I had a warranty with car shield and when my vehicle needed repairs they didn't honor the contract. Said my vehicle wasn't covered. I have paid on the warranty for a year and when cancelled the warranty they didn't refund me the money back or help with any repairs.
had one repair claim called in to her service contract administrator for a component that was not listed as covered in her powertrain's service contract terms.
Her service contract has been cancelled as she requested and she has been issued the pro rated refund she is due, per her service contract terms.
$150.00 was credited back to her Visa Card on 9/18/2019 and the remainder of her prorated refund, $397.98, was mailed to her *** address on 9/23/2019.

I am rejecting this response because: Car shield should repay the full amount that was paid into warranty since the did not cover any repairs to my vehicle.
Sincerely
has had one repair claim called in to her service contract administrator for a component that was not listed as covered in her powertrain's service contract terms. The vehicle had been run to overheat, which excludes the vehicle from coverage per her service contract terms; and the vehicle needed the head gasket replaced, which is not listed for coverage under the powertrain service contract terms..
Her service contract has been cancelled as she requested and she has been issued the pro rated refund she is due, per her service contract terms. $137.00 was deducted from her refund in tow bills that were paid.
$150.00 was credited back to her *** Card on 9/18/2019 and the remainder of her prorated refund, $397.98, was mailed to her *** address on 9/23/2019.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I Am not happy with this response I believe I should be compensated the full refund. Car shield has several complaints against them for bad service. They trick individuals with the warranty they provide making you believe you are covered when your vehicle needed repairs. The warranty has wording that contradicts one phase with another phase it very confusing and that is how they lour individual into the warranty.
Sincerely
I have a 2011 Infiniti FX35. After watching the CarShield Ad, I felt like that would be a great extended coverage for my vehicle. I had the Platinum Plan (according to sales reps the best plan) at $108.00 per month via auto pay. Well my vehicle failed on me on September 20, 2019 and I call CarShield. I was told to have my car towed to my choice of mechanic or dealer. I had my car towed (which was covered up to $75.00 to *** (***) and *** diagnose my problem as "Valve Cover Body, pertaining to the transmission", when I told them I had a CarShield warranty, they told me that they do not do business with CarShield because of their reluctance to approve service, their hesitation to pay if they do approve service and overall just bad business practices(leaving a caller on hold for long periods of time). I had to have my vehicle towed a second time for 14 miles at the fee of $57.00 out of pocket because CarShield did not make it known to me that I had up to $400.00 coverage for towing. On 09-24-2019, this second tow was to ***, after I told them that I had CarShield and that they would accept my car. However, *** warned me that CarShield was a company that many mechanics or dealers did not worked with, and told me that they would check the car out and contact CarShield with the diagnosis of the problem with my car. It turned out to be the Alternator not putting out the proper voltage to the electrical systems of my car. *** told CarShield what the part cost and labor charges and CarShield refused to comply, stating that the part was too costly and the labor charges was too "inflated". I was told by *** that CarShield would only approve an "After Market" inferior part for my high-end car. I was then told that if I did not want to have *** fix my car that I would have to have it towed away from *** and pay the diagnosis fee of $187.00. I then approve *** to fix my car for $859.90 out of my pocket and immediately call CarShield to cancel my contract *** with them. This cancellation call was on on 10-05-2019. I verified that cancellation call on 10-08-2019 with ***, a CarShield representative. Hopefully with my complaint along with the other 500+ complaints the next potential victim is forewarned. I seek reimbursement of my payments for at least six months. CarShield's fraudulent business practices and misleading advertising caused pain and suffering without my car for at lease 12 days as CarShield would not approve a rental car until their proposal for repair was accepted by ***.
We contacted your service contract administrator on your behalf regarding the claim you have referred to. Your service contract administrator stated that your repair facility would offer no warranty on the parts your administrator was providing for your repair. Your repair facility was also charging ad additional amount for labor on top of the labor hours listed for the repair in ***.
You chose to authorize the repair without using your service contract benefits.
Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested. In a good faith effort to resolve this matter, we will refund the money you have paid into your service contract minus the fees that were paid out for towing.
I welcome the refund. It still remains that no repair facility or business will deal with CarShield because they want to supply substandard parts for quality cars. No, the company would not warrant the parts that CarShield wanted to supply because they are a reputable business (***) and more than likely they are Revdex.com accredited and don't want to jeopardize that rating.
Negative 1 BILLION STARS!! HORRIBLE! LIARS! THEY STEAL FROM CUSTOMERS! Will tell prospective customers what they want to hear just to get MONEY! THEY LIE ABOUT THEIR SERVICES!! If you want to cancel their customer support employees are TRAINED to avoid you canceling your policy. THEY WILL USE ALL tactics to get this done including bullying, shaming, and emotional tactics to make the customer feel as they they are a bad person for canceling their policy. THIS IS DEPLORABLE BEHAVIOR! If you want a refund for a policy that you have recently paid for in the start of the month...FORGET IT! THEY SPEW ALL THESE LIES about how they can't give you a refund due to their service being month to month. So basically, if you cancel you are allowing them to STEAL your monthly payment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY STEAL FROM CUSTOMERS AND MAKE EXCUSES WHY THEY CAN'T COVER A PART THAT THEY "SAY" THEY COVER.
