Review: I won a towel from Cautivadora on 6/**/13 and have contacted them quite a few times on their facebook page about it with no response and still have not received my winning.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my winnings.

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered a product on July [redacted]. I received an email on august [redacted] that the product was shipping. I have yet to receive it. I called and left a couple of voicemails as well as sent several emails asking for a status. I have never heard back from them.Desired Settlement: Either get my order here by august [redacted] or I want a refund.

Review: Purchased a hammock through social living and apparently the contract between social living and Cautivadora did not materialize after the offer extended on-line. Social living has refunded the money paid. Cautivadora charged for the shipping but never shipped the product. I received an email on 9/** indicating that the shipping fee would be refunded but have yet to see the refund and cannot get a response to phone messages or emails. The phone system never has a person at the other end (even after waiting for 30 min). It was not a huge fee ($16.50), but it's the principal - they charged for a service that they did not deliver.Desired Settlement: $16.50 credited to my credit card.

Sincerely,

Review: Like many others now, Cautivadora has failed to deliver on their product through a [redacted] deal. I have paid their requested $19.86 in shipping charges by personal check for a travel hammock that was never received for several weeks now. They have already deposited my check & numerous attempts to contact this company by phone/voicemail (they never answer the phone) & email have all failed. They only replied once by email to get my check. After that they disappeared. This company seems to scam many customers (search the company) & should be avoided due to their lack of any service & failure to deliver their product. I will only get a refund from [redacted] but doubt I can get a refund on shipping charges for a product never received.Desired Settlement: I want a complete refund of my $19.86 in shipping charges as I don't trust this company to even have a decent product anymore, or at least a product I can trust & feel good about using.

Review: I ordered a hammock in July. I received an email August * that it had shipped but it did not include a tracking number. I called the company. No response. I emailed. No response. After several days I finally got a response that they were changing shipping companies from ups to FedEx and their system could t generate tracking numbers. I was advises to call FedEx and get it myself. Knowing that wouldn't work I tried anyway. Of course they have no idea and can it provide me a Tracking number and using my name they show no products out for delivery. I have emailed Cautivadora three times since then and it's now been 13 days since my product was allegedly shipped and I still don't have a product or a response. I really don't want a refund I just want my hammock.Desired Settlement: I just want my hammock delivered.

They sent me one email several weeks ago that they were looking into my issue and have never responded to me since then. I have called, left messages, sent 11 emails, and nothing.

What happens next? They have stolen my money. And now that I look online, they have done this to many more people. How can you allow them to be in business? Since they have stolen from me, do I contact the NY police?

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered a travel hammock from Cautivadora through a [redacted] deal in July 2013. After being charged for shipping and also receiving an email that my order was processed, I never received the product. After several unanswered emails to Cautivadora I contacted [redacted]. In September 2013 [redacted] cancelled the deal with Cautivadora due to Cautivadora's failure to send the product to all costumers. Shortly after the deal was cancelled and my money was refunded, I received an email from Cautivadora acknowledging that the deal was cancelled. They stated that I could opt to have my shipping charge of $16.00 refunded. I elected to have my money refunded. As of November **, 2013, I have not yet received my refund.Desired Settlement: I would like the $16.00 refunded that they charged me for shipping of a product that was never sent to me.

