When I switched from renting a wireless modem from them (which never even actually worked) to having my own, they told me not to worry about turning in the old one because they were phasing out that model anywaySo when I moved, they decided since I didn't return the old modem (which is long gone now), they were going to charge me $250, which they say is the value of that 15mbps yellow plastic dinosaurTheir terms and conditions are buried in their website somewhere and they never disclosed any of it to me, but I did eventually find that they have the right to charge whatever they feel like, call it "liquidated damages" to make it legal (because penalties aren't, apparently) and then force me to payAnd there's nothing in there to protect meWell they got a couple hundred bucks worth of rent for that thing, plus another $to cover its replacement cost, and they would lose me as a customer if it weren't for the fact that I would have to pay over $to terminate their serviceAll this in addition to the numerous other customer service disasters I've had to live throughThey are the most anti-helpful group I've ever had to deal withAs soon as the service plan agreement expires (or the ETF drops to a more reasonable amount), I'm running away and never looking back

I have had this service for less than a month and since I have had them I have had many complaintsMy service have not been working they keep having these people come out every week and is not doing anything about the inconvenienceThis is the worse service that you can get

Wow has been charging me for services that I never directly authorizedThey claim that since I was paying the bill (via automated billing) that constitutes acceptance of the charges, even though I never gave verbal protection written authorization
This is actually part of their contract/policy under terms and conditions section 9-E it states:
"Failure to object to a billing statement in writing within the day period constitutes Customer’s conclusive acceptance
of the accuracy of the billing statementIn all events, Customer is required to pay the undisputed amount of the billing
statement."
This means that agents of the company who most likely work on commission, can add services and charges without any consent, and if we, consumers, fail to catch it, we obliged to pay those chargesIf that is not a scam, I don't know what is

I have been trying to get phone service with WowI have been calling and trying for weeks now and the only thing I get is they will call me backThey ask have I moved which I did in April so I guess they changed my account number because they say when they try to schedule an appointment for service they get an errorWhat irritates me is they say they are going to call me back and they never doIf they can't get it to work just say that or change my account number instead of telling me the same thing to get me off the phone

I received a delinquency letter stating my account was as past due back in December I contacted customer service and they argued me down that I was delinquent but could not tell me how much or for what month Then they proceeded to tell me I received the letter in error and to Disregard the letter They said it was a system error They did not offer any type of apology or express any empathy I feel like I should have at least gotten a bill credit for having to waste my time to contact customer service
