They sent the part but my mechanic put it in and the fuel pump assembly started leaking, so we bought another one from a different distributor and sent pictures of the fuel pump assembly with the seal deteriorating around the edges and wanted our money back because they sold a defective part but all they would do is a store credit, why would I want store credit when the first part was no good, how can I trust another part

I purchased a tandem remanufactured pump for a Mercedes SLwhich I was told by the sales person that "it was as good as the original OEM and the track record for returns to date were out of the last sold and came with a year PARTS WARRANTY"...The OEM price is $and the remanufactured version is $995....How could you go wrong right??...WRONG??
You should also know that it takes approx to labor hrs to install which costs $
The pump sent was installed and did not hold pressure..Upon calling BuyAutoParts,I was told that they were not responsibleI suggested that they contact the remanufacturer and see what can be done about the $I just paid to install a defective product to which they replied " No we will not do that"...My only alternative was to purchase the OEM version....after much,much, conversation,they agreed to discount the second pump by $for a purchase price of $1850....I was now faced with another labor charge $to have the OEM pump installed....again after pleading with them to assist with all or sum of the second labor charge, they refused and also refused to ask the remanufacturer to assist...Yes, they would send me another remanufactured version at no cost,but I would run the risk of it not working an encounter yet another $labor charge to have the OEM version installed for a total of $in labor
So...NEVER!!,NEVER buy anything from this company as they do not stand behind their products

Beware of the hidden charges in their return policyThey say "Free shipping over $"but when you return item they charge you your original shipping fee plus a 15% restocking fee, which is not revealed on web site or when ordering by phone....you don't know until its to late and they send you this information

I purchased a set of Spring Struts from BuyAutoParts.com during 3/and had them professionally installed without incidentOn 11/15/my front end of my Nissan Maxima began making a horrible noiseMy mechanic informed me the drivers side strut has gone outI called with my receipt and the initial customer service representative I spoke to was rude and stated there is only a year warranty on this part and that they couldn't do anything about the ones I currently have but could make me a great deal on another pairI asked to speak to his supervisor and he got upset and said the result will be the same but please holdWhen the supervisor got on the phone, he was already irritated with me because of the conversation I had with his employeeI asked him to please go over the warranty policy with me and he stated "it hasn't changed since my customer service repwent over it with you, but I can give you a great deal on a new set"I proceeded to ask him why would I purchase another set of struts if they only last monthsStruts are supposed to last a bit longer than that and if this company was in business for years, why would they not make this right? I asked for his name and ID number or something to identify him when I called to complain, and he said "all I'm gonna give you is my name, it's Ryan and you don't need anything more than thatWhoever I speak to will know who he was" Having been in customer service field for years, the way I was treated was horribleI'm a Captain on a Fire Department and supervise a company of people, and if any of my employees treat the public this way, they would be facing disciplinary actionSave your money or please give it to a different company! If for any other reason than the customer service, it'll be worth itThe warranty policy this company has is terrible!
