This is a violation of privacy Since July 2017, I have made phone calls and written two letters to WOW Cable Company, asking them to remove my name and address from their mailing list As of today, I am still getting WOW marketing material in my mailbox Wow’s Customer Service has filled out and submitted multiple forms and on my behalf and giving me assurance the mailings will cease Customer Service cannot give me a corporate phone number or a phone number to their marketing director The only additional help they offer is writing a letter to a PO Box I have not received any acknowledgement or feedback from my two letters to WOW’s leadership (Oct and Jan 2018), addressed to Teresa E***, Cash H***, Rich F*, Craig M***, Cathy K**, Steven C [redacted] , Jill B***, Scott R***, Thomas M [redacted] My requests have gone unanswered This company continues to violate the privacy laws and someone in their Executive level management must be responsible t

I reside in a HOA community with a no soliciting sign Flyers were placed on porches and doors A few neighbors complained and called HOA The next day, I noticed a car around corner behind a tree (car engine and lights were "on" in daylight hours) The person inside car was sitting there watching me arrive home I rechecked and the person and car was watching me, making me uncomfortable I went inside my home and rechecked and the person was still watching me and parked behind a tree It was intrusive and uncomfortable The person drove on my driveway without being invited and yelled out "I am not a criminal!" (twice) I did not know him and did not know what was going on I asked him who he was His behavior was odd He said he worked for WOW I nodded and replied, Okay, you must be John Hammer He rolled his eyes and said yes He asked how I knew that information I resplied "you left marketing information on my door and this is a No Soliciting HOA community I asked

I discontinued service in August prior to moving out of state When I turned in the modem, I was told that my credit balance would be sent to me I never received it, so I called and was told that it would take one month to six weeks It is now two months after the fact and I have yet to receive the refund, but I keep receiving invoices showing a credit balance of $ This is what is due me Email and letters have been ignored and I cannot get any satisfactory results from calling

I was sold bundled services just before the new yearI was told that the promotional rate of $would be good for one year, at which time the rate would increase $5/yearIn my monthly statement, this is written as a $rate with a $discountIn my July statement, the rate upon which the promotional discount was given went up $So in WOW's frame of reference, I was still getting my $"discount," but my bill had increased well in advance of the one year promotional expirationI regard this as either a deceptive billing or selling practice The promotional rate is worthless if they can arbitrarily increase the price of the product at any time during the promotional periodFurther, they are still offering a promotional rate equal to the one I was offered, indicating that the price increase was not "for everyone" as their representative claimed on the phone when I called them I was able to get a billing adjustment of $5/month on my bill that would be in effect for one year

WOW used to be a good cable company I am in a condo complex where I have been getting WOW service for about a decade The problem is that WOW has carelessly, negligently allowed wires to stick out of the ground in an unsightly way throughout our condo complex consisting of buildings Further the wires exposed and running out of the ground and WHERE PEOPLE WALK, is a hazard for tripping While Comcast has come out and fixed wires for our condo complex, those customers with cable service have not been so fortunate I called and made a service call for WOW on June THEY FAILED to show up I left a customer form which explained my complaint on their website It was ignored I called customer service AGAIN (the 1st time was prior to June 10), today on June The customer service hung up on me This is just plain poor service

I have contacted WOW about internet services at my home since regarding intermittent interruptions which has resulted in several service calls We have updated our personal equipment as recommended and the issues have not been resolved Most recently (days), still no continuity in the service They have recommended sending a service technician to the residence for a fee We have declined because the problem has never been resolved Nevertheless, the cost of this below average service is increasing To clarify, we have reset the modem and router repeatedly When near or far to the router/modem, WIFI service is horrible They are unable to effectively troubleshoot the cause and efficiently resolve the issue

WOW is terribleNot just the cable and internet service, but the customer serviceI’ve never dealt with such ignorant, unhelpful peopleI was literally told that I am “just one person” and I mean nothing to themNot to mention, you get into a contract with them and you can’t get your rate adjusted, but they can up your bill at anytime without noticeAnd I spent 2-hours per month reporting and outage, and then another 1-hours per month asking them to adjust my bill that they didn’t previously adjust when I reported an outageABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE

I was a customer of WOW for approximately 10 years. I work from home and my service was not working so I contacted them for a service call. They gave me a window of time on a Saturday a.m. that the tech was coming. He never showed. I waited all a.m. and I had to contact WOW to find out what was going on. They told me that he was running very late and was not going to be there for several more hours. They did not contact me I had to call them. I decided I had enough of dealing with this unprofessional company and paying for service that wasn't working. And told them to cancel my service immediately. paid my bill in full and went to another carrier. They are now charging me an early termination FEE!!! They will not remove this. I am not paying for this as I was forced to cancel my service due to it being unreliable. Please help me get this taken off my bill. I was a loyal customer for many years and had no choice but to cancel.

