I have enjoyed being a WOW customer for many yearsI have home internet and Cable serviceLast Saturday (6/25/16) I called due to not being able to connect to the internetThe rep told me he could not resolve the issue and a technitian would be sent outThe tech came to my resd on Monday 6/27/16, and informed me that we could not connect to the internet due to WOW upgrading lines in the area, and a lineman would have to be calledToday I called WOW customer service to be informed that they could do nothing as my internet service was changed on 6/29/Not sure why but I did not request any changes, and the service issue (which I pay for each month) has still not been resolved
I am trying my best to Stay with WOW and not transfer service to ***

I had WOW as my internet providerI moved on the 10th of October
The week prior to this my cable was turned off so I paid dollars to have them reinstate the cable I also told them of my date I was moving and to turn it off at that time
Now I am receiving bills for the entire monthThe amount on the bill is dollars
I was in the apt until the 10th not the entire month

I subscribed to WOW internet service last year after speaking with a representative and getting a year agreement for download at $per month (account #***)Each billing cycle my bill showed a residential service charge of $25, an internet upgrade charge of $for a total of $and a "Internet Discount for Months -$30"; which brought the total charge to $each monthThis is the program that I agreed to and signed up for
This billing cycle ( dated July 16th 2016) my bill changed and went up $a month and the wording for the discount now states "Internet Discount for Months -$20"; with a total bill of $I called WOW on July 30th and spoke with a customer service representative and different supervisors; who all told me that the plan only was discounted $for the first months of service, then changes to a $discount after thatI attempted to explain that was not what was sold to me, and agreed upon, nor was this what their own billing statements

My Internet goes down constantlyI have called several times and unfortunately it still has not been fixedIt only works about 50% of the timeI have emailed and talked to customer service several timesThey have all been very nice but the problem is still not fixedI believe they simply have too many customers in this area and can't support all of themI pay a lot of money for this and only expect it to workIt also has caused our roaming on our cell phones to go over which is also costing more moneyI have been patient and it has been months and the problem has not been resolved I hope by filing this complaint it will simply get fixedI thank you for your time and hope this will finally get the problem resolved

Last Tuesday I contacted WOW to obtain more information about their pricing and current offersI was told there was a previous balance recorded at the address in my nameI informed the person on the phone this had previously been resolved over a year ago, that I had a letter from the company the debt was sold to stating the account was clear and closed, and the offending item has already been removed from my credit report with all major bureausThe agent spoke with a supervisor and informed me the issue was to be escalated and informed me I should be contacted by the 13th at the latestI made attempts to contact wow on the 13th, the first two agents had trouble locating the account and hung up before they could provide any meaningful help or informationOn my third attempt I asked for a supervisor right awayThe supervisor acknowledged the escalation and stated there was a note from the 9th stating they need a copy of the letterWhen I was asking where to send in the copy of

Yes I told them to disconnect us cause we didnt have the money to pay for it and they said they come get the equipment n they have never showed up to get it and I had a dispute with my bank cause they took out money whwn was supposed to and won that with my bank and got the money bank and had it to where they cant take any money out of my account and today I got on my bank account to see how mucb money I had and wow ended up taking the money out again with out it being authorized to and we called them bout it and they said they cant get do nothing about it so now my bank has another dispute with them and they pulled up my other dispute where I had a stop payment and had it to where thwy couldnt take any money out n said qe get that money back to or atleast shouldAnd while my husband was on the phone with the wow manager they were being rude And unprofessional

I just got done with my wow contract and had nothing but problemsMy biggest problem was when I signed up they told me if I moved out of a wow cable area that they would wave the early termination fee because it was not my fault they don't service cable in that area (mind you I moved about miles away from my wow residence)Now they are saying I am lying and she was lying (lady that sold me the package) and none of its trueAlso told me I was locked in for a year but every month my bill went upCustomer service was always rude to me and I had nothing but bad experiences with this company

This has problems both of which happened because we upgraded to WOW Ultra1st they had to "rebuild" or account because it would not work with UltraThey kept it messed up for monthsThen we got a bill for $for equipment which the tech took with himSupposedly this was taken care of but then months later with no further communication from WOW we get a collection letter for $They tell me they will take 24-hours to resolve and never get back to meI have to call themTheir customer service it horrible

I signed up with WOW on May 5, with a promise to bury the cable that is in my back yard in June
I called them on June 3, to see when they were going to do this; the rep told me there was no order to bury a cableThis cable above ground is a hazard, to me and the company that cuts my grassI was told it would take themweeks or moreIf I or my people that cut my grass is injured due this cable laying in my yard, I plan tosue this company

At the beginning of May 2017, I contacted WOW to discuss adding cable TV service to my existing Internet service I was quoted a price of $(including fees) + tax to add the "medium" cable TV package to my existing Internet This was to include one HD DVR box + regular HD box I confirmed with the sales rep numerous times that the $including the cable boxes and all fees and was assured repeatedly that it did I expected my new bill total (cable TV + Internet service) to be approximately $per month once taxes were added in

