We have responded to the customers complaint as shown below:On 6/@5:44PM, a customer service representative spoke to the customer who approved color substitution since the florist was not able to make the arrangement with white flowersThe substitution was to be for an arrangement of pale yellow carnations and some other light yellow flowers on the side with no indication of the amount of flowers or what other flowers were to be used eitherI do apologize for the other issues with the banner@$The florist used all fresh flowers in a wreath and did match the substitution policy shown within the Avas website and lso shown below:Substitution PolicyThe flowers shown online are representative of color scheme, look and feel, overall style, and value; however specific containers and or flowers will vary in some cases due to floral designer interpretation, availability or need to meet our quality standardsWhile substitutions may be necessary, a great effort will be made to keep the same look and feel of the arrangement, using flowers of greater or equal valueOn 6/9, the customer was offered as$refund which was issued: refunded - Amount: $vs Transaction [redacted] The customer has mentioned in the complaint; I am also planning on contacting the Indiana general attorneyBased on that information, we will respond to that complaint when we are contactedThere are no other offers available at this time based on the secondary complaint forthcomingThank you for your understanding.Since the customer has refused to accept the $refund issued in good faith and the fact that they will file a complaint with the Indiana Attorney general, we have no other offers available at this timeYou agree to this Agreement/Terms of Services by doing any one of the following:Using, accessing, or viewing this website; Registering for and using an online account through this website; Submitting content, such as product reviews, to us for publication; Ordering or purchasing flowers, balloons, chocolates, baskets, food, and other products or the delivery of the same from us.Please read this Agreement carefully If you do not agree to this Agreement, you may not access or otherwise use this website or purchase products or services from us

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There was NEVER a cr or order number givenAfter much argument with this business they agreed to credit my account and it remains to be seen if the credit goes throughHOWEVER this business is misrepresenting itself to the public in MANY waysFirst: They say they are a locally owned company but they are not located in the S [redacted] , NC areaas a matter of fact, THEY AREN'T EVEN LOCATED IN THE STATESecond: The person who answered the phone gave me the "local" area code (which I didn't know) so that my friend could get a call when her flowers were delivered- he made up that numberit was NOT the area codeIt is obvious that they never had any intention of delivering the flowers (and they NEVER made any attemptthey simply charged my credit card)Third: Their entire website is a scam (see my first pointthey are NOT in any way locally operatedthey are a call center!) If you look on consumer complaint websites all over the computer you will find their name: Ava's FloristThey should not be allowed to misrepresent themselves to the public nor to steal money and not fulfill contractsI absolutely reject this ridiculous response

To whom is may concern,Thank you for reaching out to us regarding [redacted] order [redacted] order was delivered the same day it was deliveredThe arrangement was delivered at 3:pm, and we had arranged a pick up and re-delivery of the new arrangement by pm the same dayThe agent *** [redacted] spoke to did not say it would be delivered in the morning but that the designer would deliver it as early as possible as this was a time sensitive situation [redacted] was given 15% off her order as well as an additional $in store creditThe new arrangement was delivered to the recipient's daughter at 1:pm on 2/We cannot provide [redacted] with a further refund unless we pick up the arrangement that was redelivered up, and she would only be eligible for a partial refund (minus the cost of goods as the designer has delivered two arrangements.) ORDER# [redacted] , please accept my sincere belated condolences for your lossI have spoken to the florist who did deliver the arrangement as requested but someone in the funeral home placed it at the wrong serviceOur customer service representative contacted the customer to let her know what had happened and offered a fruit basket, at the same value, to be delivered to the home of the family, when the address would be providedThe address that was given was for an apartment in EdisonWhen the florist arrived there, no one was home and a call tag was left to contact the floristAn alternate address was provided in Perth Amboy and the delivery was successfulIt was delivered on 4/@11:15am and accepted by the residentThe florist made the funeral arrangement and was paid for it and delivered the fruit basket at their expense, as a courtesy to the customerThe customer mentioned that she expected to have both the flowers delivered and the fruit basket tooAs explained, the fruit basket was done at the florists expense since it was not the fault of Avas flowers.As a sign of good faith, a partial refund in the amount of $has been issued as shown:A refund of $has been applied to transaction id [redacted] The following email was sent to " [redacted] ":A refund in the amount of $has been issuedIt may take your bank up to days to process this refundWe apologize for any inconvenience

In regards to the complaint # [redacted] , it has not be resolved Avas Flowers never did resend my flower order, nor did they respond to my subsequent emailsPlease re-open this case and ask them to refund my moneyI will no longer accept their offer of replacing the order
