As stated previously, the member has not submitted a request for cancellationThe account would have cancelled due to final notice collections however the member paid the balance owed in full prior to the effective dateThe final notice collections cancellation was removed and the account remained activeAgain, the member must submit a request for cancellation to end the membership with Blink fitness.

I understand the $buy out feeMy concern was regarding me trying to cancel my membership giving more than a day noticeI was told everything was okay and good to goThen I'm told their is another fee added on that I have to pay when I was not informedOn the website is does not state the days notice is a $fee as well"We process cancellations this way because it provides a receipt of cancellation for you in the event that there’s a discrepancyWe require a 45-day notice with a pro-rate to be collected from the date the cancellation form is signed or from the date the mail is postmarked." The managers and staff of blink fitness should be trained to properly explain these policies that are unwritten. I will go into the gym today to fill whatever form that needs to be filled out but to pay any fee I do not think that is fair.

I did receive a call from Jerrell B***, Area Manager, last Thursday, ** JunHe also sent me an email with his contact information, to which I responded in the early hours of the *** with photos of the two members I had complained about making an obscene gesture at me; forwarded emails to which I had not received a responseI also reiterated that I had submitted at least two complaints via Blink's website and heard back nothing
When we spoke, MrB*** seemed more interested in arguing with me and making excuses than solving the problem, incltelling me that doing nothing about my complaint did not constitute "condoning" the objectionable behaviourI have also heard nothing from anyone at Blink since the above-referenced communication

Per the observations from Blink Riverdale's club manager, the member was observed providing instruction to a guest on 9/**/Club Manager spoke to member and reminded member that use of
non-Blink Personal Trainers in the Club is prohibitedMembers may not personal train other members, per the terms of the member's signed AgreementMember was observed again on 9/**/for training members and/or guests in the facilityMembership was cancelled on 9/**/for repeated observations of outside personal training

All members are required to pay the annual fee yearly on the *** day of the *** month after their join dateSince this member's membership was revoked after the annual fee was charged, a refund will not be processedWe have, however, refunded all dues from the cancellation effective date on.

Annual Maintenance Fee: The Annual Maintenance Fee plus
any applicable tax is due and payable each year on the first day of the third month after your membership enrollment month (and each subsequent anniversary of such date) listed in the following scheduleMembers will be responsible for payment of the annual fee if a cancellation is requested on or after the *** of the month preceding the annual fee billing dateSuch cancellation requests are also subject to the standard cancellation terms contained in the members’ agreementsThe member then submitted their cancellation request on 4/**/16, days after the deadline of 4/**/They paid the prorate for their day notice, $This paid for all of May and for days in June Since they submitted their cancellation after the Annual Maintenance Fee deadline, they were charged $on 5/*/Again, they joined in February months after February is MayThis determined their AMF billing date to be May ***.

I understand many gyms have a need for an annual fee, but this needs be clearly labeledYou cannot advertise “0$ annual fee”, then change an “annual maintenance fee”, that is called advertisingJust because something is in fine print does not mean it can directly contradict advertisements. My next step will be to notify the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)

I keep continually get messages and invoices from Blink Fitness and the names on the invoices are not meI can find no way to contact their customer service even after accessing the headquarters webpage but certainly have multiple ways to joinI've never been one of their customers!

transparent as possible when it comes to our policies and especially our cancellation policyWe post the cancellation policy, along with the language describing the annual maintenance feein the terms and conditions section on the kiosk and websiteAll members must agree to these terms prior to joining blinkThese term sections are listed as follows: Terms and conditions, EFT authorization, and Cancellation policy We also list this information on the website in the FAQ section as well.

With regards to cancellation, I looked into the member's account and see no request for cancellationThere is a note in the account from the front desk staff on 7/**/stating the following: "Member came to cancel membership but didnt have her card with her at the moment to pay for pro-rate." This means the member did not complete her cancellation since she was unable to pay for the final days noticeAlso, we have no record of a certified letterIf the member provides us a copy of the certified letter receipt, we would be more than happy to adjust her account accordingly.

They initially agreed to cancel my membership and waive the fees through email them sent me a follow up email saying no we won't waive any feesThis company is a scam
