Your service contract administrator has authorized your repair claim in the amount of $3,319.55. We are glad we are able to provide you with coverage for this costly repair.

I'm researching this company and expressing my common sense opinion. If this company actually fulfilled the outlandish promises they make they'd quickly go broke. How can a company qualify a 20 year old, 150,000 mile vehicle without first inspecting it? The short answer is they don't care about the vehicle's condition because they don't intend on paying any claims, if they did they'd quickly go broke.

The contract which you can't see or review until after you sign up, is a quagmire of disclaimers that would take a legion of lawyers days to decipher. If this weren't the case, broken vehicles throughout the country would be covered and fixed by this company after a 20 day grace period, how long do you think CarShield would be in business? No brainer, it's an obvious scam.

Please see the attached copy of the front of the envelope and of a letter I received in today’s mail from CarShield***, which was mailed from zip code *** which is in New Jersey about “Personal And Confidential Open Immediately” and my letter to this company. Please note that I have NEVER heard of this company in your area NOR of any of the towns listed in the zip code 08031. Nor do I have ANY vehicle and I HAVE NO plans to purchase one in the near future. I am most definitely NOT a customer of the CarShield Company and I am NOT paying for any of their attempted scams.
As I noted when I wrote to your Revdex.com in 2017 about various vehicle scams, I am the continued victim of identity theft, vehicle scams and other types of scams.
However, it is entirely possible that some of the persons who have stolen my identity and who have purchased vehicles I formerly owned and sold may have attempted to purchase warranties for them or for others that they have purchased using my identity, as they have done in the past and are currently attempting to do. This is a total scam on behalf of my mentally ill relatives and non-relatives, especially my sister and brother-in-law and others of different races and genders who live in Missouri and also in other states, including Pennsylvania, many of whom are forgerers, and who have pulled many vehicle scams of all kinds on me for many years, including attempts to purchase and repair vehicles using my name, address, etc.
Many persons have been scammed by the CarShield Company according to the latest *** report, which indicates the company is NOT accredited by your Revdex.com. I have notified the company mentioned above to request the IMMEDIATE removal of my name and address from their files and I have also sent a letter of complaint to an appropriate federal government organization to request its help in stopping this company from scamming persons. I am paying absolutely NOTHING for any of their scams and will seek legal action against them and the organizations involved.
The company should be alerted to watch for scam efforts despite the removal of my name and address and your organization should put an F rating for the company in your annual Revdex.com Business Review of the company’s performance.

Thank you for your letter dated August 12, 2019 about the problems I had with the above CarShield company as notes in my enclosed letter. I did not receive your letter with the company's complaint in time to get my response back to you within your deadline due to my continued mail tampering and other problems.

Please not that while I appreciate the removal of my name and address from the company's files, that persons who have misused my identity and who continue to do so still reside in apartments in my apartment building and elsewhere and that the company should be made aware of the continued possibility of such scams, including in their state in which some of these persons reside, which can harm the company and other consumers. Please not also that a black mark and F rating should be included in your annual Business Bureau report about the company.

Following is my response to the company which I have put in quotation marks:

Dear Consumer Relations Manager:

Thank you for your response to the Revdex.com in your area concerning the removal of my name and address from your mailing list. The Revdex.com's letter dated August 12, 2019 is the first I have heard of your company's compliance with my request because of continued mail tampering problems caused by persons which prompted my request. Many of these persons continue their many types of identity theft and scams; some of them reside in your area and such scams could continue to have bad consequences for your company and other customers. which could result in legal action if your kind action of removing my name and and address from your files has not resolved the problem."

CarShield Response • Sep 16, 2019

We have removed *** information from our mailing list. She should receive no additional mail pieces from our company. We have resolved her complaint with our company by removing her from our list. We do sympathize with her concern regarding mail tampering in her area, however, there is nothing our company can do regarding the mail tampering that is going on in her apartment complex. We respectfully request this complaint be closed as resolved.