1. "WE cover all your parts to your car."
Bold faced lie as they only cover certain parts for your car.
2. "Simply take your car into ANY mechanic and we will do the rest."
ANOTHER HUGE LIE. NOT ALL mechanics accept Carshield/***.
3. You will never pay more than your deductible.
Yup, another lie. A $100 deductible can turn into $3k really quickly.
4. "We don't give refunds."
TRUTH is you won't get a refund after your first '20 day" waiting period. If you don't cancel before your 20 day waiting period is up, you won't EVER get a refund, not even for the month you pay then cancel the policy. EVEN if you paid them 4 days prior to canceling your policy. SO YOU ARE PAYING THEM FOR NOTHING. THEY WILL KEEP YOUR MONTHLY PAYMENT. THAT IS STEALING! CAN YOU HEAR ME?
All the covered components for the powertrain service contract you purchased are addressed at the time of sale. You also received your service contract terms in the mail for your review. All covered components are listed in your contract terms. You can all any time during your first 30 days to ask any questions you may have, or you may cancel your service contract if there is anything you do not like regarding the coverage terms.
A repair claim was submitted for your vehicle's head gasket. It is specifically listed in your service contract terms that seals and gaskets are not eligible for stand alone coverage. Your service contract administrator then offered to negotiate with your repair facility on your behalf to get the cost for your repair as low as possible. They were able to negotiate the cost of your repair down by $500.00 to help you with the repair of this non covered component.
Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested and you are in the process of being refunded the 3 payments you have made, minus the tow fee that was paid.
Scammers! Do not buy from this company. They’re a complete rip off. Afters mouths of paying $176 in coverage. An issue finally occurs and they deny my claim and cancelled my policy. Also, refused to pay the dealership for diagnostic testing. Beware!
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate the opportunity to respond. Your service contract was voided by your administrator because your vehicle was found to have an odometer rollback and a rebuilt title. If the true mileage of your vehicle cannot be verified due to odometer rollback, your vehicle is not eligible for coverage.
Your service contract has been cancelled and you are in the process of being refunded in full.
This company is a complete scam, Save your money. I had this company for 5 months, my transmission went out on the 5th month and they sent out an adjuster who didn't even drive the car and stated because I had scratch on the tire it was able to be driven. They denied the claim because they couldn't repopulate the codes. I wasted 500$ with this *** company and they didn't even pay for anything. The sales representative then proceeded to tell me how I needed the warranty because they could offer me a damn discount of 10-30%. Sorriest company in the history, do not waste your time and money, go buy a warranty from a dealership, it's more money upfront but it saves you money on the back end. they are all *** artist. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
Please contact your service contract administrator at ***. They have notes in your repair claim file that they have spoken with your repair facility today regarding the claim process. They are waiting for your repair facility to drop the transmission pan and send pictures along with diagnosis to move forward with the claims process.
That’s a lie as well. They never contacted my repair facility about anything. They weren’t waiting for pictures. The adjuster didn’t even drive the vehicle and they denied the claim. I should sue this *** company for my monthly premium but I’m sure I can’t. Again THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM RUN FAST! They’re scam artist.
Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested and you are in the process of being refunded the payments you have made into your service contract.
Listen responder,
You are lying. The lady *** said I was not able to receive a refund, so why would you continue to lie like this. This company is a scam and y’all should really be ashamed to call yourself a company. You got me but you won’t get me and hopefully whoever is reading this review!
I purchased a warranty that was a monthly plan. I was told that it covered anything mechanical and the warranty was bumper to bumper. I tried using my warranty to fix my car when it broke down. I was then told it only covered 3 things. Absolutely not what the paperwork said. This is costing my 109$ a month. So on top of the full repair bills, I’m paying them to do absolutely nothing. I want my money back!!! This is ridiculous. They said they do not give refunds. We they don’t pay customer claims either! People deserve better than having to deal with fraudulent companies!
You purchased a month to month powertrain service contract for your 2007 Chevrolet Equinox. The covered components were addressed in the initial sales call and *** received his service contract terms and conditions in the mail. *** had 30 days to read over the contract terms and receive a full refund of his initial payment if there was anything he did not like about the powertrain service contract terms and coverage.
The powertrain service contract he purchased covers parts of the engine, transmission, turbo charger, cooling system, transfer unit and drive axle. It also offers roadside assistance with towing, lockout service, battery service and fuel delivery service. Plus rental car reimbursement and trip interruption reimbursement for use during any covered repair claims.
The two claims that were presented were for a hose and an egr valve. These two components are not listed as covered components under the powertrain service contract terms.
Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested and you will be refunded in full the 3 payments you have made, as a gesture of goodwill.

