Dear Sir/Madam: Thank you very much for following up this caseSorry for the late response; I just found your e-mail lying in my junk folder 1) The policy being referred to that the international customers will have to ship back the defected part on their own is not listed on BuyAutoParts.com or, at least, was not there when I last asked BuyAutoParts.com to tell me where it is mentioned 2) If I have to ship the item back, what is the use of the guarantee? They sent the wrong part, but the part number is correct, is what they are telling meI had to send them pictures so they can look at the old part and compare it to the new partThen had to call dealer and get part number from them so they can check to see if they have correct infoAll this took Hours from my day, then they said they will ship the new part out again, but it will take another week, while my car is apart, so now I have to rent a car so I can get to workI will Never Buy from them Again

I spoke with a very rude salesman, who has arguing with me about the part I was willing to buy - a turbochargerthe company's pictures are 'generic'the salesman saw something different that I saw on their websitebesides, he, as a 'professional' was not able to explain something and became angryfinally he said to me: 'you don't have to purchase a part'

I reviewed the online reviews on Buy Auto Parts web site and observed negative to only positive reviews I am submitting #negative review I ordered a new power steering pump for my Murano My mechanic installed the new pump and it did not work I had to meet a time schedule, so I purchased the part at a local auto parts store I called BAP and spoke with [redacted] to request a refund on the bad part and was told that they did not do refunds on installed parts My question to him was how would I have known that the part was bad if I did not install itHis reply was, I'm sorry, but our policy is not to refund on installed parts However, [redacted] was able to get me a store credit for the cost of the faulty part Hopefully, this store credit is good as [redacted] said it would be for one year or longerSo customers, be aware this company isn't a customer satisfying company as it advertises Therefore, spend your hard earned money elsewhere

I ordered front brake rotors for my truck from buyautoparts.com because they had the lowest price I could findI was confused by the picture and description on your website so I called the sales dept before placing the order to determine exactly the part number I needed because the picture was a generic picture and looked like rotors for the4WD model and not the whole hub assy for the 2WD model There is a big difference on the 2WD Fand the 4WD FFront rotors He assured me that the part was correct so I place the order with him over the phone When I received the order confirmation email I notice that the item description called out the 4WD model but the "kit" part number indicated 2WD So I called customer service and AGAIN they assured me that the item description and picture were wrong but I would get the correct part What I received was in fact the WRONG rotors for the 4WD model and not the 2WD modelAfter a minute phone call and waiting over an hour for the rep to "call me back in minutes" the right part number was found They would not ship out the replacement parts until I had paid for them first I have limited funds and everything I had for this repair was already tied up in the WRONG parts I will be shipping them back for a full refund (I cannot trust this company to send the correct part anymore) and will never buy any part from this company again Only time will tell if I get a prompt refund Buyautoparts.com proudly declares that they have painstakingly cataloged, photographed, and created videos for over 10,items over the last years…And a Guaranteed Exact Fit .....I guess doesn’t cover the best selling pickup truck of all time on something as simple and common as brake parts

This company cannot be trusted to refund money Their adds state they "guarantee the parts they send you will fit your vehicle" That was not the case for meNot only did they send the wrong part, (causing additional days of the vehicle being down) they would not refund my payment until I threatened a lawsuitI was told "give it a couple of days" several times, days became weeks, finally, they did refund my money

Bottom line up front; Unprofessional customer service, and questionable as a reputable business! I called buyautoparts to inquire about a part I was looking for as I had found the part on two different sites; 'Buyautoparts.com'and [redacted] ', and wanted to call each company before I made a decision While on the phone with the buyautoparts salesperson, he was unable to provide me any specific details as to the quality of materials used in the rebuild and that was ok I then called [redacted] and the sales person picked up I explained to him what I was looking for and he transferred me When I was transferred, the automated messaging said buyautoparts; I thought I accidentally called buyautoparts again, so I recalled [redacted] When I called back, I asked the salesperson to explain, how I am being transferred to another company; I did not tell him I was just on the phone with buyautoparts He was very evasive as to why they have two companies under the same umbrella I also asked why was I being transferred He said because one company handles steering and the other handles other stuff I said to him, "you don't understand, I am calling about a steering issue so why would I be transferred" Dumbfounded at this point and unable to provide me an answer, he intentionally hung up the phone I called back and another representative picked up the phone He provided me an answer, but he was very irritated by my questions He also tried to tell me that ,"the fact that there were two companies was a mute point" I expressed to him that this is quite the contrary He said that the company had been around for years, but the ' [redacted] ' website says little things like this caused me to ask more questions And here is why this is NOT a "mute point" I have been burned for a few grand by another company by not asking the hard questions, before hand, when things do not add up After discovering that the two companies are actually the same though neither makes reference to the other on either website, my end state was to determine whether or not this is a reputable company worth trusting and conducting business with; I do not! Additionally, poor customer service before or during a sale, is indicative of the [redacted] pain it will be after they have your money and things that are under warranty start to fail

Watch out for discounted "kits" that are not in stock..while they can put together the parts, it will be more expensive..tried to get brake and rotor kit for two different cars..both out of stock and price changed from $to $ Same thing happened to me last year on a/c "kit" for Volvo 240..was able to get parts but much more expensive than "kit was advertisedBuyer beware