I own a 2002 Mercedes G500 with 199000 miles on it I called CarShield 2 months ago has an in-depth conversation with sales rep who stated that the company would cover my car “engine and it’s components, transmission and it’s components water pump axle” stated as long as the services records were current and not electrical cause! I asked repeated questions about anything goes wrong you cover it he said “yes”. I didn’t get the policy right away but they took my money right away. Two months later I’m in for a oil change and they say something is wrong with engine manifold. The mechanic calls CarShield they say nope not covered then they say oh covered but not covered due to poor maintenance without requesting any car records. I call customer service to investigate talk to supervisor *** and she debates argues and says you do know your car is almost 20 years old with 199,000 miles on it I said uhm yes and so did you when you charged me initially and qualified. She said well looks like you’ve canceled now and we will not be refunding any of your money! I requested to speak with her manager *** over a week ago 2 times no call back or reach out! It’s classic bait and switch and FRAUD as a description of services. On the sales call at first the policy was “$132 then it became $119 then he said what’s prohibiting you from buying this today how about $99.” The supervisor laughing at my miles and my year of my car asking me if I’m aware? They were aware and provided the coverage then denied coverage every way they could! I have maintained my vehicle and *** has all of the service records they never requested anything!

CarShield Response • Aug 13, 2019

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate the opportunity to look in to this for you.

You purchased a powertrain service contract for your 2002 Mercedes G500 with 198,122 miles on it on June 22, 2019. Your powertrain service contract terms were addressed in your initial sales call and you were mailed and emailed a copy of your service contract so you could read it over and call with any questions or concerns you may have. You had 30 days to read over the contract terms and receive a full refund of your initial payment if there was anything in the terms you didn't like for any reason.

On July 26, 2019 your repair facility called your service contract administrator to have several leaks repaired. 2 valve cover gaskets and the oil pan gasket needs to be replaced. Seals and gaskets are not listed as covered components under your powertrain service contract terms.

Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested and you will be refunded the 2 payments you have made. Your initial payment will be credited back to your Mastercard ending in 7836 and the remaining refund will be mailed to your *** address. You should receive the credit for your initial payment in appx 5 business days and your check for the remainder in appx 10 business days.

Respectfully,

Customer Relations

Horrible experience...out 89 dollars... And then they didn't want to cancel my account... JIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

CarShield Response • Aug 20, 2019

Your service contract has already been cancelled as you requested. Your payment of 89.00 is being refunded back to your Mastercard.

I had purchased an extended auto warranty policy and paid both a down payment and the first month charge, totaling to 304.89. When I had lost my vehicle I want to full refund. However I ran into an issue that is unusual and felt that it was anti-consumer practice. I was requested to send a handed letter saying I need said refund. I had sent the letter and was promise a full refund. A year later, I am now told that the policy and refund is lost to me for NON-PAYMENT. With no reliable record from the postal service I cannot take your word nor anything less than a full refund. An apology will also not be accepted. This practice of requesting weird acts and gestures and avoid return of payment in spite of adverting as such is predatory.

CarShield Response • Aug 12, 2019

Your service contract terms state a written notice of cancellation is required. This shows your intent to cancel and releases the service contract administrator from further liability for claims going forward.

We will figure the prorated refund amount you would have been due as of April 6, 2018 and issue any refund you would have been due at that time as a gesture of goodwill.

Respectfully,

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. In regards to "Car Shield" I don't know why I have too go through being mislead and have to ask the government for help. But the most painful part of this process is the fact that "Car Shield" has a professional business temperament. people like myself get plenty of phone call about car warranties. there plenty of scam like company out there. perhaps there not as successful as Car Shield , but that only mean you'll be seeing a lot more Revdex.com. if you even bother to read this message, blacklist my name from you " SERVICES". I DON'T WANT TO HEAR FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

Sincerely

This company is a joke. The worst money I ever wasted! They buy used parts, and aftermarket parts for your car and then pick the cheapest vendor. You would think you better off getting a car warranty, but not when you purchase one from them. They do what regular people do, search around to save a buck and don't give two ss about your car. My car been at the dealer since Thrusday its now Monday and my car still not fix! The car dealer still waiting for them to pick up the broke part they sent to them, and also waiting for the new part. Car shield was suppose to order my part on Friday but they never did. I'm so over this company this is beyond frustrating. Do not, I repeat do not waste your money here go to the dealer and get warranty through them.

CarShield Response • Aug 19, 2019

Your service contract administrator has paid for your alternator replacement and has issued a rental car reimbursement check to you in the amount of $200.00

Customer Response • Aug 19, 2019

A check I still haven't recieved! 200 dollar reimbursement is not worth the 20 phone calls I had to do, to make sure my car get fix! You guys have some great customer service worker and was patience with my frustration. I thank you guys for that part. But for future reference please be more thrill on explaining how things work when people ask. I'm use to not having to worry about a car dealer calling me cause I always had my warranty through them so they handle everything. But for me have to be interrupted on my vacation was very bothering!