Carshield continues to call me maybe three years old, and harass me about signing up for their warranty program. I finally signed up for it, and I tried to get a refund because I later found out that it's not car insurance, which I thought it was initially. I think it's unfortunate how they prey on older people who don't clearly understand what they're signing up for
Hello ***,
We are in no way associated with Carshield. We never have been and never will be. We apologize that you are having issues with them. I have looked through our records and I do not show you as a customer of ours so I do not have a way of cancelling your account and giving you a refund as we do not have any of your money and are not Carshield. We wish you the best of luck in the future and hope that you can get your money back from them (Carshield).
Thank you,

I had never given my consent for you to take money out of my account. I was supposed to pay my bill on September 28th. I went to pay the bill on the 30th and when I called in to make the payment, I was told that the bill had already been paid that day, without my consent.
Of course my objective is to pay the bill on time, but if I'm a day or so behind, there is no reason why they should be taking the funds without my permission. I want the service but I don't want the auto-pay feature.
We will have a representative give you a call to make sure you are removed from auto pay and will set you up on billing.
Thank you for reaching out to us. We will be in touch with you soon.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
As long as the amount of my monthly payment remains the same at $79, the response is satisfactory.

This company is a scam. At the time I purchased this contract, I was told one thing, and then, at every turn each different agent that they claim is familiar with your contract, and or, claim, tells you something different. I was 1st told everything was covered, the break down of the transmission, parts and labor., as long as it wasn’t Electrical. Then I was told by a different agent when I was checking on the progress of the claim, that they would only cover a portion of the breakdown which they would reimburse me for after I paid for the break down. Then the adjuster told me that they cover the repair and parts and labor, not the break down. Then after continued back and forth phone calls and another adjuster going out. They then blamed it on rust. This is completely a SHAM. I would really like to start a class action lawsuit. Especially after speaking with different repair shops that concur that they feel they’re a SCAM.
You purchased a month to month powertrain service contract for your 2002 Escalde with 156,000 miles on 8/5/2019. A repair claim was submitted on 9/25/2019 for a transmission replacement. An inspection of your vehicle showed water contamination inside the transmission causing sub damage. Water damage is not covered in your service contract terms. Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested and you will be refunded the 1 payment you have made back to your *** Card ***.
No, I do not agree. I was not under any assumption ion that my service contract was month to month. They stated I would be billed monthly, as I would with any insurance. They claims adjuster told me that it was denied because of rust. The radiator cracked some hoe and the two are mounted together, the design of the truck and that creates the issue. They were staying I didn’t have the car long enough and that it has not hardly been driven. I drove to Florida and back, as well as around the metro atlanta area. When I explained that to Car Shield, they changed the reason for the damage until they finally stated rust/water damage. I spoke with them and at no time and no where was I told shown in my contract where that applied. And I told them that their handling of the Mayer was leading me to question.

Contamination inside the transmission was shown to have water mixed with the transmission fluid which would cause rust damage.
Your one payment made has been refunded.