Review: I ordered a hammock from Cautivadora.com via a [redacted] voucher on July *, 2013. I have called repeatedly and only been able to talk to ONE person at Cautivadora, and he wasn't even part of their customer service department; he was a listed under the sales menu of their phone system. Their customer service option sent me directly to their voicemail—no possibility for even speaking with a live person—and then an automated message informed me their voice mailbox was full. Highly frustrating. The salesperson whom I spoke with was rude and unhelpful and told me "it's normal for products to take longer than one month to process and ship," which I think to be absurd in and of itself. Still, I waited the precursory month and then tried calling back, this time using a different 800 phone number I'd found. To my surprise, I was connected with a live, friendly Cautivadora rep who assured me that her boss would handle the situation and call me right back. I've since called that number back four times with the same results: a promise that a boss would look into it and call me right back; I have yet to actually be called back by anyone from Cautivadora. The company's social media sites are buzzing with unhappy customers who've been scammed out of their money and never received products they paid for. I cannot see how this sham of a company is even still in business at all.Desired Settlement: Ideally, I'd like the hammock I ordered almost two months ago! If that is not possible, I'd like a full refund of the purchase and shipping price—and NOT in the form of a merchandise credit! I will absolutely never shop with this company again. I would also like to see Revdex.com's rating of this company be reduced from the current A- to an F. Also nice would be to receive a formal apology—not just to me, but everyone who was ripped off—on Cautivadora's social media pages, including [redacted] and [redacted].

Business

Response:

Dear Buyer, We apologize for the inconvenience, but please be

advised that [redacted] never paid us for the travel hammock deal which is

in breach of our agreement with them. It is due to this that the hammocks

were not shipped. Cautivadora stands behind their deals and tried in

earnest to fulfill the orders. Cautivadora tried, in good faith, to

resolve the issue with [redacted] but [redacted] has cancelled the

deal. Cautivadora will be refunding your shipping fee.

With sincerest apologies, Cautivadora, Inc.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter will be considered resolved upon return of the $16.75 shipping fee. I have received the refund from [redacted] for the hammock voucher, but not from Cautivadora for the shipping amount. Additionally, I am still dissatisfied with the way Cautivadora has handled the situation. I do not care which company is "at fault" for the deal falling through or who cancelled it, but the severe lack of customer service will prevent me from ever shopping with this company again. Mistakes happen; it's how those mistakes are handled that's important, and Cautivadora handled this mistake so poorly it has not only lost them a sale but also gained them a staunch, vocal critic for life. Even though this issue will be considered resolved upon return of my shipping money, I still want this business's rating to be a D, at best. Service like this is not to be tolerated.

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered a Mosaic bird feeder from [redacted] on April **, 2013 for $25. I have never received the product. I received a call back in July and they said they were having shipping issues and I should receive the product in the first or second week in August. I still never received it. I have called and left several messages and sent several emails, but no one ever calls me back or responds to my emails. Since then, [redacted] has refunded my money, but I want to get my money back from Cautivadora for the shipping cost since it was never shipped. The shipping cost was $13.45. I don't believe I should pay for something that I never received. I can't even tell you how many times I called Cautivadora and I got nowhere, very frustrating.Desired Settlement: I only want a refund for the shipping cost which is $13.45. Unfortunately the card that I paid for the shipping cost for was stolen so if they try and refund it to that card it will not go through.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a Hammock with Cautivadora from a [redacted] deal. After months of waiting for my order that I had to pay separate shipping for I never received the hammock, [redacted] refunded me the purchase and canceled the order and informed me that I would have to contact Cautivadora for the refund on shipping since I paid them directly. Cautivadora has yet to refund me the shipping I paid for. Shortly I got a email from Cautivadora saying that their relationship with [redacted] went bad and they were unable to fulfill orders from the [redacted] deal. I have called the company and emailed them regarding getting a refund and no one has contacted me from Cautivadora. This has been going on since July.Desired Settlement: I want my money back