CarShield Response • Aug 20, 2019

We do apologize for the interruption. We will check on your reimbursement check from your service contract administrator to see if it came back to them for any reason. If so, we will have them reissue one to you.

Customer Response • Aug 21, 2019

Thank you, I will appreciate it. Just email me or someone can give me a call with an update.

KEEP AWAY FROM THEM, ONE OF THE MOST TERRIBLE UNORGANIZED AND SCAM COMPANY TO LOOT YOUR MONEY - I AM WAITING ON MY TOYOTA PRIUS REPAIR FOR MORE THAN 9 DAYS AND NO ONE IN CARSHIELD SEEMS TO KNOW ANYTHING ELSE KEEP SAYING WE ARE SORRY AND THEY KEEP PASSING FROM CUSTOMER AGENT TO OTHER TO CLAIM TO BACK TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT IS INCREDIBLE HOW THEY ARE TRAINED TO MAKE YOU KEEP YOUR HOPE AND THEN YOU REALIZE THAT THEY ARE ALL BUNCH OF LIARS - TOYOTA CAR DEALERSHIP MECHANIC LAUGHS ON THEM AND TELLS ME THEY ARE BUNCH OF *** WHO HAVE NO IDEA ON REPAIRS AND ONLY THING THEY WANT TO DO IS TO NOT PAY FOR YOUR REPAID, SO KEEP DRAGGING FOR NO REASON OR PUTTING RISK ON CUSTOMER BY JUST DOING BARE MINIMAL - I AM SO TIRED AND FRUSTRATED AND STUCK THAT I HAVE BEEN PAYING FOR MONTHS OF THIS FEE AND FIRST TIME I EVER NEEDED TO USE THEM, I REALIZE HOW STUPID I WAS FALLING IN THEIR TRAP, PATHETIC COMPANY, IF MY REVIEW CAN SAVE EVEN 1 GUY TO SAVE HIS MONEY FROM THESE LOOTERS, I WILL STILL FEEL HAPPY THAT I LOST MY OWN MONEY BUT ATLEAST SOMEONE ELSE COULD LEARN FROM MY LESSON.

We contacted your service contract administrator regarding the repair claim you have referenced. Your repair facility was paid for your antilock brake pressure modulator valve repair in the amount of $2543.30.

We have all seen the ads on TV. I called the number to ask questions. The Salesman was very slick. I requested information be mailed to me so I can review and see what I was going to buy. He informed me to get a pen and we could go over it and I could write it down and then I can see it in writing. Says if they send out a contract then I have coverage. My dealership says they are not a trustworthy company. I will never buy a contract over what a salesman tell me over the phone. They will tell you to go to their website and look at sample contracts. I am not interested in a sample contract but I want to see the contract and coverage I will be getting if I picked them

CarShield Response • Aug 19, 2019

The service contracts we offer are specific to each customer's vehicle year make and mileage. However, as the representative you spoke with told you, you can view the covered components of each service contract we offer, in writing, online. The representative offered to go over the contract your vehicle qualified for with you, while you viewed it online. The terms you would have viewed online would be the exact terms in the contract you would have received, had you purchased it.

Customer Response • Aug 19, 2019

This car shield is highly questionable when they will not send you any pamphlets and try to sell you a contract based on the salesman’s verbal assurances plus I’m talking with two dealerships and several mechanics and a couple of transmission shops dealing with car shield is a headache and a nightmare as car shield does not cover what they seem to advertise on tv

This is the worst company you could ever think to use. There happy to take your money but soon as you need to use your policy. Get ready to be transferred 30 times then soon as you get to a person that kinda knows what there doing. Get ready for the salty attitude and making it seem like it’s your fault why your car is in the shop. Then on top of that still won’t cover it because they say your car being messed up is due to something that wasn’t covered which does not make sense, because that’s now why I’m in the shop.

Trying to cancel your policy is a joke, they will not let you cancel it they keep asking questions on top of questions. Telling you why there policy’s are grate. You will be on the phone for 45 min trying to end your policy.

CarShield Response • Aug 19, 2019

We have contacted your claims administrator regarding the repair claim you have brought to our attention. The failed component was your blower motor regulator. The component is not listed in your contract terms as a covered component. Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested.

