The worst customer ever! I ordered my part,paid extra for it to be sent early, did not receive it. I had to go to a parts shop and purchase the item. When I called to voice my concerns I was met with a very rude and obnoxious representative. He would talk over me and interrupt me while I was speaking, he maliciously kept me on hold for an extremely long time when I asked to speak to his supervisor. The supervisor answered the phone and stated that I could return the item but I will NOT get reimbursed for the shipping AND I would have to pay a "RESTOCK FEE". I will never deal with this company again.

Before you buy, call customer service! Very easy to get ahold of the sales department, but if they send you the wrong part (like they did for me), you are in for a very frustrating experience in dealing with the customer service department. Most of the time you end up leaving a voicemail that goes unanswered.

I bought a very expensive part from this company and used over nite shipping and it was here the next day ! The part was half the price of what I would have paid at the GM dealer. Unfortunately, my mechanic messed the part up and it had to be re-ordered again. The CSR arranged for me to have free next-day air, instead of having to wait 5 or more days snail mail from Cali to Louisiana. The part was genuine and I will definitely use this company again for any future parts !!! Thanks guys !!

Your warranty ended on 8/19/14.  - I was sold a defective part.  I didn't have a 'warranty period'  it never worked.  I want my money back.
We do not refund parts after 30 days of purchase.  The part was sent back immediately after it was determined it did not work, the business has not disputed the return date for 2 years. Why are they 'throwing in' this sentence? To 'blur' the real issue.
Further, store credits are good for 1 year from date of issuance.  This was not stated at time of purchase. The documents I received did not have an expiration date. Copies were mailed to the Revdex.com and the store to verify this. One party to a transaction can not set a random limitation - binding on the other party - 2 years after the attempted  transaction.
This is theft.  I will not give my money to thieves, this company is run by crooks. I did not get what I paid for - I want my money returned.

I reviewed the online reviews on Buy Auto Parts web site and observed 14 negative to only 6 positive reviews. I am submitting #15 negative review. I ordered a new power steering pump for my 2004 Murano. My mechanic installed the new pump and it did not work. I had to meet a time schedule, so I purchased the part at a local auto parts store. I called BAP and spoke with [redacted] to request a refund on the bad part and was told that they did not do refunds on installed parts. My question to him was how would I have known that the part was bad if I did not install it. His reply was, I'm sorry, but our policy is not to refund on installed parts. However, [redacted] was able to get me a store credit for the cost of the faulty part. Hopefully, this store credit is good as [redacted] said it would be for one year or longer. So customers, be aware this company isn't a customer satisfying company as it advertises. Therefore, spend your hard earned money elsewhere. .

This business should have paid for the return shipping in the amount of $18.98.  Buy Auto Parts guarantees the following Direct Fit Guaranteed - we cover replacement shipping if the part doesn't fit.  Attached is a picture that you can see for yourself that the item connectors are different and DOES NOT FIT MY CAR.  I would have no problem getting a replacement but they clearly stated that was the ONLY product that they have for my car and if they would send another one that I would have the same problem. It's obvious that they do not want to pay for the shipping because it would be a lost for them. They are misleading and I am fighting for what I feel is right and that would be for them to refund my shipping cost due to their product not fitting my car. It's that simple.

I am not resolved with this response because the auto parts store in this instance was both the retailer of the the product as well as the manufacturer. The part was branded with their BuyAutoParts logo and is being sold as a proprietary product. This is not only an issue of horrendous customer service but also the sale of defective merchandise that they manufacture or have manufactured under the auspicious of being their OWN product with their companies name appearing on the item. They have represented to me that after the third shock they sent me they quarantined the remaining shocks but quality control should not have occurred in my shop but on their end. I am not the testing ground for their product nor shall I be placed in a financial loss because they choose not once but three times to make me such. I need to be reimbursed for my real monetary loss as a consequence of their own proprietary product. [redacted] BTW was the person who offered me a $100 credit with them after I had suffered a loss of $696 plus quite literally hours of my time dealing with them as a company. I want the $696 reimbursed to me and they can find another facility to test their products. I would advise they inform any such other company that they will be placed in a similar position as a TESTER before sending their product. Quality control belongs on the manufacturers end not the users or installers.

I feel that BuyAutoParts.com should refund me my money in full because the product they sold me was inferior.  The injectors never worked right from the beginning.  Unfortunately for me there was some troubleshooting involved that cost me some additional money in parts before I figured that out.  Originally their Customer Service told me that a 15% restocking fee would be charged because I didn't verify all the injectors were defective.  I objected because my car never ran right and after extensive troubleshooting, I knew all the injectors were bad.  I asked to talk to a supervisor who told me that the 15% restocking fee would no longer be available and that an in store credit was all that would be allowed.  I don't want an in-store credit.  The 15% restocking fee has been quoted to me from the beginning of this dispute.  After agreeing to accept the 15% restocking fee BuyAutoParts.com brings up a loss of original shipping charge.  Nothing has ever been said about a loss of original shipping charge.  Now after all of this time they want to throw that in.  This whole thing could have been avoided if their customer service had stated up front that it was their company policy to charge a 15% restocking fee, end of argument.  It is such a wake up call when you deal with a company that treats their customers poorly.  This is just another example of how BuyAutoParts.Com ultimately doesn't care about their customers.  They are a business that sells auto parts.  If there is a problem with a product they sell they should work with their customers, not fight them.  I will not do business with this company again.  It has been an incredible hassle.  I would warn other customers about the perils of a transaction with BuyAutoParts.Com that goes bad.  They don't sell through Walmart or [redacted] or [redacted].  They are not held to that level of customer service.

We have been in the suspension industry for over 28 years. We stand by our product 100% and will warranty any and all defective parts. You agreed to our warranty prior to purchase which clearly stated no refunds on installed parts and any other expenses incurred are on the customer.
Again, we will not be refunding your purchase. You can either upgrade you order to the OEM units from the dealer or accept a store credit.
