Uptown installed a kitchen sink and a flow cartridge in the shower I provided all items except small items for hrs work I was charged $ I feel this is grossly overcharged No written estimate was provided otherwise I would not have gone through with the project I will NEVER recommend Uptown to friends The work, however, was done to my satisfaction

Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, Incresponded immediately to my request for servicing of two in-house water boilers and a checkup and cleaning of a ten-year old furnace that had not been previously serviced The servicemen arrived at exactly the times I was told they would, introduced themselves and covered their boots with 'booties', examined the boilers and furnaceand in each case explained exactly what work appeared to be necessary They gave me a choice of remedies where possible and showed concern for my convenience and costs I particularly recommend Philip Baker, a technician with years experience and a thoroughly professional approach to his work In each case, once the service was completed, I received a request for feedback from Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, Inc I am a totally satisfied customer

Two years ago, we bought a mini-split from Uptown Plumbing and we think it's a great way to get air conditioning without duct workUnfortunately, loud noises came from the condensate pump for the upstairs unitUptown replaced the pumpThe noise continuedThis year they sent technicians who spent hours figuring out what was making the noise (not the pump) and fixing itThe technicians have been unfailingly polite and focused on the problemWe hope the problem is fixed, but if it's not, we're confident that they will return until it is

I have a mixed review of Uptown Plumbing Overall I was pleased with the service; they were prompt, and I believe they recommended and performed the appropriate repair (water heater replacement) I was however quite disappointed with the price, and I feel I was oversold somewhat I have a relatively large house but only people living in it, and was sold a gallon water heater More disappointing was the base price with installation of over $3600, with addition of expansion tank and some replacement of inlet and outlet valves and piping moving the price up to over $ I regret not shopping around more, although with a leaking water heater I was in a hurry to have the issue resolved In summary I was satisfied with the customer service but quite disappointed with the price

Uptown is the best company that I have recently done business with They're professional, concise about their product and friendly I will definitely recommend to family, friends, and acquaintances!!