I recently stopped my service At the time I stopped service I was informed that I could return my WOW equipment to the locale warehouse The customer service representative stated that there was a dropbox at the warehouse so I could return the equipment at my convenience I returned the equipment over a month ago I just recently received a bill stating I did not return the equipment I called customer service and they sent a request to the warehouse to search for the equipment After a week I received a phone call from a customer service representative stating the warehouse could not locate the equipment The representative ask me if I had a receipt for returning the equipment which I replied that I had used the dropbox I ask if there was anything else that could be done to resolve the issue The representative said there was nothing else that could be done and if I refused to pay the invoice it would be sent to a collections agency

I signed up for WOW and was told that my rate would be locked at $30, and every month they were charging me over that amount This went on for at least three months - I was overcharged, I would call WOW or my personal representative, and they would lower the bill I was never told when I signed up, that I would be charged for the modem When I learned this, I requested that they pick up their modem, and asked what kind of modem I should buy I bought two different modems, two separate times, and they were both the incorrect modem I had to pay opocket for the return shipping costs, and was very frustrated After the second time, I asked my personal representative (who had signed me up and was communicating with me continually) picked up the modem in February 2018, and I cancelled my service Since then, I have received two bills from WOW in amounts of over $500, for services, late fees, and equipment not returned

In reference to ticket number: #50090466: After turning in my equipment and cancelling my service at the local office because of Active Duty military orders, I continued to receive monthly bills and be charged for service at a residence that I was no longer at and for a service that I had cancelledWhen contacting the company, they disputed that I had not cancelled service / not turned in equipmentAfter months of disputing that I had turned it in, magically the equipment appeared in their inventoryI was also informed that a check would be sent to refund the service chargesThis was after months of back and forth between myself and the companyThe first check was made out to the wrong name as it was a business line and they used the business name to make the check out toregardless that I was the customer and I had only provided my information for serviceand that it was my bank account with my information that I was making payments withAll of this was established in the service agreement
After attempting to get a second check sent, the company then informed me that they needed documents from me to change the nameI sent them a copy of the service agreement (that they also have in their possession) and they vowed to send another check with the "new information"I have yet to receive this check
months and I have yet to be refunded

This company keeps changing my billing dateWhen the bill isn't on the day they decide its randomly due, I am charged with late fees that they will not reverseThey claim to record calls but will not listen to the last call recorded that proves how they keep changing my billing dateThere is a lack of communication within this companyAlso their service is slow

I am writing this on behalf of my mother, *** ***, who lives at this address and whose cable provider is WowThis is a condominium complex and everyone who lives there must have wowHer service keeps going out, and I have had to take days off of work to sit there and wait for a technician, who have been out on numerous occasions, including yesterdayHer service worked for a few hours but then stopped againI called today for another tech to come out, but was told there was no one available until tomorrow, so that will be another day I have to take a day off, and I don't get paid when I don't workHer bill is included in her monthly association dues, so she is basically paying for a service she is in fact, not receivingThis needs to be resolved

Internet service provider WOW does not support 30mps speed of internet promised- during evening ours between 7:P.M and P.Minternet speed goes down deeply to even zero
I called technical support for days in the row to get answer -they do not disclose the reason of this problem to me
I need to know if this problem is permanent or temporary- is it due to WOW system problem during peak hours or some maintenance work Their customer service reps do not help with the true answerI believe, as customer, I do have a right to be informed about the real reason, why the service promised is not delivered

On Jan.3,I paid $on my cable billA week later Wow stated that they had not received my paymentI called them the second week of Janto explain that I had mailed the payment on Janand I could not understand how they were the only company that had not received paymentThey wrote me the following week and said if the bill was not paid by Janthey would cut service off
They cut my service off on Janand they picked up the cable box on the following Thursday, I had been without cable since Janand when they picked up the box I thought that was the end of their service with meThey were still saying that they had not got payment for January, so I mailed another $payment to pay for the January payment they told me that I owed and they had not received

I tried wowThey said if I wasn't satisfied within a month call and cancel and you owe nothingI wasn't satisfied at allSo I called and canceledThey said it was within that I owe nothingAnd just return my boxesSo I didNext month I get billSo I call and they say it's their mistake and to not payA few months later I get another billSo I call and they transfer me many time because no one can helpThe supervisor finally gets on the phone and says he'll listen to the phone call and make sure I asked for my money back and call me backWhich I know I asked for my money when cancelingOver a yr later and still no call backAfter about a month I just paid it bc I was trying to get a mortgage and this was hindering meThat house had a lien so the sale never went thoughNow a yr later I try and get another loan for a house I found and the wow thing pops up againLowered my credit score by almost pointsThis is ridiculousI can't get anyone to call me back and this is stopping me from getting a loan and I did nothing wrongIf I could give stars I wouldI would have no cable or internet if wow was the only optionThey are a jokeI would love to get someone to help me with this issue
