I discussed my charges with Barney @wow on June 25,, after complaining that I could not afford the increases that they were charging Barney said he would see if he could reduce the charges (which go up every months or so)---so Barney told me he would reduce my monthly charge from the new amount of $to a lower rate of 125.94----I told him that was still to much but finally agree the new charge of $ He said that rate would be good for year The very next month (July) I received the next bill---get this---July rate is $155.94!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [redacted] had become very pricey so I decided to switch providers after seeing an ad from WOW I called them to get some information and things sounded good, and the prices and package were in the ballpark of what I wanted This was days ago and after the install things went completely downhill Never in my life have I had such a horrible experience with a cable company The tech left the wire running from my house to the power box without communicating to me that he was doing so I had to call WOW to set up a crew to bury the wire myself (more on that later) Then I had issues with their equipment interacting with my security system DVR Their tech support was very poor and at one point the guy basically said "I tried" and ended the call After calling back somebody said they would send a tech out Once the tech came the next day he was very friendly but said they do not do this type of work and he couldn't do it...so it was pointlessI'm basically left on my own to fix the issue if it is even possible I'm really leaning on cancelling the service because it isn't worth the aggravation When calling about the wire being buried I SPECIFICALLY asked the woman on the phone if they would call [redacted]  or if this was something I had to do myself She reassured me they would take care of everything Well here I am today at work with a call from home saying WOW is here to bury the cable without any markings on the lawn We have power lines, and sprinkler lines that run along the border between my neighbor's property and my own I called them to get them to hold off but of course customer service was clueless Never have I seen such an unprofessional way of working This company is awful

Our family has maintained a subscription to WOW cable and internet for the last two plus years When we originally purchased this plan in we selected a contract with internet speeds of Mbs down and Mbs up as well as the Mid-level cable TV package When we purchased this plan we were paying approximately $a month and were told that this was not a promotional offer and that there would be no spike in pricing related to a promotional period (although we were informed that there would be minor yearly adjustments to prices.) I'm an IT Manager and our families' lifestyle is centered around high speed internet access with one member building a [redacted]  TV streaming brand requiring high speed uploadsMy family of was considering moving to a lake community but only if we could get high speed internet accessThe family was very concerned about this and would not move if this was not the caseWe contacted WOW and they said we could get 500Mb download and 50Mb upload with no download limitsThis was perfect for our needsIt was an upgrade because we were getting 200Mb from [redacted] where we live and we're in the 1.5TB download programThis is a top tier program where you have to pay moreAgain, they confirmed that not only could I get the 500Mb but that there was no download limitsFor some people they spend money on travelling or golfing or sailingWe spend money on getting the best internet we canWOW is the only internet provider in the area and this is critical to my case The house was nice

I am a new customer of WOW cableThe installers who installed the cable at my home damaged the siding on my homeThe installers drilled holes in the siding when running the cable wiresThe correct way to install the cable wiring would have been to install the cable wires under the house siding When I informed WOW Cable about the issue the installers who arrived at my home were rude and refused to fix the problem I have called WOW Cable in an effort to resolve this issue, but as of September 27, is remains unresolved

In November I called to inquire about service and was told my bill would be under $including internet, cable, equipment rental, taxes, fees, and [redacted] because of a special offerI set up a time for WOW to call me backWhen I was called, I was told the special offer was not available, but they would honor the pricingSince then my bills are $180+ despite the promiseI have called monthly to have my bill adjusted and been told each time a new case was being opened and the matter would be resolved within two weeksFinally after the last time, I was called back and told that there was no way WOW could honor the original offer and my bill would be $140.00+I am not asking for anything more than the original offer of an all inclusive monthly bill of less than $In February 2016, WOW representatives acknowledged that I was correct about the original offer

WOW has been a problem for years and now based on information provided by their staff of a termination date and final fees, we are being charged an early termination fee when we followed every direction and paid all they said we owed even after being charged for equipment we did not have The excuse is that they can't remove early termination fees (even if they are wrong) They know we did not have the equipment yet billed us anyway and say they can only remove of the months fees Multiple issues with WOW for years and we had finally had enough Billing practices (can't make an adjustment)

I have been a WOW customer for tntrrnet and local phone services for many years On May 29, 2017, I made a phone call to WOW to find a way to lower my monthly bill I was On 'phone and Internet bundle' for $plus tax I called [redacted] customer service lineAgent [redacted] answered my phone call I told her any way to lower my monthly bill, she told me to sign up one year contract which would lower my bill about to dollars a month I received this month's bill for $Shocked, I called WOW, they lowered my bill to $ Agent [redacted] did not follow legal procedure to let me know I can cancel yearly contract within days and did not tell me the new contract is for $per month before tax All she told me is it would lower my monthly bill by $to $per month

When I was being sold Basic Cable and Internet services from Wow Cable and Internet the sales rep specifically stated that my charge before taxes would be $for year and then after year would increase to $and then after years would increase to $ After year my before taxes bill increased to $ I have called Wow when it first happened (month ago) and also the following month (today) and they are unwilling to honor the deceitful sales practices I would normally not throw a stink about $however this is not the first time that Wow and other cable companies have straight up lied when trying to sell their product and other lies in the past have been upwards of a $per month which is very significant So now I am ultra sensitive to lies from cable companies I have given them ample opportunity to make things right and they refuse to do so

I cancelled my account in november and turned in the required paperwork to void my contract without penalty because I am in the militaryOver the next days I called multiple times to ensure I was not going to keep getting bills, however each time I called I got a different responseI logged my calls and claim numbers, asked for aupervisors and still did not get my issue resolvedWow harrasses me with calls everyday that I owe a bill and wont acknowledge that I cancelled my account or that my military orders release me from the early termination feeI was told that the company lost my paperwork and I would have to drive back to [redacted] to fix the issue in personI live in [redacted]

, wow will not release my number so I can Port it to [redacted] even I left a while phone service on for additional two weeks [redacted] report so they can't Port the number because while isn't releasing it cancel my service with Wow and this is how they treat a 20-year customer
