I do not understand how the Revdex.com could give this company an A+ rating when more than 17% of the customers who wrote a review, rated this company unsatisfactory We place an order for a part on Dec 12, The company required that I send the core in first for exchange before it would ship my part They signed for and received the core on Dec 18th, When I called to follow up I was reassured I would receive the part no later than Jan 8th, I could not believe that it would take more than weeks to get the part from California to Ohio by UPS It is now Jan 9th, and the part is no where to be found Unless you can wait two months for a part do not order from this company

BuyAutoParts.com practices unethical policy of placing customers at risk for package theft without their knowledge or permission by not informing customers of risk or offering alternative delivery options such as requiring a signature at delivery or picking up package at Drop-Off location
Purchased an AC compressor which was not delivered It seems that UPS dropped the package at the front door (people were home waiting for delivery) and didn't knock The package was likely stolen within minutes of delivery BuyAutoParts deny's all responsibility They placed me at risk by not requiring UPS to obtain a signature What's most frustrating is the attitude demonstrated by the BuyAutoParts.com representative On August 22nd I was told that there is nothing they can do other than re-file the UPS claim The first time they said the claim process would take days I gave them days before I called since they never called me as promised They said the case had been closed (UPS said they delivered) but would now "re-open" and I'll have to wait more time
My followup call to UPS indicated that the case is still open So BuyAutoParts.com gave me wrong information again today
They should have kept the customer happy and issued a credit now and dealt with UPS on the claim Instead they have earned my ire
Lesson learned - you cannot trust BuyAutoParts.com to keep your best interest a priority They do not give their customers delivery options (i.esignature required or pickup location) and default to placing the unwitting customer at risk for packages left on the doorstep This might be acceptable to some customers for a small value package but should not be a default for a +$purchase
