We received a bill with a total balance of
$due October *,American Express in their response states a payment was posted on Oct *, for $It is my understanding that the account balance at that time should be zeroThe account was closed prior to this time so no further charges we addedI do not understand why we confined to receive a bill in November and December for late fees and finance charges after the balance was played in fullWe do not feel we owe the remaining feesIf these charges were necessary they should have been part of the amount owed in OctoberWe consciously did not pay the bills received in November and December as we were certain we had paid the balance in fullAmerican Express was kind enough to remove the fee for December but we had already paid the $balance for the previous monthsWe would like a refund check for $

I receive letter from american express
,which is didn't have response on my complain I was complaining that american express put hold on my account without clear reason I want to mention couple things First I understand that american express want to update information , look at my tax return and I am find with that I even send authorization to access to my tax return form *** next day (october * )after they request it But right after I send it they decide they don't need it any more and ask me to pay off credit card in full Fact that first they ask for accesses to tax return and after decide that they don't need it any more clearly saying how unprofessional was they are decisions I think American Express have to explain Why they put hold on my account and ask me to pay off credit card in full while remaining it on hold Annual fee for that credit card is $I didn't do anything wrong and in my opinion american express didn't provide service after they put my account on hold Since I didn't receive service why I have to pay $?

I have been an american express card holder since the customer service has been very horrible rude and abusive language and harrassment from both customer service phoenix call center for call me for no reason and telling me that everything is going to okay when it not I went though different
supervisiors and from retention department and three from membership rewards as of january ** I have cancelled my account for good at american express and also laughing at me for no reason at you cant buy customer service there are rules and regulations for people not to call back customer service at all

Hi, A copy of the letter received is attached. Unfortunately, the letter does not address the issue in the complaintIt once again repeats that there was "unusual usage" but does not explain nor give any way to rectify. Thank you,
