RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: First off, they have not replied directly to... the complaint I made through BBB but have mailed me a paper letter which I have only now just received in the mail on 115 and my purchase was made on 1115. How convenient that now they have such specific information available to them that has only now come out of the vaults. This company has the runaround game absolutely perfected. I cannot believe that they will not honor this promotional offer even though I have met all of the requirements. I only regret that I did not take screen shots of my account on 1115 when I enrolled in the offer. At that time however I had no idea that I was in for such a protracted battle over what seemed like a straightforward promotional offer. So at this point I guess it is just my word against theirs. NEVER again AMEX. I will be taking my business elsewhere ASAP. This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced with a financial institution. No accessibility whatsoever. You are only able to talk to automatons with no empowerment to do anything for your situation. Only after escalating this through the BBB do they then come out with specific information that had I been told this over a month ago I could have done something about. Now it is too late, the promotion is long over and I am left with my word against theirs and yet another iron door slammed shut in my face. This just proves that it doesn't matter how long you have been a good member of American Express, they still have not bothered to look into my excellent history as a cardmember for over yearsI think their customer service is terrible and as I said before, I will NOT recommend anyone I know to get this card

I received the letter, and it is absurdIt is incredible American Express have zero responsibility.How hard is for them to honor their own Lowest Price GuaranteeAs I informed, all other websites offer lower price for the same hotel/room/dates.*** The issue is not resolved and the company made no effort to fix the situation, they simply reworded the response sent by customer service ***American Express did not honor the lowest price, and did not cancel the reservationThey did not honor the guarantee they advertise, and they did not cancel the reservation as I requestedThey did nothing.This hotel is advertised as being eligible for Lowest Price Guarantee.That said, I've already filed a complaint against American Express with Federal Trade Commission, Department of Consumer Affairs and Truth In Advertising.It's a generalized scamLots of guarantees, but nothing is guaranteedAmerican Express is another company participating in this fraudulent scheme.If I had kept the reservation with American Express Travel, I'd be in paying over $more, for no reason, just because I'd had been fooled in this scam

While I appreciate the spirit of the letter
(attached) and believe they meant well, the dates listed in the letter are incorrect. One statement in particular says "On September **, we submitted a request to the credit reporting agencies to delete the duplicate accounts created on July *, from your credit report." The problem is, all of the duplicate accounts were created in May so if the credit reporting agencies follow instructions in the letter from American Express, there will be no accounts to delete from my record
I'd like an updated/revised letter to go to *** *** *** and *** from American Express with correct dates and would like to receive a copy of each of the three letters as a courtesy

The letter I received
stated that American Express agent I talked to on September * ,said that he would call and cancel my trip on my behalf with the merchant ,and I been asking for the proof letter or voice record and the agent name which I have not received from Amex.On top of that they said that there no record of Amexagent canceled my trip.I have been save these money many years for our 25th Anniversary and my wife 50th birthday and have used credit card so if something happen that we can rely on get our money back what happen to consumer protection on credit card I paid for some thing that I did not useIt happened back few years I charged for Air line to go back home and something came up I could not go and I called Amexand agent contacted the air line and get most our money back.Why is different now.So that day I talked to the Amexagent on September *,why changed the procedure that he did not said that he would cancel my trip for us...And that phone number they gave to us to contact is somebody over sea either in India or Philipine and he told us is global service but I want to talk to somebody in US and is not convenience for consumers and I don't know if they know at all about consumer right or our law in US..If they can help us than I need a letters voice record and name of the agent I talked to so I can find away to get my money back even those might be to late because of their out of country services and been jerk around I hope I can find lawyer who will go after Amex

years, I think I deserve better treatment than thisThey obviously have NOT looked into the full history of my account with them, only the past year (when we were trying to help out my son, a decorated Marine veteran who was experiencing some difficulty)They are going totally by the book without thoroughly investigating the problem, or looking into my good history with themThey give me NO credit for all the years beforeAnd, they also do not seem to find any problem with their customer serviceRegarding that, I was OBVIOUSLY speaking to people from India or some other similar countryThe second man I spoke to, as I have stated previously, scolded me as if I had did something terribly wrongANDI am not one who usually complains to anyone or any business regarding any matterFor me to report this to the Revdex.com, it had to be beyond "the usual"As soon as I can do it, I am going to pay off the total of my American Express card, and I will then cut it upAnd, as a recently retired teacher with hundreds of connections, I will advise anyone else I know NOT to get this card