I am rejecting this response because: they are alleging that there was a time period of sustained damage. When this occurred in one day. Then they told me that I only recently purchased the car and they had no way of knowing if it had been driven. I told them I drove it to and from Orlando, and there wasn’ta problem. Then this situation occurred. And I told them exactly what happened and how it happened and they said it was covered.
Sincerely
We have refunded this customer in full. There is no more we can do to resolve this complaint. If *** has any further dispute regarding the repair claim, she would need to address that toward the administrator and obligated party under the service contract, American Auto Shield. They can be reached, as shown in her service contract on the first 3 pages, ***.The most we can do, as the marketer, is issue a full refund, which is what we have done as of February 5, 2020.
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I would like the state office that controls their advertising in Georgia, information. And also, Because you don’t find out about this American Auto shield underwriter until you file a claim. So it as if you are being pushed around from one office or company, to another to get a claim satisfied and when they reject you, and you try to pursue the situation, again you’re bounced around and everybody associated with the situation on car shield and this American auto shield side is a new person every single time you make a phone call to them. I assume they want you to get frustrated and give up from having to start over and over and over and over again with a new Agent. Because I was told by one agent that it was covered then, when I called back I was told that I had water damage, and after I explained how the repair shop explain to me how things happened they didn’t change their response to the reason why they rejected me and then I was told that it was rust. I continuously got ran around, thus, the runaround.I would like to be reimbursed the cost that I had to pay to have my car repaired, because they told me that it was covered and then backed out with all type of excuses. After an adjuster checked the car out and said that it was covered. Then they sent out another adjuster and said that it wasn’t covered with the other excuses. Then when I call back the gentleman that I spoke to said that it was covered in another woman that I spoke to said that it was covered. Then they told me that those two didn’t know what they were talking about and that I had rust when at first they said that I didnt have the car long and I hadn’t driven it or was it drivable as if the car had been sitting and I wasn’t driving it. But I drove the car to Florida to Disney and then back as well as around the city for work. Then, Again he started in stating a new cause or something else that caused the problem. Thus, continues with the runaround.
Sincerely
When you purchased your service contract, you were told that your service contract would be administered by American Auto Shield out of Colorado. When you received your service contract by mail and email, it lists American Auto Shield as your service contract administrator and obligated party under your service contract. We have attached the pages of your contract showing American Auto Shield's information.American Auto Shield is the proper part to contact if you have any dispute regarding a repair claim, as we stated before. You have been refunded in full the 99.00 you paid into your service contract and your refund has been received by your credit card company. We respectfully request this complaint be closed as resolved.
I received a letter from CarShield claiming that my vehicle service contract needed to be activated because my factory warranty had expired. I haven't owned a vehicle in 8 years and I had never heard of CarShield before receiving this letter. Therefore, the information contained in the letter they sent me is completely false and a lie. I called their customer service and asked them to remove my information from their system. We'll see how that goes. CarShield seems to be looking to make easy money off gullible people in what is obviously a huge scam effort. Just look at how many complaints there are online. Do not trust CarShield.
You have been removed from our mailing list as you requested.
To whom it may concern for your own financial safety Do not do buisness of of any kind with Carshield .It is a total scam and a fraud, you will regret it and for sure get swendeled out of your money they are totally dishonest!!!!!
I spoke with a sales person from Carshield who represented their policy would cover all repairs to my vehicle, including the motor and transmission. I purchased a contract from Carshield for automotive repair coverage only on the basis of Carshield representations of coverage. My vehicle suffered a motor issue, however Carshild denied my claim stating they do not repair motors, but only the "moving parts of engines."
We contacted your service contract administrator on your behalf to obtain information on the repair claim you have brought to our attention.
***, your service contract administrator, stated that your repair facility stated your engine was filled with coolant and needed to be replaced. *** asked what caused the engine to fill with coolant. Your repair facility stated that the engine had overheated. Per your service contract terms, overheating is excluded from coverage and the claim was correctly denied.
Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested and you are being refunded the 2 payments you have made, minus the towing fee that was paid.