Review: On July [redacted], I received an offer via Living Social to purchase an item from Cautivadora. I purchased a discounted gift certificate via Living Social, and proceeded to Cautivadora to order 1 item # 44632, a Foldable Hammock. I received, via email, an order confirmation and order number [redacted]. On July [redacted], I received another e-mail, stating that my order was being processed. When I hadn't heard anything by the [redacted], I emailed to inquire as to the status of the order. I never received a response to the email. I called the listed customer service number on (to the best of my recollection) the [redacted], and was told that "nothing ever ships until after 4-6 weeks." On August [redacted], I received an email, stating that my order shipped via UPS Ground, however, the email's space for tracking number was left blank. On August [redacted], not having received the item, I emailed requesting the tracking number. I recieved a response stating that my order had shipped via FedEx, that they were converting to a new shipping system, that they should be finished by the weekend and could give tracking numbers after that, and to check my spam folder for anything FedEx may have sent out. I did check my spam folder, there was nothing from FedEx. I tried to call the customer service number on Monday and Tuesday, August [redacted] and [redacted], but got a message saying the phone system was being upgraded and was unavailable. On August [redacted], I again emailed, requesting the tracking number. I received a form email yesterday (August [redacted]) stating: Dear Living Social Customers, Please be advised that we are using Federal Express to ship your orders. You will be receiving an e-mail confirmation that comes direct from Federal Express with your tracking number, in addition to an e-mail that comes from Cautivadora noting that your order shipped. The Cautivadora e-mail may not include the tracking information. If for some reason, you do not receive the Federal Express e-mail please contact customer service, at the Living Social Hotline at Cautivadora ###-###-#### and we will be able to provide you with this information. I called the provided number several times last night, and always got the response, "all circuits are busy." This morning, I got, "this number has been disabled." I attempted to call the main customer service number again, today, and waited on hold to be connected to a customer service representative. After an hour, their system hung up on me. I am unaware of any shipping option via FedEx which takes more than 2 days, much less 2 weeks, and multiple attempts to contact Cautivadora, and two unhelpful responses from the company, have not resolved the issue.Desired Settlement: I would like my order delivered, or a full refund for the item plus shipping. Listed price was $129.99 for the hammock, I paid $59.00 to Living Social for the discounted gift certificate, plus $13.03 to the company for shipping.

Review: A [redacted] deal for 2 travel hammocks was placed with Cautivadora. At that time I paid a Living social fee and then once you redeemed your coupon with Cautivadora they asked for you to pay the shipping amount. So on 7/*/13 I paid in two transactions (one for each hammock) $17.68 (total of $35.36) from my debit card. Then I got word form [redacted] that the sale was not going to happen, so they refunded the money I paid to [redacted]. Something about shipping issues. Later I was contacted by Cautivadora by email and let known that I could purchase the hammocks directly from them. So being that I was still interested I wrote back to the company and stated that I was still interested, but had already paid shipping cost. Waiting for a response on how to handle the transaction, weeks went by. I finally recieved another email from them staiting that all I had to do was to finish out the order and put the code word in to replace the shipping. So I did this and paying the balance of the cost $ 49.99 each ($99.98 total). The email sent to me stated that after I did this process that I would have them in time for Christmas and I would have a tracking number right away. This took place on 11/**/13.

As of 11/**/13 I still had no tracking number or products. I tried calling them and line says that its been disconnected. I have emailed several times, with NO responce other than an autimated responce telling me to send in the final payment and my items will be shipped.

I have emailed to let them know that if I didn't not hear from them within 24 hours with a shipping numbers and my products with in 7 business days, I would contact the Revdex.com. Now all I want is my money back.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a 100% refund. $99.98 (products) + $35.36 (shipping)

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Cautivadora regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I was contacted by email on December [redacted] stating that my order had been shipped. This is an automated email that contains NO shipping or tracking numbers. The email does state that if I have any questions to call the ###-###-#### number, which is still disconnected when you try to call.

It is December [redacted] and I still have not recieved my order nor am I able to get in touch (by email or phone) with anyone at the company.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a travel hammock deal through [redacted]. I went onto cautivadora.com to redeem my coupon. I paid for shipping cost. I did not receive my hammock. [redacted] refunded me for the hammock. I have contacted Cautivadora asking them to refund my shipping cost. They haven't done so to date. For a full story on this deal gone south, go to [redacted] or check out yelp reviews: [redacted]. It seems a lot of consumers are not getting their money back. I'm starting to think this company is a scam. Please look into this before more people lose their money. Thank you very much.