My Dad called to cancel his membership with Car Shield & got a clown name Reed (if that’s even his name) This clown harassed my Dad on the phone, heard my Dad getting upset & I got on the phone just to get the same results. We had asked him to cancel my Dads membership that he no longer needs it & he just kept going on & on with the reason why my Dad shouldn’t cancel. I told him that we understand all that but my Dad doesn’t want it, he just wants to cancel & again he kept going on..it was frustrating talking to this Reed guy, it’s sad that Car Shield hire these bullies to work for them. My Dad is 73 years old with heart & health problems, & for Reed to be in the other end of the phone being an as was really disappointing. Car Shield should not be in business especially with rude & incapable customer service.

I bought this warranty for my car and everytime I took the car in for something that was supposed to be covered or that I was told was covered it was not the latest thing was I was told when I bought the warranty that my air conditioning was covered well they told me that since the clutch went out first and damaged the compressor the clutch was never covered but because the clutch damage the compressor the compressor is no longer covered but the compressor is a covered item so now I can't get my car fixed and I'm out $125 fee for them to or for the garage to find out what was wrong with my vehicle which I think that they should have to reimburse me because I was told that the AC was covered but they use excuses to get out of paying things by saying well this part damaged this part but this part was covered before this part that is not covered damaged it what how the heck you supposed to know and be inside your vehicle and say okay well this part the clutch is not covered but it damaged a covered part and now the covered part is not covered it does not make sense to

CarShield Response • Aug 12, 2019

We have contacted your service contract administrator regarding the repair claim you have referenced. The AC clutch is not covered under your contract terms and is a separate part from your AC Compressor.

Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested and you will be refunded the two payments you have made.

Fraudulently represented warranty to be Non Cancel-able and Guaranteed Insurable, Being a licensed agent in Florida when I reviewed the contract it was clearly a month to month contract that could be cancelled any time any month. Due to the misreprensentation, I requested cancellation back to inception of the warranty. At one point I called to see again why my cancellation was conveniently not processed by this comanpany and the guy omthe phone pressured and argued with me to the point that I gave up and told myself I would request cancellation in writing. I had written them twice as well as called again to tell them to please terminate the warranty. In May I was advised that this was handled and assured there wou;d be no future drafts/ Come today August 1st and I find that they have been drafting my credit card since May. I called again and they convenienty have "no record" of my calls nor my written communication to cancel. I was never warned that calls were recorded not was there any Federally Required notification but I when asked (thinking they could go back and listen to the call) I was advised that all calls were recorded. I want to file formal complaint regarding misrepresentation of terms of contract and failure to terminate accounts when requested verbally and in writing. This company is horrible and I would assume they have many other complaints higher in frequency than others in the same industry. I will be filing complaint as well with Florida Department of Financial Services (Insurance Commissioner) and Florida Department of Consumer Affairs. Thank you for taking this complaint/ If enough come through may be they will be help accountable and change their practices or go out of business.

CarShield Response • Aug 12, 2019

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We have checked our notes and when you called into our office in early August, you stated that you had written on your bill that you wished to cancel your service contract. We have cancelled your service contract as you have requested and will refund 3 payments to get you back to May.

I am quite upset at the moment, but this will eventually
subside. I am currently requesting $579.95 refund on a service contract based on the total monthly payments since Feb 2019, plus$99.95 charged to me for a diagnostic fee from the Buick dealer in in Bflo. I base my claim on TV advertisement that instucted you to take your car to dealer or a mechanic of your choice and CarShield will pay them directly. Today, I did just that and although my vehicle had 8-10 issues of major concern. CarShield denied them all, making this contract essentially useless to me. I was even saddled with the diagnostic fee of $99.95 although I'd already paid $480 into the contract. I consider your meritless extended warranty a fraud and a scam taking unsuspecting customers (often elderly), for their hard earned monies, giving nothing in return, creating technical terms such as "internally" which means absolutely nothing to the common consumer. Only a professional mechanic can understand this jargon. Auto shield should be ashamed of these tactics and bogus claims which cover basically nothing. To add insult to injury, the dealer refuse to release my vehicle unless I paid the diagnostic fee on the spot, which I didn't have. They were kind enough to shuttle me home until the following day when my SS check will be deposited. I called CarShield from the dealer and after holding for over 30 min, finally spoke with a rep and a supervisor who both denied paying the fee. I want every payment totaling $579.95 back for all my trouble. In addition, every single month I've had the same problem with regards to what day to draft from my account, although I've told them every month what day to draft.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate the opportunity to respond.

