Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/11/17) */ Customer signed up for a day trial, that would auto renew to a monthly service on the 15th day, customer requested refunds, we provided total refunds of the amount of eachSubscription cancelled, no further charges Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 10, 2015/11/20) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The day trial Is a scam To catch suckers like meI did not intend To maintain a membership and use their servicesThey knew that as well as I did!I figured a dollar For a one time use To make a resume Was a good deal.I did not needThe service any longer.Because I forgot to cancel I was penalized $every month Indefinitely Until I caught it.They will continue to take peoples money in this manner until somebody Steps up and makes them change the policy!Every legitimate business that takes money out of my account At least send me an email thank you for your payment. This alone would serve as a reminder to those of us who forgot to cancelAlso, If they admit they were wrong by returning five of the nine payments They should also return the other forBecause they Can check the records and see That I never use the account except the one time Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 12, 2015/12/04) */ Thank you for the opportunity to resolve this complaint from [redacted] ***We have reviewed our files and our records show that [redacted] signed up for our Resume Builder services on January 24, The copy online clearly provided [redacted] with a choice of full access for days at a discounted rate, which automatically renews to monthly access for a monthly fee, or an annual subscription that is pro-rated at a lower rate per month but which is paid upfront for access to the services all year long [redacted] chose to accept our offer for day full access, which automatically renews monthlyOn the page where [redacted] made that selection, immediately adjacent to the choice of subscriptions, the offer clearly and conspicuously states that the day premium access ''automatically renews at $per month on the 15th day''In addition, on the purchase confirmation page it is also clearly disclosed that this subscription will ''begin immediately and renew on February 8, to our monthly service at $per month.'' A Legitimate business Provides a service for a reasonable feeThis company knows fully well That a percentage of US consumers Will not cancel before the day trial ends.I would love to know what percentage of their income Comes from People who are not using the service.By only refunding me five of the nine payments Taken from my account, They are taking advantage of my mistake of not cancelling before the trial ends and they will gladly take advantage of others until changes are made to allow consumers to personally authorize each payment or in the very least, require the business to notify you with a "thank you for your payment." This is out right theft because I only used the service for document for the fee They know many customers will forget to log back on to cancel! If they are knowingly keeping dollars of my money now knowing I never used their service then they should not be allowed access into anyones bank accounts! This is unethical practice and they should be held accountable!

I deleted my account on their website a couple months backBut, a month later I get a charge on my cardI tried contacting costumer service but nobody answeredTried their "days a week Live Chat" same thing, no answerI figured I must've cancelled my account late so I let it goThe next month I get another chargeTried to contact the company, same thing, no answerI emailed them using their website but I never heard from themThen, I get charged again!!! months without even access to the website but yet I'm still getting chargedFinally I was able to talk to someoneI asked her why I was being charged and she said that my account was deleted but never cancelledShe checked their service data and my information was not even on thereAh! but they still had my credit card infoI asked her what services were offered after you delete the accountShe said NONEThen, why do you charge!!!? Why have a delete account link if it doesn't end your subscription?
