Review: Ordered a folding hammock through this company using a voucher from Living Social. Paid for item but item was never shipped. Review: Apparently it is the same that you have dealt with before. I placed an order thru [redacted] in July 2013. After many weeks, Cautivadora said that [redacted] breached their contract and due to legalities they could not say anything until the issue was settled between the two companies. I received an email with a special customer service number to call for assistance. When I had tried to contact them before regarding my order, you could never get anyone on the phone, nor an email response. This time, after several tries, I did get in touch with a company rep. She reordered my item, the travel hammock, and provided free shipping. She was very nice. I had only dealt with [redacted] once, so I figured they must have done what Cautivadora claimed. I excitedly waited for the item which was supposed to be an anniversary gift back in July. They were also advertising the item at a much discounted price on their website and are still doing so today. Shipping time is supposed to be 7-10 business days according to their website. I have tried several times since placing my order to get an update. I have called their customer service, tech help, corp off, tried email and their contact us form. I get no response. The status on their website is "new". They have provided 45 points to some reward program they have. They have accepted my order, so where is my item?

Review: I accidentally placed an order on 9/**/2013 for an item via check/money order as the website would not accept credit card information. Since I did not mean to place to order, I immediately reached out to their e-mail support to cancel the order and proceed with the order via credit card. I waited a week and after no response I called their help line. After upwards of 30 minutes on hold without ever speaking to a person, I hung up and sent another e-mail. I then waited another week and sent another e-mail. I have not gotten a single response to any of my e-mails and have seen several complaints about them not answering the phone or returning calls. I simply want to cancel my order and am concerned that my non-payment could adversely affect my credit score.

Not only is the website incredibly bad, the customer service is even worse. I simply want to have my order cancelled and reached out immediately almost a month ago and have yet to receive a single response.

Review: I purchased a travel hammock from Cautivadora through [redacted]. I authorized payment of $16.48 for shipping and charged it to my credit card. Cautivadora and [redacted] cancelled the order and [redacted] credited me the cost of the hammock. I requested credit for the shipping charge through email and voicemail to Customer Service from Cautivadora and they have not responded to my request and have not credited the $16.48. Review: On July [redacted] I ordered a hammock via [redacted] deal for voucher price of $59 but was charged full price of $129.99 plus shipping at checkout. That same day I contacted the company to correct the error. Despite multiple emails, voicemails and communication through the company's website, the billing error has not been corrected. The company is unreachable by phone, web chat. They give inconsistent messages in the rare event when they do submit a delayed reply by email. Each message asks to call to fix but no one answers the phone and they don't leave and extension #. 9 days ago I received an email that the product had shipped but the tracking number is blank. I warned the company weeks ago that if they didn't refund the full cost and shipping that I would file a Revdex.com case. Do not order from this company -- they ordering process is flawed and customer service non-response, ineffective and frustrating. The company has my address and should mail a refund or credit my debit card immediately.

Review: This is the 2nd Revdex.com compliant against this company that I have made in the last 6 months. I do not have the documents any longer as to initial complaint but on 9/** I placed another replacement order with this company for a hammock order # AB-[redacted]. My orginal order # that they cancelled because of the initail problem was AB-[redacted]. I was charged $42.99 for this item and on several occassions I called them as I never again received the hammock. I was told it will take 8 weeks. It is now almost 3 months later and whenever I call them at ###-###-#### they either are on vacation/closed or you remain on hold indefinitely with their AVR saying " we are trying to connect you". There is something wrong with this business and I suggest the Revdex.com look into it to avoid further fraudaulant activities. I was thrilled to see the deal, because my boyfriend really wanted a hammock for his birthday, which was on August [redacted]. We are looking forward to have it finished sooner this weekend so we can also provide the tracking numbers of the items that have been shipped. We appreciate your patience on this. We apologize for the delay. [redacted]. We only need your patience while we are upgrading and integrating the automated tracking system for FedEx. Also, please always check your spam/junk mail folder for possible tracking number notification that FedEx may have gone ahead. Thank you! So, I responded the following day to ask for clarification. Which carrier has my package? UPS as indicated in my shipping confirmation weeks prior or FedEx? I received no response. I proceeded to send four emails to every email address I could find on the website. I then called customer service and this time the number did not work. It stated that Cautivadora is upgrading and not available. They will not respond to my emails regarding a tracking number or return my phone calls. I have contacted [redacted] to complain about the scam and they simply stated "we are looking into it." At that point, I decided to research the company a little more and found this site: [redacted] Several other customers have the exact claim as me. They received a shipping confirmation on August [redacted] with no tracking number and no one from customer service will respond to our requests. I honestly feel like this is a fake company and my money was taken and now I'm left with no gift to provide. Can you please look into whether or not this company is real? I realize it's "just" a hammock, but the point is that I spent money that I work hard for on this gift and I have nothing to show for it. It was really embarrassing having nothing more than a card to give my bf on his bf and not even being able to provide him with a tracking number or ETA as to when the product will arrive.Desired Settlement: I either want a tracking number, which any reputable company should be able to provide, so that I can get a better understanding of where my package is OR I want a full refund. Review: My wife, [redacted], and I purchased two hammocks from Cautivadora (Orders [redacted] and [redacted]) from [redacted] vouchers. They were purchased on 08/**/13 and 08/**/13. There was no option to pay on their website using the gift certificates from [redacted], so you had to check out and send them a check for the shipping in order for them to be shipped out. I contacted customer service and they said that once the check cleared in 5-10 business days they would process the order. I sent a check in for the amount of both hammocks' shipping (total $33.62) on 08/**/13. The check then cleared my bank at 5/* on 08/**/13. I contacted the company several times via their online customer service (their quickest and preferred method according to them) and still have yet to have any response. The orders still both show as unpaid. Then on 09/**/13 I received an email stating that all [redacted] customers would be getting their orders if they had not already. That has been a month ago. I just got a response back from [redacted] yesterday apologizing for Cautivadora and processing my refund for the purchase of the hammock. Now I just want the refund for the shipping charges for both hammocks and to never purchase from this merchant again. They do not answer phone calls, emails, or voice mails when you call and no one answers (because I have never reached a live voice on the phone).Desired Settlement: I want to have a refund for the amount of the shipping for both orders, which totals $33.62. I do not want any kind of gift certificate or store credit as this company has held on to my money for over 60 days and I have still yet to see a product or get any response from the company.

