Uptown installed a bathroom faucet for us Davis, our technician, was here on time, he was skilled, clean, and knowledgeable Pricing was on the higher end, but the work he did was worth it! Great service all the way around Nice job, Davis!

It started out with the company confirming my appointment the day before the appointment Then on the day of the appointment I was given info on when tech would arrive and a picture of the tech Very good communication The tech listened to my issues and went right work He answered all my questions Everything he did works perfectly, and was done at a reasonable price

We were totally ripped off by this LOCAL "reputable" coMy previous experience was satisfactoryWe had an intermittent heating issue with our gas furnace WHICH WAS PROVIDING HEAT AT THE TIME OF THE SERVICE CALL, however I wanted to get it fixed permanentlyI contacted Uptown P&H & left msg for a service call for this issueI had to call a day later after no responseThis was a FridayThey send a tech that day, & with my help, problem is diagnosed, and repair quoted at $It sounds like a big jobI decide to go for itWithout exaggeration, less than minutes later he's done & leaves me the part he pulled out, which retails for under $I called Uptown Heating first thing that Monday AM to discuss WHY they charged so muchAfter days of waiting, naturally no one at Uptown Heating is available to discuss this reprehensible rip-offOwner unavailable, CS rep in a meeting and/or out sick, no one else qualified to discuss this jobDETAILED invoice reads "@$280.00"

Dustin was excellent he replaced my garbage disposal and gave me options with a list of the choices and the price difference and the difference between the choices He did a great job and even noticed that my sink was separated from my granite one one side and sealed it He did an excellent job

Once again, the team from Uptown Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling provided comprehensive service, this time installing my new furnace and air conditioner
As usual, I received a phone call the day before to remind me of the scheduled service and the names of the field service personnel I'd be working withIn addition, I received an email reminder indicating that the team was on its way to my townhouse
From the minute they arrived, the field service guys were very friendly and outgoingIn many respects, I felt like a couple of friends were doing the installationThey invited me to watch them at work and ask questions at any time during the installationThey also worked very well together, one focusing on the furnace and the other on the air conditioner
When the installation was complete, the lead person provided very detailed illustrations of the varioius steps they used in both installations, focusing on ways in which this installation was a little different (and better) than my original furnace and air conditionerHe also provided clear instructions on forms that I had to send in as follto finalize everything
There wasn't a bit of debris left over; in fact, they swept out my garage!

I have been a member of Uptown's maintenance plan for about months I have never had such wonderful service from any company before They call, schedule an inspection, let me know when they are on their way They are professional, well groomed, and all six of the service people that I have had have been personable and courteous One of the first visits, the technician said that he had finished early and they had a policy to offer to help senior citizens with anything using the extra time they had - I was years old at the time

The technician was knowledgeable, positive, friendly, and did excellent work He did not promise more than he could deliver and provided clear information about the work he would perform

I had Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling come out to our house on 3/to repair a pipe on the outside of the house where the sump pump empties into a drainage tile to move water away from the house The repair was a fairly simple fix to attach a couple of new plastic parts to the existing pipe and attach to our drain tile system This was a fairly simple repair that I probably should have taken care of myself, but was out of town and it was fairly urgent to get fixed
Note that my complaint does not have to do with the work completed, but with the exorbitant price they charged for the work The technician was at the house for a total of hour and minutes, which included a minute run to get partsHe quoted a price for the work of $and unfortunately my wife agreed to the workI was appalled at the cost of the repair, based on the fact that it was about $of parts and minutes of labor to repair itIf you even take a very high end plumber's rate of $150/hour and round it up to hours, this work still should have cost only half ($320) of what they charged us
I called the company to discuss and was told repeatedly that they are a premium services company who is not for everyone They were not willing to work with me at all on the price because we had agreed to the fixed bid They offered a $coupon towards future work, which I declined as I will never use their services again I learned a lesson the hard way here about not agreeing to work until you have challenged and questioned exactly what they are going to do
My point in writing this is to hopefully prevent someone else from falling into their predatory pricing tactics in the future Buyer beware on the cost involved with working with Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling

Efficient, fast, friendly

Chad *** came to my house for a furnace and water heater tune up He was extremely thorough, but I really appreciated all of the education in home maintenance He was courteous, clean, and extremely professional I had another company coming to tune up a 2nd furnace and I have cancelled this visit as it would not be able to compare to the service I had today

The hot water spigot did not turn in my bathroom sinkUptown was able to schedule a repair visit quicklyThe technician was helpful and knowledgeableHe was careful and neat while doing the repairHe informed me of costs and there were no surprisesEveryone I worked with was polite and efficient

I worked with Michael F when our water heater went outHe was professional, explained why we were having issues, and I really felt he had our best interests at heartThank you for your excellent work, Michael!

Jason Kcame to our home yesterday and was an absolute delight to work with He was very mannerly and especially knowlegable about a variety of plumbing issues He even solved a year old mystery for us regarding turning on the back faucet! I will request Jason and Uptown Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs in the future Thank you Jason for your hard work! I would also like to say the Uptown Plumbing was very professional from beginning to end
