At this time, I have not been contacted by Cautivadora regarding complaint ID [redacted].
Sincerely,
Review: Cuativadora offered a discounted travel hammock through [redacted] website. I purchased the item on July *, 2013 and was given the link directly to Cautivadora to redeem the hammock. Each time I tried to finalize the purchase through Cautivadora I received an error message through their website. I called the customer service number but was put to a voice mail. I immediately sent an email inquiry to their sales department on July *, 2013 informing them that I couldn't complete the transaction then followed up with a 2nd email that same day. I also contacted [redacted] to let them know the link they provided was not working properly. [redacted] responded and on July *, 2013 I received an email notification from [redacted] that they were sorry for the difficulties and were going to refund the purchase amount of $59, which they did and the credit showed in my account on July *, 2013. Also on July *, 2013, Cautivadora sent an email saying they received my order, [redacted], and it is in processing. On July *, 2013 I get a reply email from the initial one I sent on July *, 2013 from [redacted], telling me the hammock is available for $59, I should give them my phone number, they will call me to finish the purchase. I replied back telling them I already received and email confirmation that the order was in process. On July *, 2013 my bank account was debited $12.57 for the shipping charges. On August *, 2013 I received an email confirming my order [redacted] was shipped. On August *, 2013 I emailed customer service asking for a tracking number as one was never provided. On August *, 2013 I received an email saying Cautivadora just signed a new contract with FedEx and shipping is going to be better and faster, etc. and that I will be provided with a tracking number. On August **, 2013 an email is received saying I will be receiving a tracking number from FedEx. On September **, 2013 I receive an email from Cautivadora explaining that [redacted] was in breach of contract and the order was cancelled so if I want to receive the hammock a special extension just for hammock orders was being provided and to call and finalize the order. I called the phone number provided and was sent to voice mail. At this point, two months later, I did not want the hammock and just wanted the $12.57 debited from my account refunded. I left a final voice message and sent a final email with my information asking for an immediate refund otherwise I would contact the Revdex.com. I did not receive that credit. Researching this company and this product there are many complaints exactly as I am experiencing. I appreciate your help in the matter.Desired Settlement: I just want an immediate refund to my account so I can close out this issue.
Review: On July **, 2013, I ordered a portable, folding hammock from this company through [redacted], as did many, many others (as described on "[redacted]"), but this company failed to deliver my product; even though they immediately withdrew funds from my account for "shipping & handling". They claimed that [redacted] refused to honor their contract, but [redacted] has refunded the money I paid to them. The funds from this order were initiated on July **, 2013 and were deposited into their account in July **, 2013, as confirmed by PayPal. A copy of these facts can be provided on request. I have called Cautivadora numerous times but no one has ever answered. I have also sent several emails, but customer service has stopped responding.Desired Settlement: I want a total & complete refund of $21.48 paid to Cautivadora on July **, 2013, through my PayPal account.

Review: From the list above, there are several I could have chosen from:
1. Customer service failed to provide assistance
2. The failure to respond to phone calls or written requests for assistance or support
3. The non-delivery of products
4. The company failed to honor their policy regarding refund, exchange or credit
On July *, 2013, I took advantage of an offer through [redacted] for a travel hammock through Cautivadora [redacted]. I ordered two. After several weeks, I had reached out a couple of times to the company and called the company and was informed that the hammocks would be sent within 3-6 weeks.
On 9/**,2013, I received the following email;

I then attempted to order the hammocks with this new offer. I received an order confirmation, then received a notification that the items were listed as unpaid (I was not charged anything extra), however, there was no option for me to pay. So I reached out to the company again to place the order. I have attempted to call several times only to hear recordings suggesting the phone is temporarily shut down, and eventually that the phone service had stopped. At one point, one poor gentlemen answered the phone and informed me that he had a new number and was receiving calls all morning from people looking for Cautividora. As I made repeated attempts to re-order the hammocks, I eventually received an email that suggested both of my orders had been canceled on 11/**/13. I immediately reached out to question why and once again received no response to inquiries. I have sent over a dozen emails trying solve the problem and either complete the order or get my money back. This is the email I sent them on 12/*/13. I still have not received a response.
------------------------------
Dear customer service,
I will be reaching out to the Revdex.com regarding my experience with your company as it pertains to this matter. I have been trying for months to rectify the situation regarding the failed promotion through [redacted]. I have attempted several times to complete this order. I have reached out several times through email to explain my challenges and every email I have sent has either been ignored or responded to with information that did not pertain to my request. I have even responded once to this email informing me of the unauthorized cancelation and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I have attempted calling only to find most recently that your customer service number is not in service. All I have tried to do is complete the purchase for the discounted offer you provided after you cancelled the [redacted] deal, which means, you have some of my money from the original order and I was trying to pay you more money to purchase the hammocks and you have made it impossible! And even with this unauthorized cancelation, I still have not received my refund for what I did already pay. And to add insult to injury, I am now receiving emails from you for the same specal.
I am reaching out to the Revdex.com but I still expect this situation to be resolved as soon as possible.
--------------------------------------Desired Settlement: I had wanted to still receive the order for the two hammocks. But considering this may be the worst company I have ever dealt with (which says a lot) and they seem to be incapable of getting simple matters correct, I will accept a refund for the money paid through the original [redacted] deal
Review: I purchased a Living Social Deal for a Travel Hammock, which was subsequently cancelled by the two companies. I was charged for shipping, but never refunded, and never received anything from them. I have attempted to contact them 3 different times to get a refund, but I never receive a response. I continue to get emails from them about this product still being on sale, but they refuse to refund my money.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the fraudulently charged shipping charges.
Review: Like others, my order for the hammock was cancelled by Cautivadora but the shipping cost of $16.48 for that item, that never shipped, has not been reimbursed. After numerous emails and attempts to get through via customer service phone, they have sent me yet another email saying that my order is unpaid.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of $16.48 for shipping charge.

