We process cancellations this way as it provides a receipt of cancellation for you in the event that there’s a discrepancyWe do require a 45-day notice with a pro-rate to be collected from the date the cancellation form is signed or from the date the mail is postmarkedIf the member is able to provide proof of cancellation, which would be a signed cancellation form or a copy of the certified letter receipt, we will be happy to adjust the account accordingly.
Looking forward to your response.
Kindly,
Blink Member Services

Blink's cancellation policy is 45-days notice, and a buyout

As per Brian's signed membership agreement, without a signed cancellation form at our front desk or a certified letter mailed to our Member Services address, Blink will be unable to cancel a membershipBlink requires a signature at the club or by certified mail to cancel the membership

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us! We first would like to apologize to this member for their experienceThey mentioned they reached out several times to the corporate office via email, but we have no emails on record showing a communication was sent to us at ***
I understand that this member joined in April and claims they cancelled later that month over the phonePer the signed contract, all cancellations are done in person at the location or via certified mail to the corporate officeWe do not accept cancellation requests over the phone or via emailAlso, all members are required to check off that they have read and agree to the terms and conditions of the agreement, which includes the cancellation policy, prior to joiningA copy of the signed agreement along with a receipt of purchase is immediately emailed to each member upon joiningWe also list the cancellation policy in several locations on the kiosk and websiteThe day notice and ways to cancel are listed in the FAQ section on our website, under each membership class in the details section, as well as in the terms and conditions.
With that said, it is clear that this member wishes to no longer be a member of BlinkAs a customer service gesture, we have waived the past due balance of $However, we will not be issuing a refund as their is no proof of a cancellation request on record and no proof can be provided.
We want to wish this member well and encourage them to continue to pursue their fitness goals.
In good health,
Blink Fitness

Hello,
The cancellation terms and conditions that were stated in the previous Revdex.com response apply to all Blink membersPer the Blink membership contract, cancellations are processed by filling out a form at the location or by certified mail sent to Blink Member ServicesA prorate is collected at the front desk when the member cancels in person or is collected by the member services team when the certified letter is receivedNo prorate was collected and no record of cancellation is on file.
Multiple billing calls and emails were sent informing this member of their balance with no resolution.
The balance must be cleared to close the account with Blink.

Hello,
This member's account was set to cancel for final notice collections on 3/**/He owed months of membership dues along with the annual maintenance feeThe member made a payment on March ***, paying off the balance owedThe pending cancellation date was then
removed from his account and his account remained active as it was currentThe member has since accrued a balance of $for two months of dues owed In order to cancel his account, he must submit a cancellation request via certified letter or in person at the club by filling out a cancellation formdays notice is required.
To further reiterate, the member never requested cancellation despite being explained via email from member services on how to do soTherefore, once his account was current the pending final notice collection cancellation date was removed and his account remained active.
The member reached out to Blink member services one time on February ***, 2016, asking what the cancellation policy wasWe responded with the following:
Thank you for reaching out to usWe do not accept cancellation requests via phone, fax or emailIf you are unable to visit the facility to fill out a request form, the other option is to send your request via certified mail to:
*** *** ***

We practice this methodology as it provides a receipt of cancellation for you in the event something isn't processed properlyWe do require a day notice with a pro-rate to be collected from the date the cancellation form is signed or from the date the mail is postmarkedThere is a current balance on your account of $that would have to be paid as well prior to the cancellation being processedA charge can be declined for a variety of reasons. You may have been issued a new card, have a revised expiration date or simply closed the account in favor of anotherYou can go online at *** to make a payment or simply stop by any Blink location, making a payment at the front desk.
Please feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have and thank you for being a part of the Blink family where every-body matters!

Hello,
With any purchase of a membership, the member has days to cancel due to buyers remorseThey will receive a full refund if they do soThis member did notAs the account balance accrued, we made several phone calls and sent several emails
notifying the individual with no resolveDespite making these attempts over a day period of time, the account was cancelled due to final notice collections.
As stated in a previous response if the member feels the account was created by another person and their personal credit card information was compromised, we encourage them to contact their bank and dispute the chargesThe bank will work with our
disputes department to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
Other wise to avoid being sent to collections, please make a payment by either logging on to***, simply stop by any Blink location, orcall Blink billing account services at###-###-####where you can speak with a billing

When I became a member of blink fitness, I had been a loyal costumer; paying my fees on time every month, but, due to circumstances (College study, no more job, studying half an year in another state, not enough time for gym or workout), I have not been going to Blink Fitness at all
Thus, I have not been checking my mail frequently since it was in the Junk sectionHowever, when I got the time to look at it, it said I had a payment due of ...$, and if not paid on time, my membership will be cancelledSo, I thought, why not let it be cancelled
And, now sadly, I get a mail saying, I have a due balance of 62.70$ for a gym, that I cannot even make a time to go forAnd, on top of that, it says, if I don’t pay (for a place I haven’t been going at all), that my account will be sent to a collection agency
I am a blue member, and I don't know much about the policy since my gym location didn't explain anything to me properly at allIt felt as though, they just wanted to recruit tons of member for their gym
Through experience, I know that this gym does not allow a member (even the ones who have been loyal costumer), to enter or work out in their gym if the due has not been paidAnd, as I mentioned before, due to no time and being out of state, being busy with college work, I have not been able to go to blink fitnessAnd, since I have not been paying the fees, there is no possibility of me even being inside the gym or even allowed to be there
As I said before, I don't know much about the policyI am really very upset that I have a balance due of 62.70$ to a place that I have not even been inThey said they "tried" to contact me, which they really did not
I don’t properly know about the cancellation policy either, which I guess I should have asked before I joined this gymI have heard something about day notice I would like to cancel my Blink Fitness AccountAnd, gladly pay for the fee for cancellation!
However, I do not want to pay for the balance that is due (62.70$) for a place that I did not even have the time to go to

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to usWe're very sorry you have had such a frustrating experienceWe would love to offer additional assistance and will be reaching out via email shortly to do soIf the funds were in fact received by Blink, we will be happy to rectify the
matter. In good health,
Blink Member Services