Review: I purchased a deal through [redacted] for a travel hammmock, which I then used to order through Cautivadora's website. I mailed a check for $16.06 for shipping, as they would not accept credit cards, and that check was cashed on 8/**/13. However, I have gotten no response to multiple emails and voice messages I have left since that time, and no one ever answers the phone or is available for their online chat.

I have been informed that their deal with [redacted] was cancelled, but that it didn't effect [redacted] customers. I asked [redacted] for a refund of the $59 I paid for the voucher, but they declined.

I initally placed my order on 8/*/13, and I know that my check was cashed on 8/** by Cautivadora. It has now been almost 2 months with absolutely no resoponse to my attempts to contact customer service. I am on hold with them as I write this and have been for 20 minutes.Desired Settlement: promt delivery or complete refund of $59 + 16.06

Review: Purchsed a voucher from [redacted] on July [redacted] 2013..Immediatly went to product site and purchased merchandise. I have not heard anything from company as to a shipping tracking numner called multiple times in the past week or so leaving messages and sedning emails. Did get through twice speaking with a person named [redacted] whome sates she can do nothing for me, does not know how to reach anyone fromt he company..she is working from home, out of the country. Then spoke with a [redacted] whom stated she was a supervisor and then she was not a supervisor, she could not get her story straight, and also could do nothing for me..states that the merchandise would be shipped out in about 6 weeks..unexcepable I want my money back..Shipping charge from Cautivadora and then the voucher fee from [redacted] (of which [redacted] can do nothing about until the merchant cancels it on there end) [redacted] was to have a [redacted] call me, never heard from her. It was stated in my original complaint what was purchased (folding chair) using [redacted]. There have been multiple phone calls to company regaurding item purchsed. PAst few times attempted the phone number for company had been temp. disconnected. The item was purchsed 07-**-2013. I am belief that the company is fraud and taking advantage of consumers. If and when I ever spoke with anyone they told me thay were overseas and there was nothing thay can do about my complaint and could never find my order.

Review: On July **, 2013 I purchased two hammocks through a secondary site, [redacted] via Cautivadora. Cautivadora failed to ship the hammocks. The items were never received. After numerous emails sent and messages left at Cautivadora inquiring my purchase, no one ever replied! I eventually had to contact [redacted] explaining the problem. After investigating, they responded that there was issues with this company as others were complaining with the same issue. [redacted] reimbursed me for the part I paid to them for the two hammocks. However, when making the purchase through Cautivadora's website, they personally charged a $20.54 shipping for each hammock. I ordered two. They charged my credit card a total of $41.08. My credit card statement shows the credit from [redacted], but Cautivadora has not refunded the shipping charge for the items I never received! I have called everyday for two weeks only to be placed on hold "while they attempt to connect me or I can push 1 to leave a message". I have left numerous messages and sent numerous emails to no avail. I'm extremely frustrated! That's my $41.08...not theirs! It may not seem like much, but in this economy, and to me, it's enough to raise a stink over! Is there any way you can look into this poor business deal? I pray you are able to get through because consumers cannot. I appreciate any and all help with my issue. This sure makes me skeptical of ordering from online companies that I am not familiar with in the future. Review: I purchased a Baltimore Ravens Grill Cover on 5/** utilizing a [redacted] voucher and had a technical issue and it showed as a money order versus a credit card. After several attempts to contact Cautivadora, I received an email from "[redacted]" on 5/** and finally spoke with her on 5/**. She said that my card would be charged for shipping when the item ships - but it might be on back order for a few days. My card was charged $15.64 that day. I received an email on 6/** titled "Order Shipped # [redacted]" saying "This email confirms that your order was Shipped. Contact us if you have any questions about your order. Click here to track your order. [redacted]"... IT NEVER SHIPPED!! There have been numerous attempt by myself and [redacted] via email/calls/live chat to get an explanation/resolve the issue with no success. In addition, I received another email on 7/** titled "Follow Up - Order # [redacted]" asking me to please review my purchased item. I realize that this case if probably a little different in that I was charged $45 by [redacted] (who then pays Cautivaora a portion...I believe half) for the voucher number an then I purchased the item on Cautivadora's website and was charged an additional amount for shipping ($15.64).Desired Settlement: Cancel the order and refund my shipping costs!!! [redacted] has offered to give me a credit towards a future purchase for the $45 once they know that the order was cancelled.