Response:
At this time, I have been contacted directly by Cautivadora regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
the shipping cost for item, which was never received, has not been reimbursed. Initially, they let me know that they were looking into a delay in the delivery of my order. I waited and waited but no reply. After they sent out notifications of their problems with [redacted], I received an email from them saying that they were canceling my order. I then contacted them about reimbursing me for the shipping charges but have since received only emails offering the product at a special rate. I do not wish to order from them again. I would just like my shipping charge reimbursed. I had to set up an account with them at the onset to order at the special [redacted] rate. From this I have since removed my credit card number but my address is still listed if they would like to send a check.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,

Review: I ordered merchandise (travel hammock) from them on line Dec *, 2013. They charged my credit card on Dec *, 2013. When I hadn't received it by Jan **, 2014 I checked the order status on their web site and it showed as shipped via UPS but there was no tracking number. I attempted to contact them through their web site on Dec *, Dec ** 2013 and Jan **, Jan ** and Jan ** and never received a response. I sent them an e-mail directly on Jan **, 2014 but still have not received a response.Desired Settlement: I would like to actually receive the item I ordered and that they charged me for. I want the travel hammock.
Review: I ordered a portable hammock from Cautivadora through [redacted] on 6/**/20*3. On 6/**/20*3 I received email confirmation from Cautivadora that my order was processing and the shipping amount of $2*.47 was taken out of my bank account on the same day. After not hearing anything, I emailed Cautivadora on July ** to inquire as to the status of my order, and was informed that [redacted] orders would take 4-6 weeks to be processed and shipped. I emailed Cautivadora on 7/**/20*3 to see if any progress had been made, but I received essentially the same information as before.
On 8/*/2013, I received an email stating that my order had been shipped, but it did not contain any tracking information. Once again I emailed Cautivadora and was told that shipping information would be sent to me in 1-3 days. On 8/**/2013 I once again contacted Cautivadora, since I had not received said tracking information. To this request I received no direct response. On 8/**/2013 I received what appeared to be a mass email to all Cautivadora/[redacted] customers stating "Dear Living Social Customers,
Please be advised that we are using Federal Express to ship your orders. You will be receiving an e-mail confirmation that comes direct from Federal Express with your tracking number, in addition to an e-mail that comes from Cautivadora noting that your order shipped. The Cautivadora e-mail may not include the tracking information. If for some reason, you do not receive the Federal Express e-mail please contact customer service, at the Living Social Hotline at Cautivadora ###-###-#### and we will be able to provide you with this information.
Thank you for shopping Cautivadora!!
Best Regards,
Customer Service"
When I attempted to call this number, I was notified by an automated service that the number was not in service. I once again emailed Cautivadora on 8/**/2013 and have once again received no response to date. Today I sent an email to [redacted]'s customer service department, which received the majority of my money for this order, but have not heard back from them yet.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund from Cautivadora for the shipping amount that I was charged immediately after ordering the product, even though the product has not yet been received. Since there is no proof of actual shipping by FedEx, I believe this is a scam and would like to be refunded the amount of $21.47 from Cautivadora.
Additionally, since I have not received the product I ordered, I would like to be refunded the amount of $59.99 for the portable hammock. I disbursed this amount to [redacted], but this amount is apparently supposed to be paid to Cautivadora and it is their responsibility to deliver the product.

Review: I ordered an item, 7/*/13, through [redacted] from Cautivadora. I never received the item. The phone contact information for the site was "no longer in service". I did attempt to contact them through another number 3 times and left valid phone contact information for me. I also sent 2 emails requesting information regarding my purchase. I have received no contact from this business. I have not yet received the item.Desired Settlement: Refund of the funds $28.02 for the shipping and taxes paid.

