I made a purchase of an ** laptop via the Ebates site plus a care package that totaled over $because all ** purchases made through Ebates that day was advertised to be receiving a 6% cashbackThen over a month passes but my Ebates account never got credited with the more than $cashback that I should have receivedI contacted Ebates's customer service and they responded to me, after investigation, that ** didn't recognize the deal and that ** claimed that I clicked on a different partner sales site and received cashback elsewhere, which I never did (I only registered with ** when I did my check out because I wanted to make sure I can leave a better trail of information in case where is any issue with the laptop delivery; this registration didn't get me any lower pricing on my purchases items or any rewards or points)Upon learning this I expressed my frustration with Ebates and they decided to give me a $gift card, which is way short of the $60+ I should have received from

Made the required purchases through Ebates and my check issuance date continues to get pushed backEvery month the date changes and nobody from their customer service department responds to my complaintsThey owe me $and refuse to pay me after I complied with all the terms to earn the cash on their website

I was supposed to receive a payment of $on February 15th When I didn't, I looked into my account to see that Ebates moved the date to May 15th That's wrong, I fulfilled their own policy of making my purchases through December (cut off date) I accumulated a rebate for $due to me on 2/ I emailed three times, no response Called customer service to be told they'll forward my request, called again to speak to a supervisor, to be told they "stepped away from their desk", which is a fancy word for I don't want to deal with you, then had to call AGAIN, after yet no response to be told I would get my money in 3-business days

I used the Ebate site which had a promo banner to click through to Dell.com where I purchased a computerThe purchase was for $and I was to get 6% cash back through EbatesWhen I checked Ebates later in the day my shopping trip was goneI have no problem with the smaller purchases showing upI have been reading that numerous other people have also experienced the same problem with their larger purchases When I contacted customer support they said I must have made a mistakeThey also said I had to click through Ebate's site a second time before I finished the purchase which is not trueI want the cash back I am entitled square and fairI could have used a competitors site if I would have suspected their would be a problem with a larger purchase
Ebates is terrific and their customer service is excellent! I don't know why anyone would shop without an Ebates account, unless they don't like getting money back on their purchase!