We contacted your service contract administrator, American Auto Shield, to get information on the repair claim you have referenced. They stated that your repair facility called in with several components needing replacement on August 1, 2019. The items needing replacement, the fuel pressure sensor, ABS light, torn axle boot, and loose stabilizer link, are not listed in your powertrain service contract terms as covered components. The covered components are addressed in the initial sales call and you are mailed and emailed a copy of your service contract and given 30 days to review your contract terms. You may call for any reason within that 30 days if you have any questions or concerns regarding your service contract and receive a full refund of your initial payment. Your contract administrator cannot pay for repairs that are not listed as covered in your contract.

However, worth noting, American Auto Shield has paid over 14 million dollars in covered repair claims in the last 12 months alone.

Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested. You will be refunded for the payments you have made into the contract as a gesture of goodwill.

If there were negative stars as an option they’d get that. I filled out the online form and literally 4 minutes later my phone was ringing. I couldn’t answer but instead of leaving voicemail they kept calling back till I answered. I told the guy I was getting ready to leave & couldn’t talk he said he only had 3 quick questions. I answered those then he said he would transfer me to some “specialist” who turned out to be a nightmare guy named Willam. I put him on speakerphone so I could continue getting ready to leave. This guy was so overbearing it was beyond ridiculous. All I wanted was information and he was pressuring me to give my credit card info for the $27.99 a month. I kept saying I needed to think about it and he was like “we get 33,000 phone calls a day and if you want to risk something happening to your vehicle that’s on you. It’s an older vehicle with 238,000 km and something is going to happen and if you want to take that chance....” and on and on. I’m like dude I’m asking for 2-3 hours to think about it. And he wouldn’t let up or shut up. It was so ignorant and rude, unbelievable. I finally got off the phone and I was so angry. I blasted them on *** and email and no one has had the courtesy to reply. I have called three times for three different fixes, one being the AC and not once has any of the repairs been covered. I even had my mechanic call on my behalf 2-3 times, but still not covered. I have paid out $2603, with no repairs covered. When I have called, I've been hung up on. When I have talked to someone, I have been told that I would receive a call back about my repairs that have not been fixed, and no one has called. The repairs include: a manifold, a horn, a radiator, the AC, and an intake manifold. I've paid for those repairs out of my pocket, in the amount of approximately $1359.00

CarShield Response • Aug 07, 2019

We contacted your service contract administrator, ***, on your behalf to obtain information on the repair claims you have referenced.

Claim submitted on 9/26/2018 was for airbag light on dash and impact damage to A/C. Repair facility stated that you had hit a deer. Impact damage from an accident is not covered under your service contract terms. This would be something to turn into your vehicle insurance.

On July 9, 2019 a claim was called in for a failed intake manifold runner control, (IMRC) and a failed blower motor. These components are not listed as covered in your powertrain service contract terms and were denied as parts not listed as covered.

Your service contract is cancelled as you requested. You are in the process of receiving your refund in the amount of 1536.72. Your refund will be mailed to your *** address. You should receive your refund in approximately 10 business days.

I am rejecting this response because the business response to Revdex.com: "The failed component you referenced in your initial complaint was not listed as a covered component in your contract terms. Your service contract has been cancelled as you requested and your prorated refund you were due, per your contract terms, was mailed on August 9, 2019. You have received the prorated refund you are due. " is different than what they tried to tell me by phone was the reason for the prorated refund, but neither of these responses is accurate. This business has failed to cover ANY of the repairs submitted to them despite the fact that they told me all of my repairs would be covered for 60 months/ 100,000 miles. When I spoke with them by phone they tried to tell me the reason for a prorated refund was the mileage on my vehicle but you can see from the repair documents that I was still within the 60 months and 100,000 miles. I made 19 monthly installments and they told me when I signed up that I was totally covered. On a couple of those invoices from the mechanic it says the blower went out and the booklet the a/c blower is included in covered repairs but they refused to cover it. My mechanic called for every repair but they refused to cover anything. I am still owed $1,070.

I am rejecting this response because the information in their response is in accurate. I DID NOT hit a deer. My DAUGHTER hit a deer and my insurance was going to cover the body work. I'd contacted Carshield because I was having an issue with my horn and they told me they don't cover horns, read my manual and hung up on me. Regarding the covered components, not only was it not read to me by phone but it was not received by email or postal mail either. They have only referenced 2 invoices but they failed to cover ANY of the invoices from my mechanic and I have supplied those invoices as proof. I also sent the pay link paper with the contract terms that states 60 months or 100,000 miles whichever comes first. I would like the refund in full.