Review: I purchased a deal through [redacted] for a product from this site. The order was placed on 7/*/13 as was confirmed by email. My credit card was charged on 7/*/13 for the shipping by the company Cautivadora. I got a "shipping" notification on 8/1 with no tracking number. The site said to allow 3-4 weeks for processing/shipping. After 6 weeks, on 8/**/13, I emailed the customer service to inquire the whereabouts of my product. I was redirected to a disconnected number and given no more help at further request. When attempting to call their main number several times I have gotten a recording saying they are closed. It has now been over 2 months since my credit card was charged and I have not gotten my product. I have double checked and ensured the address was correct on the billing information, so there was no error on my side. A simple search finds that this company has done the same thing to countless other people. These scam artists need to be held accountable.Desired Settlement: I would like my product delivered and a refund of shipping charges since they have gone way beyond their stated time deadline. And, any applicable charges to be pursued against this terrible merchant.

Review: I ordered a hammock online for $59 Hammock part #[redacted] promotion code #[redacted] they have charged my bank card but have not sent the hammock. They do not answer the phone or return my calls when I leave a message. I have emailed them and I got an email back saying that the hammock was not bought from them and that they are not the ones that charged my card. They are the ones that scent me the offer. when I try to order it they try to charge me $125 the non promotional price.Desired Settlement: Delivery of Order or Refund
Review: I have contacted (by phone and email) your company at least 10 times over the past month and have gotten no email response. When I spoke to 3 employees about canceling my order they told me a cancellation form would be sent or that they can't do order cancellations. I requested to speak to a supervisor and/or manager and was told that there is not one present. I asked to leave messages for supervisors with my contact info two times and have never gotten a call back. I need this order cancelled immediately and shipping charges returned ASAP as item has not shipped. I am also requested that Living Social be called so that I can get a full refund for the cancelled productDesired Settlement: I need my card credited for shipping charges as was not sent and I have asked to cancel numerous times...to no avail. I also need Living Social to be contacted that the order has been cancelled so that I can receive a refund for the product I never received and WANT CANCELLED now.
Review: I purchased a deal through [redacted] which provided me with a voucher to purchase a travel hammock from Cautivadora for $59. I went to Cautivadora's website http[redacted] and purchased the hammock on 7/*, paying an extra $16 for shipping. On 7/**, I received email confirmation that my order is in processing. It stated that the shipping method was UPS Ground but the field for "tracking number" was blank. On 7/**, I reached out for the status of the hammock. I got an auto reply stating that it would take 4-6 weeks for my order to be shipped. On 8/*, I received email confirmation that my order had been shipped, again stating UPS Ground with the "tracking" field blank. On 8/*, I reached out for the status of shipping, requesting my UPS tracking number so I could track on their website. On 8/**, I received a response stating that they use Federal Express and that I would be receiving a confirmation number once it was shipped (although I'd already gotten the confirmation that it had been shipped.) I was given a [redacted] Hotline number and told to call that number to get tracking information. The number given, ###-###-####, was disconnected. At this time I called the number on Cautivadora's website, ###-###-####, which was also disconnected. At this point I reached out to [redacted] and explained the situation, and they credited me back my $59. On 9/** I received an email from Cautivadora stating that [redacted] refused to work with them and because of this, they were unable to ship the hammocks. (Per Living Social, this is completely untrue.) They gave the ###-###-#### for shipping refunds. When I call the 877 now, it is not disconnected, however has been closed for various holidays since the email came out. They are impossible to get ahold of by phone, and all emails come back with stock responses. There's an online chat section on their website but it times out after a while saying no one is available at the moment to assist.Desired Settlement: I am looking for a refund of my shipping money, I am also looking for confirmation that this is or is not a legitimate business as my fear is that people are purchasing from this website every day and probably getting ripped off. Honestly, I'm willing to let go of the sixteen dollars if we can get them shut down if they are not legitimate. The whole thing feels like a huge scam.

I have received an email stating my order was canceled and also shows the $16.48 in shipping that I am disputing, however this is a standard cancellation and I do not believe it is in response to my complaint/request.

Review: I never received a tracking number from company or received hammock I ordered. When I emailed to ask where it was I was told UPS picked it up and didn't scan to have a tracking number. I was told I would get another email with a tracking number from FedEx this time. Nothing. In the 7 weeks I have been waiting I have moved and informed them of my new address but was told it had already shipped but I never recieved a tracking number or the hammock. I have had dozens of emails between the company and never returned phone calls.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back. I never want to deal with this company ever again!

Over this period of time I have called the customer service # multiple times. With the one exception, no one ever picks up. If you dial zero it says 'no attendant'
On **/**/13 I tried the phone # again and hung up after 17 minutes.

Response:
Dear Buyer, We apologize for the inconvenience, but please be advised that Living Social never paid us for the travel hammock deal which is in breach of our agreement with them. It is due to this that the hammocks were not shipped. Cautivadora stands behind their deals and tried in earnest to fulfill the orders. Cautivadora tried, in good faith, to resolve the issue with Living Social but Living Social has cancelled the deal. Cautivadora will be refunding your shipping fee.
With sincerest apologies, Cautivadora, Inc.
