December wow cable was supposed to pick up there cable boxes between 8-They came to my house way after that time I have them on camera so I call January to have them pick it back up representatives tell me that they can not come and pick it up when account pass dueLike I told representatives they came out already and for to to come back to get there equipment So he try to argue we me so I request to speak with a supervisor he tell me there no supervisor available..which I find it funnythen he put a supervisor on the phone name tonyHe was rude disrespectfultreat me like a dogAnd tell me they was going to charge me $to pick up there equipment are I can drop it off I ask him was they going to pay me gas money to drop it off so I recorded the whole conversation on how I was treated by wow representatives and supervisor and I told them I was recording themAnd they didn’t care cause they way they act they know wow cable not going to do anything to themthis is how

I recently signed up for internet service with this provider and my bill includes an amount for installation services However, I was never told there would be an installation cost for this service I've contacted a customer service representative, and the representative was not willing to resolve this issue to my satisfaction

WOW quoted me a price for a bundled service of $(taxes and fees included) for months
I was specifically told this amount would not go up during the month period
I received my bill which shows this rate is only good for monthsAfter months they will raise my rate by $per monthI have spoken to several WOW reps on the phone and receive a different story each time I call

I was informed that I would be credited $to my account and not be charged for a tech visit service due to the company's errorWhen I received my next bill, I did get my promised creditHowever, there was a $tech visit charge to my account
I emailed them that day, and received no answer after daysI called them on the sixth day to get the issue resolvedThe csr was able to take the $off my account, but then said he would also not honor the $creditAt no time during my first conversation was the $credit tied to the $tech visitAt this point, I got heated and eventually asked for a managerHowever, my previous experiences with Wow dictated that I would likely be on hold for another minutes and I had other things I needed to do

Services for weeks now, in weeks I have had scheduled service technician appointments, an installation and a service appoint where the technician did not show upI have spent countless hours on the phone with the customer service team who have provided less than horrible service and given me nothing but bad attitudes and talked back to meNow at the end of all of this I'm being told I have a balance of $and changeI have requested contact information for the billing department, general counsel and the C.O.Oall of these requests have been denied

Trying to cancel service with WOW Internet was slightly more pleasant than getting a root canal by the guy behind my building who claimed he went to six days of dental schoolAfter over minutes on hold and listening to my growing frustration, my elderly dog drowned himself in the toilet and my cat ran away and started a street gang
On a more serious note, customer service involves long holds and little to no helpLook elsewhere for a cable or internet provider

Wow Cable is easily the worst internet/cable providerThey are almost expensive as some of the better providers such as ***, yet their service is among the worst I have ever experiencedThe wireless internet only works if you are within feet of the wireless router, and the internet cuts out constantly

*** *** had become very pricey so I decided to switch providers after seeing an ad from WOW I called them to get some information and things sounded good, and the prices and package were in the ballpark of what I wanted This was days ago and after the install things went completely downhill Never in my life have I had such a horrible experience with a cable company The tech left the wire running from my house to the power box without communicating to me that he was doing so I had to call WOW to set up a crew to bury the wire myself (more on that later) Then I had issues with their equipment interacting with my security system DVR Their tech support was very poor and at one point the guy basically said "I tried" and ended the call After calling back somebody said they would send a tech out Once the tech came the next day he was very friendly but said they do not do this type of work and he couldn't do it...so it was pointlessI'm basically left on my own to fix the issue if it is even possible I'm really leaning on cancelling the service because it isn't worth the aggravation When calling about the wire being buried I SPECIFICALLY asked the woman on the phone if they would call *** or if this was something I had to do myself She reassured me they would take care of everything Well here I am today at work with a call from home saying WOW is here to bury the cable without any markings on the lawn We have power lines, and sprinkler lines that run along the border between my neighbor's property and my own I called them to get them to hold off but of course customer service was clueless Never have I seen such an unprofessional way of working This company is awful

I've been a customer with WOW for the longest and customer service has always been goodBut lately the internet service has cost me wages from my jobI work at home and steady dependable internet is a mustI must meet the minimum of 10mbps download and 2mbps uploadI am paying $extra for upgraded internet because I know when sign on to a VPN, the speeds are guaranteed to dropOn 95% of the days I work and am signed on to the VPN, I actually get more than what I pay for But Friday's through Sunday's it is throttled back and whether on or off the VPN I ONLY GET and I've called several times, have had modems replaced twice, had a tech come out and actually look at the wiring connecting to the apartment buildingBut the issue persistsEverytime I call it's a recycle, a reset from the office and a 'call back if it happens again'I've called too many times for the issue to still happen a year laterWOW needs to supply what they promise according to what I pay for

WOW promised me, in writing, a month guaranteed rate After months they are increasing my rate They have stated that the discount was guaranteed, not the rate That is dirty, deceitful, and intentionally dishonest

Local salesman *** *** of Wow came to our house on 3-3-and proposed a deal foe us to convert from *** to wow Internet He promised units plus free service pla protection and free installation of our 3rd tv We signed his contract On 3-5-16, installation person came to our house He said he would have to charge foe 3rd tv installation We called *** later this day to say we were not feeling good about his deal and we were considering canceling the contract He said he could give us $in movie credits to be reflected on first bill We called wow customer service on 3-14-and no such credit existed nor our free service protection plan and units This meant an additional $14/mo on our bill above the $117/mo rate (tax included) by *** in writing wow customer said they could not honor that and refused to help us escalate the issue We trusted the salesman *** like any reasonable person would and he totally made promises that could not be kept and wo
