Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

I am rejecting this response because Capella has never addressed its problemsThis entire issue began from the very beginning of my experience with CapellaCapella has NEVER EVER accepted any responsibility for the lack of tutors for Stats the FIRST and SECOND time I took it The delay led to all the problems since The FLEX PROGRAM was rolled out before it was ready, I believedI think it would behoove the Revdex.com to find out how many people took and passed the GenPsych Flex program in its entirety during the time time I enrolled with my first class with CapellaIt was glitchy and slow and delayed my progress, but Inferential Stats was what really sent my whole program into a tail spin I had a limited window of time to complete my Masters before relatives in my life were going to need caregivingI was assured there were tutors, SMOOTH RUNNNING websites, and there was no reason someone of my intellect and proven academic history could not complete it in a timely mannerI pointed out the programs' problems regularly, but foolishly kept hoping it would get better.PLEASE NOTE that I was REJECTED from the FLEX PATh program, but Capella took LONGER THAN THEY PROMISED to address my grievancesI have the dates and recordsTHE DELAY AND DENY tactics holds students of good will and ability to be stuck into the program longerI can only presume this is to make more moneyI am shocked at the shoddiness I found from a REGIONALLY ACCREDITED institutionAttached is an explanation and some artifacts of many I have, to point out problems

? I am rejecting this response because:This is information I've already stated and the basis of this complaintIf the university had students enrolled in a doctoral program that was retired and not even worthy of a lessor masters degree the students should have been informed and afforded the opportunity to have their tuition refundedThe current excuse is unacceptable!

February 14th, 2018? To whom it may concern:? This letter is in response to Ms [redacted] ’s complaint # [redacted] The nature of Ms [redacted] ’s complaint is that she has a balance due for a course she dropped and did not participate in.Ms [redacted] was in an undergraduate business program and enrolled in BUS?" I live and work in Virginia, in the state of Virginia there are over eight million peopleLike any state the cost of living varies throughout VirginiaI live in the Washington Metropolitan area which includes northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DCOne of the notable happening in the metropolitan area is the opening of MGM Casino in MarylandAccording to the Bureau of Labor Statistics there was a 5.4% growth in leisure and hospitality jobs and I strongly believe this had a lot to do with the casinoWashington, DC had an unemployment rate of 5.4% which was the highest in the metro areaI can say this has a lot to do with the federal hiring freeze and layoffsIn the town I live in there is a lot of housing developments underwayIn looking at the census search I can see that over three hundred thousand properties are vacantMost of the properties that are for sale are priced at a point where you can get a new development built for the same price.? I am rejecting this response because: They are certainly generous with other peoples’ money, especially the US Department of EducationIn my case, Capella is trying to defraud me because a computer was necessary for admission that they implied was a promotional offer and would be refunded upon purchaseI relied on that even though they don't admit it nowThey deceived me and confused me with changing expensive degree programs for which I was unqualified by their own admission policy Plus, the Federal government was the lender and my balance with them is zero only because I threatened to complain to their OmbudsmanIf Capella continues without satisfactory Revdex.com settlement of discontinuing collection, a formal complaint will be filed in Pennsylvania under the Unfair Trade Practices & Consumer Protection Law, and a complaint with the Minnesota Attorney General for fraudFinally, if they do report this to any credit bureau, a complaint will be filed with the Federal Trade Commission that handles these kinds of collection disputesyours truly, [redacted]

I have filed complaints about Capella late last year with one of the same issues, which is financial aid problemsI had to file these complaints in order for the school to give me my money (tuition disbursements from financial aid)This was a problem that first occurred from September to just before December last yearTheir alleged "IT issue" is still not fixed, causing my account wth the school to be in owing balance when it shouldn't be as well as me not receiving my disbursement againI have one coming up in the first week of March and their issue is still not solvedThe most recent issue with them is currently, I got dropped from my current course (while no one emailed, called or anything to tell me this; I found out myself by logging on trying to see my graded paper and seeing I was no longer registeredI called the school Wednesday 2/17/to ask why and they told me it's because my account has a balanceThis balance is first of all, not my fault as financial aid/fafsa covers this and the school shouldn't be holding me liable for that because of an IT issue on their end that's been going on for monthsSecondly, I am now having to out my education on hold because of this issue, not being able to continue my graduate degree workI am absolutely furious with this school at this pointI either want them to fix this course problem and get me my disbursement in the first week of March, or to credit me back a portion of ,y education so I can go elsewhereThis is just ridiculous and I have never had problems with a college/university like themI will also take the necessary next steps to get this solved with one of these options if I need to I am wanting a refund of a portion of my expenses/education that I've wasted and dealt with being at this schoolI also want them to give me my financial aid disbursement due in the first week of March which is supposed to be $1, ***copied and pasted from duplicate complaint filed 02/18/ Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 17, 2016/02/29) */ To whom it may concern: This letter is in response to Ms [redacted] 's complaint # [redacted] Ms [redacted] 's complaint centers around the delay in getting her FlexPath financial aid disbursement and refund When Ms [redacted] moved into her second Payment Period in August, we were not able to disburse financial aid to her due to what we refer to internally as the "hard close issue" This issue persisted through her entire payment period 2, so the week before Thanksgiving we reached out and offered her a Financial Aid Refund Advance for Billing Sessions & in the amount of $2, She then finished up payment period on 2/4/2016, and moved into Academic Year and was again charged tuition Recently, we were able to determine that her disbursement issues were related to how our third-party FlexPath financial aid vendor was reading (or not reading) the weeks she attended in a course she failed We were able to correct this misread in the system, and we actually disbursed her financial aid from all past due billing sessions on 2/23/ This effectively covered any balances she had on her account from the first academic year, and her current charges from the second academic year She now also has an additional refund processing out to her direct deposit account for $1,as of today, 2/25/ We apologize for any undue hardship or stress that this situation may have caused Ms [redacted] We do not anticipate that there will be any further technical issues or delays in the disbursement of her financial aidPlease feel free to contact me with any further questions or concerns [redacted] Learner Affairs Associate Learner Services & Operations (LSO) Direct Line: [redacted] [redacted] Toll Free: 1.888.CAPELLA ( [redacted] ) ext [redacted] Fax: [redacted] E-mail: [redacted] @capella.edu Capella University Capella Tower [redacted] Minneapolis, MN www.capella.edu Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (2000, 19, 2016/03/02) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) This letter is in response to Ms [redacted] ***’s complaint # [redacted] Ms***’s complaint centers around the balance on her account due to a lack of financial aid toward the end of her program with CapellaThis balance is currently preventing the release of her official transcript? During the 2015-financial aid year, Ms [redacted] hit the annual limit on Stafford loans as determined by the Department of Education, which is currently set at $12,for students in their 3rd year and beyondEven with the addition of $2,in grant money, the charges in tuition were greater than the financial aid available due to the amount of undergraduate credits Ms [redacted] took within the financial aid yearHad a portion of those credits been taken in the 2016-financial aid year, there would have been further Stafford funding availableAs it stands, the difference between the charges in tuition and the aid Ms [redacted] had available was $That $is the current remaining balance on her account and is preventing the release of her official transcript ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? I have consulted with our business office, and we would be willing to allow the release of Ms***’s official transcript under certain conditionsIn the event a learner cannot resolve a balance in full, a formal payment plan is certainly an option.?