Review: I ordered (early summer 2013) two travel hammock deals from Living Social for $50 each. Living Social charged my credit card, and the merchant who would be shipping the hammocks (Cautivadora) charged my credit card for shipping 23.53 each. Several weeks after that, I received an email from Cautivadora saying the deal had been cancelled, and I would need to get my money back from Living Social, and they (Cautivadora) would refund my shipping charges. I contacted Living Social, and they IMMEDIATELY refunded my $100, but I am still WAITING for the refund of shipping charges. Cautivadora emailed me (general email to all hammock purchasers) saying they had set up a 24/7 telephone hotline JUST FOR US. I tried that number at least 50 times, as well as emailing their customer service the same number of times. I NEVER got a live person, and I NEVER got a response to ANY OF MY VOICEMAILS OR EMAILS, and there were a lot! Cautivadora keeps sending me "random emails" about specials they have, but NO RESPONSE to my direct inquiries. Also, in summer 2013 they said (again, in a general email) to allow 2 - 3 months for refund of shipping, but it's now been at least 6 months, and I CANNOT contact the merchant. I looked them up on Yelp, and there are MANY complaints JUST LIKE MINE. for the same product and reason. I feel this business needs to be shuttered.... but I also would like my shipping charges back!!! They are a total scam. I do have copies of all emails from them for backup.Desired Settlement: Close this business - they are a total scam.

I never received the item after 6 months, was credited the full item amount back from [redacted] but have yet to receive a shipping credit from Cautivadora. I have called and emailed dozens of times and have't received a single response. I did receive a "cancelled order" notice this week which I responded to asking about my refund...again, no response.Desired Settlement: I would like my credit card to be refunded the amount charged by Cautivadora in July, 2013 for shipping of an item I never received.

Review: I ordered an item (mosiac bird feeder) from this company through a [redacted] offer back in April. The item was damaged in transit and shipped back to the merchant. After numerous phone calls, I was told that a new one would be shipped in June. Since the customer service number is automated and never connects to a live person, I have also tried to communicate through e-mails and was assured a new one would be sent. To this day, a new one has not been received. I have kept [redacted] advised of this and they have since credited me with the offer purchase price of $25. Unfortunately, they could not refund the delivery charge of $18.38 for the shipping expenseDesired Settlement: I would like Cautivadora to refund me the shippings expense since I never received the goods.

Review: It is extremely difficult to contact this company. I was to have a hammock delivered to my home. After 2 months and being charged for a product I did not receive, I had left numerous messages on their customer service phone line, e-mail and facebook page. After receiving no replies, I had to cancel my order and charge through my credit card company. I unsubscribed from this website and still continue to receive offers. Review: Ordered a foldable hammock with a [redacted] deal through the company on July *, 2013. As of September *, 2013, my father has not received the item ordered for his birthday. I understand the companies disclaimer about [redacted] deals taking up to 6 weeks to deliver. I did receive notification that the product was processed and ready to ship the first week of August. However, we are at 8 weeks and no product has been received. The company is non responsive to follow up phone calls and emails. I have called multiple times at different times of the day to be told by an automated voice that the phone lines are being restructured, the company is closed for the holiday (no holiday was near), and that the phone lines were disconnected. I have also emailed the company on numerous occasions and have not received responses. I finally went to [redacted] and asked about the company and they stated that they have received similar complaints about the company.Desired Settlement: I would like a cash refund for the order I placed with them to include the shipping that I paid for upfront.

Review: I ordered their product on July **, 2013 and used a voucher from Living Social but paid the shipping from my paypal account. They were not able to process the order so Living Social refunded my voucher and the company was supposed to refund the shipping. They emailed me and said they would give me a special on the product and use my shipping money I had already paid to ship it. I emailed them back and declined, saying to refund my shipping fee. I have emailed more than once and have not gotten a response and/or my refund. I have also called and left various voicemail messages with no message back and no refund.

I finally got an email that my order had been canceled on Nov 13th but still no refund. Order number: [redacted]

Review: I have tried to call, left messages, emailed customer service all with no follow-up. One auto response asked if I would like a call but no one called.

The hammock I ordered was originally offered by [redacted]. They dropped them for similar problems. Cautivadora sent an email disputing this but the as mentioned above

no responses were received when contact was attempted. Tried to reorder but was told It needed to be prepayed. This would not be safe in view of their major lack of customer service.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the product and then send the payment. I do not trust this company with prepayment after months of trying to get a response.
