rate to be collected from the date the cancellation form is signed or from the date the mail is postmarked It does seem that the best option for you would be to send a certified letter requesting cancellationAs stated previously, if you provide us with a medical note stating you are unable to travel to cancel we will be happy to work with you Kindly, Blink member services

I've been trying to cancel my account for over a year now and they just want more money...they want money to close your account! I have sent emails, I have written letters, I have walked into the club. My bank has been fighting the charges for over a year and the only way they ever responded to me was when I finally cancelled my card and they could NOT charge me any more. Its a f%ing joke.
FYI- I was never offered a form to fill out...I was told I had to pay to cancel

This place is absolutely ridiculousI'll give it to them - they do tell you in the fine print of the contract that the cancellation is required days in advance, so I can't really fault them there (I will say that's pretty shady/poor business practice though)But they also won't accept cancellation over the phone/email/onlineIt's incredibly clear they are just trying to make it difficult for you to cancel your membership to get as much money from you as possibleI've tried to cancel multiple times and sent my cancellation to the location times and yet have been told they "never recieved anything." I no longer live in New York, so I can't go into a physical location (which is the other option for cancelling your membership)I've been charged a total of $since I started trying to cancel my membershipAt first I just refused to pay and then they threatened to send me to collections! What a shameful, shameful way to make money

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved Sincerely, [redacted]

At the time of purchase as well as in the agreement we ask for a cancellation noticeThe following is from our agreement that all members acknowledge upon joining, “I understand this Agreement is for a minimum of twelve (12) months after which time I may terminate my membership at any time by providing days' written notice either in person at the club or by certified or registered mail to Blink”As far as being charged $to cancel, this does not apply since you would have fulfilled your agreement and would have been within the day notice period

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Again you cannot advertise $annual fees and charge an "annual maintenance fee"That is like saying $to join but there's a $initiation feeThe public is protected from these hidden charges by the FCCThe FCC has been reported of this and you will deal with them as well as the Revdex.comI really have no problem paying the $a year I just wish business wouldn't try to sneak these charges in, its not right for the other business who advertise fairlyShame on Blink Their motto should be "Dont Blink or you'll miss our hidden fees!" In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Hello, This concern was addressed with the member via Blink's member services inboxA refund was processed and the account was immediately cancelled on We apologize again for the inconvenience Kindly, Blink member services

Hands down the most disgusting, conniving, thieving, abusive, arrogant and did I mention, disgusting company that I have ever had anything to do with.
They PURPOSELY, make members believe that all is well and the membership is cancelled, when in fact it is not accordingly to them. They bill you( steal) by charging against the contract. I was triple charged when signing up. Had I not reviewed my bank statement, it would have stood. They say that you must come in to cancel and whe you do, the workers DO Not process it.
Whatever you do...STAY AWAY from these reprobate creeps...BLINK really DESERVES to go out of business...they really steal...this is a fact. The owner and these workers are really miscreants who have no integrity. Animals behave better than these. What other business doesnt allow customers to cancel by playing deceptve games with them. GO to hell STINK.
