I received an advertising flyer that stated fee for cable bundle with phone and Internet was $ Spoke with agent on phone to arrange service, he informed me after receiving the information needed that I needed to pay $to start service which included tax and installation fees I went to WOW business office and gave clerk a check for that amount After she received check she told me the actual cost would be $a monthI called her back an hour or two later and told her I wanted to cancel that service and would come back and pick up my Check She informed me I could not do that it had been processed and the amount would be returned in 3-daysIt has been over two months and after several phone calls, I have not received my $

on 5/17/a representative came to our door to sell us internet serviceI told him we were not interested because we had spoke to someone on the phone who told us that we cannot put our service in a vacation mode when we went to FloridaHe assured us that the representatives didn't know what they were talking about and that we can certainely put our service in vacation mode and can pick up the remaining months for the contract when we come back home

I have been a customer with this WOW Internet company over three years for high speed internet I was out of country from September to December I called them and put my service under vacation plan ($per month), when I did that nobody informed me that when I return all my discounts would be eliminated and I would be paying the full monthly rate of $/ month I was also not informed that the vacation plan is applicable only once a year When I saw my bill for January ($105) I was told the only option to lower the monthly rate was to go under a month contract At that time also nobody informed me that under contract the vacation plan would not be applicable when I wanted to go out of country in March
Now this company wants me to pay the early termination fee of $inorder to come out of the contract
This company has extremely dishonest business practice and want to scam customers with half given information which suits their business policies

I am on the phone with a service technician at least once a month Lately, it's been several times a week that my cable is not working The wait time to speak with a technician is a minimum wait of 25+ minutes Once you get a technician, the problem seems to be easily solved---for a moment Then, boom, same thing happens a few days later I am always told that it has to do with their updates????
I did find out that if they are not able to fix it remotely via the phone, they will charge you a $service fee (because I did not purchase a service plan) That was certainly a surprise on my already outrageous high bill This is getting more frustrating since I have no other options except *** ***Isn't this the company that used to pride it's self with outstanding customer service I can see why those commercials have been yankedShame on this cable company to treat it's customers so poorly Rates keep increasing with no extra channels for it customers and service that goes out several days a month !!!

I established service with this company back in October & had nothing but troubleOn the 1st day of installation the tech installed the wrong box, they were charging for the residential line which was not working ( mind you I called twice about it) & the apartment came with basic cable and they were charging me full priceI have to call this co several timesOn 12/11/my fiancé died so I moved out the apartment I called and asked for my final bill, the rep that I spoke with said to turn in the box & they will send me a final bill & I asked them twice to send my final bill to ** *** *** ** *** ** ***Well I forgot about the bill until I received a call from a collection agencyI called Wow and spoke with a heartless *** he was talking over me and was told they had the wrong address for me, but sends me to a collection callthey never called to leave a message about this billjust sends me to a collection agency & not send a customer a notice

Canceled cable service 0n 12/ Received invoice on 12/which we paid by check on 12/ They took an auto debit on 12/without notice No where on invoice which is dated 12/the they were going to auto debit Now we have to wait for check to clear and once confirmed they will issue a check or we need to pay bank $for stop payment

I was a WOW Internet customer and was moving to a new home I contacted WOW to see if they have service in my new area and, if not, if I would be charged a cancellation fee They said they do not service my new area and said I would be charged a fee I asked more about the fee since they just did not service my new area and was then told they misread my account and I WOULD NOT be charged a fee I proceeded to cancel my account and returned all merchandise I just received a bill for a cancellation fee for $ I contacted WOW with the same chain of emails and they said sorry for the confusion, but there is a fee When I referenced the emails, they only acknowledged the first email where they said there was no fee I re-sent them the follow up email where they told me there would be no fee and they do not acknowledge it

I decided to switch my cable internet phone to "Wow" from ***Wow came to my home and installed their equipment and external cable to my houseThe technician never got it to workHe left, and it still was not working the next dayThis was a Friday, and Wow told me on the phone that they could not fix the issue, and would have to send a tech back to my house, but they would not do it until the following TuesdayThis was not acceptable, so I told them I want to cancel, and I switched all of the equipment back to *** myself that Friday night, so we could have TV! Wow said they made a note and told me to call back to officially cancel it after *** switched my phone number back, otherwise my phone number would be lost to another consumerSo, I did that, and it took about weeks for *** to get the phone switched, then I officially cancelledI had no phone service for weeks

We decided to change our internet and cable provider from *** to Wow They came to install twice, but couldn't due to issues they had After waiting for weeks, we decided to not go with wow It was never installed and we never had service for one day We had $taken from our checking account back on June 30th We called twice and was told it would take to get back into our account We called the third time and was told it take to weeks We waited weeks and called They said it didn't get to the right department They haven't promised anything except a call by Tuesday

wowway currently has advertised on their website specific services for 75/month, which are at a high level of service than I am paying currently at 189/month I have been a customer or years I was told that below the ad, in very small print, that this offer applies to new customers, and can not be offered to their existing customers per their legal and marketing departments They also have television commercials that say "Pick your own Package" regarding these same services, but the television commercial does not say new customers only I find these practices very deceptive, and having been a customer for years, and have the customer person also tell me this make me very angry that I am paying more than double for the same services being offered to new customers

I moved out of my rental located at *** * *** *** in October of My daughter moved into the same rental the day I moved out WOW Internet and Cable came to the rental to disconnect the cable and internet service, pick up the receivers and cable modem I had rented, and install my daughters new internet access under her brand new account When the technician arrived he completed the service and took the equipment I had rented with him WOW invoiced me $for non-return of the equipment I have spoken to them times, in which they assured me the billing would be credited I just received a new bill in the mail yesterday and it is still not credited

WowWay charges me for MODEM but I supply my own Modem rather than using their modem

I have had WowWay remove Modem rental from my bill, but unexpectedly the charges for modem reappear
Repeadedly WowWay adds rental of modem to my bill ($per month) I called WowWay yesterday and the clerk said they will NOT REFUND FOR PRIOR MONTHS modem rental, only the future months Since they sneek this modem rental fee into my bill repeatedly

I had an issue with WOW cable company taking payments from me when only was due at that time when I had to update my auto pay card information since I had to replace my card because that card information had become compromisedMy account due date was set for the 28th of each month but had it set with WOW that I'd be charge on the 1st since of there agents messed up on the connection date & was originally suppose to have it to where my due date would fall on the 1st or the 3rd anyways since that's when I get paidThey double charged me on either December 10th or 11th (& finished processing at my bank December 12th) well before my next bill was even due, putting my account into overdraftUpon contacting WOW about this mess up the agent informed me it would take atleast business to get the $they had no right taking at that time back to me or I could leave it like that & not have to pay a bill until February I told the WOW agent that I needed the money back