I called their customer service number today and it said it was disabled.Desired Settlement: I just want my shipping cost refunded.

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered an item from Cautivadora on July [redacted]. They state it take 3-4 weeks for delivery but I have not received the item yet. I have tried to phone, online chat and email them each more than once without a response. My online request for information was on July [redacted], Aug [redacted] and today Aug [redacted]. Customer service does not answer when I call during the open hour time.Desired Settlement: I would like the item delivered asap or my full refund of the order as well as the Living Social amount I spent. Grand total of $75

Response:

Review: Last summer, Cautivadora offered a Living Social deal on a folding hammock. This deal fell through, leaving those of us who had purchased the hammock empty-handed. I, at least, was able to recover the cost of the hammock from Living Social, but was charged shipping by Cautivadora which was never returned. Now, I am being flooded with multiple e-mails from Cautivadora offering the hammock at the same price as the Living Social deal. I have responded twice to these e-mails to their customer service address, requesting that I be removed from their e-mail listing, but am still receiving the emails.

Using the customer list gleaned from the Living Social deal in order to create a mailing list to sell the same product strikes me as yet another very unethical way to do business.Desired Settlement: I have come to accept that I will never see the charged shipping fees again, but the repeated offers of, "wait, we know we already cheated you, but, trust us, we'll send it" are downright offensive, and I would like them to stop.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a [redacted] deal in July 2013 for a travel hammock, I redeemed the deal and paid the shipping costs. I received an email stating that my order had shipped but never received the hammock. I tried calling the company several times, but they do not have live customer service reps, you can only leave a voicemail which I did multiple times. I also used the email feature on the website to request a tracking number or update on the shipment. Almost a month later, I received a generic email that said that [redacted] did not honor its contract and they were not shipping the hammock but, if I still wanted it or wanted a refund on my shipping paid, to contact them at a specific special email address. I sent an email to that email address and it bounced back as undeliverable as a non-existent email. I tried calling and using the email on the website again to get a refund on my shipping and received no response. Several weeks later, I received another email stating that [redacted] and cautivadora had merged and they were honoring all of the [redacted] deals and that my hammock would be shipped. I never received the email and once again kept contacting them. Several weeks later I received another email stating that the hammocks were not shipped but that we could purchase the hammock for the same price as the [redacted] deal for $49.99 and if we had already paid shipping to enter a special code so we wouldn't have to pay it again. I went online and purchased the hammock. However, at checkout, there was no option to pay online, rather there was a mailing address to send a check to. I promptly mailed my check to that address on 9/**/13. To this date nothing has been done, my hammock has not been shipped and I cannot get ahold of them to find out if they received my check or not, their emails bounce back undeliverable to all emails listed on their website, I have had no response to emails sent using the website email option and their phone number says they are closed for columbus day almost a week after columbus day.Desired Settlement: I would like my shipping costs refunded, I would like assurances that they will not cash the check I sent them or I would like them to honor my purchase and ship the hammock overnight to me.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Cautivadora regarding complaint ID [redacted]. They cashed my check and never sent the product as well. As of now, they owe me about $70.00.

Sincerely,

Review: I placed an order and made payment for said product on July [redacted], 2013. The item has not been received or shipped per online status. I've contacted the business twice now regarding this order. The first response said they couldn't give an estimate of when the product would ship. The second inquiry resulted in no response at all.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back.