Sincerely

Your 2007 Dodge Caliber qualified for a Powertrain Gold Service Contract. We mailed you a copy of your service contract on 11/14/2018 and on 12/7/2017. We've spoken to you several times since those dates and you have never requested another copy of your service contact be sent out.

On July 9, 2019 a repair claim was submitted to your claims administrator for the intake manifold runner control and a failed blower motor. These components are not listed in the contract terms as covered components and repairs were denied per contract terms.

You have requested cancellation of your service contract on July 24, 2019. Your service contract was cancelled as you requested and you were issued the prorated refund you were due of $1536.72 on August 9, 2019.

Respectfully,

Customer Relations

I don't know anything about a Gold Service Contract. I have never gotten anything in the mail, I had gotten this on my phone via email. Also, you have never spoke with my "several times". I never requested anything because the contract they sent me via email was the one you guys said for me to refer to. All the contract terms say are 60 months and 100,000 miles. They don't say anything about a powertrain nothing. I keep having to pay out of pocket. I never hit a deer, that was my daughter. Every time I spoke with someone from your company, I have been told I have full coverage. No one goes over what is actually covered with me. You guys say someone went over it but that is a lie.

Well, if your reading this you are probably a customer of many that have been cheated by this company. Or you are really smart and are doing your home work prior to purchase. I wish I would have checked them out prior to purchasing their so called service plan. All the reviews I have read from customer reviews are true. Except for the poor guy that was on a fixed income and thought they seemed nice when he purchased their service, but has not had to use their service yet. I really hope he never breaks down. So very sad how many people have been taken advantage of by this company.

Company does not cover anything in a vehicle even though company ads and as well reps provide the info that they do, I had according to them the best package in the vehicle just to then turnaround and say that my warranty does not cover the part for whatever make believe excuse they can provide you, I had not only take my car myself (Which they state that they cover also***) I had to as well pay the full bill and as well pay their stupid deductible mind you that the only reason they cover one part out of the whole issues was because the mechanic himself fought with them for around 2:30hrs!!!!!, is been already 2 weeks and yet I still have not seen my part of the suppose reimbursement. The whole company is a scam, go look at the reviews and try to see if they have if ever cover any of the cars that they have happily taken every month a pmt. read the reviews and call them immediately to have 4 diff agents tell me to don’t worry and that my insurance will cover it. I’m so fed up with companies like this all they want is your money but don’t want to earn it. So for me this whole set up is a scam, when you pay for something and don’t obtain those services your paying for. This is as a telemarketer calling you and taking your money and never hearing from them again, stay away from this company they are using your money to pay all the Hollywood actors they got lying in their adds your better off keeping that money saved whenever your car really needs it.

The refund would be nice but no, they did took care at least one of the many parts of that were wrong with the car, I would love to have my reimbursement of the money they owe me from the part. This cat and mouse game is been going on for 2 weeks and my rent is due tomorrow. Sorry once more for this, but if I’m paying for something I’m expecting to get what I’m paying for, would love as well for this company to be *** down if they are just going to collect money and not provide the services they claim to provide

We are not able to locate a service contract for you with the information you have provided. Nothing under your name, phone number or email address.

Please look at your service contract and provide us with the contract number, or the VIN number of your vehicle so we can locate your contract. The declaration page of your service contract should show who your "issuing dealer" is (will say CarShield if you purchased a service contract from us) and your contract number is listed at the top of the page.

We will be happy to look into this matter for you once you provide the requested information.

I paid $106 for 6 months. When I needed reimbursement for repairs that came up, they gave me such a run around and many reasons why they could or couldn't pay for things - none of this was listed in their "contract" but is what they called "common in the business." Whose business? The business of sneaky, snaky companies. NOT worth the money or the many, many phone calls (on which everyone you talk to tells you something different--the "check was in the mail" 4 different times!). I ended up receiving less than half of what the contract clearly said should be my reimbursement amount. After trying many times to get what I was due, I gave up and cancelled. You are better off saving your money each month into an account rather than paying for a "warranty" program that won't benefit you in the end.

Your claims administrator reimbursed you for parts and labor for your AC condenser repair in the amount of $349.61. You have a 100.00 deductible, so that was deducted from the reimbursement check they sent you of $249.61.

I signed up for carshield. The second month I decided that I want to cancel it. The lady on the phone would not cancel the policy without trying to convince me why I should keep it. I keep asking her to just cancel the policy. she refused to do so. She continued to speak. I asked for a supervisor she told me the supervisor was going to do the same thing, meaning to convince me not to cancel. Very unprofessional and hostile.