You were also mailed your service contract terms and conditions to review for 30 days, with a full refund if there was anything you did not like about the service contract terms. Today I received a letter from Car Shield saying I own a 2012 Toyota Camry. I do not own a car nor do I know how to drive. The letter was concerning a vehicle warranty that has expired. I called them and asked that they remove my name and no longer contact me. I do not know how they got my name, apt. number and address. They refused to remove my name.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If you could provide the ID number that appeared on the mailer you received, we would be happy to remove the information from our data base.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

A complete joke!!! Was told covers just about everything, my platinum policy (lol). Wish I had looked at Revdex.com before agreeing to charges! I usually do.,,but was caught off guard. Took 2014 Lincoln MKS to dealership because air conditioning wasn’t working properly. Left there from 9-19 to 9-26. Supposedly part on national backorder! Dealer needed me to pay for needed part upfront. Car shield told dealer they would handle getting part etc. I wasn’t paying upfront. No one could tell me when part would be in. But Lincoln told me if part was ordered and paid for; could put a rush on it!!! Also, they never heard of a warranty not going ahead and paying for part!!!! Anyway, after back and forth with carshield, told them better stop auto payments on my credit card. Effective today. 9-30-2019.
Your claims administrator stated that your repair facility wanted up front payment for the part needed, if you wanted them to order it and put a rush on the order. Once the repair was completed and the final invoice was sent to your claims administrator, they would have reimbursed you for the covered portion of your repair invoice. When you called our office on 9/30/2019 this was being explained when you stated that you wished to cancel your service contract. It has been cancelled as you requested.
LOL. As I stated; wish I had checked the comments on the Revdex.com site.
Car shield cancelled my policy because the milage was put on the contract and while maki g the contract I was not told that if the mileage was not correct I had 24 hours to correct or my policy would be canceled. That info is in the comformation and they do not tell you that it wpyld me email to I do not have unlimited data on my phone so I did not get the email till about 3 or 4 days later when I bought more data. I work 10 t0 10 so data is not an issue for me cause I really don't use it. They should have told me and I would have made sure I had it. Email is not good business because they don't know how long it takes me to get my emails and it could take 24hrs for me to get it. Now my car is in the shop and they don't want to pay. I got my policy july 8 and the said nothing about this till August 23 is when I found out if some one had brought it to my attention earlier I could have changed it and when I said 1076 ghey should have know a 1998 car would have more miles then that and I misspoke. But no one said anything until I want to use what I paid for 129 a month and the only want to give me 49.00 after 2 payments.this come is Fraudulent they do not give you all needed info before you get the contrack but they hold you responsible for all the info. Getting the comformation after you sign me up is to late the info about the miles should have told to me at the signing not after and that is whrn they sent it to afterso I lnow nothing about how the milage was at the time of signing and no one told and th hey listen to the phone call and heard me say what I said but said nothing about how tbe rep said nothing about 24 hrs to get the correct mileage.I spoke with someone while giving milage and they said it was important how bout they listen to that phone conversation I told them to listen to all if them so they can see how there reps are not doing their job but the customers ate suffering for it.they told me to sign a new contract but they will not fix my car because it is perexsestenting.
When you set up your service contract you provided the mileage on your vehicle as 1076 miles. The sales representative even questioned you on your low mileage. You assured him that the mileage of 1076 was accurate. You were told to call back with the correct mileage if that was not accurate. You told the sales representative several times that 1076 was the correct mileage.
When your vehicle was was towed to the repair facility with no compression in the engine, your mileage was over 100k miles. Your service contract administrator asked you to provide service records so they could verify the mileage and you did not have any service records to provide. You also stated that your vehicle had been sitting at your home for 2 to 3 weeks before you had it towed to the shop. This would make the failure pre-existing the effective date of your service contract.
Your service contract administrator voided your contract due to misrepresentation of mileage, per your contract terms, and you are in the process of receiving a full refund minus the towing fee that was paid.

When your vehicle was was towed to the repair facility with no compression in the engine, your mileage was over 100k more than what you initially reported your mileage to be at the time you purchased your service contract on July 9, 2019. Your service contract administrator asked you to provide service records so they could verify the mileage and you did not have any service records to provide. Ok I just got a phone call from car shield and they are wanting to put a policy on the sabb they are telling me I told them there 222.00 something and I told them about 1080.00 so where did that come from listen to the phone call and was told they add miles to it. I purchase the premium Warrenty content from auto shield , my transmission was giving me trouble on August 29, 2019. I’ve sent them all of my oil change records and everything they ask for, the technician sent them the mechanical transmission codes and he told them the transmission is failing and isn’t working, now car shield is telling me they want me to pay for a break down of the transmission because all the parts isn’t covered, when I purchased the premium warranty contract they assured me the transmission and engine was totally covered the only thing I was responsible for is a 100$ deductible. I’ve been lied to and stress out dealing with this entire process.
Your service contract terms state that your service facility will need to diagnose the failure when one occurs. You did not want to agree to authorize your repair facility to teardown to find cause of failure and opted to purchase a rebuilt transmission.
Your service contract administrator cannot move forward with your repair without cause of failure verified by your repair facility.
Your service contract is still active for future covered repairs. Please contact customer service *** if you have any further questions or concerns.