December wow cable was supposed to pick up there cable boxes between 8-They came to my house way after that time I have them on camera so I call January to have them pick it back up representatives tell me that they can not come and pick it up when account pass dueLike I told representatives they came out already and for to to come back to get there equipment So he try to argue we me so I request to speak with a supervisor he tell me there no supervisor available..which I find it funnythen he put a supervisor on the phone name tonyHe was rude disrespectfultreat me like a dogAnd tell me they was going to charge me $to pick up there equipment are I can drop it off I ask him was they going to pay me gas money to drop it off so I recorded the whole conversation on how I was treated by wow representatives and supervisor and I told them I was recording themAnd they didn’t care cause they way they act they know wow cable not going to do anything to themthis is how

I have had countless bad experiences with this companyI had issues with my service so I called for help, they helped me troubleshoot over the phone, but the following month, I had a $ [redacted] service fee attached to my billWhen I called to complain about this, I was told they had sent a technician out to my house and that no one was home so they charged me for itI never requested a technician, nor did I need oneAfter having trouble getting this charge removed (after talking to at least different people) I decided to cancel my serviceThis was even worseAfter being told I had canceled service and paid all balances, two months later I received yet another billWhen I tried to call to get an explanation, they claimed it was a past due balanceI told them I would not pay it because my service had been cancelled and at time of cancellation they told me all balances were paidNow, I have creditors calling me about a balance I already paid, and have provided them with proof that a check for said balance had already been cashed by WOW! The creditors filed a dispute claim and told me to contact WOW! directly, which I did, and they told me they could help me and to call another number, which is the number for the creditorThis company has a star [redacted] review, I have no idea how they are still openWorst service, worst customer service, and worst headacheDO NOT CHOOSE WOW!

WOW customer service is so horrible that on a scale from to 10, being poor and being good they would get a - Their automated system said one thing then when I spoke with a person my bill went up $He assured me his computer was accurate, and of course like any good customer service (that is an oxymoron) person he repeated his script over and overI'm sorry, but if the "person" is only reading a script from a computer, why pay that personI also do not like to spoken to with condescensionI'm not trying to be high and mighty, but, a person who answers a phone for a living and only reads a script is not better than me, and if that is all they do should feel lucky to do so because they're work is pointless and does not contribute anything to humanity what so everI will never do business with them ever againI really hope they go out of business so they realize that in order to do business with the public, they need to "work with" the public and not just collect fees

This is a common practice with these Internet companiesI was at the end of my contract with them and called to see about renewing at the same or similar rateI was met by poor customer service on the topic with no choice to renew other than paying the full ratesThe manager at the Pinellas Park, FL office kept talking over top of me and offered no help at allThe offer new customers discounted rates, but have no retention plan for current LOYAL customersI use to reference them to my neighbors and friends and now I think I need to make some phone calls and apologize those same people

I called wow on 10/20/to inquire about a cable card for a *** system I was thinking about purchasingThe representative ove the the phone told me that it wouldn’t be an issue that all I needed to do was go to the store front location in *** to pick up the actual cable cardI then drove over to the store frontExplained the situation about me getting a *** and needing a cable cardThe representative verified my account information and gave me a cable cardOnce I got home with my new cablecard & *** system I couldn’t get the system to connect to the cablecard I decided to call wow to find out what the issue wasThe representative over the phone tells me that the *** system is not compatible with the account servicesThat I would need to downgrade my service package and pay to have the downgraded system installed for the *** and cacle card would workI asked why I wasn’t informed of this information when I called the *** number or when I went to

I have been a wow customer for the last years that I have owned my houseAs well as my family being a wow customer for the last I had called on May 11th to report an issue with wow's service in my area and was told they had some outages but everything should be up and working soonDays went on going by with the service working then cutting out usually during the dayI called again the day before my birthday explaining that the issue was still present and we need a solutionAt this point a customer service representative said they would make note of the situation and call me back with availability of a technician to my locationStill nothing but the problems stayed the same at this point on 15th of July I called and talked to a manager and they said there are no notes for the account and a credit of $would be awarded to my accountThen they would schedule someone to come to my location after offering me mega bits per minute for a higher price which is crap

On the phone, on 12/31/17, the company representative represented the contract I was consenting to as being under the following terms:

Wow was our provider in Bay Village and when I called to advise we were moving and there services were not offered in the area we weer moving to I was advised that would not be a issue Several months later I started getting collections calls and I then called wow and they advised that no such conversation was told to me regarding waiving term fee $I asked for supervisor I never recvd a call back in over three monthsthen more collections notices My main issue is why does a consumer have to pay a termination fee if the service is not available for use if you have to movei was on time with every payment and didnt have any any issues with service but die to the fact they cant provide service I have to pay them a fee for thati would gladly transfered service with wowAlso I have canceled them in the past without issue due to pricing and never had this issue

They have for well over a year now advertised through their website, circular flyer, and over the phone with their operators for internet speeds that they will not sell youWhat is being "Offered and Advertised" for the *** *** area can be found here:

WOW is apparently installing lines in my neighborhood In most cases, this has meant holes dug in front yards and then refilled and reseeded - which is no big deal I came home on Friday 6/to find that they had driven heavy machinery in my yard and through my woods, felling several sapling trees and generally destroying my property - outside of the easements outlined in my deed They never contacted me to ask for my permission to come onto my property, and they have caused a great deal of damage to portions of my property that are not part of utility easements They left at least one cigarette butt in my woods next to the hole they left on Friday, and I am generally powerless to stop them from destroying my property and treating my yard like a trash dump - outside of missing work and staying home with a weapon to threaten them - so I am filing this report I emailed my govt official on Friday evening, and tried to call several govt agencies to get help, but of course everything

We have residential internet, telephone, and cable service through WOW!
