We have conducted an investigation and the results show that
there was a change to the signatory for the school *** *** attended in Ethiopia
Our organization is obligated to confirm any changes in the official signatory
for any school and/or license registrationAfter multiple attempts
we still
waiting on a response from the nursing school *** *** attended. As of January 27, our Authentication and
Verification department has taken subsequent action to expedite the process to
get a confirmation from the nursing schoolThis action has been communicated
to the applicantAs an additional courtesy we have extended the applicant’s
order for months since her order is set to expire

I am the spouse of the complaintif because she chooses to remain anonymous because she is currently dealing with the CGFNS She entered the United States as a foreign nurse from Germany and paid her fees to the CGFNSI understand that foreign nurses require a screening to meet the standards here in the United StatesWhile in Colorado, she started the process in and it took her months to take the NCLEX (nurse exam) to receive her RN licenseWe are currently in Virginia trying to get her nursing paperwork transferred from CO to VA The company gave her wrong information about services to attend college and overcharged us They make it impossible for her to have her transcripts sent from one school to anotherTo get a re-evaluation CES report (credential evaluation report) a clerk from the company told her she has to pay $for this, however the CFNS website says the prices is $ We paid this and the transcripts were not sentAnother issue is storing the paperwork Every years it cost $to store any/all foreign nursing paperwork The CGFNS is the only place on the east coast which will do this (other location is California) We know other foreign nurses here on Fort Belvoir that are dealing with the same issues If you could assist us with this matter it would be appreciated

November and the follwere misdirected to a "junk" e-mail folder and only noticed when it was reviewed before a final deletion.International Consultants of Delaware, ICD, is an independent division of *** *** and its goal is to provide foreign-educated professionals with high-quality education evaluation service that facilitates success with the U.SCitizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), institutions of higher learning, employers, and licensing boardsIt is a charter member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) and as a provider of world-class education evaluation services for years, ICD is aware of the importance of its reports to the future and professional careers of its clientsThe evaluation reports have been used to assist individuals in obtaining further education, employment and immigration visas, as well as licenses and certifications.As the applicant notes in her complaint the applicant submitted the application in March of and it was completed in April This may seem like an extraordinary amount of time, but this is how long it can take to receive documents and review her credential and complete her reportAdditionally, we did agree to perform a re-review of her file after she sent us additional information at no additional chargeThis was agreed to since applicant initially wanted to go through the appeals process which would have cost her an additional $This did indeed take a longer period of time due to a transition in the departmentFor this we are very sorryWe did agree to do this re-evaluation in mid-October 2014.The ICD Manager did advise *** *** when she did reach out to her that is was almost completed on November 19, that the revised report would be completed on November 21, It was sent via UPS courier to the applicant, tracking # *** and to the Oregon PTSB *** November 24, 2014.Again, we are sorry for the delay in completing the no-charge re-evaluation but we did feel ICD did provide a no-charge re-evaluation service instead of the cost for an Appeal: $or another evaluation costing $400.00Sincerely,Marta LProfessional Relations Liaison

In response to the referenced complaint*** *** placed a CES order on August 27, Our organization is required by the applicant’s report recipient to review all required documentationI had a face to face conversation with *** *** on February 13, regarding the last
requirement we need in order to complete her CES order*** *** is aware that we need the following documents to perform the evaluation: Secondary school credential from *** *** *** *** License verification from Peru Transcript from Universidad *** *** ** ** *** We have received and verified the documents listed above. After reviewing the documents received from Universidad *** *** ** ** ***, the evaluator needs an English translation of the transcripts*** *** assumed that the school submitted an English translation with the transcriptShe is satisfied with the outcome of her order Once the English translation of the transcript is received and has met the recipient’s requirements a CES Professional Report will be issued We trust that this will address the applicant’s concerns and that the matter will be closed

I applied for and received a Visa Screen within a reasonable time frameDue to regulations in the state I have a job offer in, I required a CES report to obtain licensureThe documents required for this process were identical to the ones required for the Visa Screen, so I assumed it would take only a short amount of timeI am in a hurry since my job starts in a short timeI therefore paid for the expedited serviceMy transcript from one of my colleges was rejected because they said it didn't have the amount of clinical hours listed for my maternity/infant placementI have a copy of that transcript and it has a clear in that spotI had my clinical hours within a separate universityI was able to have my college courier repeat transcripts and a letter confirming my clinical hours to CGFNSSince this college does not offer courier services, I arranged for a courier to pick up the transcriptsSince the feed were paid out of my account, my return address showed up on the package and CGFNS rejected the transcript (remember they were only confirming information previously accepted for my Visa Screen)Not only that, but when I checked the status of my order, the transcripts from my other university which had previously been accepted for both the Visa Screen and the current CES service were now rejectedI called customer service multiple times, and also used the very convoluted contact us wizard to attempt to get clarifications on required documents and never received satisfactory responses except from an agent named MikeI wish that I was able to speak to the person reviewing my file in order to understand what it is that they wantAll the information sent to them by licensing agencies, transcripts from colleges/universities were accepted previously and so I don't understand why they are now rejectedAnd why would the status of one of my transcripts be 'meets all program requirements' one day and rejected the next?

This applicant was frustrated with the process because one of her schools has not provided required information to complete her reportWe are currently working with her to get the required documents

The applicant has not meet the requirements in order to complete her CES orderThe evaluator assigned to this file has notified *** *** *** as to what documents are still outstanding on her accountUntil we have received the nursing transcript in the original language (German), a nursing diploma of completion and an explanation as to why the applicant was not licensed as a nurse in Germany this file will remain incompleteOnce we have received all outstanding documents and met the assessment requirements a CES Professional Report can be issued to the applicant’s report recipientOur organization will continue to keep the applicant notified until we have received all the required documents to process her CES order. We trust that this will address the applicant’s concerns and that the matter will be closed and resolved

We have conducted an investigation and have discovered that the delay in processing *** ***’s Credentials Evaluation Service (CES) order was due to a change with the signatory from *** Medical Center PVTLTDthe nursing school *** *** attended in NepalOur organization is obligated to
confirm any changes in the official signatory for any school and/or license registrationAlso, in the assessment review it was determined that clock (credit) hours was not listed on the nursing transcript (2010-2013) ONLY MARKS. CGFNS International will need clock hours in order to continue with our review. The reason that this request is so important we need to determine the weight that each course is worth. Marks only provide total ranking in the course contentOur organization would need the nursing school to reformat the transcript that was provided. Once we have received and reviewed all outstanding required documents a CES Professional Report can be issued to the applicant’s report recipientOur organization will continue to keep the applicant notified until we have received all the required documents to process her CES order.