I called Carshield to sign up. When I spoke with the lady on the phone, she said I wasn't a member but she had taken my debit card number. She told me to call back in three days. When I called back, they answered as ***. I didn't want to be a part of them because I had issues in the past with the business. Somehow they had my card information. The guy I spoke with told me he was going to take $140 out of my account. I asked him not to but he didn't listen. This money was eventually refunded to me but when I tried calling Carshield, they answered as MetCo. I told them I thought I was calling Carshield and they said, no, we are better than them and you'll like us more. They also had my card information but didn't take money out, however Carshield did this time. They took out $109 in May. I tried calling again and asked specifically for someone with Carshield. When I finally got someone on the phone they tried telling me I was part of their service and took another $109 for a June payment. So far I am out $218 for services I didn't know I was receiving. I was never told I was signed up and never agreed to it.
You did purchase a service contract for your 2009 Honda Accord and gave authorization for payments to be run each month on the 13th.
Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested and you are in the process of receiving a full refund.
We have removed you from our mailing list and call list, so you should be receiving no additional contact from our company.

DONT EVER BUT WARRANTED FROM THIS COMPANY. Their salespeople just want to sell and will lie just to get you in the contract. Diamond elite coverage is all *** they don’t cover anything and will find a way to not cover you. Please guys don’t waste your money and time with this company. Thank you
The vehicle service contract you purchased does cover a great many components, as listed in your contract terms. However, excluded form coverage is your alignment and strut mounts. Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested and you are in the process of being refunded the 2 payments you have made.
I purchase an warranty on my suv 2 months ago and I took it into the shop to get serviced from this CarShield warranty that I purchased as I go in to get my suv serviced the Chevy people told me that carshield didn’t accept my claim to service 1 of the 3 issues wrong with my car, and 1 of the issues is clear in my warranty they sent but yet they still denied and now I have to come out of pocket with $562 for an false advertisement that they have done
You purchased a Powertrain Gold Service Contract for your 2008 Chevy Equinox with 97,650 miles on August 14, 2019. All covered components were addressed during the sales call and listed in the service contract you received by mail. You also had a 30 day free look period to review the contract terms. If there was anything you did not like about the coverage, you could have cancelled it and received a full refund.
Your repair claim was denied by your service contract administrator because the failed components were not listed as covered in your contract terms.
Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested and you are in the process of being refunded in full the two payments you have made.

Car sheild mislead me to get me to become a customer. I disclosed everything about my vehicle. Its an 02 cadillac, which I explained that it may have slipped in the past and that my odometer is digital and goes out from time to time. When my truck wouldnt back up and placed claim to get transmission replaced, they refused because they couldnt get an odometer reading, which I disclosed to the initial rep ar the time of starting policy. In which at the time, the rep told me that the odometer not working properly wont be an isse if claim is made, which was a lie. Now car sheild refuses to refund me my money. I would have never made payments every month if I was told from the beginning that my odometer not working properly would be an issues. Real scam artists. And the warranty company you actually have to deal with, is an outsourced third party company that has nothing to do with car sheild. All car sheild wants is your money. This company is a fraud and should be shutdown asap. Worst company and worst experience ever. I knew it was to good to be true
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We have checked with your service contract administrator to get information on your repair claim. Your vehicle was towed into the repair facility with an inoperable odometer. Your service contract administrator let the repair facility know that, if they could get the odometer working and obtain accurate mileage, they could move forward with the repair claim process. If they could not obtain accurate and true mileage, the service contract would be voided.
Your repair facility could not obtain accurate mileage or fix the odometer. Your vehicle is ineligible for coverage due to the fact that correct mileage cannot be determined.
You are in the process of being refunded in full minus the 60.25 that was paid for roadside assistance. Your *** Card *** has already been credited in the amount of 89.00 for your initial payment, and the remainder of your refund will be mailed to the address you have listed in this complaint within 10-15 business days.