Review: On May **, I purchased a Living Social coupon for a grill cover. In order to redeem the order, I placed the final order with Cautivadora for the item, gave them the Living Social coupon code, and then they charged me for the shipping cost of the item. After six weeks, I had still not received the item, so I began to attempt to contact Cautivadora for an update. The first couple of times I called, I was forwarded to a voicemail by the automated service, so I left a couple of messages with my contact information. When I didn't receive a response, I emailed them asking why when I clicked on the UPS tracking number did it just say, "Billing Information Received" on the UPS website. To me that means that they processed the order, but it's still sitting in a warehouse somewhere because UPS never scanned it for pick-up. They responded to that email that UPS doesn't scan for pick-ups, which has never been the case for as many times as I have used UPS. I gave it one more week and still didn't receive the item, so I emailed them five more times. Finally, I just called Living Social and got a credit back for my order, but they told me that in order to get the shipping money back, I'd need to call Cautivadora. I called everyday for a week during business hours and there was never an answer, but didn't bother leaving a message. However, I wrote back again five times stating I wanted the item or a refund and on the fifth email, I stated I would be contacting Revdex.com for a solution. Again, never got a response.Desired Settlement: I know it's not all that much money, but I either want to product that I ordered or I want a refund for the $15.93 that I spent on shipping. It enrages me that this company repeatedly ignored my attempts to contact them and they don't even bother putting someone at a chair to answer phonecalls during business hours. This is literally the worst customer service I have ever seen from a company in my life and I've been to a McDonalds in the bad part of Washington DC.

Sincerely,

Review: On July [redacted], I redeemed two [redacted] Coupons with Cautivadora for two of their products - two travel hammocks. I purchased the coupon from [redacted], then went to the Cautivadora website as directed and redeemed the coupon for the hammocks. In addition, I paid $12.57 per item for shipping. On August [redacted], I received two separate emails advising these were sent to me via UPS. On August [redacted], after not receiving a tracking number, I contacted Cautivadora, only to be advised by [redacted], that they switched to Fed Ex and the tracking numbers were not loaded in their system yet. But was advised they should be loaded by August [redacted] and she would email me with those numbers. That email was never sent (you can see her emails below). Additionally – I sent many inquiries to your website – 7/**, 8/*, 8/**, and 8/** – with no success. I contacted [redacted] on Aug. [redacted] to register a complaint, and they responded with a promise from [redacted] at Cautivadora would contact me with the information, which to this date, still has not come – I receive an email from Cautivadoa saying the [redacted] did not live up to their end of the bargain. It seems to me, that I purchased TWO hammocks – paid shipping on both of them through Cautivadora AND was advised they were both shipped out on August [redacted]. It’s been more than 28 Business days since these items were allegedly shipped to me. At this point, I don’t feel I should have to pay you $49.99 for hammocks I have already purchased and paid the shipping on. I should have had these a long time ago and not even have a reason to receive this email in the first place. So, I would appreciate: 1 – the courtesy of a return email, since I have rarely gotten that courtesy 2 – the two hammocks I ordered at no additional cost 3 – the tracking number for said hammocks – and I don’t expect to wait 3-6 weeks for them. If I do not receive this, I will be calling the Revdex.com to report your business.Desired Settlement: At this point, from Cautivadora - I would like: 1 – the courtesy of a return email, since I have rarely gotten that courtesy 2 – the two hammocks I ordered at no additional cost 3 – the tracking number for said hammocks – and I don’t expect to wait 3-6 weeks for them.

Review: Cautivadora offered an on-line deal through [redacted] for a Traveling Hammock. I placed my order on 7-*-2013 and was charged $59 through [redacted] and $17.67 through Cautivadora for shipping. Finally on 8-*-2013 I received an email from Cautivadora indicating that my order shipped out. Since then, I have submitted 3 email inquiries through their website requesting the tracking number. I have also left a voice mail on their customer service voice mail. I attempted to contact them again today and was on hold for 32 minutes before I finally gave up. I have also contact [redacted] about this issue. They have agreed to give me "Deal Bucks" for $59 that I can use toward a different [redacted] Deal but will not refund my actual money or the shipping costs.Desired Settlement: Ultimately I would like the product I ordered but would agree to a refund of $59 from [redacted] and $17.67 from Cautivadora.

However Cautivadora has not yet refunded my shipping costs - all my emails have gone unanswered.
