I disagree with American Express with regards to their assessment that the customer service representative handled th situation with respect and professionalismHowever, as these are subjective assessments, I understand that we may differ in our findingsMoving forward, if the company feels that this is the standard level of service that a customer may expect, then I would be happy to move the remainder of my accounts to a different company with better standards

I have not received the letter from AmExThe last contact I received was in October

not acknowledging that the error is on their part with processing of some sortWhere I have signed up through the *** website which always has the promotion running for American Express, they are not providing me with the promotion I have rightfully earned, and are continuing to charge me with a high APRThey need to provide me with my promotion, and the 0% intro APR for month that I have signed up for*** they always have the promo for all of the cards listed.

There was only one
transaction in questionThe other was mistakenly included in the disputeIt was only $I'm guessing that the transaction that was lumped in with this probably was a person who I had sent money before and due to this mistakenly being included American Express assumed that both transactions were authorizedThis was not the caseThere was only one transaction in question and that was for $which was sent to someone that I have never dealt with and have no clue who they areI'm guessing the money would have to come out of American expresses pocket and since they are also the ones determining whether this transaction should be refunded - obviously they are not going to see things in my favorIt would be as though you are suing your name for $and you prepare your statements and get to court and guess what - your neighbor is also the civil court judge presiding over your suitHow well do you believe your chances are then? ZeroThat's how well they areAnd American Express is in a similar situation as the judge/neighborIt's not rightAnd I am looking into what other options I have at this pointGoing to call the Consumer Financial Bureau of Protections and see what is my next course of action in having my money returnedThe letter Amex sent me was vague and dismissive - provided me with no information

The response I received via letter from
American Express dated May **, regarding my complaint was discourteous, patronizing, without correct facts and a page and a half of falsehoods.In their letter American Express indicated that my application was processed via *** and was approved the same dayHowever, one reason I was informed by the multiple and changing reasons of American Express representatives was that I was denied the Balance Transfer offer of 0.00% and the promotional Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for the first fifteen (15) months from the Credit Card was because I didn’t apply for the application on *** and that I applied through a third-party and that was the reason it was deniedHowever, in their recent letter, I am informed that I did indeed apply via ***Once again, contradictive answers.In addition, the letter indicated that they take customer service seriously, however, in my recent complaint you will notice that on multiple occasions I was informed that I would get a response promptly but it took over two (2) months to get this issue started; and it’s still not resolvedMost important, I was informed by at least two (2) managers that they would get back with me in a week; however, it took over two (2) weeks for a simply return callI do understand I am not the only customer for American Express; but I would hope every customer does not get treated with unfair and unequal Treatment as I have and openly lied to from American Express via their letter to me of May **, 2017.Also the letter indicated that they listened to all recordings regarding this issueAt one point, as stated in my complaint, I asked a manager to just speak to the other manager about what we spoke about; because she had indicated that the manager was in the same office as sheHowever, that did not happen; it took two (2) weeks for me to receive a response after I was informed she would contact me back in a few daysAll she would have to do to confirm my recent conversation would be to talk with the other managerI have dealt with illegal practices at every stage of my consumer experience regarding this issue, from marketing and enrollment from this Credit Card Service; especially as a new customerI am very disturbed by these deceptive marketing practices. I have not asked for anything that was not promised to me during this promotion; however, I have been forwarded a letter that indicates that American Express does not take responsibility for purposely misleading consumers during this promotion to get consumers to apply for their Credit Card I am simply asking to be giving what was promised by the promotion in order to obtain my businessIf this is how I will continue to be treated now that they have my business, I am a very disappointed customer
